Bubba's Steaks and Shakes

It's surprising to get a great cheesesteak on the mainline. The mainline has never had a good stop. Bubba is very, very good.

Stopped by Villanova on a visit and looked for the closest place to get a cheesesteak. Bubbas popped up within a mile and so I thought to give it a try. The staff was extremely friendly upon entry and the lady behind the counter was delivering a tray full off deliciousness also know as cheesesteak. The seating can accommodate approximately 20 people or so but it wasn't packed. The smell was amazing. I ordered one regular cheesesteak, a ribeye cheesesteak with provolone and a pizza cheese. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The meat was a bit bland. I was a bit upset but did get a chocolate shake in the way out. It was damn good. Maybe if I visit again I will retry it.

Always solid, consistent, and excellent fries. The best cheesesteak on the Mainline. Service is quick and people behind the counter actually smile.

It's a nice little place for cheese steak fans . Nicely decorated in a southern theme with friendly staff . Service was excellent . The steak was nicely done. If you are a cheese steak fan then a nice little addition on the main line area . I ordered the Royal cheese steak on their menu and it was what it promised to be , a nice juicy cheese steak with good quality bread . I can see this as a hang out for college kids etc .

Different cheesesteak #1121 in the last five years. The Montgomery county cheesesteak scene keeps getting better. I got a cheesesteak with mushrooms. Non-seeded roll. $14. Could it have been a touch bigger? Yes, but it was very well made so I will take the quality over quantity. If you want bigger, they have a one pound cheesesteak on the menu. The mushrooms had a great flavor. They have a Portobello Mushroom on the menu. Good looking menu for a small take out sandwich shop.

The customer service was amazing. I walked in and everyone greeted me with a smile and was happy to serve me. They serve a little of everything from Philly cheesesteaks to milkshakes to wings to fried Oreos. Personally, I love love love crispy fries and onion rings and they did not disappoint. They were so good. Now the philly cheesesteak could have used a little more flavor to it.

Great addition to Bryn Mawr serving up good steaks. The store looks great, very clean and fresh, the black and yellow looks sharp. I ordered pickup on their website and got mine with Cooper sharp and fried onions. Plenty of meat in a good roll, nice chop, and the cheese mixed throughout. I was quite pleased. My order was ready and the counter help was very friendly and efficient. Also got a chocolate shake. I assume they have vanilla soft serve and use that as the base for all their shakes, at least that is how mine tasted, but I'll ask next time I'm there. Pleased to see they have some breakfast sandwiches which are served all day. They also have some veggie options. I plan on hitting them up again to try their jumbo wings next!

One of the best cheesesteaks around and that is high claim when you are in the Philly area.

This was the Philly cheesesteak experience I was hoping for! Located in a quaint, clean space the cheesesteaks are made fresh to order and served to your table quickly. Tender juicy meat, caramelized onions, melty cheese all on a sturdy but soft roll. Incredibly welcoming and attentive staff just minutes from Villanova with plenty of parking across the street. Definitely will visit again when we are back in town!
