"I'm one of those people who don't mind going to a low key bar because there's nothing worse than going to a bar where there's tons of 21 year olds causing drama. September's is a small cozy bar tucked away in a low key strip mall here in Mesa. It's your typical blue collar middle class bar where all the neighborhood locals seem to frequent after work looking for that cold beer to help them forget about their long day at the office. There's a couple of pool tables for people to enjoy and the bartender seem to really enjoy being there. If you're the kind of bar fly who enjoys going out but doesn't want all the drama that goes along with all those big name bars then September's is the place for you. It's perfect for the older crowd who just want to have fun without a bunch of College kid drama."

"We were staying nearby and wanted some diner-style home-cooked food. This place was touted to fit that description so we stopped in. They had some tables blocked off for seating to facilitate social distancing, and the staff was wearing masks. It wasn't too busy so it was easy to stay separated from others.My husband ordered the hot turkey open-faced sandwich that came with mashed potatoes and cranberries. He said it tasted very good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with chicken gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans. It came with a side salad (or soup if you choose) and a dinner roll. The steak appeared to be a fresh patty rather than frozen and the mashed potatoes were not the instant kind. The green beans were buttery and tasty. The dinner roll was light and fluffy with a hint of sweetness. The side salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing had yummy chunks in it as I prefer.There was plenty of food in my meal, and I may have overeaten a bit just to finish it all up. This is a good place to stop for a sit-down meal if you are willing to brave the freeway exit semi-truck and car traffic trying to get to the gas station across the street."

"Fantastic service, cool vibe and decent Taco Tuesday special. At 4pm on a Tuesday it was pretty quiet inside and out, with a few after work drinkers at the bar. Inside has fun decor with motorcycle taxidermy , trust me it's worth seeing. I selected the shredded beef tacos on corn tortillas with no beans, only rice as the side. The beef was tender, not stringy and had a nice flavor. Spicy but not deadly. Rice was fine, unremarkable. Tried the frozen margarita since it's hot out. It was strong and limey, but $10. This place, unfortunately, has no happy hour specials. I liked the shady East facing patio with booths. Our server came back so frequently to check on us it was almost comical. Very efficient and effective young man. I look forward to coming back during the evening to hang out at the bar for some cocktails!"

Okay okay, well they also have a bar so if you want a meal that is fresh ready by the very word gets it to you in one drink of your drink, and then you got your food, so hope nice is that fresh food maybe a game on the T.v. or just a nice one after work with some friends or even a meal to just unwind is kind of well, nice with having your favorite to have as your drink with your favorite home cooked meal with family, for they will make your stay very welcome. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and bring so close to well being convenient to get to by well, you can make a day of it, by going for a meal and then go and see all the other place that got to be well lucky to be by Lucky Strikes Bar and Graill"

"Found Lucky Lou's American Grill on Yelp and wanted to give this place a try. And I give it 5 stars and here's why:Wait Time: I came in on a busy Thursday night and I really only had to wait 15 minutes. I am not sure if that can apply to everyday but the speed and efficiency of the staff and the people coming and going was quicker than any other wait time from all the other places I've been to Staff: The staff are really chill and friendly people. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and it really shows as they are checking up on us and making sure it's good. It really gives a great vibe.Atmosphere: The atmosphere is pretty great. It's got a nice comfortable feel where you can hangout with friends or loved ones. Combine that with a good staff and pretty good food, there's not much else you can ask for.Food: I ordered the cheeseburger medium rare and with onion rings with a side of barbecue wings. The cheeseburger was really good, I felt like the onion rings were much better here compared to the other places I've been too, and I have no complaints toward the wings.Sanitation: Usually what prevents the places I review from attaining 5 stars is that there's always something gross, sticky, or something is off that makes the place feel gross. I'm glad to say I did not find anything dirty coming here and sitting down. So they got a good wait time, good staff, a great atmosphere, delicious food, and it's all clean. I had no issues with my experience coming here and it's places that don't give you problems that deserve 5 stars. Would definitely recommend"

"SanTan was a part of my "forgotten " series of breweries that I have had. Thankfully my notes had this brewery and the details with my experience there. To my defense I believe it's related to a phone of mine getting destroyed so tge information about the visit went with that. Well, better late than never I suppose. For SanTan Brewing I had the Epicenter Amber Ale, a refreshing beer to be sure. Flavor features with this beer are malty, sweet and hoppy. The beer is smooth and light in body. A good amber ale to enjoy, that is for sure!"

