"This completely unassuming place, that is up for a James Beard, is going to leave you full and happy! Made reservations on a random Miami night and it was so good, we came back the following day. Between both days, we ordered:Buffalo fish wings - 10 out of 10 for sure. Unique idea to use the whole fish - it's meaty and packed with flavor Smoked fish dip - It's light and delicious coupled with their house made chips and pickled onions and peppers - finger-licking goodSweet corn spoon spread - this was pretty meh. Didnt like the texture and the taste fell flat. Tiradito - super fresh, light and paired perfectly with the ripe avocado and the popcorn and hominy added such a different and unexpected touch and flavor. Genius dish!Scallops & pork belly - this was unexpectedly rich with the most perfectly seared scallops, which are my favorites. It has amazing Asian flare with the pok choy and rich soy sauce. Caviar deviled eggs - they were good but nothing to write home about. The following day for brunch, we had the smoked fish dip (yes, again lol). My wife ordered the fish sandwich. Wish I could share if it was good but judging by how she devoured it and I didn't even get to sniff it, I would say it was damn good, lol. I ordered a sort of crab french toast. Now hear me out - it was BANGIN'! I wasnt sure what to expect but the sweetness of the bread caught me off guard and the richness of the béchamel sauce was INSANE. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what the name of the dish is and even worse, cannot find it listed on the brunch menu. I promise, however, it is there, and it is definitely enough of a portion to share with two people.Beyond the food being absolutely delicious this place is so chill and vibe. Is Poppin and the staff seems really chill and down to earth. You arent rushed by any means so it's a great place to graze over multiple dishes and chat with your friends and family. All in all, a spot I definitely plan to return to again, and again when I am in Miami Beach. Enjoy!"
"My sister is a regular at Happy Wine Grove so she decided to celebrate my mom's bday here on Saturday evening. We had the BEST time! Our server (& fellow Tico) Moises was wonderful. Honestly, everyone we encountered & everything we ate/drank was fantastic! We started with a red wine on the house then I moved on to a delicious Sancerre while my mom & sister stuck to red. We ordered a few things off the menu to share: - Olives ( all the olives I had were spectacular & briny & spicy! YUM!) - PAN CON TOMATE & MANCHEGO CHEESE BOARD (delicious! never met a pan con tomate i didn't like & this one was excellent! manchego is also one of my favourite cheeses so great dish!)- BACON WRAPPED DATES (i don't eat pork but mom & sis loved it)- MANCHEGO CROQUETAS (also on the house & also delicious! perfectly balanced & not at all greasy. Crispy, golden outside, delicious creamy melty cheese on inside. loved the accompanying garlic aioli too!)- PATATAS BRAVAS (so good! again, not greasy at all & the spicy tomato sauce & garlic aioli were the perfect compliments to the piping hot potatoes)- SHRIMP AL AJILLO (super delicious & flavourful!) They also brought out an incredible chocolate brownie cake slice with ice cream for my mom's bday. Perfect way to end an already exceptional meal! Must come back soon for the MUSHROOM RISOTTO which I hear is fantastic! love this spot & can't wait for next time."

"Loved their happy hour and their decent room of bites ! It's used to be limited but now they are more flexible . I remember when happy hour was on in the pool area then it loved to just the bar ."
"My family and I went to celebrate our parents anniversary and we were seated promptly. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She brought us water while we looked at the menu. The ambiance was very energetic! We all had some wine and shared the crouquetas de bacalao and ham. We also shared the shrimp scampi, and garbanzos fritos. All were good. For my entree, I shared the seafood paella and it was good. The best part of this restaurant is that they have live music and a Flamenco show. It was wonderful! I'd definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner."
"Looking at the massive amount of tasty baked goods behind the counter, you'd think this was a typical grab-and-go bakery. But it seemed most patrons were sitting down with a coffee and enjoying a delicious pastry. If you are getting a bunch of pastries to go, you have to order from a waitress instead of at the counter, which is kinda weird. But so worth it since everything is delicious.Ham & Cheese Pie: This was pretty novel to me, since I haven't had anything like it before. It's definitely a pie, with golden flaky dough on top and a similar crust on bottom. But the filling is alternating layers of ham and cheese (provolone?) and a few thinly sliced tomatoes. Heat it up a little so it's melty and it's absolutely delicious! Way better than a boring old ham & cheese sandwich.Patato Tortilla: A pretty tasty tortilla where the soft potatoes and onions were perfectly in balance with the binding egg. Neither dominated the other. The little side salad of lettuce and carrot shreds actually complemented this well.Árabe Empanada: This actually does remind me of some Lebanese meat pies. Except this is meatier. And the spices add a very nice kick. Probably my favorite empanada here.Ham & Cheese Empanada: About what you'd expect, ham and a bunch of cheese. Best when warm and the cheese is melty. Tasty, but nowhere near the caliber of the ham & cheese pie.Argentina Empanada: Large chunks of marinated shredded beef. Definitely the most substantial of the empanadas. This could be a meal by itself!La Española Empanada: Kinda like the árabe, but without all the spices. It was ok.Flan: I like that they gave me a lot of that brown flan juice. The flan itself was great, jiggly and eggy. But it was even better floating in a spoonful of the sweet syrup. Also, for good measure, they added a dollop of dulce de leche. That also worked well with the flan."

