"Cute little spot. They offer a wide variety of coffees and teas. We came for breakfast, and it was pretty good. The side of chicken sausage was great. French toast had large portion sizes. Service was friendly."
"A friend and I visited a month back on a weekday evening - and boy, it was busy even then. We did get seats fortunately. The place is a vibe with the dim lights and interiors. I found it pretty. We didn't want to have food - we just got beverages and desserts. I got a Mexican hot chocolate and my friend got a Cappuccino. The Mexican hot chocolate was interesting with the cinnamon and chocolate flavors. You must appreciate both to appreciate this. Also, this is a dessert in itself so be mindful while ordering. For desserts, I had ordered a Mississippi Mud pie (I believe that's what it is called - it's essentially a dense and rich chocolate cake) and my friend got the Tiramisu. My dessert ended up getting packed as is because the hot chocolate was a lot. The next day, it tasted alright. Not as decadent as I imagined it to be. The tiramisu is a guaranteed hit. The space is cozy. The price point is okay ish. There's plenty of parking in the area. I just wish they did better with their coffee and beverages. For a cafe, I expect the beverage options to be top-notch. It doesn't impress there."

"I came here for my friend's birthday brunch this past Saturday afternoon. I came early about 20 minutes due to a miscommunication, but the staff took care of me during this period and gave me a free water.Parking is at an adjacent apartment/retail garage or at the intersection of Huff Road/Ellsworth Industrial Blvd for parallel parking. We had a party of 9, some of us showing up at different times. Our server Taylor did such a great job at attending to our table, with drink refills and food orders. Later I paid using Apple Pay and she was also helpful.I ordered a sweet tea as my drink, and it was delicious. It sounds like you have to pay for refills, so I didn't get one.For food, we shared the bread basket and I got the Shrimp & Crab Cake Benedict, Mac and Cheese as a side (of course), and the Peach Cobbler for dessert. Everything was so good. The portions are big, so just note that. I was worried the bread basket wouldn't be enough for 9, but I think we all got to try a little bit of each bread type. The dip they provided was very yummy. Overall, everyone at the table enjoyed their food, so I might consider returning to try more menu items - especially the fried green tomatoes."
"I had been here years ago and it was just ok, was hoping to be wowed this time, especially as the reviews have remained consistently good over the years.First, the interior is tired. It needs a deep clean, a fresh coat of paint, and a refresh. It looks dated and just tired. Light fixtures caked in dust, really beat up walls. Doesn't scream "high end" like the price point would require. The cocktails I remembered as being a bit meh from my last visit but tried again this time. They were fine, but not great and I'd probably just skip ordering a drink next time. Tried the King and a seasonal old fashioned. They need to get large ice cubes if they're going to have a seasonal old fashioned menu. Especially a restaurant at this price point. The salmon was really good. Great, even. The "cheesecake" isn't a cheesecake...it's like a blondie in texture and size.Overall it just wouldn't be my first choice in the area. Y'all grab a weekend with a deep cleaning company and buy a new ice tray and let's take it to the next level?"
"This shop in Decatur promised distinctive flavors. My service experience was not great. I stood around waiting for at least ten minutes without even being acknowledged, which I think was partially due to online orders as there weren't that many people actually there. Eventually, I ended up with a couple of strong flavors, one berry-based sorbet and their version of mint chip, which had kind of a baking chocolate chip and a strong aftertaste but was interesting. It was on the pricey side, though my two scoops looked more like four so I can't say they skimped on portion size.It delivered the promised flavor and their ice cream cookie sandwiches looked nice. This was a good place for vegan and gluten-free needs with a variety of interesting options. They just need to make sure they can keep the line moving."
"This spot is in a cramped area; there are a few parking spaces in the back, but based on my experience they are likely to fill quickly. The menu variety was considerable, and with the entire menu being gluten-free and a good number of vegetarian and occasional vegan options as well. If you like corn, you'll be happy.A got a tropical fruit juice, which always adds to the vibe. I ordered their version of a domino arepa, typically this is a bean and cheese combo but theirs had plantains and some sauteed vegetables as well. However, I was a bit surprised as I thought I might be getting a couple but there was only one. For what I spent, I wasn't that full. But it was tasty, and this is a cuisine I wish I could find more easily."
