"If you're seeking a solid dining experience in Key Biscayne, Rusty Pelican is a top tier choice. Tucked in the Marina and offering amazing views surrounded by water, this place is more than just a restaurant--it's a versatile event space perfect for anything from a leisurely brunch to a special dinner date or celebration. We visited Rusty Pelican on a recommendation, fitting in brunch before our flight home. From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and the food was delicious. The menu is decent in size, from a raw bar to lobster, and even includes steak options and other lunch classics such as sandwiches and burgers. While the brunch selection was smaller, the flavors are anything but. I opted for the Beef Birria Benedict, which was phenomenal. The sweet waffle topped with tender birria and a rich sauce was *chef's kiss*The cocktails were another highlight--intricately designed, expertly crafted, and incredibly tasty. We valet parked, but apparently parking is a bit of a thing here. The lot is a bit small and congested, so I recommend valet if at all possible. Overall, Rusty Pelican made a lasting impression and has earned a spot on our short list of favorite spots in the Miami area. Whether you're in town for a visit or a local looking for a great place to dine, this spot is worth a stop!"
"Whisk is a fun restaurant. Mitch was our server and he is awesome. He was friendly and always around when we needed something. I enjoyed our table right at the front of the restaurant. They also have some charming outside seating with a cover on top. It somehow was not too hot so it is a nice option as well.I ordered a 100 year Old Fashioned. It has 5 bourbons and the oldest one is from 1928. This was a good drink. It is about as good as ones I have had elsewhere. It is $25 so a little pricey. He ordered a Sparkling Paloma. He enjoyed it. I was really intrigued with the beer draft station. The outside of it was covered in ice. So, I had to try a beer. It was cold but I thought it would be even colder. Anyway, my IPA was really good.Onto the food. I actually wanted two other appetizers but we went with his choice. It was a good one. Pimento cheese with pita chips. This is really excellent! We did need more chips which Mitch happily brought out. So good.I ordered the steak salad. I saw the raving reviews on Yelp. I had the steak cooked medium and it had great flavor. It is served with a toasted goat cheese medallion. I love goat cheese and this was awesome. There were string beans in the salad which is unique. I liked it but maybe another veggie would have been more better. He copied me and ordered the same salad. He was not as impressed with it but that is on him. We ordered the spiced rum cake for dessert. Next time I would get something else. Not bad just not that great either. Overall, a great meal."

"Pub Crawl - 1st stop...Parked on Harrison Street and saw a cool patio bar for happy hour from 4p - 6p - $2 off all craft brew and $8 apps. Walked in and sat at the bar and met with the bartender, Anthony, who gave us some food options and recommended highly the Sliders - pork belly, pulled pork and cheeseburger. We loved all three. We ordered the Watermelon Martini and the Tipsylicious 3Sons. Crazy delish both drinks. They have a big chalk board on the wall with forty craft tap beers. They also have a gas oven pumping out pizzas. The bathroom had beer decor on the walls and was spotless."
"It was a hot day in Miami but even that couldn't stop me from trying this spot. I came to this place to celebrate my birthday and couldn't wait to order brunch. The staff were amazing. We didn't have to wait too long for the food. The best part of this place is that its next door neighbor is a park. So if you have kids this is a perfect spot for you. Loved the trees and eating outdoors. They had fans so we weren't too hot. Really liked the whole experience here and can't wait to come back !"
