"Of all places I have met Owner / Chef Benoit several times in Reno at Belleville. So on a recent pass through Miami I made it a point to stop here to eat. What a great bonus to discover he served brunch on the weekends, so Saturday morning I ventured up to the Hialeah area. I was greeted promptly and offered a seat, which I requested on the small patio out front. It was a gorgeous sunny morning and I wasn't going to was any of it.The brunch menu was fabulous, if I hadn't already had my heart set on a croque madam, it would have been a difficult decision. The fresh bread was layered with thin slices of ham and gruyere cheese and perfectly grilled, then blanketed with a silky gruyere cheese sauce and topped with a farm fresh soft egg. The bonus to sandwich were the duck confit potatoes. Mmmm. Accompanied by a fresh guava mimosa. How much better could the day start than all of this. The staff was fantastic- refilling water, offering another mimosa and clearing the table while I just enjoyed the morning.I can't wait to stop in again on my next pass through Miami. The evening menu looked just as delicious.Great hidden gem"

"I will go with a low 5 star for this place. I had a Healthy sandwich which has roasted turkey with smoked cheddar mustard and greens. I also had fries and French onion soup. The fries were so tasty and crispy. The French onion was good but not my favorite. The turkey sandwich was really good. I liked the flavor of the turkey a lot.You order at the counter and then take a number and they bring the food to your table. It has a pleasant environment here. I had a Napoleon which was delicious I only tried his dessert and that tasted good. I did not want to sample his meal but he liked it and he also liked his French onion soup.I was surprised with this Symphony cake at my home. Now this is awesome!! It is so light. In fact, there is no actual cake. It is chocolate mousse and I believe canolli cream? If not cannoli cream, then it tastes just like it. It also had some chocolate pieces to it. Really creative and I am not a huge chocolate fan. This cake serves 6 people. May I suggest for just about $7 more you can order the same cake that serves 10 soon to be happy people. This is a great place and they just opened a new location in Pembroke Pines near me. I will be going again."
"Absolutely amazing amazing food. What a great spot. The service is great - they started us off with a complimentary glass of champagne which as a very nice inviting touch. We ordered a few appetizers and everything was great. The portions were very big! For entrees we ordered the rack of lamb and chicken fricasé. Both entrees were insanely good. The chicken fricasé has been on my mind since!"
"5 star service! So friendly! Can't believe I hadn't been here before! There are so many good spots on 2nd ave too but the prices here are really good for lunch! Soup and half sandwich (looked more like a full sandwich portion) for only $11. I couldn't believe it. The soup portion was also a large bowl. Other french fare spots would have charged me double and given me a cup of soup! I will definitely be back for the french onion soup and the other soup specials with a sandwich again. Place is also very quite and good for co-working. Pet-friendly too! :)"
"The cutest lil French bakery in Miami!Came here early morning Sunday to start the morning with some baked goods and there was already a line outside the door before 8am. Apparently this bakery has been here for years and is a local favorite. The line moved pretty fast and when we came inside, we were welcome by the clean environment. They have menus displayed on their TVs on either side, to the left, an array of sandwiches and what looked to be like lunch options available and to the right was their drink menu. The cases in the front were beautiful and made it hard to choose what baked goods we wanted. The left had dessert items which we had to get an eclair and fruit tart. To the right were their croissants, breads, meat pies, and more! We ended up getting some ham and cheese croissants, turkey and cheese croissants, almond croissants, and a spinach quiche. I also got a decaf mocha iced latte and it was the first latte I've been able to finish in over a year with my extreme caffeine intolerance. I know I got decaf but sometimes decaf still negatively affects me and this one was actually so good and didn't give me any bad effects. I'm excited for my next visit just for their decaf mocha alone because I miss coffee. When all our pastries were ready (we got to-go), we decided to eat some of it outside because there was seating available. There are only a few tables but glad we got to eat them there because the style of seating definitely reminded me of Paris and how close those tables were together in the intimate setting where you could chat with other patrons. The pastries were so good and although not quite the same as Paris, it was close enough. Such a great hidden gem for French baked goods!"
