Wing King Express

Definitely not the wing king. I have witnessed this establishment have the strainer for the wings full of already cooked wings they just deep fry again so you think it's fresh. Your wings will be hard and crunchy. (Look at all the other reviews)I don't expect fresh wings every time but some of them were so hard it wasn't even good. The fried rice was horrible. There was no flavor at all. It was basically white rice with some veggies thrown in.The Philly cheese steak was good but everything else was so mid. Don't waste your money here, go to Sumo wings and hibachi down the street for fresher and more flavorful food! The cashier was very nice but the food was trash. Don't do it :( :( :(

Yesterday, after shopping at Buford Highway Farmer's Market, I was driving through the parking lot away from that store and, for the very first time, noticed a store sign for Wing King Express. It was lunch time, and I wasn't in a hurry to get home but I was hungry. I decided without even looking at the Yelp reviews to get some wings at Wing King Express.Parking looks like it's always available, since there is a small parking lot shared with only a couple of other close neighboring businesses. I walked in, and a woman behind the cash register quickly greeted me. I'm glad she said something, because I probably would've missed seeing her if she hadn't said anything or if she decided to stand still and not move. It took me a few minutes to look over all of the menu items, and I think the woman just silently looked at me while she waited for me to order. No other customers were in the store at the time, and I could hear someone moving around and making noises in the kitchen area.I finally ordered 10 wings with the dry lemon pepper rub, and fries. While I waited about 15 minutes, other customers came in and picked up their orders that they had previously called in. The woman at the front counter consistently got each order from the cook, then opened up the container so that the customer could visually confirm that was the order and that everything was ok. Very good process to follow!My order was up, so the woman at the counter looked at me, smiled and nodded. I walked up to her, and she showed me the food in the container. Looked and smelled good. The employee asked if I wanted to put seasoning salt on my fries, and she pointed to a shaker on the counter. I decided to season my fries there, but didn't put very much on my fries. The employee then asked if I wanted a drink. I didn't realize that the drink came with my meal, and, after I said, "No," she told me that the drink was included. What I really wanted was an iced tea, but that wasn't an option out of all the carbonated canned drinks and the bottled water. I decided to get a can of soda that I will eventually drink, and left so that I could eat at home.It only took about 5 minutes for me to drive home. The wings were still hot, but were inconsistently covered by dry lemon pepper rub. Because of this, the flavor on the wings ranged from very good to barely flavored. I'm not sure if it's because of the delay in eating the wings or not, but the wings were consistently on the chewy side, instead of crispy. The wings were decently sized - bigger than pigeon sized wings and smaller than wings from steroid-fed chickens. I didn't like the flavor of the fries at all. No amount of seasoning could help positively flavor these fries. I suggest skipping the fries and ordering the fried rice. The fries were the frozen crinkled fries, but they tasted like they weren't cooked long enough.The prices are good, and there are other items on the menu, and if I decide to come back I would definitely not order the fries again.

Went here over the weekend to pick up food that we called in. When we got there to pick it up we had to wait because they did not have our order correct at all. At first the guy was saying its already done as if we had to take a order we did not ask for. Then they were all speaking in Spanish until they realized my husband could totally understand everything they were saying. He began to speak to them in their language. The lady there had been trying to tell the gentleman that my husband placed the order she wrote down when he called. Which was incorrect. I was right there so I heard himAfter this they decided that they were going to redo our order and we had to wait. Other than that the food was decent. My cheesesteak was good once the finally fixed it

I wasn't too impressed with the place. I ordered 10 medium wings and the fried rice combo, which was a great value. Overall, the food was average. I was not impressed with the service. When I called in at 8pm, they told me if couldn't get there by 8:45, they would take my order. The place closes at 9.

I think this place is honestly one of my favorite wing place. The staffs are all very friendly.. The flavor and everything is really good as well.They also have a choice of either fried rice or lo mein but they both really good so I just rotate from the two.I always get either shrimp fried rice with hot wings or beef lo mein with hot wings. The combo usually comes with a side of drink and either ranch or blue cheese! They also have other items as well other than wings and I'm sure everything is good

This is the highest rated wings venue in the area and for good reason. I ordered the chicken philly, shrimp fried rice, 5 hot wings, and 5 honey mustard wings. I know that is a lot of food but it was all great.The chicken philly cost $6 and the shrimp fried rice was an extra $3. The fried rice is great and worth every penny. I wish the fried rice had more shrimp but I can't complain for $3. The chicken philly is pretty big but I wish there was more in the sandwich. The wings could be better but they are a good price. Got 10 wings for about $7. The wings are fried hard and crispy. They use plenty of sauce for the wings. good amount of meat on the wings.

NO ONE WAS WEARING MASK !!! Are your serious?!? We are still in pandemic! I don't know if owner see these reviews but PPE is must have these days. Wake up ! Never going back!

food was under prepared and closed a whole 30 mins early and did not remake my food ,they didn't even come to the door but to tell me they are closed

This place is THE wing spot! Wings are perfectly fried, and not those tiny ones either. sauces are great, and reasonably priced, which makes it even better!

Wings are amazing and the staff are pretty nice. Always go here for lunch. Place is pretty clean and is always a nice place to cool off as well