"Morgans has a sultry atmosphere in the back area. It gives speakeasy/ retro diner vibes overall with a personal smooth touch. You have to see it to fully understand. Just feels nice. The food was and beverages were fresh to order and delicious. I went with a large group and buy large I mean a party of over 10 to 15. On this Friday night we had one server trying to accommodate all of us. He did his best and I didn't hear any complaints from my many companions. Back to the food. The portion sizes for the meals are just perfect. Not too much that you'd get stuffed yet not on the lighter side. Most of the ladies ordered sangria, champagne or wine. All of those options were in light and refreshing flavors. I ordered the salsa verde gnocchi with a side of sautéed spinach. They both were prepared well, not overly saturated with oil or sauce. Someone next to me ordered a fish and two others at my table ordered burgers with a side salad. Those portions were all decent. I couldn't see what the other 10 women ordered but like I said, I heard no complaints. Parking is a bit of a hassle depending on the timing. There was a parking lot free of charge in the back and street parking which is done by the pay by phone app. Of course the back parking is usually full, but you may get lucky and find a spot. Besides the lot, as I mentioned earlier, there's plenty of street parking and it's adjacent to the restaurant. You may have to walk a bit if they or the nearby establishments are busy. Bonus, kids 11 and under eat free, they do offer brunch and every day is happy hour. However, happy hour is not for large groups so we were not able to utilize that offer.*Note don't get lost. Their restaurant moved and I ended up going to the wrong location before I found the new one. It is not too far away from the original restaurant just an inconvenience. Please confirm that you are going to the new and correct location before you follow goggle, use Yelp instead ."
"I'm happy to post this updated review of Batch, and give this place the 4 stars I feel it now deserves; It seems this "gastropub" may finally have their collective "stuff" together once again. That's great to see, as we used to come here somewhat often until about 5 years ago when it appeared to go downhill. We tried returning here a few times last year on weekend evenings, but everything always seemed very inconsistent - sometimes it was packed and other times it was completely empty; they seemed to have random events and theme nights, and their kitchen sometimes closed early. Fast forward to more recently, and this place seems to be much better managed than it had been over the past few years. The kitchen is now consistently open until late, and as a bonus they offer the full menu until close, where in the past they'd always switch to a somewhat limited "late night" menu after a certain time. The bartenders once again seem to know their craft and are outgoing and offer samples if customers don't know exactly what they want, or if the bartender thinks he might have something they'd like. We do miss some of the former food offerings like the margarita pizza which was always good with a unique flavor, and the spicy glazed chicken wings, but the current menu has plenty of variety and we've been happy with everything we've tried here recently. So glad Batch seems to be in a better place now in many respects vs. our previous few (sometimes only attempted) visits - Let's hope they're able to keep it up!"
"I had heard B Bistro + Bakery had some of the best baked goods in town so I knew we had to make a stop here before embarking on our cruise later that day. As someone who can never resist a chocolate croissant, I was excited to try their pastries and brunch menu. We arrived around 11am on Sunday morning and were seated outside. One thing we weren't prepared for was how HUGE the portion sizes were. We ordered the Crab Eggs Benedict, Pastelito Pancakes, Chocolate Croissant as well as a couple of Cafe Lattes. The food was delicious and unique, I appreciated the Cuban touch of the Pastelito Pancakes with its guava preserve, cream cheese mousse, brown butter maple and vanilla crumble. It was a tad heavy and would be best shared with several people. The crab eggs Benedict was quite nice too with its crab cake on top of croissant. After this, I'll be asking why can't all my eggs Benedict come with a croissant instead of an English muffin. The ambiance was hip, light and airy and makes for a great outdoor dining experience. I wasn't used to the Miami heat and humidity so had it been later in the day, I would've opted to sit indoors instead."
"Looking for a special spot to celebrate my wife's birthday, Barton G was recommended by friends. Using Open Table, I easily made the reservation a week in advance and upon arriving we used the valet parking service. Street parking is limited, so the $25 was worth it. The server greeted us, took our drink orders and explained the menu. There were options selecting from a planned full course menu or individual items. We opted for the full course menu selection with the main course being the half roasted chicken and the wagyu steak. They are known for their food presentations and we were not disappointed. For dessert, we looked at the Yelp photos and selected the cotton candy. It was a silly selection, the sheer amount of cotton candy was way too much. We seconded guessed and should have selected the funnel cake as we saw another table order it. For special events, I would recommend this spot. While we dined inside, they do have an outside garden and dining area that would be nice on a cooler evening. Make sure you check they out and give them a try. Enjoy!"
