El Gallego Spanish Food

Over expensive for Cuban food It's pretty much a Cuban Foods at this establishment. There's no authentic Spanish food. The Wine is extremely overpriced for what it is and the sangria is disgusting Service was great but would not recommend to enjoy an authentic Spanish cuisine.

Lots of seating, great service, and delicious food. We ordered a few tapas and they were definitely shareable. I wish I remember our waitresses name- she was magnificent. Definitely Spanish- very knowledgeable in every dish and had great recommendations. The Spanish beer was a real treat! The paella takes a while to make (as it should-no complaint) so make sure to order it first if you know you absolutely want it-- you should definitely get it. We ordered the paella for 3 and it could easily be shared by 5 people, it was large and flavorful! They have live music and a flamenco dancer on certain nights, we look forward to coming back to enjoy the show and trying new dishes from their menu.

Como español que soy, me cuesta mucho encontrar auténtica comida española. El Gallego es sabor español 100%. Probé las croquetas, las lentejas y la paella de marisco, y todo estaba muy bueno y el sabor auténticamente español. Buena variedad de vinos. El servicio es espectacular, muy atentos pero sin agobiarte. El espectáculo del sábado es muy bueno. Muy buena música y muy agradable. Tremendo ambiente. Todo estaba "de puta madre!". Volveré seguro!

Everything was a mess! If you like loud crazy places, with a waiter that gets lost for over 25 mins. And the food is mediocre compare to other places. Search no more this is the place for you! Music so loud it hurts eardrums!

It's been some time since I had been and now I remember why. While I can not complain about the service nor the cleanliness of the restaurant. I do have a lot to say about the food. I didn't take a picture of the Caldo Gallego nor of the Paella. First we ordered the Tabla Gallega comes with a nice selection and decent amount to share. The patatas brava with the fried egg topped with jamón serrano. The potatoes where soggy , over cooked egg and the ham was by far the worse Serrano I have ever had. Every thing else was ok. Here comes the Caldo Gallego and Seafood Paella. Ordered fir 2 and it was enough for 3 and some. Or maybe it was that the rice was not cooked through and hard and flavorless. Paella has this distinct flavorful taste that was TOTALLY lacking here. Cream brûlée or better known as Crema Catalana was in my opinion the only thing worth while. You are charge a service fee, btw I didn't see it mentioned no where. If my service is good I will tip beyond what they added. But the simple fact of not letting me know first hand, my waitress was penalized. I don't think I will be coming back! Sorry it was a place I recall as being good food, value and ambiance.

I went yesterday to this place with my wife. Some of the food was good and other undercooked, but what was very shocking is the bill. They tip is already in the bill as service charge even for a party of 2, then in the receipt they add a field for tip again without especifing is an additional tip, this is a fraudulent activity. On top of that, if you pay with a credit card, they pass to you the interest the bank charge the business for the transaction. What a shame this business is, I will never go here again and I will never recommend it. Stay away from this business.

My wife and I went to El Gallego Restaurant on Saturday the 18th of Aug., we wanted to enjoy good food and nice music. We did enjoy the food and the Show was very nice ..but in the middle of the Show on Older Gentleman got up and sand ( very nicely of course ) but at the end of the song he decided to make it a POLITICAL RALLY , he is the father of a candidate ro Miami Dade Sheriff # 59 on the Ballot ..after he introduced his son the Candidate's Personal Organizer got to the stage non other than ANGEL ZAYON, then he introduced the Candidate ..he went on speak about himself ..once he ended we went table by able saying hello .I paid $ 200 to have a nice dinner with my wife and ended being at a Political event.Did the owner allow this to happen ??? Isn't this going to far n imposing a situation that has nothing to do with a beautiful Saturday night with your wife.Service , was great , food was excellent and the musical duo was outstanding , why throw all that to the trash with a situation like that.I will think twice before going again ...
