Alison C. "I was thrilled to hear that Local Three was still around since my initial visit around 10 years ago. I was even more excited about the fact that they were still doing their unique brunch buffet in which patrons could walk through the kitchen and just pull small plates off the pass. It was such a fun experience that I really wanted to revisit. The restaurant was as I remembered it - sleek and rustic with a real Southern vibe. The service was friendly and engaging. However, I spent little time focusing on the staff or décor, because I could not wait to get into the kitchen and grab some food. There were just so many items, all broken into "Starter", "Breakfast", and "Lunch" portions of the menu. A few of my favorites were the Smoked Salmon Toast, Buttermilk Biscuits with Peach Jam, Patatas Bravas, Shrimp and Grits, Chilaquiles, and Collard Greens. After stuffing ourselves on several plates from the kitchen, we saved room to try some tarts off a dessert table that was located next to the host stand. The small, delicious bites were all we could handle by that point, but they were still much appreciated. The brunch buffet at Local Three was really like no other in the way the food was acquired by the diners and in the gourmet quality of the menu items. I highly recommend this experience!"

Tiff H. "The Betty is the perfect dinner spot for a swanky dining experience in the heart of Buckhead. Parking is valet only but discounted if you dine in with the Betty. So it's always a plus to grab a bite to eat or a quick drink at the Betty before or after your visit to Willow Bar or St. Julep. Otherwise, I recommend street parking right across the street from the hotel for free and walking over to avoid worrying about that at all (I've made that mistake a few times now and never again). I made a reservation to celebrate my 30th birthday here and invited a few friends to join me. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and try. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. Loved the hamachi crudo and the pastas (cappelletti & spaghetti) were both tasty. The presentation on the sea scallops was gorgeous. The 32 oz prime ribeye was $169 - a bit pricy for what it was. It was super fatty (although I do enjoy my beef marbled) but since I ordered it medium rare, parts of the meat were borderline not rendered fully. But I loved the roasted garlic and madeira jus. My only other complaint were the sizes of the dishes overall were a little small for the price but otherwise a great meal. The meal isn't cheap but I definitely recommend experiencing it at least once on a special occasion."

Kee K. "Cute and cozy "Rooftop" on the 6th Floor of the AC Marriott hotel. We popped in on a Saturday night after dinner, and it was very busy. If you think you're coming for an unobstructed view of the city, LOL .Nope, think again. What you will find is a casually upscale chill and laid-back vibe with creatively crafted cocktails a little pricey, but that's to be expected. The guest DJ had a great selection of music spinning in the background. I will say the food smelled and looked tasty, but I can't speak on it, being that I just had dinner prior to coming here. I would definitely recommend this " rooftop" for the atmosphere alone. Great way to end your night on a "HIGH NOTE" No Pun intended...."

It's a upscale bowling alley with cocktails and food and other games.I came on a Thursday evening as part of a company team building event. We booked out a couple lanes and had a blast. The door is a bit hard to find, as the sign is a bit small. Look for a P&P sign around where the Google Maps location is.Most of their cocktails are very affordable and range from $10-$12. I tried a couple of their drinks, including the Pin's Cup, Bee's Knees, and a classic margarita, and everything was good. The Bee's Knees was probably my favorite. We also ordered a bunch of snacks to share, including tacos, hummus and pita, fries, chips and salsa, etc., and everything was pretty good.I'm not a huge bowler, so I appreciated that they have other games such as bocce ball, shuffleboard, skeetball, giant jenga, etc. After one round of bowling, I wandered around the rest of the space and enjoyed some of the other games."

