Tina M. "Stopped in to check this place out and ended up staying for dinner. The menu is amazing and hard to resist! We got great service in the bar...the wine list is quite large. The menu has something for everyone! We sampled the Italian Guacamole which is different with the basil and sun dried tomatoes, but very tasty and enough for 4 people for sure. If anything I think they could use to dice the tomatoes to make it easier to eat. The gazpacho with nectarines was an absolutely hit! To finish we had the arugula salad with salmon. Which was perfectly prepared. It's atop of a generous portion of whipped goat cheese with honey. Compliments to the chef and staff. Everything was well done! Another suggestion, display this amazing menu outside. It will definitely draw them in."

The day came for us to meet up, I had made reservations before arriving and was pleasantly surprised to know the table was ready before the time. After everyone was seated, we started off with drink orders, I went with a French 75, a champagne cocktail with empress indigo gin, fresh lemon, simple syrup and a Hennessy float, this was a nice cocktail, a good way to start the meal.I knew before I arrived that I wanted the Onion Soup, it was a traditional onion soup with bubbling six mount aged AOP gruyere cheese. I had been craving French onion soup and this hit the spot, the caramelized onions, the hearty savory broth the croutons covered in melted gruyere cheese, oh so dang good! Glad we gave Zinc a try and look forward to coming back!"

Ben H. "There are not many places in PHX that have an ambiance like Le Ame and the Global Ambassador. Phoenicians are known for always looking for the new hot spot in town, flocking from one trendy restaurant to the next, but I'd argue Le Ame is timeless and will unequivocally be a staple in the valley for years to come. Our evening started with a home run. The tuna carpaccio, in my opinion, is the best thing I've had at Le Ame (two meals). Light, delicate, fresh, this dish had it all. We also tried the French onion soup. I found it to be a little on the salty side, but my lady disagreed and loved it, so clearly subjective. For my main course I ordered a filet, it was perfectly cooked, medium rare, and had a 5 star flavour. The truffle butter was a nice addition as well. For our sides, we shared the sweet potato and Brussel sprouts (which was technically an app). The sweet potato was another highlight of the night. The hot honey and pomegranates in the sweet potato dish enhanced its natural sweetness x 10. An amazing side that I'd order again. I found the brussel sprouts to be decent, but it definitely got overshadowed by the sweet potato's. Profiteroles for dessert. The perfect amount for 2. My review would be incomplete without giving a shoutout to the entire team at Le Ame. They truly went above and beyond and created a memorable night. Gilbert, our server was awesome- funny, personable, attentive. He was great. Thank you again Le Ame. See you soon."

After a short wait- we were walked over to the teppanyaki table. There were three of us, and two separate couples who had already been seated. Our first thought was: "Are they really going to try to fill ALL these seats??"There were about 9 chairs lined up around the table with zero room in between. All the chairs were crammed up against one another- ZERO arm room or space.Thankfully, they decided not to seat anyone else at our table (or no one else was available to seat) and we 86'd the remaining two chairs. Whew. Our server, Seth, was awesome...and fast AF. One minute he's standing next to you taking your drink order- then you blink- AND BAM, he's back with your water. Seth is either an Olympian...or the butler from Mr. Deeds.Anyways, needless to say, Seth definitely was on top of his game.We had the pleasure of getting Chef Jose for our table. I have to emphasize PLEASURE; because he was honestly the best teppanyaki chef I've ever had. No joke.Great energy, super clever, hilarious, and he did the BEST show for all of us! There were a few times he legit had me dying laughing. Such a great time!Aside from Seth providing excellent service (in record time!), Chef Jose would be the reason I would come back to Kasai. The food was delicious and flavorful. Denise M. "Every time we come here, I always tell myself I'm going to get less at the salad bar so that I have room for all the meat. Once again that did not happen. This place has a nice atmosphere with lots of wood and dividers of frosted glass with pictures etched on. There's a bar in the front with seating at the bar and a few tables. There is also a patio outside, but I don't know if that's used. This is a Brazilian steakhouse with a large salad bar. You can pay for just the salad bar, or the salad bar with the all you can eat meat served by "gauchos." When you're seated you receive a wooden block. One side is red one side is green - - if you would like the person serving meat to stop at your table, you make sure the green side is up. If you want them to pass you by you put up the red side. When you are done, you lie the block on its side. The salad bar is really, really good with lots of choices. There is a regular salad with toppings, but there are also a variety of pre-made salads like ceviche, grapes with blue cheese and walnuts, and spicy chicken salad. There is a hot bar to the side. We were there during brunch hours so there were some breakfast items included candy bacon which was delicious. It also had mashed potatoes and beef stroganoff - - I swear this is the best beef stroganoff ever. There are also delicious puffy Brazilian cheese bread. Then while you were at your table, someone comes to your table with different meats on a long skewer. You have it plate with small tongs and he will slice off the amount of meat you want onto your plate. When we were there, there were three people bringing out the meat skewers. While we were there, the gauchos served tri-tip, garlic sirloin, garlic parmesan beef, sausages, bacon-wrapped chicken, sweet and spicy chicken, chicken hearts, glazed ham, and grilled pineapple. Everything is so good, especially when you top it with the chimichurri that's available on the salad bar. I don't know how authentic the food is here, but I do know that I really like it. It's delicious! I always eat way too much here despite my plans to stop before I'm too full. There's never room for dessert, but the dessert tray looks pretty good."

I thought this place would be incredibly delicious, but I was wrong. I ordered the grilled shrimp, which was tough and dry; then, we decided to have the Pomodoro with pasta. Its presentation was terrific; a glass doom surrounded the pasta. I was so excited I couldn't stand it. I placed my fork into this creamy sauce, and to my surprise, it tasted like Chef Boyardee!!!! I was so disappointed and saddened by the taste. You have an Italian restaurant claiming to make authentic Italian cruise, which tastes like that... I posted my bowl to the side and had another drink, and trust me, I had three bites, and every bite got worse than the first. Mushy pasta with thick heavy, oily sauce, no way! I could have made better saice from a can. My husband ordered gnocchi in clam sauce and said it was better the first time he had it. I would go there for happy hour and enjoy the drinks, but be cautious when ordering food. Ask questions before ordering."

Super yummy, just wished they were drenched in more of that great sauce! Shared a truffle cheeseburger which was absolutely divine. Reminded me of a Gordon Ramsey burger we use to crave in Vegas. Only bummer is that the burger is a little pricey and doesn't include a side. We shared a large order of salt & vinegar fries plus got extra truffle sauce to dip them in which was the perfect pairing. Met the GM who was hands on working with staff to get orders out to diners. Learned in speaking with her, this is their second location to open. Original location started in Nashville Tennessee. Definitely a "go to again" place. Everything was cooked to order and the counter girl was pleasant and helpful. After ordering she was actually the person that actually cooked our order. On a good note she washed her hands before cooking our meal.Within 5 or so minutes it was done, smoking hot. Everything was appealing to the eye and she gave us an extra basket to use since we were sharing. Fries home cut and just like Mom used to make. The bread to the sandwich was fresh, soft and amazing. Meat tender. Taste, I wouldn't really call it a Philly. The meat was seasoned literally with a lot of black pepper. Don't get me wrong it was a really good steak sandwich but not really a Philly. Not enough cheese made for a very dry sandwich. Some hot and sweet pepper would have made this a 4 star sandwich. They may offer but we didn't ask.The only negative is it didn't look like the tables had been wiped down after diners left. But in the restaurants defense there was only one person doing it all. When we left there were about 6 other diners that had ordered and there wasn't anyway she could take orders, cook and clean at the same time. We will definitely be visiting Joe's again.