"NICE CREAM! A black owned ice cream shop right down the road from GSU. The whole street is what we like to call "resturant row" there is so many options all walking distance from one another. I promised my partner I would buy him ice cream and we decided on this business as it was fairly close to our hotel. Once we came inside we were told about their donut ice cream sandwich. Though that sounded delicious it also sounded like a LOT of food. We each got a scoop. My partner got praline and I got the Cuban coffee ice cream. We each got a different topping on top too. Don't get me wrong it was a good spot with flavorful cream. However, there was no seating inside. This is a need especially since a lot of tourists come around this area for food. I wasn't super impressed by this ice cream experience."
"It's a bit hard to find as it's off the main street, but it's worth looking for. I arrived nowhere near closing time to find they were running out of some gelato flavors (hopefully more coming???), but what I got was excellent. The texture of all the flavors was exquisitely smooth, and the pure dairy flavor shone through on my stracciatella. I opted for a non-dairy dark chocolate flavor and felt no disappointment in having done so. Various cakes and things were available in a freezer as well. They had some indoor and outdoor seating, and the price was premium but not excessive for what was clearly a top-quality dessert."
"This is an amazing authentic Jamaican food restaurant. It is located in a strip mall with tons of parking available. There is a decent sized dining area with a full bar with seating. The restaurant has kind of a hip club vibe, with Caribbean and R&B music playing throughout the dining area. They have live music on weekends. They serve Jamaican food favorites such a curry chicken, ox tail, Jamaican beef patty, curry goat, snapper, rice and peas, sweet plantains, jerk shrimp, and salmon. hey also have some savory signature cocktails to wash your food down. The staff there was very friendly and courteous. I ended up ordering The Jerk Chicken with a side of cabbage and sweet plantains. They bring you a bottle of water and a piece of their corn bread with your meal. It took about 10 minutes for my meal to be ready. The chicken was exquisite, so delicious. There is a bottle of jerk sauce on each table if you are looking for more. The chicken was tasty and flavorful, with a little kick. The cabbage was good, but different than I am use to. This cabbage was crunchy. The complimentary cornbread was really good. It had real corn in it and was drizzled in butter.I really like this restaurant. I like the vibe. I like the food and I like the service. I highly recommend checking this place out. I will definitely be back soon."
"The interior decor is beautiful. From the outside, this place does not look like much, but we were very much impressed with the interior. They have some great breakfast/brunch options, including Nutella crepes with plantain instead of banana, avocado toast, eggs Benedict, omelettes, and more! Waitress was attentive and our food didn't take long to be prepared."
"This was my first time coming here, but my friend recommended it and said it's absolutely amazing. I have never tried to savory crêpe, but wanted to give it a chance. I ordered the mushroom melt, and it was absolutely amazing! I can't help but also have a sweet crêpe because that's my usual go to so I ordered the one with Nutella. It was also very tasty though I do like more Nutella in my crêpe. I also got a house coffee which I enjoyed. I love the decor and feel of the restaurant. The staff there was extremely kind, personable, and quick. I'd highly recommend coming here and I will be back!"
"We had dinner reservation for 2 at 7:00 pm on Saturday, 12/2/23. The service was great! Valet parking. Unassuming from the outside. Very nice on the inside! Tall leather booths. Five stars for the steak. Four stars for the sides. We got way too much food, but we had leftovers! Here's what we got:- Tuna Tartare ($18): Good!- French Onion Soup ($12): Tasty!- Burrata & Prosciutto ($16): The burrata was great. Wish the prosciutto was saltier and had more taste.- 12 oz Filet Mignon ($72): Very, very good. - 16 oz 101 Steak Delmonico ($72) with Bearnaise ($3): Super good! The sauce was good too, but not necessary.- Creamy Spinach ($13): This was actually gross. It was a tiny bit better the next day, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.- Cheddar Mac-N-Cheese ($12): Fine, better as leftovers.- Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Ginger Soy ($14): Super delicious.- Chocolate Layer Cake ($12): OMG. So good. The salt was all on the edge, which I'm sure looks great for decoration, but it made a few bites way too salty. The salt needed to be spread out more.We would definitely go back, just wouldn't get the creamed spinach."