I was able to finally check out the place on the last day of Miami spice and the food didn't disappoint. Upon arrival I was expecting something different. For some reason I expected a water view as did my friend but it's a cute quaint restaurant. If sitting inside to escape the heat of the outside patio it is definitely a strong fish smell upon entering but it's a fish house. So there's that. Our waiter was so good. Funny and suggested menu items. I will note that they were out of the friend chicken at 1:30 in the afternoon and the fish tail sandwich was swapped out for the hog head. So I got the fish dip, hog head sandwich, and the cast iron brownie. Washed it all down with a glass of rose'. None of the food items missed. I'd definitely visit again.

Absolute GEM! MUST stop in for happy hour or date night. This insanely cute and aesthetic wine bar offers the friendliest service in Miami, an insane happy hour menu, and the best vibes. The meatballs and patatas bravas were so insanely good. I'm dying to come back and try the artichoke from their full dinner menu. A happy hour glass of Sancerre for $8 is *chefs kiss*

Came for the strawberry moon pool party on Saturday (with no room reservation) There wasn't much information online, so I didn't know what to expect prior to going. Basically, be dressed to go to the pool because there's no where to store your stuff unless you get a table or say bed. Tables start at $750 minimum for drinks/food and day beds start at $1000. The drinks are going to be $27 after tip while getting a pitcher was $200 each, so we thought a table was a better deal for our group. Bottles start at $550. This is all before their mandatory gratuity and tax. For food, we just got a place of fries at $24 (most expensive plate of fries I've ever ordered haha) that were well seasoned. Service was pretty attentive but it did take a while for pitchers to come out. As for the "party" aspect, it was pretty packed (probably 75% women), but not a lot of people were dancing- even when the main DJ came on. Most people seemed to leave by 6pm too. Overall, I had a blast. The lower rating is just for how expensive everything was- but that's to be expected for Miami Beach. Great spot for a bach or something tho!

We had a great experience at this restaurant on a Saturday night. The food was fresh, authentic and delicious. We ordered some croquetas for appetizers, sangria for drinks and a seafood paella for main course. For dessert we had a crema catalana that was on point. Just for the food we'll go back, but definitely the flamenco show was what make this night so special. They were fabulous!! We will definitely go back to this neighborhood gem.

While strolling on the coldest day in Miami looking for a cappuccino and hot chocolate to keep us warm, we found this neighborhood Argentina foodie gem.Oh my, homemade pastries, croissants, Spanish style egg tortilla/quiche within a cozy setting. Plenty of empanada varieties too.We sat outside in the wind on their sidewalk seating since the dogs were with us and savored our hot drinks with an assortment of pastries. Hubby enjoyed his chicken empanada. We the selected onion and cheese variety to take home. Also, I couldn't resist the lovely homemade Alfajore cookie to take away too .Friendly staff and my Spanglish skills came in handy! :) Oh, free pastry with Yelp , gracias!Support these local gems!

"5 star food 4 star ambience 4 star service. Fantastic food in a funky interior but slightly run down exterior with so so service.5 star food. The star of this show is definitely the food. Empanadas and bacon wrapped dates were both incredible, so we ordered seconds of exactly the same thing.4 star ambience. Inside it has a cool funky vibe that's a lot of fun. Outside feels slightly run down.4 star service. It wasn't full on Miami 'tude but there was a bit of it in the service."
"Located in Little Havana right on the Main Street of the area, this is one of the most recommended spots to visit. It's a popular tourist spot and a stop for guided tours, so it definitely gets busy! The restaurant is cute inside. Very eclectic and bright. Not a ton of seating, but they have outdoor seating as well. It was a bit loud, but we were ok. We ordered pina colada, croquets & a Cuban sandwich! The pina colada had cinnamon, which my husband loved, but I didn't care for - the croquets, however, were delicious! My husband loved the Cuban and the "fries" are reminiscent of Pik'nik chips of our childhood. Definitely glad we stopped in to try it."
"This was my first time trying this restaurant... and it didn't disappoint. Ordered one of my favorite dishes; a beef empanada. To go together with the empanada, I also ordered their Garbanzo beans with chorizo. It was flavorful and was a good complement with the bread. For the main entree, I went with their Pechuga de pollo, with sautéed vegetables. I loved it because the chicken was very tender. I had a great dining experience and the servers were very friendly. Will recommend this place to anyone who likes a homey experience"
"Wow! Wow! Wow! An absolutely amazing find!Located across from the Citadel in the Little Haiti/Little River area, you could miss it if you are not looking. The dining room is small and intimate which I really like. Great for date night! The service was top notch. I mean not the typical "Miami service" you get on the day to day at places around. Our server Euri was super attentive and made great recommendations based on our preferences in food and wine!I cannot forget the wine! A absolutely great selection for any wine enthusiast! You will definitely find something that suits your palette. We started with the empanadas and blood sausages served with chimichurri and criolla sauces. Fantastic! It a party in your mouth. I couldn't get enough. I even took home extra sauces because I needed to.My wife had an amazing cooked flap steak and I enjoyed the rib eye. Super good, cooked perfectly. I cannot wait to go back!"
"This place is one of its kind, the owner is always there, you can even play dominos with him. Sometimes his wife helps too, it's a classic family business with friendly services, good small plates, medium-to-high wine options, good glasses and even life music from Thursday to Saturday in the afternoons. For people that are into wines this is a very good spot!"
