"I heard all great things about Luella's and decided to order recommended items from their menu for lunch today.Parking: Street parking was challenging, however I did find parking 1 block away. The place is fairly small and the place was crowded. Energy in the place was happy and bright. There was a line in front of the register.Tables were for small parties; there was even a table for one (1) at the front window (I will eat at a table for one next time, if needed)Diners looked happy and all the food on the tables looked amazing!Food: I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken with Waffles and the Mac & Cheese. Chicken was perfectly fried, just the right amout of crispiness. I got Nashville hot sauce on the side. Maple syrup comes with waffle. Mac & Cheese was Cheesy and delicious, I saved some Mac & Cheese for later.Thank you, Luella's and friendly staff for a delicious experience! I plan to order every item on your menu. Thanks again!"
"Visited this local establishment before a theater evening. I sat at the bar and was promptly helped. I wavered between fish or chicken. I once had the chicken sandwich delivered to a houseparty. Anyhoo, I remember that being good but can't tell you much more about that selection. The bartender recommended I try the fish sandwich. I was good with that selection. In addition to the sandwich which came out within 10 minutes, I grabbed some fries and $3 cheap beer. Sandwich was hearty and fresh. Fries were hot and plentiful. I enjoyed both. I had leftover fries that my theater mate ate on the way to the play. I was fan of this sandwich but on my next go around, will request additional pickles and sauce on the side. All in all meal was good but things sure are getting expensive. Cost me $27 with tip for fish sandwich, fries and beer. Tip: fries come with aioli but charged for ketchup so ask for swap if aioli is not your thing."
Its chef Hunter Moore's Nashville style-hot chicken in the sandwich form - boned out fried Amish chicken thigh topped with slaw, American cheese, aioli, north star pickles, and plenty of chef hunters secret recipe hot sauce.

"Helenia is amazing. amazing customer service and amazing in all ways. thank you so much Helenia for understanding and helping my family and I this afternoon. she deserves a million. we will be back for sure because of Helenia's welcoming and compassionate heart."
"Overall Thoughts: Delicious, garlicky jibaritos; exceptional service and inviting staff (Papa himself gave us a warm welcome too)! Indoor seating is limited, but they have a toasty, heated outdoor space for cold winter days. Prices are reasonable too.Food I tried:- Ribeye Steak Jibarito: The steak was super juicy and flavorful, and the plantain was quite densely flattened. Adding their garlic sauce on top added a nice kick. The arroz con gandules on the side was also extremely good-- a little crispy, very flavorful and aromatic. - Shredded Chicken Jibarito: The shredded chicken was also tender and juicy with great flavor, but I think the flavor of the steak was more robust, which I preferred.-- Price (relative to peers): 4.4/5Food: 4.7/5Ambience: 4.8/5Service: 5/5Overall Value: 4.7/5"
"We enjoyed the katsu chicken and Korean bbq chicken bowl and the kangnam style bowl. We ate inside which was no frills and plenty of space. All tasted really good. We ordered at counter and then they called our name for pick up. Service was friendly."
"Finally made it down here after patiently waiting for them to officially establish themselves inside Mollys Cupcakes. It's still essentially a take out place but you should be able to find a table and dine in once you pickup your order. I ordered their BBQ Pork Char Siu and their Fried Chicken Fried Rice. Both dishes tasted great. The chicken fried rice was very large and very filling. The fried rice had amazing flavor and it had plenty of fried chicken. The BBQ pork was really good as well. The pork was tender and the sauce was very sweet, but flavorful. Both items were fairly priced, I just wish the bbq pork came with some steamed white rice. They don't even offer some on their website for me to order which was a bummer. Overall I was very satisfied and wouldn't mind returning. My son really liked it and I wouldn't mind trying other items on their menu."
