Aga's restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone who appreciates authentic, mouth-watering Indian-Pakistani cuisine. I had the pleasure of dining there again recently and was blown away by the flavors and quality of their dishes.First up, the goat biryani is a revelation. The rice is perfectly cooked, each grain separate and infused with a complex blend of spices that create a symphony of flavors. The goat meat is tender and succulent, practically melting in your mouth. Every bite is a delightful journey, with just the right amount of heat and a depth of taste that lingers long after you've finished. The goat chops are another highlight. They are grilled to perfection, with a beautifully charred exterior that gives way to juicy, flavorful meat inside. The seasoning is spot-on, enhancing the natural richness of the goat without overpowering it. These chops are an absolute must-try for meat lovers. The veggie samosas are a perfect appetizer to start your meal. The pastry is wonderfully crisp, and the filling is a harmonious blend of vegetables and spices. Each bite delivers a satisfying crunch followed by a burst of savory goodness. They are light, yet filling, and perfectly seasoned to tease your taste buds.To end the meal on a sweet note, the gulab jamun is simply divine. These little dough balls soaked in sugary syrup are soft and fragrant, with a hint of cardamom that elevates them to another level. They are sweet but not cloying, making for a perfect dessert to round off the meal.Aga's restaurant has truly mastered the art of Indian-Pakistani cuisine. Each dish is crafted with care and expertise, offering an authentic taste experience that is hard to match. If you're looking for a place that serves up unforgettable flavors and impeccable quality, Aga's is the place to go.

Great restaurant, fantastic reputation, phenomenal service, and well-priced.- If you like spicy: The Tikka Masala. Love this.- I also like the Samosa Chaat and Garlic Naan.- Everybody says the Goat Chops are but I thought they were only aight. Good if you like a lot of smoky flavors. - Biryani was my Mom's favorite; it's a milder spice. I thought she'd like the Butter Chicken (Chicken Makhani) but no5 stars because the only thing I want is more spice, which would probably not be good for most people and this place deserves it. It's a legend in the Sugar Land area

My heart and my tummy...filled with so much love.So lucky to be able to start Father's Day weekend with the one of the favorite fathers in my family. Love spending time with extended family. Aga's is such a great choice for a family dinner on a busy Friday night. So many choices from curries to biryanis, goat chops to lassis... and naan galore. Start with a vegetable samosa or a vegetable samosa chaat. The deep-fried, flaky samosa pastry filled with potatoes, onions and Indian spices is so good. Or kick it up a notch with the samosa chaat. The combination of smashed vegetable samosas, yogurt, onions, and cilantro served with a sweet tamarind chutney is addictively delicious. Aga's is the GOAT of Goat Chops. Grilled goat chops. So tender and delicious. Get this one. So popular for a reason!! So many types of biryani. Chicken. Fish. Goat. Even shrimp. My FIL's favorite is the goat biryani. This traditional Pakistani dish made with seasoned long-grained rice layered with tender goat cooked in a thick gravy is soooo good. Order it regular or spicy.Add a curry or two. The chicken Shinwari karahi is made with fresh ginger and tomatoes, serrano peppers, and other traditional herbs and spices. It has a bit of a kick. The chicken masala is delicious as well. For my girls, it is always the Palak Paneer. Homemade paneer cooked in a creamy sauce of spinach and spices. The aloo choley masala with potatoes and chickpeas is also a family favorite. Add an order of naan or two to soak up the delicious goodness. We like the sesame and the garlic.Complete your meal with a dudh patti chai. Milk and chai boiled to perfection. Thanks as always to the amazing staff at Aga's. Such great service and a special thanks to Khatija for starting off this year's Father's Day weekend on such a special note.

Visiting this place is no less than visiting to a paradise for me. Food - with a plethora of dishes in both veg and non veg, Agas has something for everyone. Each and every dish is always well cooked and tastes so distinct and unique. The MVDs (Most Valuable Dish) goat chops, peshawari kadhai, paneer makhni, gajar halwa, bullet naan and mango lassi Service - Agas is one of the budgets restaurants I have been to buy with extremely fast service. The servers and wait staffs all have a smile on their face and they are always going the extra mile to make you feel comfortable.Ambiance - people come to Agas to enjoy food with their families which makes it's a high energy ambiance.

If you ever visit Houston, or even if you're just passing through, you must stop at Aga's Restaurant for a meal--period. This place is huge and always bustling with people. Fortunately, as a solo diner, I managed to get seated pretty quickly. After being seated, the waiter came to take my order. Feeling a bit unsure about what to choose, I asked for recommendations and he suggested the restaurant's top picks. I decided on the beef behari kabab and grilled lamb chops, along with a mango lassi. The food arrived with a complimentary salad. The kebab was out of this world--tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. I couldn't stop eating it. The grilled lamb chops were equally outstanding, packed with flavors and accompanied by mint chutney that left a lasting impression. The mango lassi was fresh and delicious. The service was fast and smooth. As I was about to leave, the owner stopped by to ask for feedback. We had a pleasant 15-minute chat about where I'm from and my dining experience. This place was recommended by a friend, and now I recommend it to anyone passing by or visiting Houston.

Another great meal at Aga's. My party of 4 came for lunch and was seated right away! We ordered an assortment of items 2 garlic nan, butter chicken, chicken biriani, and chicken lollipop. Everything was delicious and everyone was raving about how good the food was. Although the restaurant was busy there were plenty of waiters walking around ensuring that we had everything we need. There is a parking lot available but it gets pretty full but not impossible to find a spot. Just have to walk a little to the restaurant. Overall a great food!

The dining room is very large, unlike anything I've seen before in the US. However, despite the many customers, the service remains efficient. The food, simply put, was delicious. Everything was well--seasoned and incredibly flavorful. This stop added an extra 30 minutes to our road trip, but each bite made those extra minutes worth it.

Aga's is truly Texas-sized. The Gobi Manchurian and Paneer Tandoori Masala were delicious, and I loved the sesame naan. They have a very efficient system, but expect a wait if you don't get there early on the weekend. Great spot for big groups.

We heard about Ava's from our friend before and took us a while to try it. We were in the area running an errand and thought we should check it out. We arrive around 11:45 on a Friday and was seated right away. The place is very clean and the staff were dressed in uniform. There were a lot of staff going around getting ready for the lunch rush. I ordered the mango lassi. My go to drink in Indian restaurants. It was very good... for better or worse, it does fill you up though (friendly warning). We order two entrees... butter chicken and tandoori chicken masala with garlic naan. The butter chicken was good... very creamy and you can definitely tamato. The next dish (Tandoori Masala) was amazing... didn't know there was such a dish... it has peppers and onions. Super tasty... and comes with bone-in chicken which is even better. After tasting the masala, the chicken butter pale in comparison. Paired with garlic naan... wow! Couldn't get enough of the sauce.Staff was attentive and dropping by to see how we are doing or need anything. By the time we left, there was a line outside... guess we got lucky and just missed it.We will definitely be back to try the other dishes... Vindaloo, etc. Excluding the high end and fancy Indian restaurants, this is probably our best Indian meal yet in Houston.
