I'm so busy nowadays, I never have time to write reviews like I once used to ...But for this place, I will take the time.First and foremost, thank you for such delicious food. This pregnant mama had been craving for roast pork, honey pork bbq, and crispy fried noodles for the past 7 months - and y'all delivered! Fresh, flavorful, and authentic.I didn't mind spending over $100 in one sitting haha.We also had the fried tofu (disclaimer: the menu says it's "spicy" - ours was not at all, but still super yummy.). Fried chicken popcorn, and their mango lychee tea. When I tell you I danced the whole time I ate, the good Lordt knew I was as happy as a frog in a log lolololol.Crispy beef noodles - highly recommend. Noodles were perfectly crispy with a nice chew once that brown sauce hits it. Good quality on the think my sliced beef - cooked well and soft. I love how much baby bokchoy they added. The bokchoy was also cooked to perfection - still had a hefty crunch and bounce to it.Roast pork - I like to dip it in soy sauce and vinegar. We bought ours by the pound so it didn't come with rice or anything else.Honey pork was tender and perfectly seasoned - sometimes, the seasoning and honey can be overwhelming in other places, but not here. They did this well.Crunchy Fried tofu - I've had so much fried tofu in my life as tofu is legit one of my fave food in the world, but I have never had it like here were the outside is ultra crunchy but the inside is nice and soft and pillowy. It was pure sorcery and I'm all here for it! Popcorn chicken - reminds me of Taiwanese style popcorn chicken with the technique and flavor profile - and it's exactly what me and my picky 4 year old were craving for! Fresh and flavorful.Their tea, I found, was in the sweeter side. We ordered it at 30% sweetness with lychee jelly and it was still to sweet for my palette. My husband loved it though. I'm just not really a big sweets person.All in all, I'm obsessed with this place. Parking in the entire plaza can be such a pain, so if you can't find one right away, just remember there's an over flow lot on the other side (it's like a dirt road). But it's right next to Hmart, and Paris Baguette, a hundred other restaurants and businesses - you can really just eat your way through this entire plaza. My next thing to try from here will be their congee, crispy intestine, roast pork belly, and maybe a couple other dishes ... omg I'm getting hungry just thinking of what I'll eat here next!! Go check them out.

Disappointed with my visit this evening - Bones, Bones, Bones! I ordered two servings of duck with roast pork rice and one serving of soy chicken rice. The duck portions were a letdown - 5-6 pieces per order, but all I got were duck backs with no meat, just bones and skin! The soy chicken order wasn't any better, with only 7 tiny pieces (should've been at least 9), 1 was a piece of skin and fat and the other was a wing tip. As a Cantonese Asian who regularly enjoys Chinese BBQ from various places, this experience was far from what I anticipated.At $14 each, I essentially paid for scraps, I feel shortchange and believe they owe me 2 duck breasts and at least 4 meaty chicken pieces! This was their second chance, but I won't be returning. Sadly, it's a common trend - suburban restaurants start strong, then quality declines, portions shrink, but prices rise.To the business owners, do better! We're not fools - don't take advantage of customers with subpar servings. High rent shouldn't excuse poorly served food. Improve or lose loyal patrons like me.

This place is my go to spot for lunch when I am in the Katy area. It is my absolute favorite cafe in the area. Great tea, great boba, great drink options. If you want more than a snack with your boba they have great meal options. I love that they offer BBQ here. They have a ginger sauce they serve it's the soy sauce chicken that is an absolute delight. Service is always great every time I come and staff is friendly. Great ambience for getting work done and they have free WiFi.

We came here on a saturday and ordered 1lb honey bbq pork and spicy popcorn chicken! the popcorn chicken tasted good and was served fresh - if they were trying to imitate taiwanese popcorn chicken, they came close. definitely needs more basil and 5 spice seasoning but it was still pretty good! the honey bbq pork was orders by the pound. The flavor was there but it was served cold... not warm or hot.the service was 5 stars because the owner or worker came to our table multiple times to ask if we needed anything and served us food. giving this place 3 stars more because of the cold honey bbq and the flavor.

Ordered 3 bbq meat combo: crispy pork belly, bbq pork, and soy sauce chicken. Also added a side of chinese broccoli.Crispy pork belly skin was extra crunchy and crispy skin. The meat was tender with a hint of sweetness at the bottom of the slice.Bbq pork was not too sweet and was just right for my liking Soy sauce was nothing special but I would still order it to have a variety The broccoli was sliced perfectly to bite side thus allowing you have it simultaneously with any of the 3 meats We will definitely return if we're in Katy

I finally stopped by this place again after they renovated. They're serving crispy pork belly, BBQ pork, etc. I ordered Xiao long bao, takoyaki and crispy pork belly. Xiao long bao: it's good when it's still hot, the skin's getting hard after cool down. Takoyaki: it was good, like other places that I had Crispy pork belly: it's super dry and hard, the meat wasn't fresh at all, skins are still crispy though.

I was craving tea and hungry so I stop by to try this place. The food was good and came out quick except for the dim sum. It took some time to be done. Normally there would be soup in them but most of mines didn't have any. I got the 3 meat plate. I got the roasted duck, roasted pig, and ribs. The ribs were just bone with barely any meat. Service was good and attentive.

Busy snack shop in the Katy chinatown plaza. I felt like everything was slightly overpriced - the boba and popcorn chicken. Worth it if you're looking for a place to hang out for grab a bite before hitting the road.

Finally!! Another Chinese bbq place in Katy! Walking in, the order counter is immediately on the left with 3 huge TV displays as the menu overhead. There is tea boba on the first tv, and the other two have the food.I've got the 3 meat bbq over rice combo of char siu, roasted pork belly, and roasted duck. The portions are good! Especially compared to their neighbor who have been getting away with skimping on the meats since they're the only option available, but not anymore!! The char siu is what you'll expect, you can't go wrong with it. The roasted pork belly was crispy, have a good meat to fat ratio and well salted. The roasted duck had a nice skin, not too fatty and good flavor. The sauces were on point! 3 meats with cabbage for $13 plus tax. The best value in the area!

We had an impromptu road trip to Houston earlier this week and on our way, we stopped at Katy for dinner. Originally, we were going to check out Phat Eatery but they happen to be closed that night. We looked a couple doors down was @yantea.katy and we took the chance. It turned out to be a great choice after all.I got Dad a Mango Yogurt, Hubby had a Jasmine Green Tea, and I had a Strawberry Green Tea. I got Dad a Fish Filet Congee. We had ordered the sampler portion of the Scallion Chicken, half Peking Duck, and Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). Such a delectable treat to have all these mouth-watering foods! I bought the Mango Mille Crepe to go.
