Ling Long

To start, let me just say this place brought back so many memories when grand ma served her homemade bao and wonton back when I was an elementary kid.The owner is so kind and friendly from the moment we walked in the restaurant. Ling Long is by far the best bao, noodle, and has just enough variety to satisfy your taste. We ordered Wonton Noodle, Pan Fried Bao, Tea Eggs, and all taste so good. The filling of their bao is so authentic, fresh ingredients, and served just the right temperature. Too many good things to say about this place. You gotta try it and you won't be disappointed. Did I mention we ordered more frozen dumplings just so we can taste them for the dinner to come!

Dumplings were a bit plain - the pork inside the dumpling felt like a meatball inside a wrapper rather than a dumpling. Lovely service and the wait was about 20 minsThe pan fried dumpling had too much pork and the pork bun did not have enough pork inside. The deal is impressive however for $11 and you get two meals.Cheers!

The dumplings were very bland and the hot and sour soup was extremely under spiced. The service was great , the restaurant was clean and the art work on the walls was a nice touch. The prices are a bargain but the menu is very limited and there is no chili sauce to be found. I have had better soup and dumplings in Houston I am sure this food appeals to those who don't want any spice in their food.

I've been here a few times and and each time has been better than the last. Yesterday I stopped in after ordering through Yelp for the first time and my order was ready exactly at the expected time! I got the pan fried chicken dumplings (I just realized I've never tried anything else on the menu) and the dumpling was the perfect thickness, packed with seasoned chicken and veggies and pan fried. I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. Pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes and you're good. The service is always great and you never wait long. They have plenty of seating, dramas on the tv and even boba! Definitely recommend! Oh, and there's always artwork on the walls from some very talented local artists!

Will definitely be back for these delicious dumplings!!! Affordable and tasty lunch. The tomato egg drop soup was different for me since I've only ever had regular egg drop, but it had really good flavor.

Small menu consisting of dumplings, pork buns, and 3 different noodle soups with a few side options. There are two combo options, 1 with 10 dumplings and a side and the other with a noodle soup and a side.I've got 10 pan fried chicken dumplings with an egg tomato soup and a half order of pan fried pork bun.Nothing special about the dumplings or pork buns.The best thing about this place is the price for the food.

First time trying their food. Walking in around 6, no one eating in but a brisk takeout service. We ordered 10 pork dumplings, chicken noodle soup, wonton soup, spring roll, Edamame and fried rice. Overall the food is very fresh, homemade and cooked to perfection. Advertised as homemade and nothing in the food would suggest otherwise. The pork dumplings were a good size, large portion of pork and crispy fried bottoms. I would have like a larger portion of soy sauce though. Both soups had the same base, two large broccoli piece and two carrots. The noodles were cooked perfection. There were six wontons and a large portion of chicken (very tender). Spring was a tad over fried, and a bit on the small side, but tasty. Fried rice was not overly salty and not overly greasy - nice side. In all a good meal, quick and we will return...

Looking for good dumplings come out to West Houston to Ling Long, you won't be be disappointed. I've order from here several times. I love the chicken and pork dumplings (you can get a mixture of 10). The wonton soup is good too! The ladies who run the restaurant are always so nice and patient. Always good service. The restaurant is always clean and spacey...a homey space to enjoy lunch or dinner.

I love this place. Dumplings, soups and other sides are not just fantastic but reasonably priced. Be sure to grab some frozen dumplings to enjoy at home too. The owner is super nice and makes it easy to support local business. Highly recommended and check out the artwork on the walls!
