"The first time I visited, I walked right out because they only have generic desserts/flavors. I ended up giving Dessert Gallery a chance because I needed a lemon cake for my coworker's birthday. My team consists of 5 individuals, so I was hoping to order a 6 inch luscious lemon cake, but that flavor is only available in the 9 inch size.I arrived to pick up my cake order and was told that they could not find my order even after showing them the email confirmation. At this point I'm mildly panicking because this is obviously part of the big birthday celebration. The other cashier jumped in and was able to successfully look up the order. The original cashier started bagging up the cake, so I asked her to if I could look at the cake to confirm my order and that there was the requested text on the cake. She gave me a dirty look and said "what writing - there's no writing on the cake." Thankfully, the same other cashier from earlier said he was packing up the white chocolate circle with the requested text. Will probably never come back here - too many good bakeries with better offerings and less attitude."

"Great place to stop by after 0800 to get your sweet fix in.They bring all their freshly baked goodies then.The ham and cheese croissant was warmed for me and so crunchy and flaky and the ham and cheese were lovely together.The petite key lime pie is a tasty treat with the crumbly stuff on the outside.Strawberry cupcake was good - fresh chunks of strawberries on the inside, I was just disappointed by how hard the topping was - definitely in the fridge too long and not enough time at room temp.Highly recommended if you are in thennehghborhood. 10 minute parking is available."

"This review focuses on the vegan and Gluten Free options available at Crave, which are plentiful and very well priced.I actually drove out of my way to get the vegan red velvet cupcake. I remembered it having a different taste than what I received today. Additionally, since I am really trying to minimize my gluten and choose vegan options as much as possible, I decided to pick up the vegan and Gluten Free chocolate chip cookie. I have to tell ya- I miss Gluten and chocolate eating this cookie. It just wasn't enough of a replacement for me to be determined that I could go without the real thing without complaints. It just was more cake than cookie consistency for me. I missed the crunch of the cookie with bits of melted chocolate between. bites. But thats just personal preference. The dessert was edible and filling. I'm carb sensitive but this cookie didn't leave me wanting my pillow after eating it, which is a good thing. It just was really sweet for my taste. Like drink a whole bottle of water sweet. That alone is the only real reason I wouldn't suggest this dessert.The vegan red velvet was a little dry. I needed water to devour it. I had to take breaks eating it in fact. It too was not my cup of tea, but for those whose only option is vegan desserts, it's a great replica of the real thing. Again however the frosting is way too thick and sweet for my taste. I believe my experiment with vegan desserts was not a complete fail, but I think I rather eat non vegan cupcakes and cookies in extreme moderation and soothe my sweet tooth whenever possible."

"Eddie, thank you for liking one of my pics. That reminded me I needed to do a review. I am really shocked that I haven't done a review on this place yet. The cupcakes here are exceptionally good.I have had a German chocolate and a few others. These are a great alternative for clients friends families birthdays etc. Everything is pretty fresh and taste really good. Since Eddie like my pic that reminded me about them. I kind of forgot about them unfortunately. I'm not sure why. May because the parking in vintage is kind of tough.Well anyway I went back today and I got the German chocolate Cupcake and it was simply amazing. I would like to go back and try the Oreo and the Italian cream cupcake.I like to support local businesses so if you're in the area do yourself a favor and treat yourself don't cheat yourself."

"How I love Liz let me count the ways!!!I was looking for an amazing baker for my daughters 4th birthday party. I wanted cupcakes and a cake but also something unique. I called many places who came up on Yelp first as well as went to Crave first to check them out. I was not impressed with either and kept searching and that's when I came across Zeapod cakery.I called them and was greeted by Liz and she was so nice as well as immediately assured me she could meet my needs. I saw a pic of the cupcake pops and I knew I had to have them.I asked her for a tasting and she let me know they meaning herself and her husband bake out of their home and they don't have tastings, but I could come by and grab a couple flavors of the cake pops for I believe $3.00 each. I headed straight to her house and met the lovely couple.They welcomed me into their home/bakery which you can smell sweet cakes being made with love before you even enter the establishment. She showed me a cake that they just finished and it was amazing. And then I tasted the cakes, Oh my goodness beyond moist, fresh, and real homemade taste not like most beautiful cakes that taste like crap.I placed my order for 2 dozen cake pops in Vanilla/birthday cake and Strawberry. I also ordered a small cake to go with her Jungle book theme which the flavor was Salted caramel for the adults. What I appreciated she didn't charge me for the two pops that I came to taste since I placed my order that day, what service!We chatted for awhile, I paid and then I was on my way..I ordered custom printed stickers to be put on my daughters cake pops and Liz let me drop them off to her and she added them to each one. I picked up my order right on time and was blown away by their craftsmanship. Their products start with being made and baked with pure love and then decorated with such artistry. The prices are beyond reasonable for the quality you get. I paid a little over $150.00 for everything and it was worth every penny.Do not go anywhere else support this beautiful marriage and amazing business!"

