Donut Bliss

My family and I did a road trip from Dallas to Houston. We stopped by Donut Bliss for some donuts and the shop was swamped with customers! We bought 4 freshly baked croissants and the owner was super kind, they gave us 3 dozen donut holes in addition for our road trip. This place is underrated! They deserve more recognition and much more reviews! If you are ever on the road and nearby, do yourself a favor and stop by for some awesome donuts! They wont disappoint!

The man who was at the counter, Kevin, was really nice. He made me a egg and cheese croissant sandwich, but charged the same price as the ones with meat, which doesn't make sense. Meat is more expensive than eggs or cheese, so why isn't the sandwich cheaper? I did enjoy my food so that's a plus.

Great tacos and croissant! My husband and I first time customer and very impressed by the variety and great prices.

Don't pass this place up like I did for 6 months before I unwilling drug myself in, out of nothing but pure laziness, because it was close to me at the time. EXCELLENT kolaches, especially the boudin and jalapeño boudin. The glazed donut was the best I've ever had. It was tall with a crispy outer edge and soft chewy center. The glaze is very rich and flavorful. The kolache dough itself was very soft with a nice chew and the boudin was of good quality. Great family run shop, that has knocked my previous favorite donut shop from its pedestal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Everyone...this place is by far one of the best, probably the best in this area!! I prefer this over Shipley's (which I was never a huge fan of.) Their ingredients are proportioned well...a good balance. Fresh and Friendly Staff...Affordable too!! They seem to taste fresh around the clock; however, I prefer cold donuts. I dislike warm...just me

Love this place! Staff is always so nice! Love the kolaches here they are AMAZING!!!. Today we came in and ordered our food and she brought out fresh glazed donuts and we usually don't order them but today we did and boy am I glad I tried these, so good.

I've been here about 3x and I am very glad I found this place near me. The donuts don't leave a weird aftertaste, like other places nearby. Their Kolaches are so delicious and as well taste better than other places. I highly reccomend this place

I was so excited to try this place after the glowing reviews.... But hmmmm, I wasn't as enthusiastic as most reviewers. (I see that most of the reviews are NOT recent and maybe that is the issue?). Over-hyped places seem to be a real norm in Houston for some reason. To me, it was just a very average donut shop. Nothing special. Breakfast taco was dry eggs and some barely cooked potatoes. Not much flavor at all. Donuts are exactly the same as Shipley. Oh ~ and ppl raved about how friendly the staff was???? Guy that served me seemed completely indifferentBest thing is their drinks. They have Thai Tea!! So that's a plus. I won't bother driving back over here tho. And I only live 1.3 miles away.

I'm a Texan and we pride ourselves on BBQ and Kolaches. I have tried so many places and this is by far the best kolache spot I've ever been to. Service is fast, efficient, and I've never felt unwelcome here.

This donut place is so cute, and the staff is really nice. I have a hard time choosing what I want but they are very understanding and never rush. Their boudin kolaches are so delicious!! Highly recommend to anyone. Another plus is that it is so close to home! I will definitely be back for more donuts