"Gorgeous hidden patio area makes outdoor dining a breeze. Loved the ambiance and the outdoor mural. The food was super rich- the chorizo croquettes were salty and heavy, I wish they came with more sauce to cut through and lighten the bite. But really interesting flavor. My partner had a chicken rice (arroz imperial) dish that was flavorful but I wish it was slightly more aesthetic than just a blob of cheese on top. The passion fruit mojito was the perfect drink super light and refreshing! Space was awesome, food was decent but overpriced for what it was which is standard meats, rice, cheese, chicken. Think we spent a little over $70 on a light dinner."
"I've been hearing great reviews in this place. We went for dinner service. Nice little place inside, lots of natural lighting. The building is a little old but gives the inside a fancy rustic touch. For the food we decided to get the octopus, hamachi crudo and lobster roll. Octopus was cooked perfectly, seasoned good and over a nice little salad. Hamachi crudo, refreshing, delicious as well, finished it fast. The lobster roll was buttery, soft and just yum! You are allowed to pick 2 veggie sides with the entree. Our waiter was very kind and pretty much all the staff had a smile on there face and made us feel welcomed. This restaurant seems like it's the perfect restaurant to be by the water, so the location of it is a little unfortunate as the outside does not match the high quality food, and service on the inside. Over all, we had an amazing time and the food is 10/10"
"Stopped in for all you can eat sushi and was pleasantly surprised by additional, delicious foods! All you can eat carving bar (meats!), all you can eat raw bar (mussels, oysters, crab legs!). Wait staff were very friendly and provided top notch recommendations on rolls & more. Very busy for dinner; customers can be rude when you "get in their way" of certain dishes. Be prepared to face a large crowd! Paid Street parking nearby"

Rusty Pelican is one of the many restaurants in Miami with a beautiful view of the bay and the skyline. Sitting outdoor, the view during sunset is truly breathtaking. I had the Chilean Sea Bass for dinner. It looked really good, but unfortunately, it didn't taste as nice as it looked. The sweet plantain mash just didn't go well with the fish. For $49, I was expecting a little better. The restaurant is beautiful and so is the view, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price of the food.

I've been coming here since I was little and I've always had their fried chicken with mash potatoes. You can never go wrong with that dish. This most recent visit I wanted to try something new so I got one of their specials. It was a pan seared tuna with green beans. It was delicious and very fresh. For dessert I shared the chocolate mousse with my mom. It was a little disappointing because I didn't taste any chocolate in it so I don't recommend that dessert, but everything else was perfect. I didn't get it this time I came but I also love the fried green tomatoes.

Wonderful service and food. We sat outside and it was very nice. Our waitress was very friendly and made great recommendations. I really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict, which came with potatoes. It was delicious and filling! I would definitely get it again. They have many options to choose from when it comes to brunch, lunch, and dinner. The Espresso Martini was also very good! It was my first time trying one ever, so I'm glad I tried it here. We also had bread pudding as our dessert for celebrating a birthday. I plan on coming back and trying something new!

I visited this establishment on February 24,2024. I was alone so I was given the option to sit at the bar. I was there around 11:30am and it was already pretty packed. The server was amazing and was attentive. The restaurant as a whole has a very welcoming atmosphere and the workers all appeared to get along with one another. I had the chicken and waffles which were delicious. To drink I had a white sangria and let me tell you, it was amazing. Please note, the parking lot is small so you may have to park on the street. I was lucky to have gotten a spot when I was trying to turn out. If you don't see a parking spot upon entering don't continue going toward the back, it will be hard to turn around (I got stuck in a small hole while trying to turn around). I will definitely go back with my family or friends.

I had a Charcoal Croissant and an Espresso when I came here. The restaurant has very nice decor. Although the croissant looked very cool, I thought the taste could have been better. Service could have been better also.