"I think 2 Stars IS MORE THAN GENEROUS!I ordered via delivery and was EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED ON SOOOO MANY LEVELS!While the delivery box and items were presented as a "delicious" assortment-the opposite was true! The Mac and Cheese tasted like "pure butter" no cheese! The Chicken Sandwich was NOT TENDER and after two bites it hit the garbage can.The Cole Slaw looked "healthy" but was unflavorful...For me, sad that I spent the money as I had been wanting to try their Chicken Sandwich and sides for over a year! BUMMER!"
"One time, walking up and down Broadway, we could not resist the smell of the grilled chicken out of this corner restaurant. We decided to walk in and order...the menu is pretty simple...whole chicken, half chicken, quarter chicken...then you pick your side....easy.The chicken was so delicious....the portion was large and the flavor profile of the marinate was right on point....The place is like a diner, so it's no frills, very casual, almost what you see in Latin America. But the taste will have you come back...again and again...."
"Very cool spot. Fun exterior with outside seating. Excellent food. I had the El Quemao Pulled Chicken Sandwich and Mac and cheese which is super tasty. Great place to walk to with quick service. The perfect weekday quick-dinner place."
"This is our first stop in chicago and was kinda disappointed. I saw a lot of good reviews and we were hungry so we gave it a try. We got the half chicken meal with Cole slaw. It also came with pita bread. The price is pretty good because you do get a decent size portion. Service was also pretty good as well.Food wise: chicken was kinda dry and bland, Cole slaw has too much dressing and pita bread was ok. The chicken needed the sauce or else it doesn't have any flavor. The sauce was either bbq or salsa which is a weird combo/option.Overall, ok food but definitely had better."
"Deluge, excellent fresh food made to order. Nice family run restaurant. Perfection on the warmed golden pitas make sauces, nice selection of sodas. I like that the ketchup bottles are clean and not coated with grease. Excellent menu. Ample basket of crispy fries."
"Love to have a restaurant with a full selection of delicious Taiwanese drinks and food. One has to be warned before they make a visit that portion sizes are between generous to quite large, so it's important to bring a large appetite or friend when you're making a visit here. Since everything is so good here, it'll be hard not to try to finish everything you get (for example, the popcorn chicken is a box of all meat, and the bento is packed quite tight and can easily be shared between two people). The drinks here are done quite well, exactly to the special order of ice or sweetness that you desire. This is with high quality ingredients and the boba has the right amount of chewiness to it. The popcorn chicken was tender with a good crispiness to it and the salt and pepper wasn't overwhelming. The bento box is a fantastic way to try lots of different Taiwanese favorites and snacks at the same time including the tea egg and Taiwanese sausage. The pork rib was marinated well and quite crisp. Overall, great food and drink make this a spot I'm excited to visit again in the future. I was very glad to see everything prepared in such an authentic way and to see a menu that's different from what you see at other boba cafés nearby."

Yelp needs to add a Sixth Star for this restaurant.Service- great.Ambiance- I don't care what the Ambience is as long as Chef is cooking the food. However, I understand why this is important. It's a small, clean establishment.Food- words can't explain.I have been here before. I was in town visiting and this was on my list to visit. Per usual, I wasn't disappointed.Buttermilk fried chicken and waffles- meat isn't dry and seasoned perfectly.Biscuits- as if your Granny made them,Salmon Cakes-the best I ever had. Don't let my mom read this. The balanced taste and texture. Not overly fishy for the ones out there that always say they don't want to eat fish for that reason. The grit balls and asparagus that accompany the dish makes it the perfect dish for me. The gentleman taking my order told me it had ranch and buffalo sauce on it and immediately I said, "I hate ranch." I love ranch. This wasn't a regular ranch. Elevated ranch. If ranch tasted this way, I would eat it.Didn't get any photos as I was more concerned with savoring my meal.Moral of my review: should you eat here? Yes.

