"Need a neighborhood Thai restaurant that doesn't break the bank, and has cocktails? This is it. Food quality is solid. Staff is very friendly. Apparently it's a popular place, so make a reservation!I came in for a mini date night, had a reservation, and got seated promptly upon arrival. The parking lot was tight... Luckily we got a spot!If you're looking for a Thai place with an uplifting, happy environment and a cheerful crowd, come over here. As mentioned in my pics I posted to Yelp, I tried the Thai Whiskey flight. Be careful! I can hold my alcohol. But I got lit after downing each of the four shots. (Remember, after each shot take a bite of a lime slice and a few pieces of Tamarind... Then move onto the next shot.)If you take a sip of each whiskey shot, it kinda has a Chinese medicine taste. When you shoot it, it's kinda enjoyable. Pretty crazy, huh?"
"Overall, a pretty decent spot for the area to get lunch. Definitely on the pricier side for what the food really is. The truffle fries app is $14 and the pork belly taco (2) are around the same. Friendly service, plenty of seating - at bar or at a table. Pork belly tacos had a lot of unique flavor throughout and maybe could've been a bit less crunchy but still a good choice. The aioli of course makes the fries, as per usual. But the truffle and parm amount was a solid ratio to fries. A lot of interchanging draft beers as well."
"This new spot in the Montrose Collective is so aesthetic but also so delicious! I came here for a gorls dinner and it did not disappoint. For drinks, I got the Lustre Pearl, which reminded me of piña colada and I wanted to finish the whole thing! We got the roasted oysters to share, and this was so tasty with chipotle butter, parmesan, and breadcrumbs. Also the oysters were huge! For the main, I got Linguine Alla Vongole, which was with white clams, and it was so flavorful and garlicky despite having chili in it, it wasn't spicy at all, which was great for me since I'm bad with spicy food ):I finished everything with their beet cake, which reminded me of carrot cake but BEET. It was my first time having beet in a cake and after the initial shock, it was quite tasty LOL!This place gets packed quick so be sure to have reservations just in case!"
"I have left a previous review but wanted to add another. I was in the area with a coworker and decided to take him to Hedgehog. Once again I was not disappointed. I ordered chips and queso. The sweet waitress told me they were out of chips and I asked if we could have fries instead. I recommend this! The fries had a great seasoning that went very well with the queso. I ordered the Bacon and cheese burger () and asked if I could have mashed potatoes with cream gravy as my side. No problem. They're customer service and delicious burgers will make me a repeat customer again."
"After having been to Mean Grille twice now, and trying just about 1 of everything on the menu, I can for certain tell you that this place is legit great! Bright spacious interior, made to order fresh Turkish food, and the friendliest owner that is truly passionate about his restaurant. This place is a MUST try!Mean Grille is everything you could love about a small family owned business. The service here is top notch and so inviting. Food wise, I recommend their Adana kebab plate with extra spicy cilantro sauce, pistachio cake, and Turkish tea to wash it down. The beef/lamb kebab is just so flavorful and juicy. Then their spicy cilantro sauce would be great on just about anything. The side salad that comes with the kebab plates is super refreshing too, I believe they use a pomegranate citrus vinaigrette. Please give this place a try!! I came here for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't busy. I truly think if more people gave this place a shot, they'd always be crowded with their big portions and tasty made to order Turkish food. 10/10 recommend! Enjoy!"
"I used to come here more often, since it is just down the street from my townhouse. I love Spec's but sometimes convenience is king. Their prices are bit higher but when you're in a bind they are not ridiculously marked up. Plus they do have a $10 off $100 on yelp if you check-in. The guy is always nice and often times on the weekends they will have some kind of tasting. It's a bit tight so be aware of your surroundings so that you do not knock something over or allow someone else to squeeze through."
"Wonderful people, the owner is helpful and friendly. If they do not have something you want, he orders it for you! Safe and very convenient for the Maplewood/Meyerland area. This is our go-to L Store every weekend. Also they always have lots of free boxes for packing! Great neighborhood wine, beer and alcohol store~!"
"Took a 30 minute drive and was worth it. Found everything I needed, even the ice! They even have merch for sale, will get some next time I go."
"A very nice and convenient liquor store in the Post Oaks / Galleria Mall area of Houston. The manager was very helpful in helping me find the items that I was looking for in record time."
"They so overcharge for liquor its ridiculous. When I inquired their excuse was we cant compete with Total Wine or Specs. I said well maybe you need to purchase from them A $53 dollar of liquor for $72 is well I will NEVER go back. They were the first in Pearland to get their license but they sure dont appreciate it or desire to be competitive within our community. Very sad."