"This is a really quaint restaurant. We chatted with the owner and later on his wife. Their son works behind the bar. I love that it is family run.I ordered a few oysters to start. They were delicious and the sauces were excellent. I also ordered the French onion soup. This is a real French onion soup. I liked it but I prefer the Americanized version I am used to.I sampled the goat cheese salad and it was excellent. I loved my Beef Bourginion. I was surprised it had penny pasta. I actually had this dish in France and it was incredible. The one here was excellent as well. I do believe the chef and owner is actually from France which is awesome, especially since he is running a French restaurant. The croquettes were different from what I am used to but still good. The lava cake was so delicious. I sampled the Mojoto and enjoyed that. Service was great. This is a nice place to eat that is unexpected and just delicious.Oh yeah, I ordered a loaf of French bread to take home. I took a bite when I got hone to taste it at it's best. I liked it but thought Whole Foods and Fresh Market have just as high quality French bread."
"A North Miami gem of a cafe located in our 'downtown' right next to the museum and police station. Great atmosphere lots of local patrons and families enjoy the outdoor seating spaces. Service was attentively quick and food came out delicious we were there for breakfast and opted for salmon and croissant spinach Benedicts with cappuccino and strawberry ginger lemonade. Looking forward to a return visit soon."
"We started with the almond croissant and apple turnover. The almond croissant wasn't perfumey it was perfect and the apple turnover was jam packed with apples and tasted like butter. We then ordered the vegetable omelet and French toast. The vegetable omelet was very thin with provolone cheese and lots of veggies. The French toast was amazing it was light and fluffy with fresh tart berries and real maple syrup. The best French toast I've ever had. Finally while you're eating they're making bread and pastries right in front of you, it's so entertaining to watch them cranking out food in front of you."

Such a wonderful little restaurant. It doesn't look like much from outside - tiny parking lot in a little shopping center in Hialeah. Inside however you will find an adorable restaurant with great service and excellent food. The decor is cozy and feels old timey french. Staff were very welcoming and were helpful and quick when something went wrong with our order. We had a spinach galette and a brie sandwich. Both were excellent, but the galette was a show stopper. Everything down to the potatoes on the side was wonderful. The price was extremely fair, especially for the quality of the experience. I think it was about $40 for two people with tip. A great value for such a cute place and great food. This might be one of my favorite meals I've had in Miami. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy some brunch here!

Wonderful French Bakery! The food here is delicious and they have so many desserts. They have great breakfast and lunch. They even have wine. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The ambiance in here is very cute, subtle, and it always smells so good inside. Their drinks like cappuccinos and chai lattes are yummy!Their Provence Sandwich is super good and very filling. I would definitely get it again and maybe even try another type! It can be shared with someone as well.

Wow, I lived in Coconut Grove/ Gables area for years and always wondered about this restaurant. I don't know why I never stopped in to try but it only took three years after I moved to try. I only ordered two things but what I ate was so delicious and it makes me sad that I waited so long to try. I was greeted by the staff in a friendly manner, and with a glass of champagne. The inside is smaller and a little tight, has an old school feel. I ordered the escargots and the mussels. Come hungry, food was so good.

Delicious breakfast to go. Cheesy and saucy eggs Benedict with smoked bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the yolks were oozing out once I cut them. The plastic forks and knife were ok to cut through the bread. Very tasty. Very satisfied.

I was very impressed with Semilla. It is a French restaurant with some unique menu items. I ordered a monitor to start. I enjoyed it and thought it was different from others I had in the past. I had a can of Coke that was ice cold.I ordered the goat cheese salad. This was very tasty. The goat cheese had a nice crspiness on the outside. I tasted a croquetta and enjoyed this. It was also different from what I have had in the past. My filet mignon was very good. The potatoes were flavorful. I also had some zucchini and asparagus. We ordered lava cake for dessert. This was excellent, served warm. The ice cream elwas delicious and I am a chocolate ice cream person. There are not many tables inside here. There are a few outside. You really need to make reservations unless you don't mind sitting at the bar. In that case, there are many seats. Our server was very good.