Finally able to stop by & try The NOT CHICKEN SANDWICH @ Parsons. I heard about this chicken sandwich from a woman that is a rep for Tindle. Tindle is a product of Next Gen Foods based out of Singapore. They are all over Asia & Europe & are coming to the US.I can't remember her name (sorry) late last year. She was a US rep for Tindle based out of San Francisco. She was in town for a vegan food fair similar to Taste of Chicago but only for vegan products. I'm not a vegan but I'm open to trying vegan products some are very good & others were just downright nasty. I want to say that the NOT CHICKEN SANDWICH by Tindle was delicious. I would definitely eat this again

In the world of Puerto Rican cuisine Papa stands up to the best. I stopped in the old neighborhood for a quick bite and was drawn in to Papa's. It's not hard to do. Been here many times because it's tried and true. He's been around on Division street about 25 years and is usually around in the restaurant to meet and greet. The service is excellent with Johnny knowing the menu the neighborhood regulars and knows how to treat newcomers and walk them through the menu. I usually go family style with a friend for a whole chicken, arroz y gandules, and Yuca En Escabeche , yucca with onions, simple but insanely delicious. Now their chicken is off the hook. No one had chicken like this. Lightly spiced broasted to perfection. There's plenty of other menu options to choose from. Their Lechon Asado on Saturdays only is some of the best around. There's also plenty of outside seating so try Papa's out to get a true taste for Humboldt Park.

I had the taste for chicken tenders and 10Q did not disappoint. The tenders are huge and juicy and the sauces were so good. I got both of their spicy sauces and was not disappointed. There is plenty of metered street parking and they have seating for dining in; I did take out and the food was ready quickly.

This was a really solid meal. We ordered char siu, vegetable spring rolls, bbq pork fried rice and combination fried rice. Our total with tax and tip was $60.I get why they used to sell out of the char siu, it has a ton of flavor and just melts in your mouth. The spring rolls were good, but the sauce that comes with them takes it to the next level. I'm not sure what's in it, but there's some heat and nice seasoning that pair well with the spring rolls as well as the fried rice.My husband likes his rice to be cooked on the firmer side, and he said that the combination fried rice was "amazing." I enjoyed my dish as well, and as others have mentioned, the portion size is very fair. I'm glad to have tried 3LP and think it's a great addition to the neighborhood.

Our go-to chicken spot in Chicago! Can't go wrong with the Original budlong chicken sandwich (I get mine naked (no sauce) and husband loves it Nashville hot) with come back sauce and a side of fries! Enjoy!

Chicken Hut...WHAT?!?!?! I always kinda wanted to try this place because I figured if it has been open for so long on that busy corner, it must be good. But then I'd scare myself away. Finally ordered this weekend for delivery through Doordash (was feeling too lazy to walk a mile). The order arrived in under 15 minutes! The chicken was still piping hot when we opened it up. We got a half chicken, upgraded to all white meat (don't judge). It was two breasts and two wings, and MASSIVE ones at that. Plus rice and mashed potatoes and it came with a surprise salsa and pita. Confusing vibes but it all somehow works. Mashed potatoes weren't my favorite ever but I liked the rice. We were stuffed and sooo impressed. Definitely coming back here.

"Stopped here later at night for dinner and it truly is a hidden gem. We got a couple items and the hot chick was the star. We got medium and it had good spice. The smash fries were so good. It had chunks of beef on it with nacho cheese. The owners are super nice and asked how we found out about them. Overall, I would come back and try their other items. If you're a fan of Nashville style chicken sandwiches, I'd recommend this place."
"Gloomy and pouring buckets outside, but inside Mixto it was bright and cheery with pretty tile-topped tables and friendly staff. We came in during brunch, so the menu reflected both breakfast and lunch items. Some of us ordered a Greek omelet, a smash burger with sweet potato fries, and a grilled chicken sandwich. I ordered a Cobb salad with grilled salmon-- the greens were fresh, the bacon bits were extra crispy, and the salmon was cooked perfectly with a whole sliced egg. This was a generous, colorful, filling entree sized salad. My friend had a cup of tasty tortilla soup and also enjoyed the chicken tostadas topped with lots of fresh avocado and accompanied by a green side salad. This was a cozy family restaurant that takes pride in showcasing quality ingredients and providing tasty food with good value. They were friendly and accommodating. I hope to return to try the dinner entrees."
