Z on 23 Rooftop

The ambiance was DOPE....you have downtown skyscrapers to view and the DJ was on point, plenty of good seating too. Didn't get any food, but the bartenders were on it the nite we went (fri evening) and the drinks were strong and reasonably priced! I hate a weak drink with a high pricetag.Its a cool spot to start , have or end your evening on a date/friends or solo...we lucked out on parking right in front for free. I will def be back.

This place was too busy and is not a romantic place to bring your date unless you like being with the young group. Don't try any services since there wasn't any place to sit. No food.

We were in Houston for a next-day medical appointment on her 21st birthday! I found this rooftop bar close to our hotel and took her out for her first drink. She had a great time! The view is great. The ambiance was so chill. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and friendly towards us & even celebrated her with free birthday shots! This was her first time to ever do anything like this - but hey that's what Aunties are for right!?! She has health conditions and obviously isn't going to be a bar hopping 21yo - but we sure had a fun evening out together!

Nice rooftop bar on top floor of hotel. There's a mix of high top tables & couch seating. The drink menu isn't extensive, but I think there are options for people who like sweet & fruity as well as those that prefer something that packs more of a punch. It would nice to have drink ingredients/descriptions included on the menu. Drinks were a bit pricey, but I think that is standard for hotel bars. On the Saturday afternoon that I was there, only saw one waitress. She was doing her best, but definitely could've used some help. The bartender was not the most friendly so I only had one cocktail.The view was nice, I imagine it would be better at night. Overall it was a nice experience.

A laid back chilled spot to vibe on a first date or a meet up food is good and the bartender knows how to pour them drinks .. mf poured me a glass of water and I fell down on my way to the bathroom nice view aswell

This was such a cute spot to go to! My fiancée and I were trying to get out to a cute place during the middle of the week to celebrate my birthday. It was a Tuesday so we already knew a lot of places weren't going to be open late. I found Z on 23 rooftop via yelp and just decided that we would go here to sit at the bar and enjoy some food and hopefully take some cute pictures outside on the rooftop.When we got here, it was more than what I expected. The vibe on the rooftop was great. The wind really threw me off, but the food distracted me from how windy it was up there. The bar food was really good and very filling with large portions will definitely go back here again as a cute little happy hour spot after work .

Do yourself a favor and go EARLY. Very few tables. Small space in general. Standing room felt awkward. Bartenders seemed annoyed and not too personable.I was appreciative of our server downstairs allowing us to order before last call. We didn't realize what time the kitchen closed - we were there around 10 pm. We ordered promptly. Tipped 25%. Food was VERY salty. The appetizer saved the meal - arancini is spectacular!Overall, it really was OK. We went for the experience. Might be tempted to try again but of course arriving much earlier.
