Tap 42 Midtown

Tap 42 is fire! Came here today for a Sunday lunch and had the best time. There was a DJ setting the vibe, playing good jams.The food is surprisingly good for a chain! We had the fish and chips and tuna poke salad. I don't know how they make the fish and chips taste so fresh and authentic (I'm from London). The tuna poke salad was so good! Some of the best tuna I've had.As far as drinks, the espresso martini is fire and the drinks came out almost instantly.Overall a good pick!

The food was so very good. The chicken and waffles had lots of flavor but the waffles for me were a little hard, maybe due to them being Belgian style. But overall the service was amazing! Our waitress was super attentive and super sweet. The place was super nice on the inside and the music was spot on. This was one of the best brunch places in Miami. I will be visiting again.

Stopped in for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Wanted to give this place another try because the food was good. However, the service was TRASH our first time here previously! Anyway, when we arrived, it wasn't too crowded and we were seated immediately. The DJ was playing really good music throughout and it wasn't too loud. We had the prickly pear margarita (the BEST!! Just get it), calamari, chicken and waffles, and the truffle filet steak sandwich. Everything was prepared fresh and seasoned well. Jodeci was our waitress and she was great! She provided great service and was friendly. This time around, made up for our first experience. Great food and drinks!

My family and I came to tap 42 to celebrate my cousin's college graduation. When making the reservations, it was very easy and the hosts were very accommodating. Once majority of our party arrived, we were able to be seated. When you have a large party, tap 42 midtown can offer outdoor patio seating or a back area that has 2 long tables to accommodate over 10+ people. Our waiters for the evening were very nice, accommodating, and efficient. They handled our large party very well and gave great suggestions. We ordered the guacamole and chips, chicken lettuce wraps, and calamari. Everything tasted amazing, especially the calamari. Thick long pieces of calamari fried to a nice crisp paired with a sweet chili sauce on the side was perfect. Also, their drinks are crafted very nicely. We ordered the lychee martini which had the perfect blend of sweetness and alcohol to where it wasn't overpowering. Also during brunch hours, tap 42 has a DJ that kept the vibes up and create a nice atmosphere for everyone. Needless to say, I cannot wait to come backto tap 42 and enjoy the food and the vibes.

My fav neighborhood go to for happy hour and sporting events. Good food,pricing,and staff!

Ocassionally I crave a mean burger and I can't help but swing by here for some of that goodness. Truffle fries are great. I'd say everything I've ordered here is great. Ambiance is good and the outdoor seating area was just enhanced and I appreciate their effort to block off views of traffic recently by adding coverings to their fencing - it makes it more comfortable than before.

I just think the food is not good at all and the servers are overworked. It's always loud and packed but the bottomless mimosas are a fan favorite amongst the crowd . You not missing anything

Giving 5 stars specifically for the DJ on Thursdays and Saturdays! I go when he's there and it's always a great time, his music is great. I love the food and drinks too it's always an awesome time

Lived in Aventura and went to the T42 there for years, moved to North Bay Village and now come here pretty much every Saturday. Eric and Joel rock as bartenders! Chicken Fingers, Lettuce Wraps, HangOver Sandwich and crispy rice app are our go tos and don't disappoint!