"Im not sure what else to say that hasn't been already said before about Harold's. I called my order in and was surprised they actually answered. Its a hit or miss on getting any location to answer their phone. The person that took my phone order was very polite and my order was ready when I arrived to pick it up. I ordered my usual 8 piece mixed chicken bucket with mild sauce and a side of large fries with mild sauce. The chicken was fried perfectly and they didn't skimp on the mild sauce on either the fries or the chicken. The chicken was nice and crispy and perfectly seasoned. Will definitely be coming back to this location."
"New favorite chicken sandwich! And Chicago has a lot of great options- but dang, this one takes the cake. Off the bat, the space is so cute. The design is retro with a fun diner feel. You place your order at the counter which works well because the menu is limited so there isn't much to mull over regardless. The staff working was so efficient and welcoming! I ordered the crispy fried chicken sandwich, complete with b&b pickles, cabbage, spicy mayo, and hot honey on a brioche bun. My husband got the ranchy chicken sandwich and we shared waffle fries, elotes, and Mac n cheese for sides. Our meal was delivered to our table in about 10 minutes, it was a quick turnaround. Everything was incredible. The flavors compliment each other so well, and the breading on the chicken had the perfect crunch. My favorite side was the Mac n cheese, but tbh all were five stars!! We loved GG's and can't wait to be back."
"I was craving pho for lunch and browsed through Uber eats and found Standard Pho!I checked Yelp and saw Standard Pho was rated a strong 5/5. Read a few reviews and I was sold! My bowl of to go pho definitely did not disappoint and 100% lived up to my expectations!!- Portion size is generous (ginormous!)- Broth is very flavorful and hearty - Brisket was a much thicker cut than usual for pho but was tender melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness Probably the best tasting pho I've tried in Chicago (granted I've only tried 3 other places). I was bummed my Thai iced tea never made it to me but it may have been a mistake by Uber Eats. Will definitely order from again and recommend for a delicious bowl of pho!!"
"Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken sandwich was really good. I got it with the fried green beans which were also delicious. The potato salad was a nice side but the best part was the honey bites. Customer service was great."

"I haven't tried any of their chicken sandwich but omg, there Byrd's bomb is bomb asf. The portion is huge. It honestly can probably feed 3 people max. Definitely order this when you can because you will not be disappointed. It hits the spot."
"Welcome to Lincolnwood! I've so been looking forward for you to open and I'm sorry for this long overdue review! We love the simpleness of the menu and now we've got even to a point where we know what to get. Our favorite is the garlic soy tikku and the obligatory snow onion, and we also like the red hot gizzard. We tried red hot wings, but we enjoyed much better when it was smaller bites with gizzard because it's quite spicy. They have a loyalty program where if you earn 7 stamps, you can redeem for 1 free whole chicken. Each stamp is for a whole order so if you only get wings, it's only 1/2 a stamp. I am proud(?) to admit I have scored one because we have Korean Fried Chicken nights too frequently! Snow onion- raw sweet onion with special sauce. Typically served on top of original chicken but for takeout, they put on the side so wings don't get soggy. Tikku is their signature flavor that's smoky. It's a unique flavor to chicken wings. It's best tasted when served hot. Gizzard- may sound disgusting but it's quite chewy, and if you're from Korea, you might've grew up eating it. Soy green onion is also good if you're a green onion fan. What are you waiting for? Gooooooooooooo!!! Ordering via phone is easy peasy. They're super nice."
