JCI Grill James Coney Island- Humble

I don't know why this location has a two star rating, good food, super friendly staff, nice clean facility

I don't understand when people do listen to your request.I ordered coneys with no meat - chili and mustard only. I know its a strange request but it what I like and paid for.Why I get my order and it has meat!!!!! Simple request hard to get what I pay for!!!!!

This is not the same James Coney Island of years past. First if all most the menu is considerably more varied. Yes you can still get those small steamed bun coneys. Yes they're still delicious with a little chilly and onion and cheese. However now you have a choice of hamburgers, cheese steaks, brats and a nice dairy dessert menu of milkshakes and ice cream etc. however the best part of the restaurant might be not the menu and certainly would not appreciate it if you go through the drive-through. It is inside where it looks like a classic 1950s style diner large, roomy and comfortable. It is a place where you may linger a while even after the meal. Unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed in all things not coneys. The brats was a bit salty and had almost a metallic taste. True I'm not a great fan of sauerkraut but the brats lack that snap and juiciness that you come to expect from a nicely grilled sausage. The cheesesteak was quite acceptable. Not to be confused from the Philadelphia version but still nice meaty choice. However be forewarned it is small but it is also cheap so get two if you think you really going to have it as a meal.

Used to order here every Sunday on my way home from work. Great hotdogs and quick drive thru service. Employees even remembered me after a while and would ask about me if I missed a week. Love the cheese coneys and the sauerkraut they use for their hotdogs is excellent. Highly recommend.

First of all there's a lot of new people who have joined the Yelp community and feel that they should jump aboard the complaining bunch who get off to writing bad reviews just for kicks. Seriously you gave a one star review because they had no music playing lmfao, how ridiculous and now to your complaint about onion ...... ask for no onions because they do ask before adding it. So silly of these ridiculous people complaining about silly things. The food is great here and anytime I run across a JCI I stop for them. They took away the one near my home in the Willowbrook area so yes when I spot the Gem - JCI I go in for the Classic with a side of Fritos for my chili being I like extra Fritos. Service is great and music plays peacefully... if your concern of music... lol. Cheers

A hot dog is a hot dog: it's almost impossible to make it more than it is, and it's almost impossible to screw up. After that, it's all about customer service and sanitation. The hotdogs were okay. The customer service was...okay, but only marginally. This place loses most of its points because it really needs a good cleaning. I don't think I will return.

Have not been to this location in 30 years. Was in town and had craving . Food was hot and fresh with great customer service . I came in 30 min before closing and was treated excellent. Wanted to give a good review.

I can't give no stars but won't post until you do ugh to this location they are slow and not very customer service friendly. I won't be going to this location in the future. Thanks but no thanks

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I ordered through door dash and it got here at a decent time. But my lord the food is nasty!!! Talked to 4 different " managers" one bing "AJ" about how awful my food was and no one wanted to talk about it they just sat on the phone not know what to say because they still go to high school and they don't teach you managing skills ‍

First impression of the restaurant...Walked in to nothing but the sound of a frier. No music so everything was awkward. It was our first time ordering so it took us some time to look at the menu. Once I fully analyzed the board I realized the prices we're EXTREMELY over priced. I ordered a foot long chili cheese and my brother ordered the sliders. We went to the cash register and the total came around to $23.00 . There we're only 4 combos and everything had unions and mustard. Very disappointed with the quality. We contemplated on asking for a refund but the staff looked irritated so we decided to write a review. At least we know not to go back again.
