La Tremenda Spanish-Inspired CuisineFor a romantic evening, my girlfriend and I recently dined at La Tremenda, a Spanish-inspired gem that made our date night unforgettable. The ease of finding and booking a reservation through Google was a breeze, setting the tone for a smooth and seamless experience. As we arrived, we were welcomed by soft, dim lighting and the gentle hum of live music, creating an intimate atmosphere perfect for a date night. The menu offers a delightful mix of Spanish flavors, and we started with the Pulpo and Chorizo Rice, a dish bursting with smoky, savory notes, paired with tender octopus that was cooked to perfection. The Chicharrones were crispy, indulgent bites that added the perfect contrast to the softness of the rice. For the main course, we shared a Paella for one, which was rich and flavorful, the saffron-laden rice and fresh seafood making it a standout. The portion was perfect for sharing, and while it was designed for one, it was just enough after the appetizers.Dessert was a real treat - the Basque Cheesecake was creamy with a slightly caramelized crust, a perfect sweet ending to our meal. We paired the food with wine and a refreshing glass of sangria, which complemented the dishes wonderfully. What really set the night apart was the live music, which wasn't overpowering but rather invited us to savor each moment. It added a touch of romance to the evening.

Loved this place. I went here with a friend for Miami spice. They have life music in the weekends it's a total vibe. I had tbe straciatella for an appetizer which was delicious and the seafood paella which were both solid dishes. For desert I had the cheesecake which was a large serving that was very rich. The only issue I had was with the short ribs, the meat was over cooked and I wasn't a fan of the passion fruit barbecue sauce. The service was fantastic everyone was nice. I don't drink alcohol so they were nice enough to make a lemonade for me which wasn't on the menu. The singer they have on Fridays is fantastic

Went there for Miami spice. I will start with the good first. All appetizer we had were absolutely amazing. Straciatella salad was to die for! We almost ordered another one! Octopus, picanha salad and chistorra were all very delicious. No complaints there!!! I think their Miami spice menu was excellent and it even included a glass of prosecco. No additional fee for any of the items. It was generously portioned. Ok now the bad. After the appetizers, everything went downhill. Steak we ordered was cold, dry and hard.(Even the chef admitted it according to the server) We were not asked about the preferred temperature of the steak to begin with. We forgot to mention it too but server almost always asks. So we pointed it out and we were told that "their steak is Always served well-done and that's why she didn't ask", which we found it kind of weird. Coz if that's the case, usually the restaurant would let their customers know and ensure they are okay with it. Also on the menu it says it comes with mushroom and shallot sauce but it didn't. Paella was also mediocre as well. Lamb risotto was decent. The server was friendly at first but she kept disappearing and was not attentive at all. My friend's glass was empty for a while. We waited long time for a check as well. When we finally received the check, it made sense why their service was bare minimum cos the service charge was already included. We probably won't go back to this restaurant any more, which is such a shame coz it started out so good. Their appetiziers were great and their sangria is excellent. Maybe this place is good for drinks and tapas but not full on meal.

We went here for brunch, at 12:30 pm there was a total of six in our party. We all decided to enjoy the Miami spice menu. Our waitress was Gabby she was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious and well cooked. By the time we were leaving, the place was completely full, which is a great sign of good food and great service. This is definitely a place you should visit should you be in the Doral area?

Place is very small, gets very busy so reservations are a must. The ambience is nice I enjoyed the live Spanish music. The food was not the best. The service did take a lil longer than expected and by the time I got my Paella it was stale. I didn't send it back because of the long waits. Would I come back, yes but not on a busy day.

Found this restaurant by a reel on facebook. Had the chicharrones for appetizers crunchy on outside soft inside delicious. My husband had the picana appetizer very tasty. We both ordered paell, loved it! For dessert we had a tres leche, my husband had the cheesecake which was recommended by server, creamy and very delicious. My favorite by far. Restaurant is not very big so it gets full fast so I suggest reservation. Our waiter "Jesus" was friendly, attentive and made lots of suggestions. Will definitely go back again. Oh, best part they have live music.

Went for Miami spice $30 lunch. It was pretty busy at 3pm on a Sunday. We had to flag down a server to get water and menus.... We did not get great service. But once we ordered, food came out quickly. We got a free glass of cava - choice of brut or rose. For the Appetizer we got gambas al ajillo and short rib montaditos. They were both good, especially the short rib. Entrees were the skirt steak (tough meat) and the seafood soup. The highlight was the mashed potatoes from the skirt steak. Dessert selection was chocolate mousse (sweet and delicious) and tiramisu (lacking coffee!! Ladyfingers were dryyyy). We also tried the crema Catalana and I was not a fan. The live music was wonderful though! Judi Lu was singing. Overall, would only go back for the live music.