I throughly enjoyed Barton G. It's definitely worth the money & the experience. They had the best Alfredo I've had, no exaggeration. The shrimp, crab & lobster were cooked right. The sauce was creamy and flavorful. The staff were helpful & added to the great service. Restaurant has a dim, warm, romantic atmosphere. I would come back & recommend to others. Valet parking is an option. If not, you will be looking for street parking in the neighborhood.

"There was a bit of a wait for our table even having reservations however it was worth the wait . I had the catfish & shrimp over oxtail fried rice and it was really good. Seasoned well, lots of flavor. Drinks could've been a little stronger but was good as well. Love the ambiance of the place. Definitely a must try"
"This completely unassuming place, that is up for a James Beard, is going to leave you full and happy! Made reservations on a random Miami night and it was so good, we came back the following day. Between both days, we ordered:Buffalo fish wings - 10 out of 10 for sure. Unique idea to use the whole fish - it's meaty and packed with flavor Smoked fish dip - It's light and delicious coupled with their house made chips and pickled onions and peppers - finger-licking goodSweet corn spoon spread - this was pretty meh. Didnt like the texture and the taste fell flat. Tiradito - super fresh, light and paired perfectly with the ripe avocado and the popcorn and hominy added such a different and unexpected touch and flavor. Genius dish!Scallops & pork belly - this was unexpectedly rich with the most perfectly seared scallops, which are my favorites. It has amazing Asian flare with the pok choy and rich soy sauce. Caviar deviled eggs - they were good but nothing to write home about. The following day for brunch, we had the smoked fish dip (yes, again lol). My wife ordered the fish sandwich. Wish I could share if it was good but judging by how she devoured it and I didn't even get to sniff it, I would say it was damn good, lol. I ordered a sort of crab french toast. Now hear me out - it was BANGIN'! I wasnt sure what to expect but the sweetness of the bread caught me off guard and the richness of the béchamel sauce was INSANE. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what the name of the dish is and even worse, cannot find it listed on the brunch menu. I promise, however, it is there, and it is definitely enough of a portion to share with two people.Beyond the food being absolutely delicious this place is so chill and vibe. Is Poppin and the staff seems really chill and down to earth. You arent rushed by any means so it's a great place to graze over multiple dishes and chat with your friends and family. All in all, a spot I definitely plan to return to again, and again when I am in Miami Beach. Enjoy!"
"Not a bad place to get a morning breakfast or pastry and coffee. On the weekends this place is bustling with active patrons hanging out on the patio taking in the South Florida air.The service here is typical Miami, kind of spotty but overall not horrible. The pastries as well are not bad at all either. I have tried the cream filled croissant to the raisin roll to the deconstructed ferro rache. I would take the raisin roll any day of the week!Side note the salmon eggs really are salmon cooked with scrambled eggs. We thought it was actually going to be raw smoked salmon."
"Nice place for a meal. Friendly, attentive service personnel. Food was cooked just right, I had the weekly, Thursday night special T-bone steak. It was delicious. Followed by a very large piece of chocolate cake. Lots of happy people at the bar and great air conditioning!"
"What a wonderful and beautiful meal. I heard carbone was somewhat overhyped so I was expecting a lot of smoke and mirrors, but the service and food really lived up to its reputation. We started out with the beef carpaccio and it was definitely the best carpaccio I have ever tasted. No lie.The spicy rigatoni and orchetti were both phenomenal, creamy and delish plus the pasta was so pillowy and melt in your mouth perfection. Even the bread basket was over the top delicious. We ended the night with lemon cheesecake and a decadent brownie.I can't wait to dine at Carbone again! Cheers to the chef and staff for making our experience unforgettable."
