Wells Fargo Plaza Deli

Tasty breakfast and lunch available all week. But for me, breakfast is my favorite. I especially love their oatmeal. This place offers so many wonderful things for those of that work downtown. Fresh fruit, protein packs, sweets, baked pastries and muffins, popcorn, chips, great selection on drinks. The prices are very reasonable such that I go in 3 times week when I can. The delivery is well maintained, very clean and organized. The owners are always polite and jolly. I enjoy coming here.

Super affordable, no frills deli. Tasty options, wide selection of meals, snacks, and beverages. Service is always friendly and accommodating. My favorite place to get food during the workday.

Absolutely amazing! Started coming here during the pandemic when most other places were shut down. This place has such a great variety that now I find almost no need to go anywhere else. Rarely does a Tuesday go by that I don't stop by for their chicken and dumpling soup. You almost need to eat it with a fork and knife because of the big chunks of chicken. I've also just discovered their chicken parmesan which is one of their Thursday specials. If you can't find something you like here you will have to cook for yourself. All of this and it's run by the nicest family you'll ever meet. Jay and Susie are wonderful and will brighten your day with infectious smiles.

Delicious food, very friendly family, and it's the cheapest food for blocks. I eat most of my lunches from here. Burger is delicious, and try the daily specials!

Happy folks providing good for and customer service. You have to get there before the lunch crowd. They will gobble everything up and you'll get stuck with nothing but a bag of chips.

I can't believe our beloved Wells Fargo Plaza Deli hasn't been on Yelp this entire time!While the downtown Houston tunnels offer a plethora of food options, I often find myself wandering no further than the tunnel lobby of my own office building. The WFPD has been providing hungry patrons delicious grilled sandwiches and daily specials every day for who knows how long. It's a sweet, family-owned establishment run by world's nicest couple--Susan and Jay. Their shop reminds me of a New York bodega, boasting many options of convenience store items. In addition to all the usual chip, cookie, and cracker suspects, you are also welcome to help yourself to their big selection of fresh-cut fruit, veggies, or even deviled eggs!I've at this point now memorized all their daily specials, so I'd might as well share:- Monday: Seafood Basket OR Dumplings & Fried Rice - the fried shrimp stays surprisingly crispy throughout lunchtime, and the dumplings are just so good!- Tuesday: Bulgogi Bowl OR Asian BBQ Chicken - while good, I would have to say that some of the other specials beat this one- Wednesday: Chicken Fried Steak/Chicken (?) - for some reason, I've never really come down on a Wednesday- Thursday: DELICIOUS CHICKEN PARM or lasagna and/or spaghetti - I don't know what it is about this chicken parm...but it's so, so good; I've had it catered for a few office events and people couldn't believe it was from the deli downstairs- Friday: Chicken Teriyaki - this stuff is AWESOMEThey also serve breakfast, and I've found myself wandering in to grab a stack of their homemade pancakes every now and again. If oatmeal is your thing, they've got that covered too! All in all, this family establishment really brightens my workday lunch. They are kind, honest, and genuine people serving awesome home-cooked food (best grilled cheese ever--tastes just like your Mom's!) to working professionals. Even if you work in a neighboring building, stop by! Susan and Jay will take good care of you.

This little deli may be hidden but the food and service definitely stands out. If you're coming down from the escalator or even from the tunnels, look for the shoe shine guys then go left, then once you hit the wall, turn right! They have some of the most affordable prices and the quality is just as good if not better than the chain restaurants. They have daily specials as well as a mini store filled with snacks and drinks, desserts and fruit. My go to is always the soup special. I could live off of Tuesday's chicken and dumpling soup. Full of flavor and filled to the brim, it's the next best thing to my mom's on a cold day. The owners are sweet and service is quick, and they've even added a few tables!

Man this place has been right across the street from my work for 10+ years and I have never even noticed it until a couple months back...crazy. As you pass Adair's coming from the tunnels tucked away behind the escalators past the last bay of elevators in Wells Fargo you will find this deli...very hidden gem. Lots of different food options...sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups. A lot of convenient store type of items as well. Service is very friendly. Thus far the chicken wrap, the club, and the soups are my go to's. Con: some food items seem a bit on the smaller side

Everything is delicious! My favorites are the mushroom swiss burger, bulgogi bowl(real deal), California club, and fish sandwich. Plus it's by far the cheapest for blocks. Oh, and the sausage biscuit and gravy on Thursday and Friday
