Don't get ya hopes up, I'm pissed. $24 down the drain . I ordered a half slab with sauce ($18) that didn't even come with sides & no damn sauce dry as helllll. I added Mac & cheese & the greens ... Why my sides tasted smoked I swear to god. This dirty looking Mac & cheese. Y'all really failed & the whole time the man piping himself up talking about how good it is. & bad talking about a customer who asked for a sample smh. Get it together .

Delicious food made by friendly folks who seem very dedicated to their work and take pride in their craft. 2 highlight items for me are the stuffed burger and chicken

Black Pearl's is the real deal, fantastic smoky ribs! Got the rib sandwich, which was a generous 4 large ribs with white bread and a mustard bbq sauce. Ribs were excellent. Super moist, fall apart tender, great smoked flavor. Was there at the end of the day on Sunday so they were sold out of most things. Will be back earlier in the day to try the brisket. Highly recommended!

Becareful of this truck . They gave me Burnt barbecue ribs week old big macaroni and tasteless potato salad and serve lemon cake from ShopRite

BEST barbecue I have EVER tasted (and I've spent a good amount of time in the south)!!I live on North 42nd Street and was drawn by the heavenly scent to Market Street and my first taste of Black Pearl's. Since then, I haven't missed a weekend!To make it truly amazing is the friendly Black Pearl's staff!It's like coming "down home" for real food and people!!

We went here for the first time today to get food for us and my mom, who is in home hospice and I'm trying to find stuff she wants to eat. I'll get to the food in a sec, but can I just say how nice everyone is? Really friendly people. It's super hot and humid today and working in a hot food truck , everyone is smiling. What a breath of fresh air. Now the food. DELICIOUS! And the sauce - I would buy buckets of it. The meat on its own is great. Add the sauce and it really enhances it. We were too late to try some sides (sold out) but the corn bread and coleslaw are great. The coleslaw has pieces of mango in it. YUM! Hope to get back tomorrow to try the sides we missed out on today, try another entree or two, and get more cole slaw and corn bread. And I'd like to repeat - I think even if I hated the food, I'd come back just to hang out with the lovely people who work there. :-)
