La Taberna De San Roman

This is a quaint dining spot with very friendly staff and management. The service was polite and accommodating. We experienced so many flavors, starting with a Spanish omelette appetizer, along with fresh bread and olive oil. The manager then gave us a complimentary cup of a white bean and collard green soup that was rich, creamy, flavorful and packed with homemade warmth. My entree was "Codilla a la Brasa," a pork shank served over thin, sliced potatoes. It was definitely an experience I hope to repeat.

Not good anymore the food is not what it used to be in the times.... the only dish ok from all the tapa dishes were the bacalao croquettes and piquillos everything thing else was low quality , low quantity and expensive they do not have a good selection of wines please do not bother to order camarones al ajillo they were only 5 little frozen shrimps The entertainment show was good

The place was very nicely decorated, the service was great! The Codillo asado was very tasty, the portions are big! The octopus was delicious and well made, it was like butter, not chewy at all! The Cordero asado was not very tasty, it was well cooked, but very little taste; needed salt. Overall it was a very good, well come back with friends.

TL;DR 10/10 would recommendMy partner and I had early dinner there this afternoon and we had an amazing night! We ordered from each of the sections off the menu. It was a date night and we wanted to go all out.Stared out with a cheese and meat platter and the cod croquettes. Then we ordered churrasco with rice and plantains that also came with their amazing potato salad. My partner ordered the sirloin with fries and also had some "Gambas Al ajijo" on the side (garlic shrimp scampi app). We shared a lovely bottle of tempranillo (calto from Ribera del duero) which I would recommend to anyone. And finished the night with a crema catalan and an almond cake plus an expresso to finish off. If I have to say one regret or one issue? I don't have enough stomach to fit everything else I wanted but I guess that's what another visit is for.I have to thank Ramon and his staff for the wonderful service, we came in and ended up staying a few minutes past closing and staff treated us as if the whole place was in full swing. I will absolutely be coming back as well as bringing our families and recommending this place to others.

Run by its owner, Mr. Ramon Peón, this place takes you to the most authentic Spanish food. Don't miss the knuckle and lentil soup. Wines from La Rioja, Duero and refreshing Alvariño wines. 100 points for this place!

Nice find! Stumbled upon this restaurant while in Doral. To our surprise it had live music and delicious lobster croquetas. Visit on a Friday to enjoy the live saxophone!

Visited last night for dinner. The decor is nice, service was good and the flamenco show with 1 guitar player and 1 dancer was entertaining. However, the food was just awful. I had fish and it was a slimy piece of something, can't even call it fish. It tasted old and rotten. My husband had pork and it was so salty he couldn't finish it. The garlic shrimp and sausage appetizers/ tapas were ok but definitely not fresh and the presentation was very poor. I was hoping to like this place but unfortunately I won't be returning.

Good appetizers! Delicious Cordero a la lena! And good wine! Excellent service! Nice and quiet atmosphere on a weekday.

Not only do you have great service and the best authentic Spanish food, but on Saturdays there's a fantastic authentic Flamenco Show.This place is a must!
