Friends were in the mood for Dim Sum so we came to Dim Sum Box. We arrived at 4pm and the manager let us know happy hour was just starting. He brought us menus, explained ordering, and was just super helpful. We ordered a little bit of everything off the HH menu and the regular menu. Highly recommend the shrimp and pork sho mai and the roasted pork belly. Everything came out quick and fresh and was the perfect portions.

Freshly made, acceptable pricing and great service. Quality of food is top notch. The wait is a little longer but we'll worth it to get freshly made dim sum for sure. Great atmosphere

My family loves this place so much we ate here once a week. Our most favorite is their baked lava bun!!! Everything else is delicious and must try. The price is reasonable. The service is great!!!!

Looking to get dim sum and this was closest in Cypress. The restaurant was clean and had a modern look to it. We walked in, and the folks greeted us reasonably quickly, but it was on Friday before the lunch crowd. It's not your typical DimSum place where they push a steam cart around. You're handed a sheet, and you go to the counter to place the order and pay at that time before receiving your food, which I find it odd. If you want more items, you pay again... and it was a little priceyThe food was good quality; however, I think my wife and I enjoyed the steamed Chinese broccoli and fried cauliflower dish the most. Also, if you're not into seafood like my Wife, the choices were limited.

Dim Sum Box is a modern twist to the traditional dim sum experience. Everything we ordered was pretty delicious and presented nicely. We ordered Shao Mai, BBQ Pork Buns, Mushroom fries (salty, but addicting), Fried Shrimp Ball with Kewpie, and Chicken & Shrimp Dumplings. The service is quick and friendly, but make sure you fill out your order form before you go to the counter to pay. The restaurant makes you feel like you are in the city with all the modern lighting and the cool setup of the place. If you are looking to satisfy your dim sum cravings but don't want to make the trip to Chinatown, stop by here!

Great dim sum place in Katy. Beats having to drive to Chinatown Houston for some dim sum. All the pieces tasted great. Quick service and really clean restaurant.

We enjoyed our time at Dim Sum Box. We visited on a quiet Friday lunch time, and the service was very attentive by the manager. Restaurant was modern and clean. We ordered BBQ Pork Buns, Spicy Sichuan Oil Pork Shrimp Chive Dumplings and the Duck pancakes. Everything was very flavourful. We probably would've likes a bit more BBQ Pork to Bun ratio, the dumplings were huge (bigger than bite sized) and a little harder to eat as a result (but DELISH, so very worth it), and the duck pancakes were really yum. Items took longer to arrive than our experience at other dim sum locations, but I put it down to it being a little quieter and needing to cook everything to order rather than the usual churn of a busy dim sum restaurant / trolley. The flavours were really fresh, so we didn't mind the wait for that trade-off.

KATY, TX 77449 / HONG KONG, DIM SUM / MULTIPLE VISITS / TAKEOUT-The prices are pretty steep.-They sold us old coconut jelly desserts that tasted like it was hanging in the refrigerator for too long absorbing all sorts of funky flavors.-Many of the dim sum dishes were over-steamed, soggy with skin breaking off super easily. They do some dishes better than Tim Ho Wan, so we frequent both places. Hopefully, more dim sum options open up in Katy Asia Town, to keep the quality strong.

After hitting up a few dim sum joints in Asia Town, we checked out this spot. Gotta admit, it's tidy, and the staff are friendly. But when it comes to the street food stall (路肩の屋台) vibe and grub, it's meh. We tried a bit of everything--dumplings, bao, turnip cake, chicken feet, wings, triangle puff--you name it. But honestly, nothing stood out. The dumplings served in those aluminium cups felt like they came straight from a bulk store. And those turnip cakes? They lacked crunch and flavour, and man, they really stuck to your teeth. The triangle puff and wings? Total head-scratchers. And don't even get us started on the chicken feet--they were so salty, it felt like they were pickled for a year! Overall, not itching to come back. We'll stick to the better spots nearby.