"Found in the sticks of Arlington Heights. (The drive from the city I mean.) I mentioned this to the owner. He came over to introduce himself during our meal. To the question of location he wanted to bring his styles of South Indian food to a new market. Chicago & near surrounding burbs have a significant South Indian presence in the restaurant game already. From our conversation we gleaned that he had worked in NYC & Miami. Picking up new techniques and ingredients along the way, he wanted to implement them to see if it hits with his new customer base. His menu includes flambé and a special preparation of biriyani which utilizes a cooking utensil specific to coconut infusions. For this special biriyani (seasoned rice with chicken, that's the only protein they use. Bummer.) To enjoy this special preparation customers are requested to order three hours in advance. The restaurant is a first for he and team so they're adapting and reformulating as they move forward. From the time of my dining to the writing of this review (about a month), their menu has expanded with more offerings. Currently the restaurant is only byob and it doesn't sound like they plan on a liquor license anytime soon. So for the diner, enjoy your favorite spirits without any extra byob fees for the time being. If you're a fan of Tamilnadu food preparations you should enjoy. Just be extra careful of how spicy you request your meal. They haven't properly figured out maintaining specific spice levels. Best to experience as is and if you need a side of yogurt (raita) it can be requested. Presently they offer entrees, curries and grilled items. Currently there are no plans to offer dosa specialties. However there are many breads offered. The standards, naan, paratha, kulcha and uttapam (usually only offered in South Indian restaurants)The restaurant isn't much to look at presently, very generic at the moment. Hopefully with time and more audience, they can change it up as they move forward. Given it's distance from commuter traffic areas, I wonder how much attention they might get. Food is solid and tastes are wonderful but if you're not drawing enough attention to the area... is all I will say. Best to phone ahead and find out what's going on. The night I stopped in, it was Chinese night. Special Indo-Chinese food offering in a prix-fix menu for a specific price. (Three courses) Although they offer special menus nightly, their regular menu is always available."
"As someone who loves wings, BB.Q Chicken has quickly risen to the top of my Chicago foodie list. A group of friends and I had the pleasure of ordering takeout from and we were amazed. There is an extensive selection of flavors to choose from. I highly recommend the Honey Garlic, Soy Garlic, and Cheesling options. All three are excellent! The Cheesling flavor, in particular, was a pleasant surprise. It's not often you see this choice on a menu. For anyone looking to try something unique and flavorful, I would encourage it. The crispy fried chicken is made to perfection. It's cooked just right, with an optimal level of crispiness on the outside and tenderness on the inside. This sets it apart from other Korean chicken places. BB.Q Chicken also offers a wonderful variety of side dishes. Our personal favorite is the Ddeok-Bokki, a classic Korean street dish with rice and fish cakes. I dipped my chicken in the sweet and spicy chili blend for an extra zing. I would give it a 10/10 recommendation. Give it a try. Overall, the portions were generous, ensuring a pleasurable experience. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality and taste of the meal. With so many Korean wing spots in Chicago, I would highly consider BB.Q Chicken as your next wing stop."
"Neat corner shop in the basement of an old shopping center in Chinatown.ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 8/10Quaint little place that you order from and eat in a large food court area. It's nothing impressive, but gives and old timey vibe that I enjoy.SERVICE: 9/10Staff is very nice and food comes out very fast. My order was out in less than 5 minutes.FOOD: 9/10Hainanese Chicken Rice - 9/10 - True to the restaurant's name, their specialty dish is this chicken rice dish. Chicken is cooked to a very tender texture without any dryness and laid perfectly over a bed of rice. It comes with 3 sauces as well, surprise, surprise! A spicy sauce, soy vinegar sauce and a ginger sauce. Chicken Soup - 8/10 - Broth that the chicken was likely cooked in/from. It's soupy and watery, but it does taste good.VALUE: 7/10For less than $15 you get a pretty complete meal which is a good deal.PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 9/10TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Yes, please try it!OVERALL: 9/10"
"Yum, I love Fry the Coop! I was surprised to see this location when I was driving down Lincoln one day, and I don't know if it's a good thing to have one within a couple miles or not. And they actually have honey mustard sauce, which I'm not sure the Portage Park one does.Anyway, their medium level spice is my favorite and the one I always get because the next level up is tooo spicy for me to have more than just a bite, and the others are not spicy enough. The staff here were friendly and the place is just getting up and running so there wasn't a big crowd. They have only a few tables but most of their business will probably be carry-out anyway given they're just around the corner from DePaul. Food was good, as I'm used to from Fry the Coop, and the prices were on par with most of the other places (except the ridiculously expensive one in Oak Lawn). I'm certainly going to be back here again."