This is an awesome spot to go of you want to get some time away from the hustle and bustle of the Atlanta scene. It's a good date spot, and it has that type of low key and intimate vibe.It is in a strip mall type of situation so there is free parking. The spot is a little tucked away though. It's not at the front of the parking lot so just be aware that you have to go into the complex to find it. It has a lot of different places to sit, inside...outside... in the back...at the bar... etc. The restaurant may seem like it has a lot of little duck off areas, a lot of corners that you can find a table at, so that is not a bad thing because you may not want to be in the midst of a crowd all the time.Cookies and cream - this was great, it was full of cookies and a lot of flavor. I would definitely suggest this.White chocolate raspberry - This one was the one. My waitress suggested it and this hit all the notes.... it felt like a sin trying to eat it, thats how you know it was good lol. super creamy and subtly sweet with the raspberry tinge. Cookies and Cream - This was the first one I tried and it was super solid. I love cookies and cream ice cream and this was very reminiscing of that in a very good way.Overall if you want a good slice of cake (even though its almost $15) then this is a good spot. If you want an out of the way area to have some convo, this is a good spot.

A+ dining experience! From the warm greeting at the door to the "well wishes" upon leaving, I am not at all surprised that this resturant has top reviews. The menu is creative, boasting soulful favorites with a modern twist - don't forget to add the bread basket to any meal for a treat (and dessert with the apple jam) I loved the Oxtails (could not resist) over the vegetable fried rice and bok choy ... I was concerned it would be "strange" or more on the Asian side but the fusion was perfect and vegetables were not over bearing but subtle. The new spring cocktail menu was tempting and impressive- but I had the bread so watching the calories lolI highly recommend for a girls brunch, night out, drinks or date night as the building was buzzing with many lively laughing people and delicious food aromas air.

Came here for dinner and it was delicious. Get the cheeseball appetizer, it was amazing. My friend got the brisket sand which and ate every last bit. Another got the brisket ragu and it was finger licking good. Every cocktail we got was on point and every entrée was perfect.

Yeah, sure, there was a line, but it is just the testament to the amazing ice cream that is available within this local ice creamery. The have a fun selection of flavor offerings and are happy to let you taste a few to make sure you choose the right one. I went for a classic mint chocolate chip which was sublime. I was pleased with my flavor choice and grateful that they even have a mini-sized scoop, which was perfect for me! I'd go back in a heartbeat!!

Parking is very limited. There are only 4 parking spots in the back but the other patrons found parking somewhere.Order in the front and they will give you a number. Waiter will bring your food along with any sauces that you request.I ordered the Asado Negro Arepa with the Guava Empanada. The arepa is loaded with meat and grilled onions. I got some garlic sauce and mango habanero sauce to give it a kick. The arepa tastes great. The guava empanada is extremely hot so let it cool down first or use dinner ware. The empanada is good as well.

My kids were able to find their favorite flavors and seemed happy with their treats BUT...I did not go into the business. The closest parking was a block away and before I was fully parked, a guy rode over to my vehicle on a scooter and started telling me how terrible this parking lot was and pointed out the two other vehicles already booted. Scooter man proceeded to ask me if I ever help out the homeless and asked for cash, and had a hard time accepting my no answer. Across the street from the public parking lot is John Calhoun Park. I noticed numerous homeless sleeping in the shade and another covered in a wheelchair next to the street. My initial thought was to find another ice cream option because I didn't feel comfortable leaving my vehicle and walking a couple blocks over to Sweet Stacks. My daughters (ages 6 & 7) had been drinking lots of water because it was a hot day and had to pee really bad. I circled the block and let the girls out, my oldest was able to handle payment. To our dismay, the bathrooms at Sweet Stack are for employees only. My idea of a fun treat was very underwhelming. Sweet Stack might be more of a locals only shop.

Voga Italian Gelato is a great little spot to drop by for a sweet bite in the Inman Park neighborhood - the menu is basic and straightforward. The affogato comes with 3 options - Milano, Florence or Roma - all depending on personal preference of hazelnut, chocolate or caramel. It also helps with narrowing down gelato flavors since they are already suggested on the menu for you. I don't know why I'm not here more often but if you're ever in the hood and craving gelato (versus Ben and Jerry's ice cream down the street...) then Voga is for you!

