Good! Got danishes and muffins and they were still tasty the next day! They have some typical bakery flavors and then some unique ones with coconut!

Not quite up to the Fulton market standards. Despite trying a croissant, a scone, a muffin and a mini quiche I found that a lot of it tasted the same. I also felt like the textures were a little off, sort of like the complimentary breakfast you get at a hotel where it is similar to what you expected but something just isn't right. My favorite thing was the croissant and once I warmed it in the oven at home it was a little better. As an avid croissant consumer I can say it wasn't quite right, there was no flake and not enough lamination.

While the croissant was decent . It could have used more chocolate in the middle. One stripe piped out down the middle to me doesn't equal a chocolate decadent dessert. Also heated up may have been better. Another place where I feel a tip is unnecessary. Someone tapped two buttons on a POS. Got a bottle of water and put a premade product on a plate. Where is the service that rates a tip?

I came in on a Monday around 11 am looking for an early lunch, but most of the food shops were still opening up. I decided to grab a drink and read for a bit. On a little sign I saw a special drink offering of Cereal Milk Matcha. The person I ordered from at the counter said they were out of the mix they use, but could make me something very close. I sat at one of the benches by a table and read while I waited for my drink. It was good! The service was quick and friendly. I was extra glad that they made me a drink similar to what I ordered and they were out of. There's a few tables in the café area and then a large seating area where all the seating is for the food stalls. Even though it wasn't busy when I arrived, I was glad to have a quiet corner of the cafe to read in,

Had an afternoon sweet of Hazelnut Bouchon with a small coffee. OMG was it delicious! A perfect sized serving with a yummy candied center. The server recommended that I have it warmed. Timeout Chicago is a multi-cultural food mall in a renovated building. When you enter the building, turn left (heading west) & it's in the corner. Didn't see signage for this coffee/sweets cafe.

Great service! The guy at the front took care of us for their Juneteenth event!! Very hospitable and welcoming environment. The slushees were a 10/10 & the cookie chefs kiss!! We played games while we enjoyed our snack and a break from the heat.

Had a large coffee and a croissant. The croissant was not big, but it was delicious. The coffee was pretty bad. I'm giving a low score because those two items cost me $17. Now, I realize it's in Timeout Market, but to be fair the prices were not posted. Croissants were listed as "5+". I didn't realize that could mean 5+7. An absolutely ridiculous amount of money to ask for a small amount of food and coffee. Bittersweet, the previous tenant, would have been $12 for the same thing, and their croissants were twice the size and their coffee was always perfectly brewed.