I love this place. I work close and my coworkers wanted to grab lunch. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice atmosphere. Some of us had sandwiches. We were all happy with our choices. I wish they serve homemade french fries or something instead. Two of my friends had soup and they were impressed with the soup too. That would be my choice for the next visit. We shared the sangria that came with a bit of a strange flavor. But the owner remade it which improved the flavor. The service was friendly.

"10/10 restaurant!!! From start to finish , the waiter was very personable he offered great suggestions & everything was delicious. We started with the flat bread & then had the oysters those were extremely fresh & tasty. The presentation of the drink with the passion fruit lit on fire blew me away but the steak was truly the star of the show & then we got it topped with crab meat. DELICIOUS!! For dessert we had the creme brûlée. We will definitely be back !!"
"Went to Pascals for the first time. I been there for business but as a dinner this was my first time . Our server was great he was older nice gent very calm and attentive. So our appetizers and initial amuse bush w champagne went great. The food was amazing. The four course meal didn't disappoint. Drinks after dinner and the restaurant's conversation was so good . It was my wife's birthday so they wrote it on her dessert dish!Nice decor in the restaurant and of course a Gables stable. Thank you for the whole staff for making it a special birthday. Pascals is awesome and a true five star experience a rare one in our times!"
"I haven't been here in a long time because I always forget their hours and always come when they're closed or on vacation. I was lucky enough to grab a quick lunch before closing this week and I ordered the soup and sandwich combo. The service here is what keeps me coming back to be honest, the staff is so warm and kind. I also ended my lunch perfectly with a nice cappuccino and eclair. I want to come back to buy one of their cakes for an event because they look so good and are so popular! Everyone was picking up/ordering them when I dined."
"When I think back to a trip to Paris, one of the things I miss was an authentic creperie. Not just those crepes with Nutella you can get at the fair (though they have those too and they're far better than the fair variety). I'm talking savory crepes with buckwheat and great fillings. Have you ever had a chicken Caesar crepe? This one was great. Fresh ingredients. They had lots more French food on the menu too which we enjoyed. Topped it off with a nice iced latte. Inside is small but quaint and we were served quickly. All in all, a true hidden gem. Loved it."
"Came here on separate occasions for breakfast and dinner. Croissant and coffee was good. For dinner the complimentary bread was warm and fresh. Had the spinach soup, pasta, and shrimp which was decent. It's a small cafe with outdoor and indoor seating."
"Had a romantic Valentine's Day dinner at Pied A Terre. They had a special Prix Fixe menu and we also enjoyed a beautiful bottle of French wine.QualityAs so many places do, Pied A Terre created a Prix Fixe menu for Valentine's Day. And while the food on it was delicious, I believe it did not quite capture the full potential of the restaurant. The meal began with a glass of Champagne, a nice touch to welcome each diner to a romantic evening. This was followed by an amuse bouche, a small scoop of Ceviche. Not what I expected of a French restaurant, but a tasty bite nonetheless. For our appetizers we ordered the Warm Duck & Fresh Wild Mushroom Consomme, Ravioles Of Foie Gras and the Lobster Daikon Purse. The consomme was excellent with the broth steeped in rich and deep flavor and the raviolis were delicate and delicious. The lobster was well prepared with a nice profile and fresh flavor. For entrees we had the Steamed Squab And Foie Gras Wrapped In Savoy Cabbage and Short Ribs Marinated In Burgundy Wine And Slowly Cooked. The squab and foie gras was the best bite of the night by far. The decadent foie gras served next to the tender and moist bird was amazing. The short ribs were excellent as well, and happened to be the only substantial dish of the evening. Extremely soft and with a tremendous aroma, they came atop soft mashed potatoes. Then for dessert we had the Floating Island Pied A Terre and the Chocolate Tart. Both showcased amazing presentation, but it was the richness of the Chocolate Tart served alongside the unique griotte cherry sorbet that won me over. And while the food was delicious, it was the wine that makes Pied A Terre special. Recognized by Wine Spectator since they first opened their doors, the extensive list of wines is unbelievably impressive. The wine consultant helped us select an excellent wine to pair with our meal, that left us both very satisfied. My only real complaint for the quality was the handcuffs that prevented further exploration of the menu, the foie gras tasting in particular.QuantityOn Valentine's Day the only