Millennium Tacos & Dogs, discreetly located within the bustling confines of Millennium Station in Chicago, is a delightful hidden gem that serves as the perfect sanctuary for a quick and satisfying meal before embarking on a train journey. Opting for the traditional Chicago Polish was a culinary revelation, nothing short of a flavor journey. The sausage, impeccably grilled to perfection, offered an initial crispness that gave way to a succulent and juicy interior. The intensity of the savory notes from the well-seasoned meat was a delightful surprise, creating a robust foundation for the entire bite. The addition of sautéed onions elevated the flavor profile even further. Each strand of onion was expertly caramelized, imparting a sweet and slightly charred essence that beautifully complemented the savory richness of the Polish sausage. The interplay between the intense umami from the sausage and the sweetness of the onions created a harmonious balance that lingered on the palate, leaving a lasting impression. Together, the combination of the intensely flavorful Polish sausage and the perfectly sautéed onions made for a taste sensation that was both bold and nuanced. The culinary craftsmanship evident in each bite showcased the attention to detail at Millennium Tacos & Dogs, making the overall experience truly exceptional. The simplicity of the stop, combined with the explosive flavors of the traditional Polish, makes Millennium Tacos & Dogs an unparalleled choice for a quick and delectable meal in the heart of the station. It's no exaggeration to say that this hidden gem has now become my new go-to place. With its unmatched flavor profiles and convenient location, Millennium Tacos & Dogs has effortlessly secured its spot as a favorite, ensuring I'll be making it a regular stop before hopping on the train. A discreet culinary haven that promises both convenience and exceptional taste, Millennium Tacos & Dogs is now an essential part of my train travel routine.

Located inside Millennium Station this restaurant has hotdogs and tacos primarily on the menu. Tried a Chicago style hotdog and fries. The dog was so so, skimpy on ingredients lacking a dill spear . Fries were frozen so nothing special.

For what it's worth, this Chicago Dog was tasty. Odd with only one slice of tomato, but all together it was a good bite to eat. Place was clean, service was good. We were on the go, and it was pretty good.

TLDR:Chili Dog: 6/10Chicken Quesadilla: 8/10Nifty little spot next to Millennium station. I had a chili dog and a chicken quesadilla, and the quesadilla was much better than the hot dog. The hot dog just wasn't very sturdy or stomach filling, and the fries it came with were dry and unsalted. the quesadilla on the other hand had everything right, and I was satisfied afterwards. There was a minor frustration with the restaurant - there was no free tap water. I had to buy a $2 bottle instead, which was mildly frustrating.

Nice little find. Tacos were good and the Chicago dog was surprisingly spicy. There is limited seating and the tables are small but despite the busy atmosphere, the two cooks are actually pretty efficient in getting food prepped and out to customers.

I didn't go inside, our hot dogs were provided to us by a Chicago foodie tour. What's my take on a Chicago hot dog? I wasn't crazy about it. The giant pickle scared me at first. I did like the bun with poppy seeds. What's this about no ketchup on a hot dog ever? Nonetheless, I tried it and it was alright. They say you have to try everything at least once. I'm glad I did but I won't be doing so if I ever return again to Chicago.

My husband and I were returning home from a really long trip, and were both "hangry". I stumbled upon this location while waiting for the train to our home airport. I decided to stroll in and order a couple of tacos. Neither of us were disappointed. The food was great. The young man who was working tonight (7/26/21) is a gem. He was polite, and served customers as quickly as possible. The only downfall of this place is lack of staffing. The employee working tonight had to serve 15-20 customers on his own...at closing time. I run my own business, and know that staffing has been difficult since the pandemic hit. However, that is when a business owner should step in and help their staff.

This place is in business with the panhandlers. A man claiming to be homeless and hungry asked "not for money but for food". I feeling that this was different offered to buy the man food. He wanted two double cheese burgers and fries. Total would have been over $20. I said no, I would buy one burger and fries. After paying with my card I walked away but kept an eye on the situation. The man running the register gave the man claiming to be homeless cash from the register. I believe the business is keeping a cut and refunding in cash the remaining amount. Lesson learned. You just can't trust anyone anymore.

Stopped for breakfast before hopping in the South Shore train. Took about 7-8 minutes to get two breakfast sandwiches. One had bacon, which was the only positive of both sandwiches. The other had sausage, which was burnt and gross. Eggs were OK, but didn't have much flavor. Toast was nicely brown, but the combination for the sandwich makes it very dry. Service was OK, but seemed unorganized - hence the wait with only a few customers there. Maybe lunch options are better here?

I never made it to this restaurant because the online directions made no sense. Someone explained that it's underground, in the subway station. (Three stars because you have to give stars.)