"Oliver's Bistro is a gem nestled in the heart of Miami Beach, exuding cozy corner bistro vibes that instantly transport you to a quaint European café. From the moment you step inside, the inviting atmosphere creates the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The lobster ravioli starter is an absolute must-try, boasting ample portions perfect for sharing between two people. Each bite bursts with flavor, showcasing the chef's skill. We also ordered the bruschetta which is a twist on the original recipe adding diced red onions and balsamic, vinaigrette elevating this classic appetizer to new heights. Both starters are so good! While the steak salad is tasty with its juicy meat and fresh ingredients, I recommend ordering the dressing on the side to avoid it overwhelming the dish. The shrimp curry with basmati rice may have looked more appealing than it tasted, but the diverse menu ensures there's something for every palate. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, attentive service, and reasonable prices (in Miami Beach), making Oliver's Cafe a true local gem!Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner for two or a cozy gathering with friends, Oliver's Bistro promises an unforgettable dining experience that exceeds expectations. I highly recommend this charming eatery to anyone looking for delicious cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere."
"Staying in Downtown Miami, there's one thing that's clear. It's a city that is spectacular when you can see it from a restaurant with a view like this one. On the 16th floor of the Kimpton Epic Hotel, Area 31 is stunning on its own just for the location. Walking into it, you are already impressed by its chic modern interior. Floor to ceiling windows showcase the towering lit up high rises that surround you. It's only when you walk out onto the terrace that you get the full scope of how grand the view really is. Look down and you'll see the waterways that are lined with million dollar yachts. Don't forget to wave at them as they go by.For the views alone, this place is 5 stars. For the food and service, this is where it lacks.. Our server Danilo was a smooth talker- well versed and knew the menu to sell us on the best stuff. But when it came to coming in to do follow ups to answer our questions about individual dishes, it was apparent that they were under staffed. Had it not been for the gal that was refilling our waters, we would not have been able to track Danilo down. Here's the breakdown: *Parmesan & Herb Crusted Scallops $35.00: creamy sweet corn purée, tomato charred corn relish, herb oil-- The scallops were super tender, sautéed perfectly with a nice crunch on the tops of them. Loved these. *East Coast Oysters $40.00: champagne mignonette, lemon wedge: If you love oysters, these are a must as they were fresh and melted on your tongue. Add in the tiny spoonful of champagne mignonette and these were amazing.*Lobster Mac $20.00: orecchiette pasta, smoked gouda cheese, fresh maine lobster, herbed panko-- Hands down probably the best Lobster Mac I've ever tried. The smoked gouda cheese sauce melted on the pasta was creamy and complimented the tender chunks of fresh lobster meat. Herbed panko was chef's kiss here as it gave it the crunchiness that was so good.*Surf and Turf (Market Price): Whole Main Lobster, Filet Mignon and whipped mashed potatoes: Filet Mignon was exactly how I imagined some good quality steak should taste. Slightly rare, seared nicely on the outside, juicy and tender + marinated just right so there was no need for any extra salt or pepper. *Side of mashed potatoes: Have you ever tried mashed potatoes that don't taste like mashed potatoes anymore because they've been over whipped? That is the only way to describe these-- as if there was too much cream that was poured in and the potatoes got lost in the mixture. The Lobster (which was supposed to be the star) was also where we ran into some issues. I'm not sure if this was just a bad one but it had a "chalky" taste that didn't sit quite right with us. When we mentioned it to our server Danilo, he apologized and said he would go talk to someone yet no one ever approached us to address the situation. We had to flag down our water gal and she went to go talk to our Danilo again. By this time, the food had gotten *cold* and the rest of the lobster left untouched in its shell. A manager finally came by 10 minutes later and said that this was a rare occurrence for someone to complain about their lobster as they set themselves to high standards when it comes to seafood. She offered to have them make another one but both of us were already stuffed from the meal. We declined the offer and instead just had her clear the table. By the end of our time, the manager told us she would take the "lobster" part of the meal off of the bill but she said that this really never happens. It was almost as if she made us feel like she was doing us a favor by taking it off. Not going to lie, it made me feel a certain type of way because it's not something we would lie about. What's it to her to take off that part of the bill and just apologize and thank us for coming instead? That was my only quip about this spot. Other than that, I would still recommend this spot for a great place just to take pics and enjoy a great view of Downtown Miami."