"The name says it all! Oh my goodness! How precious! We got champagne flights! Hector explained each to us. We had a dry flight, a sweet fight, plus a mixed. Very nice! How fun! We also tried several cupcakes. The mini eggs was a delicious chocolate. Everyone loved the strawberry rhubarb and we got a special umbrella with it! The chocolate was amazing with chocolate inside too! Of course we had to try the champagne ones - amazing! You inject the champagne into the cupcake! "Miss Tammy was absolutely amazing. She was hospitable from the beginning. My sister, which is the bride to be, and mother enjoyed it all. We came for a cake tasting for my sister's wedding and she pulled out all the varieties. The sampling consisted of different types of cake, different types of fillings, and the Icing that will be around the cake. When I tell you everything tasted so good? I mean everything tasted so good! It was even hard to make a decision. But you have so many different choices as to how you want to pair your cake with the filling. I will have to say that butter butter pecan was amazing, our absolute favorite ! That is a filling that she provides; and then the cakes were so perfectly moist... I'm not even a cake person and I was so impressed! If you know my review, I have a problem with sometimes taking pictures of the product prior to eating it. It was so delicious. I couldn't even take any pictures, I wish I did. Lol!Her shop was very nice, and clean. She had a variety of wedding designs, as well as her accolades everywhere. She was very professional and not to mention very personable. She was so educated on what she does and aims to please. You can tell that she takes her craft serious. I mean, she said she's been in the business for over 30 years, and it showed!We truly enjoyed our visit, and cannot wait to see the finished results in a few months. Not only did the cake samples taste AMAZING, Candis was a joy to work with and her prices were extremely reasonable. She helped us design a custom groom's cake to celebrate my husband's love of his alma mater. The cakes were there on time and exceeded our expectations. In fact, our cake was so good we couldn't wait an entire year to eat the top - we ate half of it the day after the wedding and then made ourselves freeze two pieces for next year. If we ever need another cake for a celebration, there's no doubt who we will contact."

I was slightly hesitant about going due to some of the recent negative reviews, but we gave it a shot anyway.My son and I are the dessert heads, so we got a few things to try such as the sugar cookies, the banana pudding cupcake, and the turtle brownie. I must add that by the time we got there (after 2pm) they were out of quite a few of the other things we wanted to order such as peach cobbler, oatmeal raisin cookies, and one of the cheesecakes. However, the banana pudding cupcake was DEEELICIOUS! Hate I didn't buy more. It was moist, flavorful and not overwhelmingly sweet- perfect balance. My son immediately began eating his cookies, in which he said he liked. To me, they tasted more like tea cakes, but as long as he was happy. The turtle brownie...err not so much. I was hoping for that ooey gooey brownie that's crunchy on the sides but warm in the center, toppled off with a nice "balance" of chocolate, caramel & pecans - to no avail. This was suuuuper sweet and like overload on the chocolate topping. I had to scraped off quite a bit of the chocolate frosting to get more of the brownie & mix in the pecans because it was so heavily layered on there. Plus, no evidence of the caramel traditionally found in "turtle" flavored desserts. Needless to say I had to eat this in phases, and I only got to two before disposing the rest - it was a bit too rich for me.But, I shall return & give them another shot for more banana pudding cupcakes or other cupcake flavors, and hopefully they'll have some of the other items I missed.Chao!"

Because of the time issue (wanted it sent that day) and I'm 200 miles away, I had to trust they would get it right. Pastel Boutique did not fail. They went over, above and way beyond in their efforts to bake, design, and deliver on extremely short notice, as well as provide outstanding service to both me as well as my sweet nephew and niece and their brand new baby.I so appreciated their continued contact with me via email and telephone in letting me know what they had available as well as when they were delivering. As soon as the cupcakes arrived, my nephew sent me a text of thanks with a photo of the cupcakes. They looked even better than what I had envisioned! He said that when they opened the box the smell was unbelievably enticing!Of course, the ultimate test is in the eating, which they and other family members enjoyed to the fullest.
