I was scared to park anywhere else before my truck gets towed or booted possibly. Cute sign!!Ambiance: classy, yet urban. So you can dress up or come casual. But whatever you do, don't come half stepping or risk being whispered about (lol) the hostess welcomed me with a warm smile and was able to answer my question about if I can smoke a hookah at the bar before I could ask lolService: the lady who made my hookah was the bomb!!! I asked if I could use my own shisha since it's nicotine free and she did it with no problem! The hookah was smoking sooooo good omg ! she charges $45 for hookah. The bartender, Rose was so pleasant and had good convo for ya! She made me feel welcomed. Her mixology skills were superb to me! She put my order in and I was able to substitute the mashed potatoes for the Mac n cheese. I seen a previous review saying they couldn't substitute sides, well I'm here to tell u that's not true!Food: DELICIOUS!!!!! Everything about the stuffed salmon plate was good. Nothing was lacking. And I went on a Tuesday evening. So I'm sure it's still great on a busy night. The Mac n cheese was cheesy and good, the salmon was cooked but not overcooked, the two shrimp on top was juicy and flavorful. I think it was stuffed with some kind of cheese filling. The asparagus was good too. The customer next to me at the bar said his burger and fries were very good. Did not disappoint, still up to the standards of all the other CM chickens i've visited. Food 5/5: We weren't too hungry so we both opted for the combo meal. It included your choice of chicken (wings, drums, or tenders), a side, some crispy rolls, the radishes (my fav!), and a drink. Great deal, nice little lunch. The perfect amount of food and variety. The chicken was crispy and sauced perfectly. The rice complimented well with the chicken, the flavor can be a lot without it. Service 5/5: Extremely friendly! The gentleman who helped us that day was super kind and happy to assist us. Vibe 5/5: This location was clean and casual. It had nice vibrant colors that were fun and added to the energy there. They have a typical fast-casual operation, you order your food at the counter, pay, and then they bring it out to you. They have quite a few options but the man working the counter was nice and helpful in answering all of our questions. I opted for the spicy tenders with fries, extra pickles, and an extra side of pimento mac & cheese. It was a pretty solid lunch and went perfectly with their sweet tea and lemonade mix. Looking around all of my friends also liked their food as well. All in all, we had a solid dining experience. Clarence B. "Found this restaurant during a weekend getaway with wifey, among a collection of restaurants that neither of us had tried within walking distance from our hotel in Midtown. We discussed, she won and we tried Johnnys. We arrived just after a couple and were seated almost immediately. The decor was red and black and similar to a modern diner, with 90s Rand B playing softly through the restaurant speakers. Our waitress was positive and highly informed suggested and we ordered fried biscuits glazed with cinnamon and sugar. We followed the appetizer with entrees of a Sweet potato waffle and buffalo chicken strips, and fried fish and seasoned waffle fries. Know before you order: Each dish had lots of choices to amplify each dish. Some choices included the type of seasoning for the chicken; the pieces of chicken; the flavor of the glaze of fried biscuits; the flavor of the waffle- and may have an additional charge. The food: Well first, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs! The fried biscuit dish we ordered as an appetizer was huge and the fried, cinnamon glazed biscuits were delicious and filling! Then our entrees arrived. Wifey tapped out and asked that her meal be wrapped up to be eaten later- turned out to be a bad choice as the fish and fries didn't microwave well so we were not able to enjoy them.I was surprised about the presentation of the waffle. It was very pretty but with the addition of the ice cream I couldn't fully enjoy the savory and sweet combination of the waffle syrup and spicy chicken I looked forward to as the sweetness and the temperature of the ice cream overwhelmed the dish and they were served separately to preserve the ice cream. It wasn't bad just not what I was hoping for. So I ate the chicken separately and enjoyed the seasoning and crunch of the chicken. I like the flavor of the waffle with the syrup, whipped cream, powered sugar and caramel sauce- but I removed the ice cream and sweet potatoes half-way in. For me it was too much. Bottom line: go to this restaurant expect to have good food, good service, a higher bill than we expected but an over all good experience."