I got the spicy dashi and off we go to fill our plates. They have so many varieties to choose from. We got plenty of greens: kale, spinach, mushrooms, dumplings, meatballs, fishballs, sweet potato, malanga, kimchi, etc. They also brought out large plates of meat and seafood for us to start. Everything was fresh and delicious. They do limit your time, but we sat there for a while and no one rushed us. We were only able to get 2 plates of meat/seafood before we were full. I would definitely come back just for the AYCE. It was more than enough food to fill me up. We weren't able to eat as much meat as we intended to. But good service and nice selection of food. Kee K. "My coworkers and I popped in to order something for lunch. The ambiance was relaxed. Customer Service was prompt, being that we were the only patrons in the restaurant around 12:30pm. We quickly looked over the menu to place to go orders. Chef Penny advised us that it would be a 20-minute wait on fried foods because the fryers were just being tuned on...Wait what?! I was confused, being that they open at 11a.m. ANYWHO!! Orders still placed. The wait was longer than expected, more like 45 minutes. I definitely wouldn't go again around lunchtime. The food just didn't seem fresh. The Mac n' cheese seemed like it was reheated and leftover from the day before . My colleague said their grilled fish didn't taste great and had an upset stomach afterward.Maybe I'll give them another try on a different occasion later in the day to see if my opinion of them changes or remains the same."

Meredith R. "No wonder Ellen and Jack chose Brookwood Grill for dinner. Once you're registered, the restaurant gives you a free bottle of wine or discounted entree on your anniversary. (They might do this for birthdays, too.) My friends didn't want to lose out. Can't blame 'em.My assessment of Brookwood Grill is the same as it was ten years ago. Good, but pricy with a typical American menu. The side salad with an accompanying honey-drizzled croissant is very good. Worth the extra $6. Dressings are homemade. T ordered ribs. I liked them cause they're lean, but really, nothing extraordinary. My trout was fine. Again, good but not knock-your-socks off. They offer a few choices in preparation. Our server, a knowledgeable fellow named Michael, suggested parmesan crusted. So that's what I went with.A number of options for dessert. I thought the peach cobbler was okay -- but to be fair, cobbler isn't necessarily my favorite dessert. I'd rather have ordered the warm brownie a la mode, which is what the anniversary couple got.I think there are wine deals almost every evening. Tuesdays it's half-priced glasses. I went with the low-end cab to which Michael -- he's really funny! -- said "it's like sludge! You can get much better for a little more." I took his advice and asked that he also bring a taste of the sludge so I could see for myself. And son-of-a-gun, he was right!Brookwood Grill is a Roswell staple. When we arrived at 5:30, plenty of seats were to be had. When we left a few hours later, the place was full. Reservations recommended."

You must try the white corn grit fritters as an appetizer. I didn't order this time because there's four to a serving and I was alone. Reservations for lunch and dinner are always available. Walk-ins are also welcomed, but there's always a crowd here. The staff are incredibly efficient and friendly. Always. I have never had a bad service experience or anything close to it. The ambiance is the only thing I don't love, but it's okay. Seed is intimate, but very loud. I took a picture of my latest lunch. I picked the daily special, which includes small portions of a sandwich (pulled pork pictured), salad (this one with bacon Parmesan) and soup (butternut squash with toasted pumpkin seeds). It changes daily as the name implies. Parking is tighter with the new Marshall's, but really never a problem."

I like the Poney Highland location, there is ample parking and on a Thursday night there was little to no wait. As we approached, we saw a party wrapping up on the patio and it was a lovely day outside. I mentioned to the host that we wanted to sit outside, he wasn't rude but did try to dissuade us from waiting. My party of 2 order the crispy tuna and one jinya bun and 2 bowls of ramen. The ramen came out before the small plates. I hate when that happens but such is life. The Black ramen hit the spot and the chicken wonton ramen with hot sauce literally warmed my soul. The jinya bun was a miss... idk if it was the large amount of mayo or I've had inauthentic buns but they were a hard no. Thick pork belly...really fluffy bao, and ransom mixed greens. The crispy rice and tuna was spot on. There is a limited drink menu like 4 cocktails, a decent assortment of sake, a few beers, wines, and non alcoholic beverages. All in all it's a good for a weeknight. Probably one of the best ramen at this price point in the city. Is it as good as ramen in Japan... nah but it scratches my western itch."

