Sumo sushi is an excellent option for this area! As the second AYCE sushi joint I've ever tried, I am so glad to know there's a location so close by. Although I have managed to avoid visiting on Friday nights, I have not once had to wait to be seated or helped. The service has always been fast and so friendly. I have noticed they really ham it up and start striking up conversations right when you're paying (they have the functionality to take your card for payment at your table), so I'm onto their tricks, but honestly, their staff are so charming and attentive, I literally cannot complain. This is NOT a buffet! This is all-you-can-eat sushi, which means they will come to your table, take your order for whatever you want, and bring it out to you in a few minutes as it's ready. If you've never had AYCE sushi, this is a phenomenal place to start, as the seating is comfortable and spacious, immersive, and clean. You can order things from fried rice to yakitori, tempura, to sushi, sashimi, and various rolls. And it's all good. I haven't had one thing I haven't enjoyed except for the shu mai and I really think that's just because I don't like shu mai after trying it for the first time there.Highly recommend their crab rangoons and gyoza - they're next level, but I always get at least two orders of their crab salad. The sumo roll is the bomb! Their fried rice is perfect as well, and their spicy edamame is wonderful. It's all good! Try it for lunch, it's only $20!

TL;DR: At $41 pp incl tax and tip, Sumo Sushi is easily the best AYCE sushi and sashimi in town, and now tied in my book for best AYCE overall alongside Handam BBQ. They are the two restaurants in town that I hope never close. We've been going to Sumo Sushi consistently since I found this place last year, and it has gotten even better. The rice is now good, they no longer waste a ton of cucumber (and time carving cucumber boats), and the rolls have less rice than they used to. Thanks for taking in our feedback, Management! Love it when that happens quickly. This place has been popping, and our party of two had to wait 10 minutes on a Saturday around 5:30pm. A ton of parties happening here, and I know why - the restaurant's nicely decorated, service is excellent, and the food is just that good. On that note - I find it hilarious when people nitpick and wax philosophy on food quality at an AYCE spot. Do that on your reviews of Uchiko and up. Is the food and flavoring on par with Aiko (my fav mid-cost omakase in town) and others? No. Is it good quality fish for a third the price and thrice the quantity? Yes. Would I come here again? Heck yes, again and again, and I do. Here's what we get:- Edamame and avocado salad when we order drinks (should consider their hot sake at $7 next) - Beef tataki... x4 if it's particularly good like it was yesterday - Hibachi shrimp - Seaweed salad - Sweet potato tempura - I wish they would change their batter recipe to make it lighter, but this is still good Sashimi: - 2 Yellowtail- 2 Spicy tuna (I normally like spicy salmon over spicy tuna, but their spicy salmon is bland - could use more salt)- 1 Ika (squid)- 1 SalmonSushi:- 2 Saba (mackerel with vinegar)- Smoked salmon - will try instead the Alaska Roll with less rice - 2 Eel - 1 scallop - 1 Masago (roe)- 1 Tamago (sweet egg) at the end as dessert Rolls: Not a fan of their rolls with crawfish. - Tokyo Roll, my new favorite- Salmon skin roll Hand rolls - always forget this:- Spicy tuna - Tuna - Shrimp tempura - Eel?Will try next:- Kiss of Fire roll - we had ordered this and left without realizing it never came out, ha - Cowboy or Astro roll - Rock 'n Roll, lighter sauce - May ask whether their cold sake is nigori Everyone on the staff is really nice and fast, and the sweet serving robot makes the serving even faster. The cleaning crew is also top notch, making empty plates vanish off the table as soon as their contents have vanished into our tummies. I am not a fan of their ice creams (haven't tried chocolate though) or fried desserts, but I also haven't tried the boba drinks, and they look good in the new menus. Should've gotten a picture. Or better yet, go check it out yourselves!

Let me just say...bang for your buck! This was our first time visiting and we had the AYCE option. Our stomachs are full of nigiri and sashimi! The interior is nice, spaced out, and a great place to go with family/friends. The employees were quick with serving the food, and super nice! It wasn't too loud, so this is a nice date spot too. We will definitely be back!