"If you like, spicy, deep-fried chicken sandwiches, you've got to try this place. I get a lot of spicy chicken sandwiches, and this one blows them all away. I will be going back here. It's right on the way to home. How can I resist? The atmosphere isn't much to speak of but it's basically a fast food joint, so what do you expect? It does have a really fun name for one of their sandwiches "Popeyes ain't sh@t"I like spicy and they're hot, is really hot. They also have another s flavor called "call ya mama". Sadly, I haven't tried it yet, but I'm nervous."
"I placed my order online and it appears everyone else does the same. My food was ready for pickup before the promised time and I noticed the restaurant was completely empty, but a lot of DoorDash people waiting for orders to be ready. I did not have any issues with the staff either. I ordered their Panama City Style, Carolina Style, and a Build your Own. Mine was the Carolina Style which came with pimento cheese and I ordered mine with Nashville hot. Roost in my opinion is somewhat underrated. No body talks about them. But this Nashville hot Carolina style sandwich with pimento cheese was straight fire. The chicken breast was big and fried perfectly, the cheese complemented the spiciness from the chicken perfectly. The biscuit was good. Only problem was that since it's such a wet sandwich, the bottom of the sandwich fell apart. There was absolutely no way to eat this like a traditional sandwich. Had to pull out the knife and fork. My wife chose to build her own. With a spicy chicken, cucumber coleslaw and hot honey. My son chose their Panama city style with Nashville hot. The Panama City came with American cheese, pickles and chili like mayo. Both were good, but mine was definitely my favorite. The rest of the family loved it as well and they're all excited to order from here again soon. Will definitely be back."
"Love this place! I've had the chicken wing dinner with a side of mac and cheese. I've also had the fried shrimp and the chips. The chicken was very tasty. I wasn't a huge fan of the mac and cheese. My favorite item is the fried shrimp and the freshly made chips. The shrimp are HUGE! They are perfectly fried and well seasoned and come with your choice of sauce but they are so well seasoned you really don't need sauce. The chips are nice and thin cut and light and crispy. Although it's called Berwyn Chicken, I'm totally hooked on the shrimp!"
"Hello Jasmine is one of the better bubble tea places in the city but this is probably my least favorite location. I think that it's the biggest and the nicest but the food and drinks are not as good as their other locations. I ordered the pink guava tea and it was way too sweet I was so disappointed. I also got their pork rice bento box and the rice was cooked so poorly where everything was clumped together :( Maybe they were having an off day this week but it was very disappointing. Aside from that it's a beautiful space and the service is decent. You basically order at a kiosk and then they bring the order out to you! Ample seating and parking is never too difficult in the neighborhood!"
"Little bit expensive for what it is.$13.99 for six chicken wings? Got the Secret Spicy and the Gangnam style wings. What they were is more sweet than anything. Which is not my jam. The BF thought they were great, so if you like sweet chicken wings, you may l like these.I really liked the Kimchi Fried Rice (with cheese!). That is what will get me coming back, the flavor for that was very good. Clean interior, adorable, friendly guy taking orders. Welcome to Edgewater Beach!"
"Stopped by this location for lunch and this place was a madhouse. The lobby area is very small and it was super crammed at the pickup area. The line to order was also very long. There is like 5 flights of stairs you have to take up to the dining room floor and on this hot sunny day we did not have the energy to go up them. We passed on the stairs and waited for the elevator which took forever.. its the slowest moving elevator ever.Once upstairs we luckily found an open table right away and we cleaned it up. Our meal was good and nothing was missing. They were definitely not stingy with their sauces here as they gave us like six of each flavor when we had only asked for two. We didn't interact with any employees since we ordered via the app. Overall our lunch was good."