Kien H. "This is an AYCE type of Korean BBQ. So basically you get a grill at the center of the table and they keep bringing you meat to grill (yourself). The area is in a strip mall and it's free parking. There are a lot of walkable areas so parking and walking around after a dinner would be something that you could do. The vibe at the restaurant is super nice. They have an upstairs area so there is a lot of space inside the establishment. There is a lot of light so even though the decorations are dark wood, it's still bright. On the weekends it's the standard dinner pricing (the Donner and weekend price is $50 a person). Everybody needs to be able to eat the same, so just be aware that everybody at the table has to be on the same page. And also, there's no carry out for all you can. They bring the meat two at a time, and they bring a bunch of different accommodations in the forms of salad and kimchi and wraps and such. The appetizers are coming out hot so you have to think about ordering those. But it's pretty straightforward, order all to meat you want.I like the fact that The waitresses and waiters will want to grill for you between food and help you cook your food for you. I bet you may need it but it's nice that they actually try. That's a really good touch. For the appetizers I tried the Korean fried chicken, spicy, and I tried the chicken dumplings on my first go. The spicy chicken was fried chicken tossed in a spicy sauce and it was pretty tasty and savory with the proper spice. The dumplings didn't come with a sauce but I dipped mine in some yum yum sauce and that made it good. The egg souffle was also pretty good. Very light and airy. For my meat I tried to different cut steak and to be brisket to start off. I also tried the Hawaiian steak and the spicy beef bulgogi. I also dabbled in plenty of peppers /onions/ and mushrooms so they helped accommodate the meal. Aside from the Hawaiian (which may have had a little too much sweet for me), Everything was good. The bulgogi was kind of fatty but had plenty of favor. I ordered a few orders of brisket, they add sesame oil and a salt and pepper blend and it hits every time! This is a solid choice and has a lot of options (as long as you pay attention to the pay points regarding what days are a specific price)."

The chips were definitely fried in old grease. To play it safe, I ordered the cheese nachos with beef. Not too bad. Pretty solid actually. As such, let's talk about my recent visit. The location sits towards the rear of the high traffic area which is perfect for finding parking. Upon walking in there is an assortment of treats that capture your eye. The ambiance of the location is super chill and artsy. The paintings on the wall are not only amazing but they are for sale as well. Talk about a win win!Being this was my first time I wanted to go outside of my usual coffee order. I decided on the Coffee of the Day with a shot of Almond and Vanilla. The Murder Blend has a smooth Coffee taste. This is the perfect blend for someone (such as myself) who enjoys the authentic taste of coffee. As I love a good Dark Blend. This Medium/Dark Blend allows the roast flavor to be very evident. The flavor profile has a heavy body, and the flavor is prominent but isn't spicy and has the authentic bittersweet tang, subtle chocolate and caramel flavors, with hints of smokiness. Yeah! As you can see, this is a perfect coffee for any moment of the day... The flavor shots are strong which pair well with the heaviness of the Murder Blend. The young lady who helped me originally was nice, however, as she wasn't as much of a coffee drinker I was unable to get her take on any of the other blends. As such, I will be back again to be surprised by the daily blend. Overall, this location is great for a break from a busy day, a chance to meet with friends, or even a quick business conversation. Doug G. "The Corner Taqueria has been a staple in the Smyrna tacos and tequila scene since around 2012. They are located just inside Smyrna Market Village near the main entrance off Atlanta Road and are connected to Zucca Pizza. Corner Taqueria is a solid neighborhood spot that is more bar than restuarant, as the first thing you see when you walk in is the bar...where they have more tequila choices than food options. Additionally, they have several TV's lining the walls throughout the place, so it is definitely a place to catch the game! To be honest, if it wasn't for the Dos Equis "XX" on the wall, I would not know this place was a taqueria and focused on Mexican cuisine. This isn't a bad thing though, as I really enjoy the atmosphere, décor and layout! The menu is Mexican inspired and features the standards such as quesadillas, salads, queso, guacamole, nachos, rice, beans, burritos, tacos and a few house specialties. We did get chips and salsa shortly after being sat. They delivered crisp, well seasoned and tasty chips along with two salsas, one red and one green. When we ordered drinks, we tossed in an order of Queso Fundido, which was melted chihuahua cheese with peppers and chorizo served in a cast iron skillet alongside flour tortillas. While I am usually a fan of fundido and expect it to be thicker than your average queso, this version was tough to get through. It was the first queso I have ever had to cut to get onto my chip or tortilla. The cheese was melted, but I guess started to cool quickly, even with the cast iron, and it became a solid piece...not the best by far. For our dinners, we both got a couple of tacos. They have 10 varieties of tacos and between us we got (2) steak, (1) chicken and (1) fried mahi. The tacos were well dressed and filled nicely. The steak was good and well seasoned and the fish was thick, well breaded and the Sriracha tartar sauce was something I never knew I needed to experience! The chicken taco was good, a tad dry, but overall a tasty bite. While I just sipped on my water, my partner did get something from the bar, an Iceberg, which is a beer with a scoop of margarita in it. Never had it before and last night was not the last time I will have that simple yet fantastic combination! Service was solid. Our server was triple sat at the time we got there and while it was not the quickest service, she made sure to come by as often as possible to keep us updated and to apologize. She did an excellent job given the situation! Overall, Corner Taqueria is a great place in a fantastic location! We will definitely be back for lunch, dinner or game days!"

