Texas Cajun Connection Food and Candy

Pretty good shrimp quesadillas. Although can be super greasy at times. Forgot to give the sauce the last time and I was pretty disappointed

One of the BEST hidden gems I've discovered since living in Texas. While hanging out with my aunt & uncle who lives in Porter, they told us about this new "food truck zone" in the area that's worth checking out. Decided to check out this spot.Been here several times over the past few months & I must admit, I'm in LOVE with this place! Let's start with the fish tacos. They use fresh tilapia, some of the best I've ever tasted; then it's battered in a flavorful Cajun batter, fried to perfection and slid in between a perfectly soft shell topped with lettuce, cheese and spices to make some of the best fish tacos I've ever had in my LIFE.Let's move on to another one of my faves off their menu, the BBQ brisket fries. They use waffle fries that are well seasoned and perfectly fried topped with what I describe as amazing goodness. The brisket is smoked perfectly and very tender dressed in an amazing mild BBQ sauce. Both of these menu items are top recommended & I can order either one a million times and won't get sick of it!Additionally, the owners are this very nice and humble local couple. It's tucked towards the back of the food truck zone so it's easy to miss but if you're in the area, this place is absolutely worth a visit!

Amazing gumbo!! Hot and everything in it but the kitchen sink!!! Really fresh ingredients and the staff is beyond friendly!! Highly recommend this place

This place is delicious. I got the catfish and shrimp basket. Glad to have a real seafood spot on our side of town. They serve real catfish not the fake one. If craving seafood definitely give this place a try.