"I wasn't aware that The Yard was a franchise, and there are several locations across the U.S.We stopped by after a meeting, and we shared the Sea Turtle - this came with butter pecan and praline ice cream in a chocolate-iced mason jar that's also rolled in crushed waffle cone; this is also topped with whipped cream, caramel and chocolate drizzles, and 2 Turtles. This was definitely a decadent dessert, and very easily shared between 2-3 people. The menu also offers shakes, sundaes, floats, edible cookie dough, and even GF and vegan options. You go through the line and get up to 2 samples of the ice cream; you place your order and pay, and your number will be called out when it's ready.Note that there's a password to use the restroom on the receipt.Plenty of seating inside. There's also a rinse station to clean out your souvenir mason jar, which I thought was pretty convenient.I do wish they properly stock napkins and paper towels, though, as they were non-existent.+shareable ice cream creations+friendly service+rinse station available for souvenir mason jars+lack of napkins"
"Absolutely MASSIVE cookies. I was recommended this spot and decided to venture out on my way home one day. The location is really odd, as it's behind the line of restaurants and into a literal garage. However, once you find it it's very much worth it.I got the red velvet/vanilla swirl and the biscoff cookies, as it was my first time here. They were both served fresh and warm and gooey - basically to the point of falling apart. If you like cookies that are almost slightly raw and doughy, this is definitely the spot for you. The thickness of the cookies is great, and they are PACKED with chocolate chips / toffee bits / whatever is in the cookie you choose. They are certainly very sweet, but satisfy that cookie craving so well. This might be my favorite, or one of my favorite of the (literally) big cookie chains out there - think Crumbl, Levain, Chip, etc - be sure to check it out!"
"Friendly service. Small coffee shop. They sell an assortment of your typical pastries (croissants, muffins, cookies) as well as a few specialty toasts and drinks. We got3 different types of toasts. All had a thick slice of nicely toasted bread. Crispy outer edge and soft, fluffy middle. Yum. avocado toast: a good hefty portion of avocado with red pepper spices. Garlic egg toast: a good portion of egg. Boiled although I did expect fried or scrambled eggs, but still nice. I didn't taste the 'garlic'. Apricot&brie: didn't taste the Brie really and they gave a little too much apricot. Churro latte: not too sweet. Could really taste the cinnamon Purple Heart: much better when mixed thoroughly or suggest not using a straw so you can taste the taro sweet cream fullyStrawberry lemonade: excellent. Not too sweet or tart. Plenty of parking since it's in a shopping center however, the seating in the actual café is not desirable. Hard wooden benches and only a few small tables. I wouldn't even call them tables. They were more like TV tray type contraptions. The space inside is a bit tight , so even having 10 people in the café felt crowded. Overall, the food and drinks were good, but IF we visited again, I would take it to go."
"I was meeting a friend in VaHi so we decided to check out Paolos! You can sometimes get lucky and find street parking in this neighborhood, but this time, I ended up parking residential just down the road. The shop itself is pretty small, but I was wowed by the extensive menu and products they have to offer! There were so many flavors of ice cream, and I also love the different Italian products like dried pasta they had for sale. I ended up getting the tiramisu flavor and we sat outside at one of the small tables available. There's also a huge banner outside that explains the owner Paolo's story and how his stores in the Bahamas and Atlanta came to be! My ice cream was so creamy and smooth and I loved the addition of coffee powder to give the ice cream a not overly sweet taste! Loved the vibes, and definitely a new favorite of mine."
"One of my best girls gave me a couple of cake pops from Sweet Cheats when she came into town from Atlanta. They were yummy! Can't comment on service or atmosphere, but friend tells me this is her favorite bakery in the neighborhood. The cake pops were beautifully decorated, with swirls of chocolate and spatters of color. The inside cake was moist and very chocolate-y. The chocolate coating wasn't waxy or any of the usual problems you encounter with that kinda stuff, either, so that was great!I look forward to stopping by when I go to visit in the future! I love single serving desserts and these were really solid. :)"
"We stopped by here on our way to the airport and the food was delicious. Authentic mexican food. Chips and 4 types of salsa COMPLIMENTARY were amazing! I tried 4 tacos, birria (amazing, cheesy, flavorful) barbacoa, shrimp and asada. They were all very delicious. I really loved them all and I am not easy on my ratings when it comes to mexican food! Definitely recommend trying this small business!"
