"This is the worst Schlotzsky's I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few. Their sandwiches and service at all other locations have been very good, but this one...ugh.We we're headed out of Corpus Christi, and I had a hankering for a hot cheese sandwich. This location is convenient to I-37 on the North end of the city, so we stopped here. I should have heeded the reviews.The girl at the cash register who took our order seemed to be new, because when I ordered a cheese sandwich with extra cheese, she seemed hesitant and confused. She had a pleasant demeanor, though. I told her it was the same thing as an original, but without the meat in it. I told her I wanted everything but onions and meat on it. This is not an unusual order and I've never had a problem at any other Schlotzsky's ordering an original cheese sandwich. She rang it up with a soda and a kid's pizza meal for my granddaughter. They gave us a number to put on our table and we sat down.We weren't sitting long when they brought our order out. That was good. My sandwich was an original with meat and hardly any cheese at all. No bueno. I immediately pointed this out to the woman who served us. She kind of hesitated, so I explained again that I requested no meat and had to tell her to take it back. She took it, but came back with a young guy who was either the manager or the cook. I had to explain it again to him that I wanted an original cheese with extra cheese minus onions. The young woman said they'll redo it and not charge me "this time" and walked of again with my sandwich. She was pretty frosty about it, as if I had deliberately ordered it wrong. Certainly no apology. Wow.In spite of the stupid dance, the sandwich was delicious. The bread was nice and spongy, not too hard on the edges. My granddaughter enjoyed her pizza, and my son liked his ginormous sandwich. The restaurant was pretty clean, so no complaints there.The bottom line is that we will likely not be back here again, because I really felt awkward about the whole thing. If you've never had Schlotzsky's before, please don't let a negative experience at this particular location put you off. This place is not typical of all the other Schlotzsky's I've been to."

Very thin slices of turkey and ham, almost undetectable!! My wife got the Italian sandwich also no cheese. She asked for no ham, doesn't care for it. She wanted turkey substituted , but to no avail. This sandwich came with pepperoni, pepperoni and more pepperoni, nothing else. And, very thin slices at that. Forget about it ....I guess ?!!?The Bacon Ranch and Hook and Ladder looked the same. I wound up eating my son's sandwich by mistake. Please tell your employees to label the sandwiches. Why I couldn't call you ask?? Because we went late on this Easter Sunday and it was closed. You almost give up sometimes....forget about it ‼"

Since coronavirus started, I noticed the prices go up and the portions go down in size, and then I noticed a bunch of fake reviews pop up for this particular location. So they went from what originally was a 4-star location to a 3-star down to a two."

"One of the things I love about Port Aransas is the atmosphere. It's a beach town that owns its simplicity and laid-back vibe. With that said, let me say that we have ben to Bernie's so many times we feel like they know us. They don't but it feels that way. Always friendly, always smiling and always kind. I can't speak to the food because I have never had their food, but the cold beer, great margaritas and dance floor makes this a fun place to hang our hats after a day at the beach. So if you are from Austin like us, be sure to leave that "big city" attitude where it belongs because it doesn't get you very far here. Cheers y'all."

"I have been enjoying treats from this place ever since they were at there old location under the old name. Still they have the same great taste and the freshest fruits in town. My favorite has always been the fresas con crema (strawberry & creme) drink. There fruit cups can't get any better than this as they serve you fresh giant pieces of fruit with all the trimmings. The staff is friendly and the place is clean which is a big plus for everybody to know..Today as we ordered from the drive thru we were told to drive and wait up front for our order as to give the patrons in back of us a chance to get started on there order. So we pulled up right in front and we waited and waited till we decided to check up on our order and to our sight we saw our order completed and sitting on the counter. Other than that I'm willing to give this place 5 stars accordingly which will depend on future visits through the drive thru in the near future."

"While the food tasted good, that was about the extent of the positive experience here. The dining area was filthy. Trash was full. All the tables were dirty. And when I asked for a damp cloth to clean off a table for us to use, the guy at the register said to me: "napkins are right there". In other words, he didn't care if the tables were dirty and made ZERO effort to clean. Dirt and food on the window ledge. The girl making the sandwiches was slower than molasses, I had to remind her to add relish to our sandwiches or we wouldn't have gotten it, and when we unwrapped the sandwiches they were a mess! $30 bucks later?! No thanks. Won't be back."
