What a magnificent meal I had at Tam Tam. This unassuming downtown Miami restaurant was recently voted one of the best new restaurants in America by Bon Appetit and I can see why. Tam Tam is serving absolutely wonderful Vietnamese food with a solid wine selection to match. The place is on the smaller side, so you should try and snag a resi. I've been hearing how wonderful Tam Tam is from friends, and when I finally made my way we opted to order:+Tam Tam Wings: these were crispy and coated in a fish sauce caramel with cilantro and lime. I loooooved them.+Nhau Bone Marrow: there's just something about the decadence of bone marrow, and when you hit it with some chili infused fish sauce, it gets even better.+Goat Curry: this is the star - it's served with egg noodle, lemongrass, and the most delicious sauce.I paired this meal with a nice glass or Riesling. The wine list is awesome, and definitely a good spot to grab a bottle to share with friends. I loved my visit to Tam Tam and can't wait to go back. It's awesome to see such great food coming out of the Downtown Miami area.

First things first, the food at Tam Tam was delicious. The table favorite was the chicken wings, and the lease favorite was the ribs (ours were really salty). We were sat outside because we did have a larger party, but we would have appreciated the staff being nicer when we asked about inside seating as well. The inside of the restaurant was trendy, intimate, and there was not a lot of room to move around. Overall, I would recommend hitting up Tam Tam if you are in Miami and want to try a twist on traditional Vietnamese food!(Also, the bar next door serves really good drinks)

We had heard and read how popular Tam Tam was and that this was the new Miami party spot to go to now. We finally had a chance to go yesterday evening. But when we got there, we didn't see nor hear any parties going on. Instead, it was a nice, quiet Vietnamese restaurant with all ages of people tasting Vietnamese food and drinks. The place is nicely but conservatively decorated but nothing Miami style. The place seems popular because all tables and the bar were filled up. We ordered several dishes and split them. We had the 5 Spiced Duck Noodle, the Mushroom dish, the Ribs dish, the Scallop Goi, and the Pandan Tres Leches dishes. For drinks, we ordered the cute Margarita Pigs. We have been to many different Vietnamese restaurants that had far better tasting dishes than these dishes so we were kind of disappointed with what we ordered. The Duck and noodle dish tasted like they were yesterday's meal. The ribs had very little meat attached to the bone. Thr sauce was thick and made them look bigger than they were. The mushrooms were just ok. The drinks tasted like any other good margarita drink. The prices were rather high for what was served. The service was excellent though. This place was on our bucket list but I doubt we will return, sad to say.

WOW WOW WOW! I've heard great things about Tâm Tâm and was so excited to give it a try when my friend made a reservation in celebration of Resy's anniversary. Tâm Tâm is located downtown with street parking available nearby. There is also the metro one block away which is very convenient! The staff is very friendly and consistently checked in on us. Due to the Resy promotion they gave us sweet vermouth made in house. It was sweet and tasted like coconut. We ordered two small plates and one larger plates and found that to be enough! We ordered the shrimp crudo and bone marrow. The sauce the shrimp crudo is in was so delicious I wanted to drink it! I highly recommend that dish! The bone marrow was rich and decadent, it left me wanting more! Finally the goat curry was our large dish and it was enough to share. It was so good and well worth it. I will be thinking about this dish long after. Finally we got their version of tres leches and it was also very good and different! I would order this treat again! If you go please stop by the bathroom for a fun surprise haha! I'm already planning my next trip back!

I was really excited to try Tam Tam after hearing countless great things from friends and online. We finally snagged a table a week ago and eagerly counted down the days. When the day arrived, it was pouring rain here in Miami, but we decided to brave the weather since we were so excited.Upon arrival, we were immediately seated. The restaurant is small, nicely decorated, and had some outdoor seating as well. However, it started to pour, making the outdoor diners come inside, and that's when things took a turn for the worse. I noticed a clear shift in the staff's attitude. The restaurant is small, so I understand the pressure to turn tables, but it was honestly frustrating. We were repeatedly asked if we were done eating, even while we were still mid-bite with food still on our plates. Plates were whisked away the moment they were half-empty, and it felt like we were being rushed to finish. What was supposed to be a relaxed dinner turned into a hurried experience. Despite ordering a bottle of wine and multiple dishes for the 4 of us at our table to share, we were in and out in just an hour!! It was insane. As for the food, it was hit or miss. The chicken wings were outstanding--like nothing we'd tried before. But the pork belly lettuce wraps were the saltiest food I've ever had. It felt like the pork belly was accidentally salted twice (or three times).Given the rushed service and food inconsistencies, I'm hesitant to return, which is a real shame. I had high hopes for Tam Tam, but the experience fell short.