"Lovely dinner with the family. We came here on a Monday night and so the restaurant was not quite as busy as the weekend, when we were turned away. The service is excellent. We had a bottle of red from Cot Du Rhône which was excellent. I had to start with escargo for the appetizer which were wonderful, then had the seafood linguine, and finished with crème brûlée which was divine. The owner came by to speak to us a few times and made us feel welcome. Can't wait to come again."
"Hot summer days mean cooling down with some good soft-serve ice cream! If you're into matcha, this is it!AMBIANCE/SEATINGsmall and cozy shop with minimalistic wood seating areas. A seating area at the front with two tables requires patrons to take their shoes off. I love that this idea was incorporated into the shop. STAFFThere were about 3-4 staff members when I visited on a Sunday evening. They were friendly and quick. My review is solely for their soft-serve ice cream.* Ube* Mango* Vanilla * MatchaThe soft-serve ice creams are delicious. Especially the matcha (green tea) and Ube. These two have the most flavors. The mango tasted more like a sorbet to me, but it was still tasty. The vanilla is subtle but creamy. Matcha Cafe Maiko is a great ice cream shop to get something to cool down on these hot and humid summer days."
"This Ethiopian place had a somewhat confusing menu which buried the veggie combo that I (and probably plenty of other people) order at the end. While other parts of the menu promised fresh cooking, mine was made with veggie sides that were already made and which arrived almost instantly. The variety was quite splendid, but I found the results overly salty and not quite as flavorful as I'd hoped overall. The injera on the side seemed more wheat than teff. My tea had a hit of ginger combined with a basic teabag.I guess my bar for Ethiopian is a little higher than most as I've had plenty of it before. For the price, this place was okay but I had hoped for better. It may still be the best in the area as this is not an easy cuisine to find."
"Pie like you very much, Doodle Pies!My family and I didn't get dessert at dinner, so we stopped by Doodle Pies for something sweet. Doodle Pies offers sweet and savory pies as well as coffee. You can even build your own pie. The space was clean and bright. We arrived close to their closing time, so they were low on options. Understandably so. We went with a few of their signature pies; peach, pb&j, and rocky road. All the pies were delicious. However, my favorites were rocky road and pb&j. They were so creamy and the flavors were on point! Service was great. I would definitely return if I'm back in the area!"
"I dined in at Batsi today (a Sunday afternoon) with two other ladies for a late brunch (2 pm ish) to celebrate my friend's birthday. It's $20 to valet and they make you pay it up front with cash, cash app or zelle. You can also park for free across the street and walk over. I opted to valet for convenience. They will check your ID and it is a 21 and over establishment. The security person was friendly. We were initially seated inside and I noticed the nice ambiance, velvet décor and a few dancers. However the music was really loud and didn't seem to match the atmosphere (it was giving club vibes, we heard Sexxy Red, Cardi B, & Latto etc.) so we switched over to the heated patio area. It was a bit warm, but we liked it better because we could hear our conversation over the music more. While waiting for our food a friendly photographer came over to take our picture for free. That was cool and I noticed that he and another guy were capturing photos throughout the restaurant. Our sever, Tania was very friendly and accommodating. She also helped me to select my brunch entrée and it was delicious. I DEFINITELY recommend the chicken biscuit (without the egg on it, I asked for mine on the side) and loved the blonde gravy. The potatoes were cooked perfectly with onions and peppers and complimented the well seasoned chicken. I decided not to drink any mimosas or alcohol because I felt that ALL of their beverages were pricey. One mimosa was $12, the mixed drinks were $16-20, and Coca-Cola product soft drinks and bottled Fiji water were $5.20% gratuity was added automatically, but it was worth it for the service received. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It's on the pricier side but I do recommend going for brunch based on my experience today."
"I've been here twice over the summer, with my most recent visit being last night, and must say that I was super pleased with not only the ice cream but also with the service I received. The staff are friendly and I like that they have no issues engaging with the customers and make it a point to answer any questions. There are a lot of options to choose from and you're able to customize your sweet treat with so many mix-ins ranging from fruit to candy to nuts. I loved watching them make the roll ice cream and the first time I went, one of the staff members explained how the process worked. While I thought I wanted to try a blaster (basically a milkshake) but I stuck with a regular cup of the vanilla ice cream and added Oreos and sprinkles because I just wanted a pop of color (plus sprinkles just make life so much better). The ice cream was sooo creamy and yummy and there was the perfect blend of Oreos. I was soooo happy and wished their was one closer to me because it's just that good! If you're lookin for some good ice cream, try Sweet Charlie's. You won't be disappointed!"