"We had an outstanding experience at Stubborn Seed for Miami Spice. The three-course menu offered two appetizers, two entrees and two desserts, so my husband and I were able to order one of each and try the entire menu. Additionally, we ordered the Tiger Bread and added the wine pairing (both of which I'd highly recommend). The food was outstanding, and we particularly enjoyed the Handmade Potato Gnocchi & Confit Duck and the Swordfish. The Basque Cheesecake was also so good that we debated ordering a second piece. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fun. Fine dining in a lively, vibrant atmosphere is the way to go. We will definitely be back to try their traditional tasting menu this year."
"Such a relaxed and comfortable place to eat. I went on a rainy day for lunch and it had the great service and all the right dishes for the ooey gooey, crunchy, juicy, crispy cravings. They have cocktails for $15-18 and glasses of wine for $12, and a glass of lightly fruited Sauvignon Blanc in a thick walled glass with the lunch was what I needed to ease myself out of the hectic day.The restaurant looks like someone's cabin was modified to hold tables and chairs. They have various trinkets, framed pictures, paintings decorating the walls and corners of the place, giving it that homely feel. It must have been especially noticeable because of the rainy day and the decided day to enjoy company and conversation. We shared the Spicy Brussels sprouts ($10) which was sizable despite being a side dish, plenty to share. The crisp and slight char of the Brussels sprouts was so satisfying with the savory slightly spicy seasoning. I got an Impossible burger ($18) with Swiss cheese (+$2) which was freaking incredible. They charred the edges of the Impossible patty, which I didn't even know was possible, so that I had a nice crunch to the patty with every bite along with the crunch of the potato sticks that were inside, between a fluffy pretzel bun (swoon). It's so hard to find pretzel bun burgers, much less ones I would want to eat, and I found mine here. I would wholeheartedly recommend this burger to any meat eating diner and dare them to find something wrong with it! Especially because the house cut fries that come with the burger are chef's kiss superb. They're superbly crispy but light and not greasy and nicely salted to go with a dip of ketchup. What I liked to see is that they offer a few brunch items on their lunch menu so that you can pretend like it's the weekend if you're having a weekday lunch. They also do not charge different prices for the same dishes during lunch vs. dinner, which I feel is a common practice with restaurants, so I don't feel at a disadvantage if I return for dinner.Service was great despite it being clear that one or two servers only were staffing the floor. We were never waiting or missing items for very long. I left right before happy hour was going to start (4-7 PM), so I'll have to return for it!"
"Doing a new review since I have not been here since 2019. Killian Cafe used to be one of my main to go places for breakfast. I used to absolutely love coming here. Unfortunately, I moved away from the area to NW Ohio years ago for a job opportunity. I was back in Miami on vacation and had to come back.I am glad I did. It was delicious nostalgia. Place is just like I remember it. The place is comfortable and welcoming. The staff is hard working and friendly! The food is delicious!Eating those amazing grits, enjoying the eggs benedict... and god that heavenly Nutella crepe...oh how wonderful it was to experience it again. If I could I would lift this place and take it with me to Ohio. You all who live around here, you guys are lucky! You should come here and enjoy great food and great service! Alas, I had to go and say a regretful goodbye to this place. Hopefully I will be able to swing this way again in the future."
"After an early morning workout on a Saturday, we were looking for a not so busy brunch spot in the area. Thankfully, Noa popped up on our Yelp search & it did not disappoint. Mimosa Pitcher - lovely offering that gave our party of 2 multiple servings. The pink orchid made it a nice elegant touch.Breakfast Sandwich - was extremely fulfilling & had some sweet grilled onions that brought all the flavors together. The egg was exactly the way I requested it - over easy. The Brioche bun was branded with their logo, which made the dish a little more personable.Avocado Toast - I didn't have this, but my friend did & she said it was pretty good. Fried Cheese Bacon Fries - seriously just order this & nothing else! It was so darn good & the fries were hot, fresh & crispy. If I were in the area more often, I would come back & explore other options on their menu!"
