For a fun time out this would be a great place to go. We weren't sure about the area it is located in, it's kind of sketchy but it turned out fine. This is an old bowling alley, lots of lanes, nice seating, old system but it works. The mechanism for the scoring was a bit off, sometimes it registered more or less pins than reality. I like that there were auto bumpers for the people or kids that need that and the pins weren't on strings (that is an annoying new feature at some alleys that I don't care for). The food is typical bowling alley food, the pizza was ok, the jalapeño poppers and fried pickles were good.

We came here for a celebration with the kiddos. Bowling was fun. The margaritas were okay. We ended up giving the bartender detail instructions on how to make our margaritas and it was a little better. The Pac-Man machine took our $20 and the manager only refunded us $11. The air hockey machine took our $1 as well. We didn't complain we just knew not to put our money in anymore games.

We were able to make reservations for an event on Saturday from 6:30 to 8:30pm. We're glad we did because when we came in, there was a wait. With the event, we got 2 lanes for 2 hours, 2 pizzas and 2 starters and unlimited refills on drinks. I thought the pricing was reasonable, about $36 per person (8 of us). It was a fun night. The pizza isn't the best pizza in the world, but was okay for bowling alley food. Service was good. We had someone check in on us and give us refills. Bowling shoes came with the reservation and all the employees were kind. Side note: bathroom was a bit gross...

Had a fun night of sisterly bonding with my sorority sisters for a fun night of bowling. The event was well organized and coordinated with the staff at Del Mar. Our lanes were reserved upon arrival, we were able to grab our shoes and select our bowling ball. Once we began bowling the beverages and food began being served. It was very organized and streamlined. Everyone had a great time. This was a great place to come with a large group. It still had a very intimate feel but didn't feel too crowded. You have a bar area if you want adult beverages as well.

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for this place because of its location. I expected it to be a dilapidated bowling alley and I'm happy to say my expectations were exceeded. The establishment is very clean and they have hand sanitizers everywhere. We had the most fun on a Friday night that we've had in a while. Come before 7pm on a Friday so you don't have to wait for a lane. Optimum cost efficiency would be to bring a group of 6. The restaurant that it's connected to has good deals on food and drinks. We ordered a pitcher of Corona for $20.

I've taken the kid that I have nanny here a few times with some of his friends. We came one time and there was a school event so we had to wait about an hour and a half, but we generally come on weekdays and the place is empty during the school year. The bathrooms are always clean and the food is pretty good.

We had a good time when we went. We had to wait since it was a Saturday night, but nonetheless it was great. The drinks we ordered were subpar esp a lemon drop being extremely sour. That was disappointing to where I had to order sprite to dilute since they didn't have a mango, strawberry, or any type of syrup/puree. Otherwise, we had a good time.

Came here on a Saturday, should've known there would be a wait. Just a heads up, you can call and get on a waitlist. Returned on Sunday instead, they opened at 9a and agent usually busy Sunday morning. For 1 adult and 1 child for 1 hour including shoes was around $43 +change, kinda pricey but I haven't been bowling in awhile so I have nothing to compare prices to. Had our lane set to bumpers for my niece, had to change lanes twice because the bumpers wouldn't pop up properly, such a hassle. Employee there told us she couldn't keep going out to the lane to pull the bumpers up,I would've complained but she offered to restart our hour since we waisted so much time moving and waiting for help. Overall a clean bowling alley, decent if you just want a lil bowling time for fun.

It's been a hot minute since I've been bowling...maybe 10 years? I basically grew up in a bowling alley as a kid cause my parents were in bowling leagues. Mostly played arcades (like The Simpsons game lol) and made friends with other league kids. My dad still is and is up there winning league championships 4x in a row with his team. Am I good? Ehh. Lol. My sister is better. I was a little rusty but went from 106 and improved each game. 151 was my highest game. Could be better with more practice. We tried to go here as planned a few days after the crazy storm/tornado and found that it was closed, especially since this area was hit badly and still had no power. A lot of Centerpoint trucks were parked all over the lot.We paid for 1.5 hours and were gifted an extra hour while in the middle of our games. I happen to know people. I don't really remember what pricing was for bowling cause we usually go to AMF, but this seemed steep. I'm sure the cost would be comparable if divided by a group. There was only two of us, so we got to take our time and fit in 5 games. Short break going to the bar to order drinks. I had the Austin Eastciders pineapple on draft. We took our drinks back to our lane. We didn't try the food since we were going out to dinner after.I love how organized this bowling alley is. There's a closed off bar area for food and drinks, a pro shop, and an arcade area. Restrooms are clean, as well. Bowling balls are organized by weight with the least starting from the left side of the bowling alley. Our lane was glitchy and didn't restart, so we asked to move over to another lane which wasn't an issue. We didn't want to be close to a lane with young teens, no offense. The seating is comfy like booth seating, and the floors are checkered which gave a diner, retro vibe. Much more comfortable than plastic seats at most bowling alleys. I prefer real bowling lanes than synthetic lanes. It was a little distracting when the screens came down that aired the same shows as the TVs and when the lights turned off with colorful lasers flashing on the floor. I follow the lane arrows on where to throw, and I felt like I had to concentrate more. Overall, we had so much fun and will definitely be back especially since this is the closest to us that's a legit bowling alley with great, friendly staff. Coming here was so nostalgic of my childhood.
