The place is very nice, love the decoration and the staff is very attentive. The Surf and Turf Roll is the new roll. Absolutely amazing. I don't care how good the food is poor service is the death of restaurants No wasabi, ginger and or soy was offered?By the way bartender sorry my service wasn't important enough to distract you from watching the Phillies/Mets game!Lastly greet your customers like they belong and not as if we are an inconvenience to you!

I've been to Varsol multiple times, mainly for their crispy rice (Tara's Tuna). It's amazing, one of the best in Miami. The servers are always friendly and the ambiance is relaxed, yet classy. I am always greeted by the server within a couple minutes of sitting down. I usually start with the Tara's Tuna and then try a new roll for my entree. Last time I tried the Brie Roll which was essentially a salmon avocado roll topped with smoked brie. Not sure I would order it again, but it wasn't terrible.Varsol also offers no hard liquor. All of the "cocktails" are made with their house sake blend. I wish they had a slightly better alcohol list for the elevated level of dining they offer.Overall, if you're going to visit Varsol for one thing, go for the crispy rice. It's no joke.

This spot looks tinier than it looks, but it goes very deep. The quality of sushi exceeded my expectations. I wanted to try something new instead of tuna and got the salmon carpaccio. The ponzu and zest completed the dish beautifully. Deciding what roll I wanted was very difficult because there are so many great options. In the end, I ordered the sushi pop. I was very impressed with my visit and I'll definitely be returning.

I am giving this place two stars, because the ambience is good and service is great. However it was the worst sushi I have had in Miami. Everything came out in 2 seconds and tasted old and not freshly prepared. I eat a lot of sushi and I could tell this wasn't prepared the same day. I do not recommend

Super cute sushi place located in a great area to walk around in Miami. The sushi was delicious and there are some interesting rolls to choose from. The truffle roll was probably one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. I did not love the Brie roll but if you like cheese on your sushi it may the roll for you. The drinks were great - the Moscow Mule I had tasted really fresh and was super tasty. The service was friendly and very efficient as well. Quiet and cute vibes during dinner time. Prices are not cheap but not super crazy especially for Miami.

Tiny but mighty! This local spot in Coconut Grove looks small from the outside, but offers incredible sushi and A+ service. I sat outside at a table with a few others (some locals), and we were quickly greeted by our server who brought us fresh water, as well. One of the people in my party had been there before and had great recommendations, and the restaurant was kind enough to bring us out some appetizers on the house and they were INCREDIBLE. The plating/presentation alone was gorgeous, but the ingredients were so fresh in the tuna tartare and the Alex #2 was my favorite roll. The fried rice was also delicious and the perfect portion to share and pass around. Our minds may have been bigger than our stomachs because of how good the apps were, but we couldn't bear the chance of not ordering enough for the table.

Stop what you're doing right now. Literally put down everything that is not your phone and go get sushi from Varsol. I'm not a big fan of sushi because I struggle with the raw aspect sometimes, but because of the beautiful plating and vast menu, I was willing to jump out of my comfort zone. I'm happy I did. I definitely recommend the Hamachi tiradito! The flavors blend together, so well, which I was a bit skeptical of at first, due to the citrus and truffle blend. So so so delicious!Our server was so friendly and accommodating. I am especially thankful that he brought out stand for my purse to give my shoulder a break. We sat outside, so we were able to see the buzzing Coconut Grove community. Varsol a good job of expanding the limited sidewalk space they have to give you an immersive food experience. Definitely recommend when you're in Coconut Grove!

I had heard mixed reviews about VARSOL and last night I decided to order takeout to satisfy my sushi craving. I'm so happy I did because it was some of the most delicious takeout sushi I've had in a while!I opted for the Salmon dream salad which is served over Wakame and avocado as well as a yellowtail hand roll. The fish was super fresh and both were fabulous. I was full from the order because the salad had so much salmon. I will definitely order again and hope to stop by in person soon!