"My fiancé and I stopped in here for a quick snack and drink on our way to the event. If you're a sports fan, I HIGHLY recommend this place! There are too many TVs to count, including 4 TVs combined to make one mega screen for the big games. We sat at the bar which has plenty of seating available and quite a few tables, too! I had my traditional Maker's Old Fashioned and my fiancé had a Whisky Sour. Both drinks were good pours and tasted great. We ordered their truffle fries so we had something to nosh on while we sipped our cocktails. Those fries are ridiculously yummy and decent sized portion to be shared with 2-3 people. While we didn't use it, I like that they have a pool table and punching machine in the back for you to play around on. The manager, Ricky, who greeted us was incredibly friendly and polite, as was our bartender. Prices are on par with the area and it's a fun, lively atmosphere. We'll be back and I highly recommend you check it out too!"
"Just tried boia de for the first time. It is located in a shopping center with a coin laundry. Restaurant is small with only 7 indoor tables plus the bar. I would not want to sit outside. One of the oddest Michelin star places I have been to. The waitresses were not very presentable. One of the waitresses had a shirt that was very ripped under the arm. The plates were chipped. We ordered wine and the waitress stepped outside in a bad neighborhood to sample the wine. . That was odd. We tried to sample all the food on the menu and the desserts. They recommended sharing the plates and I must say I was overwhelmed by all the dishes. The salad was incredible. It was crispy and the dressing was incredible. The tartare was delicious. The black spaghetti is a cold dish but it is worth trying. Delicious meal. There was not a single dish we didn't fully enjoy. We loved it all. Tiramisu is called crispy because they make it fresh. They use pavesini cookies to make it!"
"Let's talk about brunch.Let's talk about a spot EVERYone has passed while driving on the palmetto.Let's talk about delicious food at a great price. The 94th Aero Squadron restaurant in South Florida, nestled next to Miami International Airport, is a true gem. On both of my visits, I was met with exceptional food and fantastic service. The dining hall, which hosted a Miami-Dade County awards banquet during one visit, provided an equally remarkable experience with its elegant setting and delectable cuisine. The restaurant's rich aerial culture and military static displays not only add character but also create fantastic photo opportunities. Whether you're there for a meal or a special event, the 94th Aero Squadron offers an unforgettable experience steeped in history and culinary excellence.Do yourself a favor and stop by, you deserve it."
"Dropped in for a late lunch and I had a good time. The game was playing so everyone was tuned into that.We ordered calamari for an appetizer, they were so flavorful and fresh. Our drinks were pretty and tasted good. The hookah we got was made very well and it's free refills on coals which was a plus. I liked the outdoor area because it wasn't too hot out and I love fresh air. Our server was very attentive and friendly during our whole visit. The parking lot is pretty small but it's additional free parking on the other side of the lot. I can imagine this spot gets crowded during happy hour or during major games. I can't wait to come back here!"
"We had dinner reservations last evening at Hillstone at Bal Harbor. We did early shopping and were hungry. We drove up to the valet service rather than spending time looking for a parking spot in the garage on a busy Saturday. The ambiance is upscale casual in a modern glass and wood decor on the second floor. I liked the glass elevator overlooking the Bal Harbor mall with the waterfalls and foliage. We looked at the menu but didn't see very much that appealed to us. It seemed to be more sushi and fish items. Near the bottom of the menu, we saw French Dip Au Jus with fries, and we both ordered it. It was good but not outstanding. Our server was Joseph, and he was friendly and attentive. Our water glasses were not kept full, and we had to ask for water refills. The prices were high but the quality didn't match. Hillstone is part of the Houston restaurant chain, and some of their food items are similar. We always enjoy Houston's. This was our first time at a Hillstone restaurant. Would we come back? Not sure."