option was to order from the prix fixe menu. However, I did not feel it was near enough food and without the ability to add on, I ended up leaving the restaurant still hungry. Considering the price tag, that should not have been the case. ValueThere is no question regarding the high quality of the food, but I still felt like the price for this prix fixe menu was excessive. The fact that it was Valentine's Day likely played a part, as did the glass of champagne that came with the meal. I just feel like I would have enjoyed my experience more without the restrictions of the menu. I must note however, that the wine list is extremely reasonable, with high quality wines at every price point.AmbiancePied A Terre is located in the Cadet Hotel, a boutique hotel on Miami Beach. The restaurant is found on the second floor of the hotel, but I believe they also have seating in the outdoor patio area. When you arrive you are greeted by a lovely pianist playing a mix of classics and familiar pop tunes. A waiter will then lead you up the stairs to the intimate dining room. With around twenty total seats, the small area allows for a personal touch. The decor is simple, yet elegant, and the music from the lobby carries up to the restaurant. The set up is a bit awkward as the tables are quite close together, but somehow you still feel a sense of privacy. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic evening.CrowdPied A Terre has garnered a reputation for being one of the most romantic restaurants in Miami. As such, it was no shock to find it booked up with couples on Valentine's Day. The restaurant itself is a very small space, so expect an intimate dining experience. This is also one of the few places I have been in Miami where dressing up is basically expected.ServiceAt some moments I felt like the service was extraordinary, with careful attention and detailed explanations of the food and wine. However, there were also extended periods where I felt that they forgot we were even at the restaurant. The highlight of the service was the wine consultant who was no nonsense and helped us select the perfect companion to our meal. He also proudly spoke of the foie gras tasting, which I would have loved to try, had it been made available.ParkingSurprisingly they do not have valet set up at the hotel or restaurant. Limited street parking can be found or if you do not mind a short walk, there is a large parking deck three blocks west.ExtraIn the end my bigger issue really is probably with the shortsighted tradition of prix fixe menus on Valentine's Day. The food and the wine at Pied A Terre both proved excellent, but the extra high prices and limited offerings left me disappointed and quite frankly hungry. I feel another visit is very much in order to truly get a sense of what Pied A Terre can do."
"A group of ten of us arrived for a special occasion. I have to admit that part of the appeal for the event planners was a bit of spending damage control, as there is an option to select a 3-course meal for $48. Not everyone stuck to the plan, of course, but it helped overall from rash over-ordering, TwoChefs is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, so was convenient for all. You walk right into the bar area. The bartender was quick to serve and very pleasant to our group, starting the evening off right. We eventually made it overnto our table. The decor wasn't particularly special, but the white tablecloths amped up the overall ambiance. There was not a single complaint from anyone! At the end of the night. Special mentions went to the crab cake appetizer, which was an upcharge from the special--even the two from Maryland gave their stamp of approval. Several got the baked onion soup which was deliciously cheesy, and the classic Caesar salad was a pleaser. For the mains, the sautéed shrimp fettuccine got the most hits. The shrimp were large and tender. The seared tuna was several with a flavorful couscous and the sun dried tomatoes gave it the perfect touch. Two got the mixed Asopao and declared it a hit. The chicken beast with bacon, onion and feta normally comes with fingerling potatoes, but our Keto girl was able to swap them out for fresh vegetables and she was very happy. I personally had the Two Chefs meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I am just now noting that I didn't see any black bean BBQ, and the dish came with asparagus, which is isn't noted on the menu. Despite this glitch, the meal was truly comfort food at its best. I noticed so many of the group complimenting the food to the waiter as he cleared away plates. The only "just okay" dish was my husbands NY strip, which had a $15 upcharge on the 3-course special. His advise was go to a steakhouse for steak. Anyway, every single one of us got a Grand Mariner, Chocolate, or Pistachio soufflé with crème anglaise. They were an awesome perfection. It's not often that you can truly please everyone in a large group, but I'm rating Two Chefs with 5 stars because the chefs accomplished the task with praise."
