We got here about 30 minutes before closing so we did not get to try any food as the kitchen was closed. We got some shots and enjoyed the music. I forgot the dj's name but he was pretty good. This seems like a lowkey spot as there were only three others there on a Friday night. I would visit here again as a pre game option and they also have hookah too.

FuFu was good. Not the best I've had. Beef suya was a 2/5 lacked flavor Jerk chicken wings ... not jerked... tasted like an American that didn't want to spend money on seasoning made it. Won't be backAlso they were out of oxtails... and lamb.

If you are looking for African Caribbean cuisine with no line I definitely suggest Kobams! My husband and I tried Kobmas yesterday! I was very impressed. The restaurant is African Caribbean cuisine. I'm usually skeptical about the service at African restaurants because it's usually subpar but Kobams really out here with the service ! We were the only dine in customers (which is normal for an African restaurant) they have indoor and outdoor seating and an area for a band ( excited for that once corona is "over").Their website is very easy to navigate if you want to order online . Food was hot a freshhhhhhhhh! And authentic we orderedAppetizer : Jerk wings - delicious !!! My husband wanted to order a second round but I was like naw I need space for the main meal Husband meal: ogbono soup , fufu, grilled tilapia his food was pulling hot very fresh and tasted just like my step mom use to make I was so impressed because it's hard to get authentic ogbono soup without just going to someone's house ! My meal: jollof rice, goat meat ,And plantain . Food was also delicious . I devoured it and the goat meat was soft!!! So they cooked it right. Flavors was just popping! Drinks: they give you water in a bottle which I love and they have different sizes for beerGood food , good service , plus a nice atmosphere! Will definitely be back!

This is the second time I come to this place the first time they were quick and the food was great this time they originally said that the wait time was 15 minutes for the food and I decided to order since the wait time wasn't that bad or so I thought it's now been over 45 minutes and they just keep saying that it'll be 15 more minutes if they had told me this originally I would have placed my order ahead or just not stoped by they stated that this was due to them only having one cook.If you don't mind waiting and don't have anything to do after then go ahead and give it a try.update I went in for fufu that's all I wanted and they forgot to put the fufu for my meal overall horrible I spent over $40 and the one thing I really wanted was not even given to me

Fresh, but average. Jerk chicken was not seasoned, nor cooked in spices as I was expecting. Coconut rice was very mildly seasoned, with just a faint hint of coconut. It definitely could have been better.

I have been looking for good African food for all ten years that I've lived here. Growing up I was friends w/ a Nigerian family who made sure I had my fill of their amazing food every time I came to visit. The mom, Uma, cooked every day and I never left disappointed. I've been looking for food that takes me back to that time of my childhood for this long. ...and I've found it. I had okra stew w/ goat meat and fufu. I. Inhaled. Everything. The flavors were perfect. The portions were appropriate. The spice was right. I got goat meat and it could have been more tender, but I ate until I had a stomach ache and I regret nothing. The restaurant was worth my drive and my time and I'll be back soon.

Worst Nigerian restaurant I have ever been. I order their jerk wings from their menu listed price 20 dollars. With coconut rice and 2 sides. Joint payment they wanted to charge me 42 dollars. I asked for breakdown. They now claimed that he price of the food is different in their system and their memo was a "typo". Instead of them to honor the menu price they still demanded thet I pay 42 dollars for jerk wing coconut rice and side of Jamaican patty. I walked out. I do not recommend this restaurant and I hope more people boycott them and shut them down

My first time visiting left my mind blown on how good and tasteful the food was leaving me wanting more. If you ask for spice then SPICE is what you'll get for sure. I can't wait to visit Houston again I'll definitely be back.

Do not go here. They make up prices. We sat down and all of our menus were different with different prices. Food was not even the best. I expected flavor, spice and received dried out fish. Manager is very arrogant. He told me I've never had egusi before which is just ridiculous. They make up prices. We were the only three people in there and the service was still bad. Waitress was very clueless of everything. Please don't waste your time nor your money. $20 meals came out to a $120 tab.