One of our favorite spots for Thai food! My husband and I tried Rim Tanon for the first time a few months ago and have been back several times since then. As an appetizer, the salmon rolls are crispy and delicious. One of my favorite dishes is the khao soi gai, which is made with egg noodles and chicken. The broth is creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. I also really like their pad Thai, which comes with chicken, shrimp, and tofu and has very flavorful noodles. For dessert, I really like the mango sticky rice. The service and ambiance here are great, and there is free parking. We will definitely be back sometime soon!

Thistle is a terrific place to hang out, enjoy a very wide selection of draft beers and enjoy some very good pub food. It's a casual barn-like space, open to the outside when the weather is decent, and there's also an outside patio in back, along with more parking. They have a large projection TV for showing sports, etc as well. Service from the bar, but the crew is friendly and responsive. I've been numerous times both for business and casual meals and the food has been consistently excellent. The menu is not too large and is primarily pub fare - burgers, sandwiches, etc, but the food is amazingly good. It's certainly more expensive than a fast food burger, but in today's market $16-18 for a really good burger with fries is not out of line and the quality is superb. The list of sharables is pretty extensive and the brussel sprouts are wonderful - I could make a meal out of those. Last night my partner and I split a burger and an order of sprouts and it was plenty of food for two.

I am so happy I finally got to try this place after hearing about it from literally EVERYONE lol. This place was super packed on a Friday night. I definitely recommend making a reservation if you want to get a table without waiting forever. I made a reservation days prior and still ended up waiting about 20 minutes. The inside of this place is super chic, reminded me of a restaurant that you can find near the beach in California. I loved the decor and it felt super cozy inside! We were greeted right away after seating with water and our waiter came shortly after to get our drink order and give us a brief run down of the menu since we were first timers. To start I ordered the collective, a pineapple mezcal based drink with white rum. It was delicious! I ended up ordering a few of these throughout dinner. For appetizers we ordered the caviar & chips, roasted oysters, and tiradito de salmon. All three were amazing. The roasted oysters were made with a chipotle mayo that was super tasty, I couldn't stop eating them. The tiradito de salmon tasted so fresh and the orange zest made it the most refreshing appetizer.Since we had a good amount of appetizers, for my entree I ordered the whole roasted branzino. This is a pretty small portion and no sides are included. It was perfect for me because I was starting to get full but if you are hungry, I would definitely a couple of sides to go with this. However, this branzino was delicious!Lastly, we ordered the tres leches for dessert. Super moist (as it should be) and delicious. And this is coming from a person that normally does not eat dessert! I also wanted to highlight the service that we recieved here. Dejah was amazing! She was attentive, knowledgable, and overall super entertaining. She kept us laughing all while provided 10/10 service. I will definitely be back :)

My wife and I arrived mid afternoon and there were 4 tables of patrons there. We were invited to select our seat and chose an open booth in the corner. We were told that the restaurant had no pork that day. The waiter came over pretty promptly and asked us for our drink order. We each wanted a glass of ice water and I also ordered onion rings as an appetizer. The waiter immediately apologized for the restaurant being understaffed and said that their dishwasher was broken, that they had no way to serve beverages and that he would look for some to go cups in the back. He came back several minutes later with two normal bar glasses filled with ice water (I don't know if they fixed the dishwasher, but there they were and they looked clean). The onion rings came. No sauces accompanied them. It was a nice portion - the coating was nice and crisp and the onion was "real" onion slices, not onion bits. Although the texture was really nice and I was excited to try them, I ended up disappointed. The breading on the onions was pretty bland. We ended up eating a few and leaving the rest on the table. (We usually take home leftover onion rings. Due to the lack of flavor with the coating, they just weren't worth it.)My wife got the reuben, which looked and tasted very good. Nice serving of corned beef and enough sauerkraut and dressing to make a nice sandwich and allow for each of the elements to contribute equally to the whole. The bread - a Texas toast, was nicely prepared. Although I prefer a traditional rye bread, the toast was a very good substitute. The chips that came with the sandwich were tasty. And lots of them. We couldn't eat all the chips. I had the fried catfish platter with fries and side salad. Two huge pieces of catfish that, when you removed the breading, was delicious. But, like the onion rings, the breading was Meh - pepper but no other flavor. Because of the breading detracting from, as opposed to complementing, the flavor of the fish, I ended up not eating much of the catfish. And didn't take it home. The fries were plentiful and delicious. Overall, the experience was ok. If we lived closer, we might try again as it might have been an off day. The waiter did keep apologizing.

