The Crawfish Pot & Oyster Bar

First time I came here was before I had to go to the airport. I didn't expect much since I wanted some decent seafood. They are a good size restaurant with plenty of places to sit and eat. I decided to go with the trio platter and selected fried oysters, fried shrimp, and fried catfish. It came with onion strings and Cajun fries. I also tried crawfish from my family's plates. I don't usually eat a lot of fried seafood but these came out really well. I loved how the moisture was trapped inside of all 3. The batter was crispy and flavorsome. Those Cajun fries reminded me of Popeyes but freshly made. Onion strings were delicious. Service was okay. Prices were very reasonable for the generous portions.

I've heard from friends and locals about the amazing crawfish at this spot, so naturally, curiosity got the best of me, and I had to check it out. Believe me when I say, it's as good as the hype. It's no wonder there's always a wait and crowds/groups of people waiting out the door. Now, I'm no professional food critic, but I know what tastes good, and this crawfish? It's like a flavor explosion. The seasoning is something special, kind of bold but not too overpowering. It's a taste I've never quite experienced before. I mean, I tried to dissect the blend in my mind, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying it. It's got that home-cooked feel but with a gourmet touch.The crawfish itself was cooked to perfection. Sometimes you can get it too mushy or too hard, but here they've got it just right. It's tender, juicy, and satisfying with each bite. You can tell the chefs know what they're doing. Oh, and let's not forget the oysters. They were fresh, briny, and just a nice complement to the spicy crawfish. They weren't the star of the show, but they held their own.The place itself had a laid-back vibe, no frills or fancy stuff, just good food in a comfortable setting. The staff were friendly but let you enjoy your meal, which I appreciated. To sum it up, if you're a seafood lover like me, you really ought to try this place. It's not just about the food; it's about the whole experience, the flavors, the ambiance, and the feeling that you're sharing a local secret. If you're nearby, give it a shot.

First time trying this place! This place is phenomenal! Food, ambiance, and service was on point! We got 5lbs of crawfish and level of spice was perfect! I will be sure to come back really soon!

I'm hooked. I will be there as much as possible. The service was top tier. I asked for it hot and then I wanted it even more hot and they accommodated that.

Have been here several times this week, and they never disappoint. They had specials all week for their 10th birthday! Service was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful. We had their raw oyster special, a $7/dozen & $0.50 wings. We also ordered crawfish and boiled shrimp with the house special sauce and it was delicious! They do get busy so prepare to wait a bit if you have a big party, it'll be worth it. Come show your support if you're in the area, can't wait to see what specials they'll have next.

The food is impeccable. I haven't found anything on the menu I have been dissatisfied with yet. Very consistent!

Love this place. Everything is so good. Crawfish flavor is one of the best in Houston. And their raw oysters are also one of the best I've had. I Had 2 dozen today. Lol

Always here when I can. However it's even a while since I've had the Hungry Home Platter since they're always out. If I can be frank, probably the only place with such a valuable deal. I love it here.

I absolutely love this place, customer service is great, the food is great! Be prepared to wait, it's so worth it.
