A life changing coffee was had here. It was a seasonal coffee that tasted like spring in a cup. Honeyed and flowery and it was simply divine. I went in super late so no pastries were left. I was told the mole croissants were quite popular so I'll try to come in earlier next time. I

cute space + some fine pastries, though the selection isn't wild (at least the times i've been). coffee not that great sadly. service is odd, and the preciousness of the no cash + no laptop combo pieces of warning signs pasted to greet you at the door is a little too much. some of these cafes in an effort i guess to have quicker turnaround in their small spaces have decided to implement a ban on the one thing most people go to cafes for these days (to get a little work done). i'm not fully against this idea, but then why the crap do you even have wifi? is reading a book for hours OK but being on your lap top for 30 minutes is not? why are some people with laptops open are not told to leave but others are? inconsistent draconian rules for a little cafe is a bit over the top. but obviously it's your business to do what you want with it. but with so many other great cafe options with lovely owners and staff, why waste your time here? (see: Doppio, Pedestrian Coffee, Lincoln Cafe, Heritage Bikes and Coffee, Hexe Coffee Co., Coffee Lab Roasters, Bourgeois Pig, Botanical Cafe, etc.).

The space inside the cafe is bright, warm, and welcoming even on a cloudy day. I went on the weekend so it got busy especially near the front door with people standing around waiting for their orders. The space to sit inside is very limited so it's not ideal for spending too long of a time there. The coffee was good, and I liked that they served sparkling water along with the cortado. The pastries are what really shined. The pineapple muffin was not dry at all, and the croissant was flaky and had a good notes of spice at the end of each bite with the mole filling.

Lovely bright spot with friendly service, amazing pastries and solid coffee drinks. I have been trying to make it there in time to get one of their emmies and today I finally did! Omg, it's so good! I knew I should have gotten 7 of them, but I'll just have to keep coming back. I also tried the guayusa tea latte and while it was not my favorite it definitely kept me evenly caffeinated all day. Next time I'll try the wolf spice latte. The only negative is that the line to order winds into the tight seating area, but everyone was nice and that wasn't a big deal. Just a heads up since it's a very small and very popular spot.

Wish this had been a better experience: I arrived and ordered drip coffee and a mozzarella biscuit (pleasantly salty). But after I paid, the person behind the counter told me I may not sit at a table with my laptop. This was confusing because there were *four other people* at tables with laptops.I said it put me in a bad spot since I had just paid $11 for food and drink and had stopped by to do a little work. She immediately was like "do you want me to cancel your order?" which was... rude? Like: see ya. I wasn't trying to cause trouble but somehow for her I was.She then told me I could stay for 1 hour. So that's what I did. I even set a timer for myself. During the time, 3 other folks came in, sat down with laptops and worked and nothing was said to them. I obviously didn't feel like I could say anything about it. They were all still there when I left.So this was generally a rude and uncomfortable experience. I understand small businesses trying to maximize, but this was a weekday midday, with tables open both when i arrived and when i left. Felt like rules were made up for me.

Great coffee, delicious pastries and very good vibes are available at this delightful little coffee shop. The staff is friendly, the whole place is clean and bright and there's enough room for folks to work if they want to. Love the Japanese-inspired decor!

Very cute local coffee shop with great pastries. I was interested in going here since this place had good reviews and it's understandable why. Their vanilla latte was out of this world, it had cherry undertones which was unique and designs on the top were very nice. My favorite pastry was probably the focaccia bread but everything was very good. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. You've got to try this place.

Cute spot with some very solid baked goods. It's quite small, so you may have a hard time finding a seat, it's probably not a spot you'll want to hang out for an extended amount of time. The menu is quite limited, and any flavors, like a vanilla latte, cannot be done, which is surprising. When I went in there were no mugs, so everything was being served in to-go cups, which I'm not personally a fan of. But my sense was that it was busier that day and they didn't have the capacity to do all the dishes. Service was just ok, not the greatest communicators with the staff we interacted with. I would definitely recommend if you just want some coffee and/or tasty baked goods to go!

Have had many people tell me that they have been "kicked out" for working on their laptops. I have also seen plenty of people working on their laptops there with no issues. Seems like they decide if you aren't hipster enough then you can get out. (This seems like a joke but is laughably true) The pastries are amazing, the coffee is just okay. Very pretentious place. If you want a slice of the worst part of Logan square right here in Roscoe village then come on down.