"A spoonful full of sugar makes the medicine go down. The medicine go down-wown .The medicine go down. In a most delightful way. These were my exact thoughts as I took the first bite of this Sugar Shane's chocolate chip cookie. My whole life's existence started to play out right before my eyes as to why I hadn't tried Sugar Shane's before now. These cookies were soooooo good, but at $4-$6 a cookie..come on now. Highway robbery, but how can you say no to your greedy gremlin?!!? I had to bite the bullet on this one. It's so much better than insomnia or Crumbl cookies, in my opinion. The ladies at the counter were so welcoming and pleasant. Even the customers that made a purchase before me were raving that Sugar Shane's were the truth. I'm definitely returning to try more cookies in their display."
"I love the coffee here and the baristas. I haven't had a single thing that I didn't like. I love the matcha latte's, hot and iced. I really like the Nutty Irishman. They also have delicious sweet treats and space to work if you need to."
"Went here based on recommendation from my cousin. Small space located in Cascade area. Very limited parking. There's a Wells Fargo plaza across the street that I used for parking. Not sure if that's part of an official parking lot for the business or not. This spot offered good energy and a cute quaint setup. I ordered oxtail lasagna and was not impressed at all. It was more of like a Deconstructed lasagna and it was very salty. When I mentioned its saltiness, the server did take it back and have it corrected. That was a plus. I saw them bring out some fries that looked fresh and home cut so I tried those. Listen. They did not disappoint. Try them! Last but not least.... The sangria! OMG!!! The bartender was behind the bar slanging them things and they were nothing less than amazing. Try the red one. You will thank me later."
"Such a cute bakery inside of the Interlock! I've visited Saint Germain a number of times and each visit is sweeter than the last. Before a recent event, my intern and I decided to start our morning off with some coffee and treats, and were so lucky that Saint Germain was open. With all of their beautifully crafted macarons, pastries and chocolate on display, it really is a dream come true for any folks who are lovers of sweets. I don't have a huge sweet tooth myself, but even I was tempted! One day I'll definitely have to indulge in some of those chocolates. Going along with its French theme, it definitely made me feel like I was back in Paris, if only for a moment. They offer a number of coffee options, teas and even hot chocolate to pair with your pastries, a perfect combo if you decide to take it to go or to sit on the patio of the Bellyard hotel. This visit, Jamesa and I both opted for lattes with oat milk, mine being decaf with english toffee. I'm limiting my caffeine intake and was nervous that our drinks would get mixed up but the lovely young woman behind the counter assured me that she'd clearly label them for us. We were there on a Sunday morning and wow, what a rush! She was handling the counter by herself and boy, were customers keeping her busy. She was truly taking it all in stride, hustling around getting all of the orders done with precision and a smile. Having worked behind a counter many times, this employee was truly a dream, even when other customers were getting a bit impatient. Our order took a few, but we were busy preparing for our event a few steps away so I told her to take her time. When I returned, she had our coffees prepped, (with my decaf clearly labeled as promised!) along with our warm croissants. She was so sweet, she even threw in a canele! Let me tell you, I've had caneles before but WOW - these were soooo delicious, I'm craving them as I write this. The croissants were huge, buttery, and just delicious, along with my latte which was the perfect start to a busy day.Truly a wonderful little spot filled with lots of big flavor - can't wait to return for more treats!"
"Tea leaf consistently has good boba and the tea itself. This specific location is close to all the food places on buford hwy. Plenty of parking in the complex. A lot of seating inside and great ambiance. They do have a self order kiosk (which wasnt the easiest boba kiosk i used). Lot of varieties of drink options. We tried the mango and super fruit tea. The drinks are refreshing and boba was good. Tad bit pricey compared to other boba places. But reflects in the quality IMO."