Super delicious, really loved it. Had the ribs-best part of the meal. So good. Fall off the bone meat, sticky delicious sauce, really amazing. Also had the chicken wings. Very very good. Steak tartar really fantastic. Unusual, a little extra citrus-y or vinegar-y, but delicious . Then we had the goat stew. I'm not a big goat fan, just don't love the overall flavor, so this wasn't my favorite. But it wasn't bad. Had a nice sauce. I guess if you like goat you'll like it a lot more than I did. Then we had tres leches cake for dessert, which was also super delicious . I'd absolutely go back. The only negative thing I can say about it is there's just no street parking and the lot costs $30, which is a lot.

I love me some Vietnamese food and was totally excited to try Tam Tam!We were the first to arrive and patiently sat outside waiting for the restaurant to open its doors. We finally made it inside and took a seat at the bar. The interior of the restaurant was very tiny, but cozy and eclectic. The menu was relatively limited, but most of the items sounded delicious so it was not an issue finding dishes that sounded tasty. For our first round we ordered the scallop ceviche. It was incredibly delicious and melt in your mouth tender. The kefir lime and various seasonings was basically like experiencing a party in your mouth Next up was the beef tartar. We enjoyed it but it was not a standout item for me.Next came the Crispy crunchy tam tam wings. Were they ever yummy! The marinade was Definitely a winner in my book. For our last dish we ordered the curry goat with noodles. I really love the flavor. It was very mild, but savory, delicious and creamy. We also ordered the quail, but neither one of us liked the flavor so we sent it back. We ended the night with a banana chocolate trifle, which was dreamy, but very small. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Tam Tam.

I've been wanting to try Tam Tam for a while now. Went with a party of 5 and the service was phenomenal. The staff really works together to keep all dirty plates off the table, constantly checking on your drinks etc. I tried the scallop crudo, the salad, wings, the ribs, lamb situation cheese cake and pavlova. Everyone raves about the wings but I didn't see the hype. My favorite items were the lotus root salad and lamb situation, very very good and all the different flavors really came together. I also enjoyed the spiked coffee drink, I tried some other cocktails but this was definitely the best one in my opinion. The tres leches was sold out for dessert so we ended up getting the other two desserts on the menu. The vegan cheesecake was good, and everyone at the table enjoyed it, the pavlova was fresh and light not too sweet and pretty refreshing!

Lovely experience! Very intriguing and capturing ambiance from the music, wall art, dining furniture...even the leisure outfits of the service team were inviting. It created for an inviting vibe and set the stage for what amazing tasty food was to come. Our server was super friendly and had no issue describing the menu, favorites, and how we should approach the dining experience. So my partner and I chose to dig in with Lotus Root Salad, Tam Tam Wings, and Tamarind Glazed Pork Ribs as appetizers. Which all were satisfying in their own respect. Lotus Root Salad was such a refreshing taste, nice crunch with the vegetables and citrusy juice. Tam Tam wings were thick, well seasoned and just the perfect texture and garnishes. The Ribs were fall of the bone delectable and paired well with the pickles and crushed walnuts. We ordered a cocktail (Frozen Mango Basil Margarita) that didn't disappoint. Served as a pretty good palette cleanser and gave a slight buzz. ;)We barely had enough room for the main course which was the Goat Curry, which came with the egg noodles and mint leaves. The little bit of room we had left in our stomach for was for bite or two of the Main Course . Loved it the most ! We ended the night by the Resy reservation giving us a complimentary ice cream scoop! 10 out of 10 for me! I'll would definitely recommend dining here. Make sure you reserve in advance because the place fills up pretty quickly.