Daniel B. "I give Hattie B's Hot Chicken in West Midtown a solid four stars. The food and service were good. If you've never had Hattie B's before, it's definitely worth trying. 'Nuff said. If you want details, keep reading. For those unfamiliar, Hattie B's is a popular Nashville hot chicken chain from Nashville, Tennessee. Hot chicken is spicy fried chicken. At the time of writing this, there are two Hattie B's locations in Atlanta: (1) this one in Westside which opened on August 3, 2022 and (2) the original ATL location on Moreland Ave on the east side, which opened in July 2018: https://bit.ly/3UZWjNYIn addition to this location, I've been to the Atlanta East location and one of the five Nashville locations (Melrose): https://bit.ly/49BPc2SThe biggest difference between this location and the other locations I've visited was the restaurant was mostly empty when I arrived. There were only two people ahead of me in line. I showed up on a Monday at 6:07pm. The restaurant got busier over the next couple hours, but it never got crowded. A long line never built up that I saw. Before we left around 8:15pm, we reentered the line to order dessert and again, there were only a couple folks in front of us.I came here for the Damon Stoudamire Coach's Show (Georgia Tech men's basketball head coach). I forgot this Hattie B's had opened until I saw the posts on X (Twitter), from Georgia Tech, advertising this show being held at Hattie B's in West Midtown. So, the partnership between Hattie B's and Tech worked, at least on me. They had us in their semi-private room in the back. Nice little setup with a giant TV.Tech's posts about the Coach's Show said to download the Hattie B's app for a $10 reward. We did that, but learned you only get that $10 reward after you spend $100. Oh well. We did, however, redeem free desserts. All you have to do is install the Hattie B's app and register for the "Coop Club." I had to enter my name, email address, phone number, and credit card info for rewards points tracking. There's a small dedicated parking lot with free parking, but it only has nine spaces (including one handicap spot). Unsurprisingly, it was full when I drove by. My friend and I both parked close to the restaurant on 10th St NW. Street parking is enforced Monday-Saturday, 7am-10pm; Sunday and official city holidays are exempt. You can pay with your phone or at the kiosk. I used my phone. I chose 3 hours and it cost $6.35 total = $6.00 parking + $0.35 convenience fee. Parking was by Parking.com (aka SP+ Parking and Passport Parking). There were plenty of empty spaces on the street, so we had no problem finding a spot. On my way in, I noticed a few cars temporarily parked on the street to pick up to-go orders. Additional parking is available in the deck across the street, attached to the Osprey apartment complex. Here's what we had:* The Sandwich (Fried), mild ($12.00), with side (comes with one) of Pimento Mac & Cheese, and Nashville Comeback sauce* Small Dark, medium ($10.00) with sides (comes with two) of Crinkle-Cut Fries and Black Eyed Pea Salad, and Honey Mustard* Wings, mild ($13.00) with sides (comes with two) of Creamy Cole Slaw and Southern Greens, and Ranch Sauce* Banana Pudding ($4.50)* Peach Cobbler ($4.50)* Fountain drinks ($3.00 each)For their chicken, Hattie B's offers no spice - akin to regular Southern fried chicken - and then five spice levels. I went with mild this time because I was eating in front of Coach Stoudamire and with other Tech staff and administrators, while a show was being recorded and broadcast. If you like spicy food, I recommend medium or hot. Coach Stoudamire had a basket of tenders and all four dipping sauces - Ranch, Honey Mustard, Blue Cheese, and Nashville Comeback. The latter is made with mayonnaise, honey, and a "signature" spice blend. It's similar to Zaxby's Zax Sauce. On the show before the Coach's Show, 680 The Fan host Chris Mooneyham mentioned the sweet tea at least two times, so if you're into that, get you some. Same price as the fountain drinks: $3 each, self-serve unlimited. The fountain drinks were basic Coke products (two machines).Everything was good, including the sides and desserts. When it comes to the chicken, it's really what you're into. For example, my wife isn't as big on Hattie B's chicken sandwich like I am. It comes with slaw and Comeback sauce and a couple pickles are toothpicked on top. I find Hattie B's chicken sandwich to be more filling than Chick-fil-A and Popeyes' chicken sandwiches, and I really like the slaw with it. The wings are "jumbo" whole wings, each with a wingette (flat) and drumette, and three come per basket. The dark meat chicken here is also a very good choice. You can't go wrong with it. As far as the sides and desserts, they're all equally delicious to me with no real standout. The collards do have some heat to them.Service was great. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, polite, and attentive."