Friendly service, amazing selection given the small size of the store and pretty decent prices as well. Slightly more expensive than Specs but I can walk here from my apt, so that offsets the difference to me. Decent little cigar section too. I imagine it could easily get quite crowded as the shelves are pretty close together.

The owner is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Although not the extensive selection as the bigger stores, he will order whatever you need. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. His wife makes me spring rolls every December.

"They got all you need to party!! They even have a delivery service wow. So sit back, relax and drink!!"
"The owner Al will go out of his way to guide you down the right Spirit path. Great selection of bourbon"
"At first glance, the store looks like an old convenience store that closed down years ago. The parking lot is small and you the sign is barely recognizable. It's as if the person who owns this wants his store to stay hidden because frankly he doesn't even do the small/easy things to be seen more (i.e. signage, lights.)I've passed this place so many times and only found out yesterday it was an actual liquor store from the Yelp app.Once you go in, you'll find that the owner was very friendly! In fact, I don't know if I've met a small store owner who was so amicable. Always smiling and always cheerful...The prices are just a little higher than stores places like Specs but the convenient location makes it worth it."
"This is the first liquor store I have felt welcome in! The owner is good and definitely knows his stuff. Many times I haven't been sure what to get and he'll recommend bottles for my occasion and budget. He has daily specials and cheaper prices than big stores, not to mention some special bottles that I haven't seen before. I've been able to buy expensive spirits AND $5 vodkas so that says a lot. I love coming here so I feel strong recommending it!"
"I walked in expecting less and walked out lucky I stopped in. The staff were friendly and most of all they know tequila. None of the Don Julio or Parton white people tequila. I tested them and I got schooled on other tequila I yet to know about. I was there for 30 minutes talking to of the staff and I never had a conversation with a liquor sells clerk anywhere like the one I had here. He taught me how to know the difference of tequila bottled in America and Mexico. And it's those little details that matters in customer service."
"Doesn't look like much but for a strip mall there was a surprisingly large and varied selection. I was able to find an outside of the box bourbon for a hostess gift. The small place is packed to the rim with the good stuff!"
"If you want the best price and selection in Houston go see Ken! He has everything and if it's not there he will find it and have it waiting for you when you come back. Best liquor store in Houston!!"
"They are friendly when you walk in until you walk out. Typical stock, slightly crowded, which is not a bad thing, just watch your purse and elbows. They have wine and a small chilled wine section. I like the register because they have a nice screen so the customer can see the cost of each item. Lottery & Lotto here too!Ps-there is a cigar shop next door, pick up your favorite drink and take it to the cigar shop to enjoy with a stogie"
"I felt bad for their timing. This parking lot has been chopped off by half to make way for a new feeder road. It's amazing to see a tiny store has every type of liquor on shelves, but not the brand I usually buy. The busiest time is after-work hours on weekdays. The lone cashier handles a line of 5 people is very usual. There's a little way, just be patient. Liquor Bank has a convenient location on this busy Tidwell and 290 intersection. But it's not easy to get there from west bound on Tidwell Road. Not sure how the construction going to turn this parking lot into."
"Picked up Jack Daniels Single Barrel for under MSRP. The owner and staff are super friendly. I would definitely come back again."
"Highly recommend it is a very unique store not your typical in a good way. Very selective items which is good if you're looking for high quality drinks, price is extremely reasonable customer service, 10/10 and they have try before you buy which I love"
"Very friendly owners! Variety of alcohols to choose from, You will find any alcohol you are looking for!! :)"
"I've been to this store a couple of times out of convenience. It's between I45 and my house. So, stopping in for something to fill in the bar that was running low, this store worked out for me.It's in the Kroger shopping plaza on the north side of FM 1960. It is small. They will not have the selection of Spec's. So don't expect to find something obscure. But, it will suffice for basic needs."
"I have bought liquor from Baker's for the over 20 years. The business changed hands about 2 or 3 years ago and the service and selection is just as good as the first time I went there. They have everything I need and much more. Great service and great friendly people. Shop local and small business."
