First time here...What catch my eye in the menu was the pasta with lamb in the menu... I though it was a very difficult mix and decided to try it... wow!!! It was a delight, the pasta made the generous portion of meat so acceptable to your taste that makes it deliciously strong but incredibly tasty... their menu is extended with other options that promise several adventures for your taste. Service is personal, I'm Mexican and making it like a joke I asked for some fresh chile... never expecting they will fulfill my request... wrong... they brut me a Serrano chile perfectly cut to enjoy it with my lamb pasta !!! The place is dazzling... they place multiple glasses in each table with battery lights that never stop shinning and all reflect in their door windows... really you have to try the place when ever you visit Miami and if you live there... go there tomorrow!!!

Came in for a quick bite and what a great experience. I sat outside and was the only one there. I was greeted quickly. They let me know they have an on going $35 menu which was cool. I was strictly there for beef tartar and fries. The bartender suggested a few wines without even being asked which was really nice, and I took the suggestion. The food was yummy and quick. The fans were nice it's such a beautiful outdoor space.

We had an incredible night at Casa Vigil as part of their BYOB dinner series. Honestly, we had no special culinary delight goals, just wanted to have a good time. The restaurant and the menu exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was incredible and the service as well (may be little rusty in English). We had their fixed menu: grilled artichoke (to die for), grilled dorada (something else), and basque cheesecake (I thought I'd skip) was amazing.

Let's start with the food! This Michelin star chef brings it to the table. The dishes of not were the grilled filet and the empanadas. They were tender juicy and the most flavorful of any restaurant in Miami. The gamba was tasty not amazing and the duck was good but a little tough so that was disappointing. As far as service there are plenty of waitstaff to serve you, our waitress was nervous about communicating because I only spoke English but aside from that we were well taken care of. The location is fabulous! Plenty of parking with a "mall" of independent shops behind it as well as the bib gormand restaurant El Turko ! Tables are romantic and well appointed with an atmosphere of feeling outdoors and indoors at the same time. Needless to say to say I will be back as I dream about their wine, not pictured here, empanadas and filet.

We came twice during Miami Spice for their lunch and it was pretty good. Entree was a big portion too but the best what's their cheesecake dessert. I just want to visit again for the dessert it's so good. Ambiance is really nice. We sat inside because it was too hot outside. I love the open kitchen concept. Not sure if it's a Michelin star kind of restaurant but flavour of food is good

This restaurant is relatively new but there has been a lot in the press about it. The chef has a Michelin star in Mendoza, Argentina so I was excited about the concept. The place kept almost the same setting compared to the prior restaurant, Vista but it has a very modern and elegant atmosphere. I love the ambience. Service in general was slow, there were just two tables in the restaurant and drinks and food took forever. However our sever Clementina was very nice, funny , informative, helpful and amicable. She was the highlight of our visit. The menus was short , very casual and simple, no very Michelin style. The best were the ribs, they were delicious, well cooked, smooth and tasty. On the other hand, the empanadas were mushy, lamb chops were gelatinous and the bucatini was bland. The pear in wine reduction was another gem. Unfortunately it is not a good pairing with passion fruit ice cream which is to strong a flavor. Vanilla or white chocolate ice cream would have been perfection. Cocktails were juicy and weak, on the sweet side . After trying 3 of them , we changed to beers. I would consider coming back if I heard that drinks got better. Prices are razonable , even though there were some over the top exceptions. Unfortunately I was not impressed by this restaurant and it was a very average experience.

Casa Vigil took over the old Vista spot. The restaurant still has its really nice ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is originally from Mendoza, Argentina and has a Michelin star down there. Well, you can tell that they know what they're doing. We did a wine pairing with a 5 course tasting menu and it was all spectacular. The 5 courses were, from start to finish, as follows: first, a burrata with a roasted sun dried tomato garnish. Two empanadas (one spinach and one skirt steak, al cuchillo) accompanied with a jam. Third was a small gazpacho that served as a nice palette cleanser. Main course was a glazed short rib with a side of mashed potatoes. And lastly we had the famous cheesecake and the chocolate mousse bombón. The flavor combination between the burrata and the sundried tomato was truly outstanding. It was paired with a crisp white wine called Catena White Clay. The empanadas were good. Being from Argentina myself, I'm a very tough critic with this item. I am not a fan of fried empanadas as we typically eat them baked back at home. So this dish was good but not my personal style. Regardless, the steak empanada was paired perfectly with a red wine called "El Barranco" by El Enemigo. The short rib, which unfortunately I forgot to photograph, was nicely glazed and fall off the bone tender. The mashed potato's had a little bit of bacon on top which added a nice salty flavor to them. This dish was paired with another red from the region. The cheesecake recipe has won awards I was told and I completely understood why. Perfectly creamy but not too sweet. Topped off with what I believe was a layer of membrillo. Wow. What a dish. Paired with a Madeira wine from Portugal. Overall the meal was excellent. Service was great and attentive. And I highly recommend Casa Vigil and will be returning myself.

Went on a Sunday for brunch, not exactly brunch vibes or options But more so lunch although the options are what I'd expect on a dinner menu, however, everything was delicious! Extensive selection of wine, the aesthetics of the presentation was beautiful like everything was on display. The server was attentive and able To make recommendations. The burrata was my favorite with glazed tomatoes! We also had empanadas, split the 40 day dry aged braised angus costilla (huge portion), and had grilled artichoke. I didn't find the grilled artichoke to be that tasty but everything else was great. To finish, we had the chocolate bombon. It was very empty, however, so were other establishments we visited that Sunday.. would highly recommend!

Definitivamente, voy a volver!