"We tried this place because of the reviews, unfortunately we did not have a delicious meal. We had musabi, and it was quite delicious. I had chicken fried rice. A bit salty and lacking garlic, but the chicken was horrible. Grisly and chewy thigh meat. My wife had teriyaki chicken with the same horrible chicken thigh meat, full of gristle. The teriyaki sauce on the side however was quite good.To the credit of the server, she was very polite and did a good job keeping water topped off. The chef.....well, sorry, big miss."

"Absolutely love this place!!!It has taken me forever to finally visit the bar. and they did not disappoint. The number one thing I absolutely LOVE about the bar, they serve fresh cut fries. "Hubby and I had brunch here today. It's very newly opened where Matty G's was.We were seated right away. The place is very clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming.Hubby & I both got iced tea. Hubby got the wingdinger breakfast. I got the hash breakfast. Hubby said the hash browns on the bottom were crispy. He said it was bland. The spicy sausage gravy was not spicy at all. He said the only spice to it was the pepper he put on it. He was super irritated that we had 3 kinds of hot sauce on the table, sugar, salt & pepper, but you get ketchup in a small container, and they give you 2 small containers of jam for the toast.I got the hash with hash browns, over medium eggs, and sourdough toast. The hash was very bland. The eggs weren't over medium. The hash browns were crispy and good. The toast was good as well.All in all, there's no reason to go back. We will continue to go to our favorite place, Sunny's Breakfast and Lunch."

"It has been quite a few years since we've been in the area. However, since we were close, we thought we'd give it a try. We had nothing but kudos for this place the last few times we had been there.There were four of us dining. The special was turkey dinner and that's what I ordered. Turkey was definity not processed and delicious. However, I must say I didn't particular care for the stuffing or potatoes. I couldn't put my finger on the stuffing other than saying it was different. The potatoes were mashed but very watered(?) down and the gravy so-so. Needless to say I was disappointed.There were 3 other orders. Another couple orders were cheese omelets and there were no complaints there but also no real hurrah either. The final meal was steak and shrimp and it was done just as ordered.Soup of the day was chicken barley. I felt the broth had no flavor but the other person ordering it thought it was great.The service was friendly and perfect and the atmosphere was very nice. Would we return if in the area again? Definitely."

"This is a restaurant inside the new Omni hotel in Tempe. Everything is brand new, beautifully decorated, and clean. Ambiance is on the nicer, trendy side but can also could be casual. This is my first time dining here but second time visiting this location. Both times, they had really great service. My husband and I went on a Sunday night and we were the only people in the dining room. Not sure if that coincided with the high level of service, but I was impressed regardless. The staff were all younger but they were all very helpful and professional. They were dressed the part and acted the part. They were quick and got us seated right away. Bradley was our server and he was super attentive. He frequently checked in on us, made sure our drinks were full all the time. When we took a break from our food, it's like he could read our body language and came over and moved us into the next phase of dining The food itself was pretty good. You can see that they know what they're doing. I got the oven roasted chicken and it was super moist. I feel like chicken is a good test of a kitchen's culinary skill and this place made good chicken. The skin was salty and slightly crispy. The saltiness was a little extra for me since I'm sensitive to salty food but it was a good balance a more subdued chicken. The gigantic bed of mashed potatoes underneath was also really good. The bed of salad had a light vinaigrette, enough to flavor and not overpower. The mac n cheese had an interesting flavor. Of course it was perfectly creamy and cheesy but also had a light lemon flavor to it. Super subtle. My husband's salad -- He enjoyed it. I took a small bite so not sure if I could speak about it. I loved the tres leches. Really moist and sweet. Had some tangerine bits that helps to balance it. They do have a bar seating area at the entrance. I did have a margarita. That was probably the worst part of the dining experience but didn't bother me enough to effect the rating. I'd try another drink next time. It's on the newer side and I had a great time. I'd love to see how it does over time."

It's just cold bland chicken on top of your grab and go salad.My husband really enjoyed the French dip sandwich - crispy bread and piping hot with the sauce. It is noticeably pricier than a regular location, but well it's an airport so...I'm just glad to have the food options. French dip took maybe 7 min to make, and there wasn't really much line."