Rudy did a nice job redoing the interior of this place. It's spacious, well lit, not too loud, and is welcoming. Very nice patio out front with plenty of seating. Will be nice in the Spring especially. The menu is pretty much the same as it was at the Brookhaven Rightous. Tony, the head cook, really knows what he is doing. It's pretty much typical American Bar food, but far better than average. I have never been able to figure out exactly what he seasons the chicken quesadillas with, but I swear it might be crack! It is SO delicious. The 1/2 pound burger is juicy and cooked just right. There are several TVs. The interior is spacious while the setting is set to provide a more intimate sense of style with low lighting. Unfortunately, the music is blaring so conversation will be difficult to during a date. The service is great. My server was prompt and professional. Now for the food...A friend recommended I get the jollof rice. This is a tomato based dish that gives you your choice of protein of fish and beef or chicken and beef. There is a depth of flavor to this that I could not pinpoint. The rice itself had a rich smokey flavor that has a savory bite to it. Again, I can't pinpoint the spice they used but the dish itself is addictive to consume! The beef I will say had an odd texture to it. It was tough to chew but was also a bit fatty which was an off putting experience. The chicken was a bit more tender but was still giving an overcooked feel. Both the proteins were overcooked as there were tough portions to chew on. They were flavorful to be sure but for the most part, consuming the proteins was off so if they can improve the cooking method on the proteins, that would make for a better experience. The plantains included were tender and sweet which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also sampled the meat pie. This was a different to be sure. The minced meat is mixed in with some carrots and onions and the seasoning. It's almost like a hot pocket but the dough casing is thicker and doughy. It came hot and ready which was pleasant. All in all, again, I have no reference to understand what the flavors are but there is definitely a richness and a savory depth in the Jollof Rice. As this is also a tomato based dish, between the sweetness of the tomatoes and the sweetness of the onions off sets the savoriness and then there's a spicy bite to the whole dish between the rice and the gravy sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish despite having no context on what to know but for what it's worth, it's good home style cooking.Highly recommend this place for sure!"

I found it pretty. We didn't want to have food - we just got beverages and desserts. I got a Mexican hot chocolate and my friend got a Cappuccino. The Mexican hot chocolate was interesting with the cinnamon and chocolate flavors. You must appreciate both to appreciate this. Also, this is a dessert in itself so be mindful while ordering. For desserts, I had ordered a Mississippi Mud pie (I believe that's what it is called - it's essentially a dense and rich chocolate cake) and my friend got the Tiramisu. My dessert ended up getting packed as is because the hot chocolate was a lot. The next day, it tasted alright. Not as decadent as I imagined it to be. The tiramisu is a guaranteed hit. For a cafe, I expect the beverage options to be top-notch. It doesn't impress there."

