Honestly just upset i hadn't gone sooner! Went here the other weeknight for cocktails and some dinner with a friend really enjoyed this place. Located on Purdy so it is street parking but they do have a small parking lot that has to pay to park as well as a little parking area across the street that is the same. I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere and how dim the lighting was. Out server Kristy was very insightful and all around so pleasant They have a great happy hour along with some nights where they have half off all bottles of wine. I tried the caviar deviled eggs and crispy baked tabasco oysters which were both spectacular. I also had the coconut shrimp which was delicious but i have to be frank didn't taste much like coconut. The cobia tiradito was good in the sense of sauce its in along with the add along of the popcorn which is a fun thing to eat with the sauce. but the cobia itself was a bit hard to chew for fish. We finished it off with a cookie pan which had a delicious coconut gelato. Our meal was complimented with some cocktails that i will say were delicious as well. I had a Calypso and my friend had a Sunset harbor which i tried that was equally great! Can't wait to go back and try the fish dip and whole fried fish. Along with some raw oysters this time :)

Pleasantly surprised! This was my first lunch during Miami Spice and I don't regret it. Now based on the images online, we were expecting a different set up - it looked like it was on the water but gave more of an elevated pub vibe across from a marina in Sunset Harbor. It was slow on a Monday so the bartender doubled as our server; attentive and personable. For $35, we enjoyed 3 courses and my friend had a promotion for a complimentary glass of rose or wine. I started with the crab cake - as a DMV native I'm particular about crab cakes but this one hit the spot. It was a nice size which is uncommon for a starter and it was delicious. They were out of the Fishtail sandwich but I was able to sub it with the Crispy Hogtail and it was so good! Flaky, perfect pickled veggies and well seasoned. Ending with the coconut key lime pie, I enjoyed it but it was a little too tangy to finish the whole thing. Overall this was a great choice for Miami Spice, considering the price point and options provided.

I was able to finally check out the place on the last day of Miami spice and the food didn't disappoint. Upon arrival I was expecting something different. For some reason I expected a water view as did my friend but it's a cute quaint restaurant. If sitting inside to escape the heat of the outside patio it is definitely a strong fish smell upon entering but it's a fish house. So there's that. Our waiter was so good. Funny and suggested menu items. I will note that they were out of the friend chicken at 1:30 in the afternoon and the fish tail sandwich was swapped out for the hog head. So I got the fish dip, hog head sandwich, and the cast iron brownie. Washed it all down with a glass of rose'. None of the food items missed. I'd definitely visit again.

I had such a great time. The shrimp appetizer was incredible. They were big. They were fresh. We tried several different dishes and nothing disappointed us. The mahi-mahi truly tasted like lobster. The service was excellent. The staff knew exactly what to recommend the drinks. Killer bar specials were really good, the ambience was very upbeat. Great place for a date night or a gathering with friends. I truly don't have anything negative to say it was a pleasure going there. Remember your wallet till next time bon appétit

I was only in town for one night, staying nearby, but I had the best dinner here. Their happy hour menu is a wonderful mix of snacks and I wanted to try them all. I ended up with the peel & eat shrimp, watermelon salad and the buffalo fish wings (which I didn't even know existed). Everything was delicious. The fresh shrimp, perfectly ripe watermelon and tangy spicy fish wings. If I lived closer, I'd be there all the time!

This completely unassuming place, that is up for a James Beard, is going to leave you full and happy! Made reservations on a random Miami night and it was so good, we came back the following day. Between both days, we ordered:Buffalo fish wings - 10 out of 10 for sure. Unique idea to use the whole fish - it's meaty and packed with flavor Smoked fish dip - It's light and delicious coupled with their house made chips and pickled onions and peppers - finger-licking goodSweet corn spoon spread - this was pretty meh. Didnt like the texture and the taste fell flat. Tiradito - super fresh, light and paired perfectly with the ripe avocado and the popcorn and hominy added such a different and unexpected touch and flavor. Genius dish!Scallops & pork belly - this was unexpectedly rich with the most perfectly seared scallops, which are my favorites. It has amazing Asian flare with the pok choy and rich soy sauce. Caviar deviled eggs - they were good but nothing to write home about. The following day for brunch, we had the smoked fish dip (yes, again lol). My wife ordered the fish sandwich. Wish I could share if it was good but judging by how she devoured it and I didn't even get to sniff it, I would say it was damn good, lol. I ordered a sort of crab french toast. Now hear me out - it was BANGIN'! I wasnt sure what to expect but the sweetness of the bread caught me off guard and the richness of the béchamel sauce was INSANE. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what the name of the dish is and even worse, cannot find it listed on the brunch menu. I promise, however, it is there, and it is definitely enough of a portion to share with two people.Beyond the food being absolutely delicious this place is so chill and vibe. Is Poppin and the staff seems really chill and down to earth. You arent rushed by any means so it's a great place to graze over multiple dishes and chat with your friends and family. All in all, a spot I definitely plan to return to again, and again when I am in Miami Beach. Enjoy!

Although I'm a regular at Stiltsville I had my best experience today at brunch. Reni was extremely knowledgeable & personable and was able to answer all of my questions about the menu without hesitation. The food never disappoints but today's meal was particularly superb. The fish wings are one of my favorite menu items and I've had them several times but for some reason today's catch was out of this world. And the fact that Reni was able to explain the why's and how's made it that much better of an experience. The conch fritters were phenomenal; not some nonsense cornmeal with a splash of conch, but conch you could taste! My husband and I come here all the time but we brought a first timer with us and were so happy to share this experience with them. We will obviously continue to visit but are so glad we turned someone else onto this place.

I'd been looking forward to eating at Stiltsville Fish Bar for a while. When we arrived it was kind of busy but we got seated right away. The building is neat with garage doors that open up for a semi outdoor feel. The bar is cool. It has a casual upscale vibe. My daughter and I shared a beautiful yellowtail fish and my sisters got the swordfish special. The fish was cooked perfectly with some tasty asparagus. We ordered some sides. The conch fritters were really good. The buffalo fish wings were something new to me and I loved them. The caviar deviled eggs were amazing! Now to the sweet corn spoon bread. I can't say enough to convey how delicious this dish was. Growing up in the South, I know spoon bread. This was the best I ever ate. We shared several desserts so we were completely satisfied. If you're in Miami, you should eat here. Chef's kiss!