"We went for lunch special which was a great deal and delicious meal. The lunch special runs on Saturday which is very nice and unique. I had flank steak medium rare and wife had sea bass. Both dishes were great."
"Was on our way to grab wine in Miracle Mile and stumbled upon what now happens to be one of my favorite Jazz bars in Miami. There weren't any spots available but Alfred Santamaria escorted us to 2 seats at the bar and our night was extravagant. Let me start with the decor and the overall ambiance. I absolutely loved the way the shape of the jazz house was in accordance to a regular shop on Miracle Mile except the jazz band was the display. Definitely attracts customers and definitely attracted me.There are chandeliers over every table, beautiful lighting, there is an entire shelf wall filled with items that outline jazz culture and just pretty pieces of all sorts of things that adds to the decor. The music.Incredible. The entire band played so well together and got the crowd to sing and dance throughout the night. And mind you, this was a Wednesday night. I can't imagine a weekend. It may have been the wine but I can't recall the name of the saxophonist, but he was amazing. He took song recommendations from the crowd and played for different tables which made the experience more personal. The story of how he ended up playing at Armstrong Jazz House makes his talent even more admirable. Drinks and DessertThe champagne and wine were great. There was an off the menu Prosecco they were testing that I loved.Ended the night with a Tres Leches and were strongly advised by Alfred to have tea with the dessert to give an aromatic experience when combined with the dessert's sweetness.Turns out, I will be incorporating that into my daily dessert dosage now.The serviceSome of the best service I've experienced at a bar/jazz house.Nobody was too busy to help or check on you, despite the place being packed.Sitting at the bar is not my favorite but The bartender was very attentive and sweet and had an elegance to him that made me respect the bar and the overall place. The service and treatment was the same all throughout, whether you were sitting at a table, at the window seat, or at the bar.A truly respectable place.Definitely aligns with the true character of a Jazz House.I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place."
"Tablé has such a refreshing ambiance with the option of outdoor seating similar to a sidewalk café moment! The service is incredible and the fried chicken sandwhich was amazing! I love that the bread is made in house along with all of the desserts. The lamb meatballs is a must order for an appetizer. It is so juicy with a great amount of flavor. The Eau D Fleur was the best cocktail! It's sweet and unique. I cannot wait to come back."
"In the former Quiznos spot. They are trying to boost the common sub up to a classier level. The decor is nice and wait staff is friendly.Their vegetarian sub is quite good. The large is pretty big, easily enough to feed even the most hungry. You can get most any veggies you want on it with your choice of cheeses on either a white or whole wheat bun.A great lunchtime find."
"This NYC born & bread (haha, see what I did there) bakery, coffee shop, and restaurant has taken Miami by storm and I'm here for it! After visiting the Wynwood location with my work bestie a few months back to remote work, I knew I had to visit this location when I was in the area after seeing it pop up on Yelp! Parking for this location is similar to anywhere in Miami, metered parking right out front if you're lucky -in this case, I was! It's easy to spot and a beautiful space to walk into. I am absolutely enamored by the decor, color scheme, and elegance this place gives off. We were warmly greeted by the staff when walking in and they let us take our time as we perused the pastry case (which had so many goodies to choose from). The two girls up front were so helpful (wish I caught their names) and I could tell one was training the other; she was so helpful and patient with both us and the trainee. Good service is always noted when experiencing a business and it was exceptional here! Now onto what we ordered- pistachio chocolate croissant (my absolute fav ever), nutty chocolate chip cookie, strawberry & cream beachball, kouign maman, and the cheddar scallion scone. If you know me, I also got the iced matcha latte but this time with honey lavender. Everything was 5 stars! I recommend getting the pastries warmed up as it'll add to the experience and was the only note my partner gave when eating here. The inside is spacious and has so many seats to work from or relax at. Overall, a great location and love that they have multiple now in Miami! If only they were closer to Broward!"