Erin S. "Service was 5 stars. Food was more 3.5-4 stars. We had a party of 3 for brunch at 11:00 am on Saturday, 2/4/23. There was no wait for a table and it never really got that crowded. Jen was our waitress and she was great! The restaurant felt elevated and nice, but you can still go in really casual attire. Here's what we got:- Biscuit ($4): They accidentally sent out 2 biscuits, so we got to try both the buttermilk biscuit and the sweet potato biscuit. The buttermilk biscuit was a little hard. The sweet potato biscuit almost had the texture of bread pudding. It was kind of off-putting.- Multi-Grain French Toast ($12): This was good! Came with Brussel-Potato Hash. The banana on top of the french toast was delicious!- Chicken and Waffles ($15): The waffle was reallygood! The chicken was good too, but note that it was bone-in.- A La Carte - Biscuit, Egg, Bacon ($4 each): On the menu, you can get these a la carte for $4 each, which comes out to $12. Or you could get a dish with all of them, called the Low Country Breakfast Platter for $14. My friend got it a la carte for $2 cheaper! They should probably fix that. She said the bacon was really good!I'm glad to have tried it, but don't really feel the need to go back!"

Adina S. "This place is legit! I was killing some time downtown and stopped by The Vortex. The inside was dark and decorated with all sorts of crazy memorabilia. I actually decided to sit outside, so I could people watch. If you sit outside, just be warned that your service might be a bit slower. As for food, their menu looked inside. They had a ton of interesting burger options, but I went for the 50/50 Chili (half beef, half turkey). The chili had a nice flavor to it and it came with some kind of cornbread on the side. Solid spot!"

Tari O. "Enjoyed a dinner with colleagues at Zeke's. This Haitian restaurant is located in Smyrna and has great food. Service was also lovely. Thanks Kevin! And others checked in on us. The vibe is tropical, casual with low Caribbean music playing. Dining at the bar or at the tables. We saw families, groups, couples, and singles. The food was great! We enjoyed the nachos(tostones as nachos), the steak(chimichurri sauce was good), Djon Djon with salmon(crispy cooked perfectly), and the roasted chicken(ask for it cooked with extra butter). Ample parking out front. Seems very popular for takeout and delivery as well. They take reservations if needed. Would definitely return! Dishes were 15-30 and large portions!"

Amanda S. "A true hole in the wall with amazing Italian food!!! La Grotta is perfect for when you want to be fancy and get great comfort food. It's always pretty busy so flexibility with your reservation is key! We happened to luck into one a little earlier than I usually like to eat dinner, but it was super worth it. We shared the carpaccio as an app topped with truffle oil, arugula, and parm. The truffle oil worked so well with the meat and it was a great way to start off dinner. We then shared the sacchetti and the special scallops and risotto for dinner and both of them were amazing too. I liked the sacchetti a bit more as I'm not really the biggest fan of risotto, but I do love a lot of cheese! We ended the night with the tiramisu which was pretty good.Overall la Grotta is such a fun cute place for Italian food, and I'd love to come back!"

Marietta Burger Bar

Marietta Burger Bar

Manish C. "If you're in the hankering for a decent burger in Marietta, look no further than the Marietta Burger Bar. Its decent online ratings are warranted, as they use quality ingredients in their burgers. We started off with an order of the mozzarella sticks (3/5) which were a solid and decent recipe, but otherwise average with regards to breading in the mozzarella sticks and the marinara sauce served with it. The burgers (4/5) we ordered were each distinct with regards to the variety of toppings, but we all agreed the bun and quality of ingredients were well above average, and left us all satisfied. I wasn't too big of the fan of the fries (2.5/5) as I the few I tried weren't overly flavorful or seasoned. The onion rings were a bit better as they were crunchy, but came out a bit too saturated with oil, leaving some small pools of oil in the basket. Prices were reasonable and the service was quick and friendly. I'd rate the Marietta Burger Bar experience as a 3.5, but since their burgers were all decently liked by us, happy to round up the overall rating and would recommend it to others when looking for a decent burger."

Vanessa L. "Delicious. We originally planned to dine in but ended up ordering for take out and it was still good. We ordered the grilled octopus with mash as an appetizer to share and I ordered the crazy lasagna which came with braised beef short rib. Both were delicious and I did not expect to like the octopus so much but it was really good. It was soft and not rubbery. I would love to dine in next time."