We ordered main dishes: chicken tikka masala, mutton biriyani, chicken 65, and palak dal. We also ordered beef, chicken, and veggie samosas and gulab jamun. Positives/favorite dishes: mutton biriyani, chicken 65, and palak dal, veggie samosa. Spice level was great, it really sneaks up on you! Portion sizes for each dish are large enough to feed a family of four! Least favorite: beef and chicken samosa- both samosas did not have much flavor and wasn't our favorite.Chicken tikka masala- we didn't like this dish as much as the others was because it wasn't creamy enough and it did not come with plain rice. I ordered the Fat Boy burger without onions, regular fries and a Heath Bar Artichoke Blast. I went through the drive-thru with an expectation to wait, and the wait didn't feel terribly long. You'll need to be patient with ordering because the person taking my order was not in a hurry. This didn't bother me, but if you're in a hurry, the Burger King across the street might be a better bet. The food was ordinary fast food. The burger tasted old, neither the buns nor the meat patties had not been warmed and were definitely not fresh. The fries were very hot, but unseasoned and I'm guessing the reason I had to wait. The Artic Blast was ice cream deliciousness, and I would come back for this item only. Zesto knows ice cream, baby! I'm glad I finally gave Zesto a try. The location is near the Georgia Aquarium and next to the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Centennial Park. That being said, I really hope they get the foot traffic needed to keep the open and their business going strong because the food is truly amazing. Now to the food, after illegally parking, I went in and placed my order (sorry I didn't take pics). The inside of this establishment was well lit, clean, and service was pleasant and fast. This was great because of my parking situation. Got back to the office and was in awe at how huge the bacon cheddar chicken sandwich was. It came loaded with bacon+cheddar cheese+lettuce+tomato+buttermilk ranch, and I also got a side of the hand cut fries. Everything was truly amazing. After scrolling the food images, it was an easy decision on where we would be eating. LoL. Delilah's Everyday Soul sits on Chattahoochee within the shared kitchen area they have inside of The Works; this makes it not only easy to find but provides easy access to parking. To note, the first two hours of parking is free. Delilah's Everyday Soul sits in the back corner and wasn't hard to find. The area is open and clean and has a simplistic design that doesn't crowd the space. Walking up to the register, I was greeted by Amir who was very pleasant and welcomed me to Delilah's Everyday Soul. Though the menu isn't an extensive restaurant menu it has all the key points for a great soul food plate. I love the strategic approach presented by the menu curation. After a few moments of scrolling I decided on the 3 Wing (well done) Half Dinner which comes with Cornbread for $15. After making my decision, I placed my order and stood to the side as it was being made. As I ordered my wings well done, I understood it would be a little longer on the wait time. Amir joked with me saying, "you want burnt wings?" LoL. The area within The Works is not too roomy, however, Delilah's Everyday Soul is right next to one of the patio doors so it's easy to wait on the patio until your order is ready. Once my order was ready, my name was called and I was presented with 3 (three) hot sauce options. Listen, the art of choosing the right hot sauce is one that most restaurants miss, however, Delilah's Everyday Soul understood the assignment and I was excited. Ha!The Food:Babeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, whoever's grandmother made that buttery, thick, pound cake like cornbread made it with love. I'm talking about the perfect balance of corn and sweet with a cake like texture that still has the crumble bottom of pan fried cornbread. Yes, the cornbread alone has me planning my next trip to Delilah's Everyday Soul. The wings were a palate pleasing experience as well. The wings are normal size which I am super happy about as I am tired of pigeon sized wings. They are meaty and even with the crispy batter outside as I requested, they maintained a high moisture level within. Oh yes! This is how you do a soul food wing derived from love and compassion... The flavor profile presents as a well balanced blend. It's not overbearing and allows space for the natural chicken flavor to still remain in the game. From the service, the working ambiance, to the wings and cornbread. My trip to Delilah's Everyday Soul was satisfying, hunger taking, and overall pleasant. Well worth the $15 price point. I can eat mcdeezies 20 nug, oreo mcflurry and a med fries, and be 80% full8pc wings, Mac n cheese, hot spicy: ooooh she's spicy! the mayo based sauce reminded me of zaxbys sauce. its okay. the chicken is so good; theres no need for saude. Mac was cooked al dente. it looks nasty but it tastes amazing! cheesy and chewy. downside- super oily.that fried chicken is juicy. the skin tastes like lays! it's so crunchy and the numbing spice is perfection. the chicken is a contender to scovilles and hattie b's, not gonna lie. only thing is that it's really oily but still, dang I'm definitely coming backI N S I D Elots of seating available. 4 seater tables, mostly booths interior is renovated and looks decent. gives me Chipotle vibes L O C A T I O N in the trader Joe's shopping center so plenty of parkingP R I C E 22"

Andrea M. "The honey boi sandwich was superb. I liked how they asked if we wanted white or dark meat. Not a lot of chicken sandwich places have this option. The chicken (dark meat is the way to go) was oh so juicy and tender. Each bite was messy with the garlic honey butter sauce. The smokey lime mayo also didn't help. Just have some napkins handy. And with each hearty chicken bite, the sesame slaw and sweet pickles provided nice flavor and texture contrasts. They make this sucker when you order so it won't be an immediate turnaround. But when you do get it, it will be pipping hot.The interior had some seats, but there were also outdoor seats with a good amount under the covered patio."

