We came on a Weekend morning but arrived early. Good thing! By the time we left it was quite busy. Such a great spot. Staff was friendly and professional. They were able to accommodate our fairly large group with no problems.I chose the Shrimp & Grits, as noted on the sign at entry, Georgia's best in 2016! Very good and unusual with the addition of sausages. Great variety so there was something for everyone!

Went for a business lunch with 2 coworkers. The outside space was nice. At first, the heaters were on given the morning started off chilly, but by the time we arrived, it was beginning to heat up. Thankfully they turned off the heaters fairly soon after sitting down. I ordered French toast. The actual batter/toast wasn't very flavorful but syrup and fruit were good. Portions were good, too, but wish it came with at least 2 strips of bacon or sausage OR eggs to account for the flavors and presentation not being much to remember. My coworkers' portions were pretty big, and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Service was good. We didn't need much so didn't need to check in with him often. Compared to other breakfast/brunch spots nearby, it wouldn't be my first choice but overall not bad. Average.

phenomenal experience here at West Egg Cafe!! I heard a while back from a cook that West Egg had some of the best coffee on this side of town and i'm so happy that i finally gave it a try. service was outstanding! smiles all around, team members holding doors for guests and offering engaged and personable commentary. my host introduced my server by name and let me know that a Mr. Leo would be with me shortly, service was prompt, attentive, and personable. i'm not usually indecisive with a breakfast menu but my server Leo was patient nonetheless, offering me some insight on menu favorites. at some point i ask if he could place my phone on a charger somewhere (as i was seated on their bustling outdoor patio) he instead insisted on bringing me his personal portable charger. service totally above and beyond! this is the type of person and hospitality you should be EAGER to have on your dining team, i sure hope the rest of his team recognizes that. all the employees here are kind, work together seamlessly as a team, and promote the type of atmosphere you are excited and grateful to start your day off witnessing. Faith and Jas were working today as well -- you can hear them all saying please and thank you for small favors for each other and every single employee had a warm genuine smile on their face. a mother had a crying baby and one server (not her table) kept kindly coming by to check that the guests were doing alright, another server was very gently explaining the substitution of sides to a new guest.. this is a brilliant and certainly hospitality driven restaurant and based on this first experience i am excited to keep coming back. this was all before the food arrived! food arrived promptly (and after my phone had to be restarted, hence the half eaten photo) the biscuits on the Georgia Benedict were soft, fluffy, and delectable! the egg was a perfect medium and each bite was full of flavor. the milky way latte was a hit as well! i live in the neighborhood and am happy to be a new fan and patron of this restaurant. great team! this restaurant is doing an AMAZING job! this is what hospitality is all about! Kudos to Leo! thanks you so much for a great, hospitable start of the day, your diligence and care is certainly noted and appreciated!

I have dined here multiple times and had a great experience consistently. If you're coming for brunch on Sunday just know they don't serve alcohol until noon per state law! I've tried their challah french toast with berries, caramelized banana bread french toast, fried green tomatoes, and short rib hash. Every time I eat here the food has been delicious and they give generous portions. Things do get a little hectic there since it's a popular cafe so I recommend going early or after the brunch rush. This will definitely be a go-to breakfast spot for me!

Trust me, you'll want to go here in the weekend. They have this brown sugar candied bacon that is so delicious! The west side pile up is usually my go to with a side of the bacon. It's a very casual spot, sometimes with long waits but well worth it. And now that there's so much more in the area it's cool to walk around with a coffee beverage from the coffee bar until your table is ready.

The West Egg Cafe is such a cute little breakfast spot. No matter of you're looking for a quick bite or to sit down they have so many great options. I for the fried egg sandwich and it was SO GOOD. It honestly deserved the close up on its own haha. My friend got the fried chicken hash and that also looked insane. We obviously had to split some pancakes haha. We were there during a "morning rush" on a Wednesday (hahaha!) and they were still fast.

My favorite go to Breakfast spot!! It gets the job done with great tasty food and the service is awesome. I never wait more than 15 - 20 minutes even on a Sunday Morning when it's packed. Parking is validated at the hostess desk. Patio or indoor dining is available. I have tried almost everything and never had a complaint. I always seem to have leftovers as well.

My friend and I both went on a busy Saturday, June 15th for brunch between 11am-1pm. We ordered and shared the meal, and we both got FOOD POISONING!ATE: challah french toast, crispy brussel sprouts, chicken chilaquilesDRANK: cold brew iced coffee, orange juiceLet's start with how things tasted, everything tasted fine, but the brussel sprouts were indeed crispy and seasoned well. My friend drank her cold brew, and had a pretty quick reaction of diarrhea as I do remember her going off to the restroom during our meal. It was a few hours later that evening I started to feel tired, achy, muscles/body hurt, worst migraine I've had in years so I took a nap, some Advil and Goody powder, and drink alot of water.Later, I had a lot of diarrhea, several trips to the bathroom, feeling like death...I did not eat anything else that day. By 10pm, I vomited violently 5x orange (chicken chilaquiles and whatever else) lumpy goop all over my sink. Finally, my body did feel better afterwards. It's taken over 4+ days to fully recover. At that time, West Egg had a 89 grade Health Score - violations for:"Standard not met: Proper cold holding temperaturesStandard not met: Nonfood-contact surfaces clean."USER BEWARE. It was over 95+ degrees F outside, and also hot inside with the cafe jam-packed with people. Service was good and pretty quick. Not sure about cleanliness overall, restroom was pretty clean. Water came with no ice and in a carafe, probably tap water. Go at your own risk.

I personally didn't love the food, but the customer service was great and the restaurant itself is very welcoming! There's indoor and outdoor seating which is nice, but it is very loud on a regular busy day. The churro waffle was the best part aside from the biscuit, and the portions of food are more than enough.
