I'm not certain when they switched over to prepackaged salads & sandwiches/wraps, but I don't think they have menu items in the way they did in the past. I recall seeing folks with plated foods when I've passed by before. Maybe the food varies depending on the event and/or day of the week, since I came on a Thursday evening.I stopped in before a play at the Alliance and there were very few of the prepackaged items even available. Despite them having just opened & there were only 2 other patrons in the restaurant. Maybe they ran out of most things because it was a busy day at the High? This would actually be fine, but they should make it clear on the website or something so folks aren't expecting freshly prepared food.

I think that Twelve Eighty is definitely a place to go only if you want to eat or drink right before or after spending time at the High Museum. I wouldn't say that it's your traditional sit-in restaurant; we ordered at the counter and had to ask separately for water upon realizing that they didn't come with the food. My friend and I ordered a broccoli cheddar soup and a flatbread. The broccoli cheddar soup had a single broccoli in it, which made it almost laughable, and was a bit too cheesy and heavy; I think I honestly prefer Panera's broccoli cheddar soup over the soup I had here. The chicken flatbread was good enough to fill up my stomach after spending some time walking around the museum, but not something I would have again.

A quick bite before exploring the museum. The food was not bad at all, the salad is standard and nothing too outstanding, extra dressing does make it a bit tasty though. The chick bowl and Korean beef bowl are pretty good. Meat is mixed well with quinoa. The staff here is very nice.

Twelve Eighty recently changed their entire menu a couple of months ago.Lunch: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/twelve-eighty-atlanta-2?reviewid=ugLlG3lFunZEcHP7fw8tIg&select=hIKEc73r5rolQLHyAjXIoA&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)Dinner: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/twelve-eighty-atlanta-2?reviewid=ugLlG3lFunZEcHP7fw8tIg&select=-hI8QJLKDXs6oolCfBf4gA&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)The 5-star review is based solely on the food since I ordered to-go.* Maine Lobster Roll ($18): Y U M M Y. This comes with pickled celery, chives and toasted challah... and a side of chips. The roll was massive and very tasty. Some places have alot of extra stuff filling the bun, but the lobster roll here is ALL lobster. Originally, I was reluctant when I was told the pickled celery can't be separated from the roll, but it actually complimented the roll pretty well. Not sour at all like I would think. Please note if you don't like pickles, they do add pickles on the side/under the roll. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=cX4jMqhLRkq5O2O1gAxWow&userid=DXdO88SrAIqXhq0zUAkHOw&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)* Linguini and Clams ($18): OK. This dish is pancetta, butter, white wine, shallots, and bottarga. I found this dish too salty and typically prefer a creamier noodle dish. The clam to noodle ratio is good though. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=9ewS_60Y86yShZHCFAPpSw&userid=DXdO88SrAIqXhq0zUAkHOw&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)Overall, I would definitely come back for their lobster rollssssss. It's hard to find decently priced AND delicious lobster rolls around here. Twelve Eighty will be the spot to satisfy my lobster roll cravings.

I love museum restaurants! And have eaten in many! (Fave is the food court at the East Wing in DC).Service was ok, food was forgettable. I ordered a bowl that had chicken, quinoa and some other veggies. I found a hair in my lunch and had to send it back. The replacement was very sloppy looking.I was surprised that they didn't comp the entree. Over all the food and the ambiance have slipped badly since the pandemic.I love the site and the out door seating, but this place needs a shape-up.

Dined here last month (May 2022). It's really more like a 3 1/2, but the people are so nice and they clearly were trying hard. Unfortunately, the skill level of the service and the food quality just isn't there. It's a nice place to have lunch, if you were spending the day around the museum. But for pre-theater or pre Symphony dinner, don't expect fine dining. I had the club sandwich, which would have been okay for a lunch. It was heavily oiled, and stayed with me during the performance. Salad was okay. I would dine there again, but for lunch.

Honestly, I feel like I'll only go back for the atmosphere or if I'm starving while visiting he museum. The interior is very nice. It looks very modern and I like the large open window concept, very artsy LOL. The waitress that was with us was amazing. She was so nice and gave great recommendations. We ordered our food and were all VERY underwhelmed. Everything. Looked and smelled so good! The presentation was spot on, however, everything tasted like it was trying its very best but just couldn't get there.I ordered the salmon, my friend ordered the steak salad, and my boyfriend ordered the eggplant/ chicken parm. We all shared the fried calamari ( which tasted more like batter than calamari, so sad!)The prices ranged from about 12-15, which upset me because of the lack of taste but what can ya do!?At most, I would probably go back for drinks but not to eat.

Horrible!! We arrived at 6:30 based on our reservation. After sitting for an hour the hostess came with a bill, and we promptly asked, what are we paying for, we haven't received any food?? She went back and in 14 minutes a waitress came and placed Bibb Lettuce in front of me!!! We were very confused and finally realized no one had put our food order in. We offered to pay for the hot and cold tea as we were leaving. The waitress apologized and said no charge! There shouldn't have been a charge! Based on the poor service.... not even one star is warranted!!!!!