"When I was out looking for a drink after dinner, I came across Gokul Sweets and really didn't know it existed. I mean, there's ANOTHER Gokul Sweets location not even a mile away in the Patel Plaza. This location is closer to Cherians.I came on a Thursday evening right before they closed, and man, the colors! There's just so many snacks that range from the hot pink to the bright yellow, and they all catch your eye. My drinks plan went out the window and I decided to start selecting sweets from their displays. Tonight I got:Badam Tarbooz x 1 ($9.99/lb)Pista Barfi x 1 ($7.99/lb)Coconut Barfi x 1 ($7.99/lb)Kaju Pista Katri x 1 ($9.99/lb)Dry fruit milk shake x 1 ($5.50)Running down the list of desserts, the Badam Tarbooz was delicious! It looked like a small little slice of watermelon, and guess what? It TASTES like a little slice of watermelon. I laughed when I bit into it, shared some with my mom and sister, and they both laughed too. It's not at all what you expect, but it's dang good! The Pista (Green color) and Coconut (yellow color) Barfi squares are both very rich, and flavor of both are also really good. The pista is pistachio and the Coconut is, well, coconut. Both have sliced almonds covering them. I think I preferred the coconut one more of these two.The Kaju pista katri is also a pistachio flavored snack that is almost a tiny diamond shaped sandwich. You can peel these apart and eat each individual layer. I think the pistachio flavor here wasn't as pronounced but it also wasn't bad. Still, this was my least favorite snack. The Dry Fruit milk shake was surprisingly really good. Very slightly sweet, and filled with finely chopped nuts including cashew, pistachio and almond as well as spices that made me smile. If you like a sugary sweet drink, this may not be for you, but luckily they have several drinks to choose from.In addition to all the sweets i'm talking about, don't sleep on their actual meals. Gokul sweets throws down with all sorts of traditional indian and not so traditional dishes. I tried none of them this visit, but due tho their tues-thurs specials they mentioned to me, i'll be back to try them.Located off of Dekalb industrial way, right across the street from Waffle house, just before you reach Scott Blvd., it's a small little parking lot but you should be able to find a spot. Getting in and out aren't too bad either.I don't have anything bad to say about Gokul Sweets. I'm just sad that I didn't find it earlier"
"We were in the mood for a seafood boil bag and we stumbled upon rockin crab so we decided to stop in.The menu was pretty simple, and the portions were decent. Our server was Jada and she was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Jada made sone great suggestions and we ordered the perfect combinations in our seafood bags. We showed up on karaoke night which started at 7:20pm, so there was a live DJ doing karaoke and the music was pretty loud, but the crowd seem to enjoy it. In addition to karaoke it was kind of like an ole-fashion-singalong!The only thing I had a problem with was the condition. Of the bathrooms, they appeared that they were not attended to for the entire day.The food was great, we will definitely be back."
"If you know this chain restaurant, then you know that you don't need my review to trust the delicious food of Beto's.VIBE:Order at the counter and then grab your salsa, fill your drink, and pick a spot. It's a bit tighter in here than most restaurant spots, but the local feel is part of the attraction. The menu is posted pretty large right by the order counter to help you point and pick.DRINKS:They do have various flavors of Jarrito's and a few aguas frescas. The aguas and horchata are on the sweeter side, which seems to be more popular for most people anyways. The flavors are great!Fountain drinks are pretty reliable, and there are actually a few options for beer - bottled domestic bottles and even a Beto's lager.FOOD:The promise in the name holds at this place. The tacos are great!! What is most exciting about them is the amount of flavor, toppings, and texture packed in each bite of such a tiny handheld treat. There are a number of different tacos to choose from, including multiple vegetarian options, making it fun to mix and match.Chips and the salsa bar are fair game with your order, which makes for an added benefit at an order-at-the-counter spot that usually doesn't provide much service. All plates have an authentic feel. Even the soup comes as a huge serving with tortillas and onions on the side. The soup tastes as though it has been cooking together all the spices over time, and I'd highly recommend you order it for take away if you're sick because it's filled with carrots and chicken thigh.I almost didn't post this review yet because I wanted to be able to share more about the different menu options, but that just goes to show that there are tons of options. Beto's will do you right by the variety of quesadillas, tortas, tacos, and special plates. I want to go back and order the same things over and over, yet I know that I could spend every visit trying something new and be just as happy."
"My daughter saw this place randomly and she wanted some cupcakes. They don't have all items on the menu as more are provided on the counter for display. The box that they place the cupcakes in are so cute."