Pretty good for the price. The rolls were decent. The Cowboy roll and Lobster roll were worth getting. Id recommend getting the sashimi over the nigiri. I felt that the quality was way different. The server Jane was really proactive taking our orders, recommending dishes and checking up on us so often. She did a great job and made the experience better. The vibe the restaurant was quite nice and they even had the robo server deliver our food at times. I would come back! Roughly $32/per rounded up for Weekday dinner is what we paid.

My go to sushi spot!!! Literally the best bang for your buck. All you can eat if I'm not mistaken $20 lunch and $30 dinner. It's anything you can think of from appetizers, soups, rolls. I've had many things off the menu and it's been so good each time. The servers are always attentive, friendly and as quick as they can be (it gets very busy sometimes)Overall the restaurant is very clean and laid back. Me personally if I'm spending $20 or $30 it's still a great deal because I'm eating 3 rolls and a few appetizers by myself. It's easily $50 at any other sushi spot with as much as I order. Definitely worth the money I 100% recommend anyone give this place a try!

Unbeknownst to me, Sumo offers all you can eat Sundays. They do not skimp on portions, either! Their cooked rolls are superior to their raw ones: we tried the Crazy Salmon, Houston, Tokyo, and Kiss of Fire. If you e ever been to Azuma or Soma Sushi, the crazy Irishman lives here at Sumo through their Crazy Salmon. I would argue that the fried quality of the Crazy Salmon gives the Irishman some stiff competition. The all you can eat is $32 and largely unlimited with a robust menu to choose from. And occasionally, a creepy robot will come deliver your food. I'm old school, so I preferred our human waiter to the bot, but an entertaining experience nonetheless. The real winner though was their Pepper Tuna sushi. (Wipes drool away from mouth...). So fresh and delicious. I can't, however, give all the stars. As I said, the raw rolls weren't quite tasty enough to merit it, and the floor was super slippy. It's a spacious restaurant, though, and quite busy on a Sunday afternoon.

Went for the lunch buffet.Decent selection, with a noticeable lack of soft shell crab and sashimi options. I like that they have the pull tab on their milk tea. They have a robot delivering alongside their servers. The food either came out incredibly fast or extremely slow. I noticed the things that came out slower were like the pan fried things. The service was above average. While I can't say the food quality was great (some things I noticed were like overly hard seemingly preprepped food, slight fishnets to the crab, and mushiness of the rice), the overall experience is really good considering the price point.I have to say that their weird penchant for garnishing their food with random leafy greens thrown on with no particular artistic reason really bothered me for some reason lol.I would eat here again...but oh lord that was a lot of rice!

I came here with a large group on a Saturday evening. Service was extremely friendly and they were very present, coming to check in with us at the just the right moments. Food came out very quickly, especially when ordering sashimi. I was impressed by their sashimi. They were thick, fresh slices of fish. My favorite was the salmon sashimi, even though I'm usually a tuna fan. I like the eel a lot too. I just didn't like yellowtail, because the fish was a bit tough. Another highlight were their spider handrolls. It's a large piece of fried crab with sides and just a bit of rice. Usually at these AYCE sushi places they give you a lot of rice, but not here. Even their rolls were packed with protein rather than rice. I was very happy about that. We didn't use their robot, but having real people serve us was great, because they were very quick and kind.Others really enjoyed their green tea ice cream and fried ice cream. I ate too much sushi to eat dessert hahaI'll be back here for sure! For the quality and quantity, the price is right.

Came here during lunch, where the price point is $20 instead of $30 (dinner price). The one downside is that there isn't a sashimi option only Niti sushi however we could've paid for the dinner price during lunch to get sashimi. The food came out fast despite being a pretty full restaurant on Friday afternoon. The flavors tasted well developed the seafood tasted fresh. The yakitori had a great smokiness in the sauce and the barbecue would highly recommend if you like yakitori. This is the second time being there within the last few months.Service is prompt and friendly. Food was delicious. Location has ample parking and pretty clean interior.I would recommend as a sushi buffet and also plan on going back