Erica E. "A national treasure of a business. I try to stay away from fried foods these days, Lord knows I do... BUT. A craving is a craving. And recently I found myself craving some fried fish and wings, and I only wanted them from JJ's. So that's just what I made happen. With so many locations around the city, this location was closest to me at the time. I decided to order online and it was such a smooth process! I ordered and scheduled my pickup time for about 10-15 minutes later. Located in a plaza next to a gas station, this place was on swole lol. It was super easy to get a parking space out front though and there were a number of spots still open on the side of the building. Now, there was a lot going on in that parking lot but to me, like the guy selling toilet paper packs and body wash lol, that just showed me that I was in the right place. The interior of the restaurant may not be much to see, but it isn't made to be a seated dining establishment. There are no chairs, just ample open space, a kitchen you can look into, a table where you can season your food, a table full of condiments and a bathroom in the back. That's it, and that's all they need tbh. There were about 10 other folks inside and everyone was patiently awaiting their orders. The menus were on display and super easy to read if you didn't know what you wanted to order. Lucky for me, I ordered in advance so I stepped into the 2nd line to pay. The checkout process was super smooth and I was given a number + a ticket, and told to listen up for my number. I feel like I only spent about 6-8 minutes waiting for my food as I people-watched and looked at the wall art that looks like it was fresh out of '91 lol. I was listening for my number and didn't hear it. Luckily, I was looking towards the kitchen and the gentleman who was calling numbers looked me directly in my face after calling a number and motioned for me to come over. I swear he didn't say my number but I went over anyways, lol. Low and behold, it was my order! How did he know it was me? lol. He gave me the biggest smile and reassured me that it was my order, making sure that I saw where to get condiments to go. I ordered a catfish + 3 wing combo and swapped out the fries for fried okra and baby. WOW. What do they put in that batter?! I added extra seasoning on the way out (because, duh! You can't leave without a little extra) and I swear that I'll never get tired of that flavor. I've had JJ Fish & Chicken a number of times but I think this was my best yet. Portions were plentiful, the food was incredibly fresh and stayed hot for my entire drive. The fish was perfectly fried and flavorful, super crunchy. The okra pieces were huge and the wings were not little baby pieces like I often come across these days. I really can't rave enough about this location!"

Shanika G T. "My visit to SGC Chicken and Seafood was amazing. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. The service was perfect, and my order didn't take too long to cook. I tried the salmon egg rolls and jumbo shrimp, and they were so good that I regretted finishing them because I wanted more. I also had the most amazing turkey smash burger and it was soooo good!!I'm already looking forward to returning to try everything else on the menu. Highly recommended!!"

Jerry W. "Overview: Chicken and Waffles are not their specialty....even though its their nameMeal/Time: Dinner/Wednesday night 540PMSeated: 542PMOrdered: 548PMFirst ordered item arrived:  556PMDecor/Atmosphere: feels like a speakeasy with a diner attached to it. There was an attached bar with music playing. The bar area appears to be the focal point of establishment. Staff seemed to congregate there.  There is outside dining, but the AC is on inside.Service/ Front of the House: we were greeted and seated promptlyService/Serving Staff: Dashawn was friendly and helpful, but after dropping off the food he did not come back to check on us or to ask if we would like refills of the bottomless drinksFood:Starters -LOADED FRIES(Bacon, green onions, cheese sauce, crispy fries, BBQ sauce + Ranch dressing on side) - $12.00  There was no ranch dressing on the side.  The waffle fries came out lukewarm.  It was served in a room temperature skillet. Could have used a few minutes under the salamander.  The fries were flavorful with sweet BBQ Sauce and crunchy bacon.  Since the dish was not really hot, the cheese sauce was very lumpy and thick on top of the fries, but the bottom fries were sitting in a cheese liquid.FAMOUS CHICKEN & WAFFLES2 piece dark with buttermilk waffles and lemon pepper sauce $17.00.  The waffles were pretty good, a little bit on the thin but crispy side.  There was a hint of vanilla which made it interesting.  It was served with 2 containers of maple syrup and 1 of drawn butter.  I did not get any lemon pepper sauce.  The chicken was awesome... nice thin seasoned batter.  Crispy, juicy and fresh hot from the fryer.  Definitely a winner.Bottomless soda, ice tea, lemonade, Arnold Palmer $4.00... but did not check back to see if I wanted a refill.Value:  A little expense for 2 pieces of good chicken.Restroom: 2 unisex restrooms.  Pretty spacious.  Floors were wet by the window and there was trash by the door.  The sink was large.  Soap and Paper Towels were full.   Will I come back?: I would probably not go back...NOTE: they add an 18% Gratuity to all bills regardless of party size."
