Torchy's Tacos

I went to pick up some cakes and was surprised to see a torchys in the same parking lot. I placed an online order and 20 minutes later, went inside to pick up. I ordered a couple of brushfire tacos, with jerk chicken, two Baja shrimp tacos and a chicken fajita taco, a taco bowl with brushfire chicken, and two orders of queso, one with chipotle beef and the other without. Everything was fresh and ready to pick up. Very filling. One thing I must say is make sure you have all of your bags. I almost walked out without the included chips. Another person walked out with the chips as I was about to leave. Got home and my family enjoyed the meal. Everything was correctly made and very filling.

My recent visit to Torchys left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. It seems there was a significant mix-up with my order, resulting in an experience that fell far below expectations.Upon receiving my order, I discovered that it was not what I had requested. Instead of the vegetarian grande burrito I ordered, I received two beef burritos. This alone was disheartening, but what made matters worse was the fact that both burritos were served cold, which rendered them completely unappetizing.Furthermore, despite specifically requesting sour cream on the side, both burritos were smothered in sour cream. Adding insult to injury, it seems that hot sauce was applied, despite my explicit request for it to be omitted. The excessive amount of hot sauce made the burritos completely inedible, unless one has an extraordinary tolerance for extreme spiciness.This disappointing experience is unfortunately not an isolated incident. Every interaction I've had with Torchys since 2023 has been progressively worse. It's evident that there are serious quality control issues at the Vintage store location that urgently need to be addressed.

Walking into the Torchy's I was excited to see the advertisement of the new tacos! The graphic design on the board showing a representation of a video game is pretty cool! Which the tacos were very good! It wasn't to packed today but we did wait in line for awhile. Usually where we check out it was no one standing. They were over near the bar. I wasn't to sure what was going on. The cashier wasn't to friendly either. When it was time to order she didn't call us down we just walked up and asked do we order here. It was kind of confusing. While waiting for food the restaurant was clean but I did have to clean my own table. The food was fresh and the waitress that brought over our food was kind. I really enjoyed the chips and queso today plus the avocado bites. Parking was ok. It is a shared parking lot but it's not to bad. I still always enjoy the vintage location.

Since it was a food truck in Austin I've always loved Torchy's. Trailer Park Trashy is my absolute favorite taco. The queso is awesome. The service here has been hit or miss at this location, though. This particular visit the restaurant was filthy. Many of the tables were not cleaned off and the floor was dirty. Because I love the food so much I'll be back, but it may be awhile.

Hello Yelpers! If you are looking for a quick go to restaurant for Tacos then then this is the place. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Taco and the Shrimp Taco and they both tasted great. I had the Shrimp Taco on the Corn Tortilla and the Jerk Chicken on the flour tortilla. I think I prefer the flour tortilla.I don't have pictures because the food look messy but they were good. I ordered the tacos to go as well. Overall they tasted good and they were reasonably priced as well. $4 and some change.

Torchy's Tacos is a convenient choice for a quick bite, offering a variety of fun tacos and a Queso that strikes a balance between creaminess and a gentle kick of heat. Their Queso is in our families top 5! Although the Vintage Park location has had some recent disappointments due to cleanliness issues, seemingly stemming from the lunch/dinner rush, the quality of their tacos and drinks remains consistently enjoyable. My favorite is the brisket taco, heavy on the brisket, with their avocado sauce. One will definitely fill you up if you get the Queso as a starter. I am such a fan of the passion fruit gin Collins that I now make it at home. Please don't take that off the menu anytime soon!

The green chili queso was awesome.Could have used more flavoring on the barbacoa and the brisket tacos.The fajita chicken taco was a standout of the tacos. The chicken was juicy, tender, and seasoned well.Drinks were good! We got a paloma and a strawberry frozen margarita and both were strong but flavorful.Service was super fast and friendly despite being about an hour from closing time.

Ordered from Uber Eats for myself and coworkers. I was missing a large queso and was so disappointed, as that's the best part! Typically, I would have to go through Uber and they would have to issue a refund. I decided to try the store and spoke with Johnny. I explained the situation and he (without hesitation) said, I'm so sorry that happened. I'm going to take care of you." He preceded to pull up my address and said that he would personally drop off my queso. "I was like wow, that's so kind and awesome of you." I asked him for his full name, so I could give management a compliment about him. He replied that his name was Johnny Flores and he was a GM for the area. I couldn't believe it! How often would a GM drop off a queso to a customer??? Never!!! He was at our office in 15 minutes! We were all shocked that he delivered on his word...even on something as simple as queso. He was so kind and even brought us a some coupons for a complimentary taco! This is the epitome of going above and beyond! Blessings upon you, Mr. Flores! Your generosity today gained several forever customers! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I was skeptical at first because most chain Mexican restaurants are mediocre, at best. This place pleasantly surprised me. I had the Republican taco (had to try it) and the Trailer Park taco. The Republican was sausage and was amazing. I also had the street corn. That was not as good as I expected because the corn was not fresh but frozen. I was expecting corn on the cob. I will definitely be back.

The food was good. I had guac and queso with chips and the trailer park (fried chicken) taco trashy style. The taco stands out because it was tasty and the combination of flavors was freest. The queso was good, but relies too much on chili powder or something similar and the queso is too think for the chips. The chips are generic but at least the good kind lol - not thin and fresh but definitely from a bag. The guac though is still disappointing (tastes like it's made from frozen avocados and peas). Still it's not bad but doable. Overall I'd recommend coming early for lunch (it fills up fast so being early is good here).