"OMG! Is this the best fried chicken I've had so far??? If it's not, it's pretty damn close. I'll talk about the chicken soon but let me tell you a bit about the restaurant. The restaurant Fry is the first of it's kind in the West. It's a franchise from Iraq and only in Dubai and several middle East countries. They take traditional fried chicken and infuse middle Eastern and Indian spices to give it's food all the love it deserves. All the chicken is hilal so expect the prices to be a little more than usual fried chicken joints. Don't let this turn you off because its SO WORTH IT!On to the chicken...YUMMMMMM! The chicken is SO moist and tender but has a great crisp on the exterior. The spices are all too familiar to me as it has turmeric, and several other eastern spices that just ooze deliciousness! They're fries are tasty and amazing. I tried the standard fries but topped with lemon and black pepper. The dining area is decent sized but very clean and modern. It has dining up to 40 ppl.Moe is amazing the service was on par with most restaurants of it's type. You can see how he values the food and how it tastes. Looking forward to coming back and trying the chicken bowls!"
"This was some of the crispiest fried chicken I've ever had. It was juicy, seasoned perfectly, and piping hot. We did have to wait almost an hour for the food to come out, which was not ideal, but maybe that just made the crispiness of the chicken even more satisfying. We also got a bunch of sides-- out of everything, the coleslaw stood out; the fries, okra, and onion rings were just okay. In total, it was a huge amount of food shared between 4 people and it ended up costing just ~$9 per person (they also definitely gave us more than the 16 pieces of chicken we ordered!)There are only 2 tables inside, so most people do takeout, but we dined in and it was quiet and chill. Overall a solid, very affordable spot for fresh, super crispy fried chicken, if you're willing to wait."
"Dined in on a Saturday night. Firstly, the food and ambience were decent and met my expectations - at least in terms of quality, temperature, freshness and taste. No wait (as we were the only customers). However, value and service were both below average. Specifically, counter guy missed one of the items we ordered and did not add it to our order because they misunderstood us asking about the ingredients of one of the entrees as canceling it. We didn't realize it until 10 minutes after our food was brought to the table. I went back and asked about the fried rice dish and they said "Oh, I thought you cancelled it." SMH. Sigh. OK. Never mind.Something annoying you should be aware of: they charge you a 3% "convenience fee" if you pay by credit card. This just screams greedy/shady IMO. The bill was just over $48 for two orders of wings, 1 order of fries and two canned beverages from the refrigerator. Guy tried to charge us for a bottle of Aquafina because my son asked for water. They have a big container of in the form of a self-service water cooler - yet he assumed Aquafina bottled water. No. So you get a teeny little plastic cup (think Dixie Cup) to use with the self serve jug. SMH. But the "convenience" fee? If anything it's more convenient for the restaurant to not have handle cash - yet they punish the customer for paying by credit card. Sorry, but that's wrong. I've not seen this at any other restaurants. IMO, it's nothing more than opportunistic scam. Unfortunately that was the most memorable thing about the visit. I don't envision going back."
"I've always wanted to try this restaurant, so last week I gave it a go. Upon arrival I observed that the restaurant was very clean. There is a lot of seating but, the tables are tiny and uncomfortable. The ceiling fan was wavering directly over the seating, which blows all of your stuff onto the floor, so it was quite annoying trying to eat with Napkins flying everywhere. There was only 1 customer there, so service was quick. The cashier did not greet us or interact with us. So they definitely need to work on customer service! The quality of the food was good. The wings were fried crispy. I didn't like the seasoning that they used, which tasted like pepper and lemons. I liked that the fires were cooked well and covered in sauce. I would eat here again. But honesty it's hard to spend money at restaurants that have poor attitudes and customer service."