"Don't walk RUN to this place! I'm really happy to have walked down the block just to look around and see the changes Miami has made since my last visit and stumble upon eggstaurant, it was after hours so I wasn't able to try it then but I made plans for that morning to make it my business to try this place. The store has hints of pink starting from the outside, and egg decorations throughout, including the lighting decor and you also receive an egg with your order number. First impression of the service the cashier was giving a homeless woman a cup of water so he was already good in my book. My first day here I ordered the turkey sausage egg and cheese which comes with sriracha mayo sauce and the second day I ordered the turkey bacon egg and cheese which comes with a special ketchup sauce and also an order of hash browns. Out of both sandwiches the sausage was my favorite. The brioche bun is fresh and delicious and the eggs are scrambled and made to perfection. My next visit this will be my Miami go to breakfast spot."
"Mostly unchanged in the decades of it's existence, frozen in time, still serving up simple but damn good burgers and well cooked, albeit greasy, fries. However I cannot attest to how good the other menu items are, I pretty much have only had the Keg Burger in the thirty plus years of coming here. It's always a trip back in time as soon as I open the door and step in and hopefully it will stay that way."
"Absolutely loved the vibe in here. Fresh bagels and fresh food, probably with the wait if you're going to dine in, I got the food to go but still worth the wait!"
"Old Tom's Sports Bar is a fun enough bar with a cool ambiance and vibe. The staff is friendly and professional and the drinks were cold and refreshing.Nice enough place and it seemed to have a good following in the neighborhood. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend a visit here."
"10-22-227:30 pm reservation Open TableHubby and I let life get in the way and were way over due for a date night. So on Friday morning I suggested he plan. Unfortunately we both ran out of time and we found our selves going through Yelp at the 11th hour and hungry. We quickly realized with the Boat Show only days away and weather getting nice outside it is the beginning of season. So even bad restaurants we couldn't find a reservation. Than while on Open Table I found this gem. OMG why can we get in must be a trick did someone die here? So menu and photos looked good so we booked a table. The address I couldn't quite place it until we arrived oh it's at the JW Marriott in Turnberry Isle where Bourbon Steak is. Once inside I had to ask but this restaurant is all the way to the back of the property can you say on the golf course. So there was two hostesses at the desk we said outside the first girl said NO. The second said let me see. Than found us the most perfect table in the World away from the other diners tables generously spaced. The table had a thing that was lite on other peoples tables so I fiddled with it until the light came on. We started with a drink myself a glass of Sauvignon Blanc note very generous pour sorry forgot photo and hubby his favorite Hendricks and tonic. We had waters with fresh slices of lemon as well. To start fresh smashed Avocado to share. The chips were seasoned perfectly very fresh. For main course I have the snapper and hubby the Creekstone Prime cut Filet 8 oz. Well other than stealing some of hubby's potatoes I can't speak to his meal that disappeared but mine was perfect. For dessert the Brown Butter Cake with pistachio ice cream was perfect as well. So what did I learn from this experience the best food is at the JW Marriott and tourists are lucky to be staying here as it showcases some of the best restaurants of South Florida. The waiter will get your ticket stamped for $ 10. valet instead of $30. Will definitely return here wonderful memorable date night with hubby."
"The good:This was an amazing lunch! I would definitely want to come back. I was hesitant with the reviews but this place easily deserves 5 stars. We got the pork picanha platter with 3 sides. The price was great! It was a lot of bang for your buck. You had choices of sauces to go with the platter. I chose the Brazilian vinaigrette. It was confusing because the description said that it came with two pre-determined sides (Rice and beans) and that we'd choose the 3rd side but we were able to choose all 3. I got farofa (toasted casava flour) and salpicao (raisin salad?) as sides. It was my 1st time trying farofa and it will not be my last. It was so delicious and interesting. It reminded me of the Vietnamese xoi bap (corn sticky rice). The raisin salad was also delicious. It tasted healthy but sweet. We also tried the pineapple soda and açaí bowl with coconut flakes and honey drizzle. The açaí bowl had tons of fruit and the texture was great. It didn't melt quickly. You can place an order ahead online. The bad:They don't honor the Yelp check-in offer for free chocolate dessert balls anymore even though the check-in is still there. The pineapple soda was too sweet. They had a sugar free option however. The interesting:The inside says "Giraffas" but the outside sign says "Giralda's.""
