"Seattle has a fair share of aesthetic cafes and desserts, fortunately distributed around the greater Seattle area. This one is located a bit more north, in Edmonds, while there are other ones like Onit in Federal Way, Kakigori Cafe, and Snowy Village in Seattle. Each has its own charm, with this one serving various desserts, most of which are coffee (specifically einspanner), croffles (croissant waffles), and bingsoo. I tried the black sesame einspanner, ube ice cream croffle, brown cheese ice cream croffle with nutella, and mango bingsoo here. Each of these is served in a nice tray with some old articles underneath as decor. The einspanner is really good and fairly strong, but definitely a lot sweeter than the ones I have had in its origin when I was in Vienna. I do love the aesthetics and the shovel to just eat the cream which has an apparent black sesame flavor but not overpowering the drink. The croffles were also pretty good. The ice cream contrasts with the warm croffle, and the croffle is buttery and soft. It is a bit on the sweeter side so one order can feed 2 people or more, unless you have a sweet tooth. I liked the ube one a bit more than the brown cheese one.The bingsoo was a bit of a miss. The mango was overly ripe and had a weird aftertaste which is not reminiscent of fresh mango slices. The bingsoo was a bit light and the condensed milk on the side adds some sweetness to it. We only needed to pour a little since we preferred less sweet for the desserts overall.Overall, this is a pretty aesthetic cafe that is ideal for both small and large groups (though it can get a little busy), so it is good for catching up or dates."
"TLDR: I have no idea why this place isn't full of customers; food is great, service is friendly, restaurant is clean and well decorated.Came here after a visit to Hong Kong market. It's conveniently located near the market, hidden in a corner. I think the most significant difference between pho restaurants is the broth. The broth here is extremely authentic, just like the pho I've had in Vietnam or at my Vietnamese friends' houses growing up. Bottom line, solid place that deserves more traffic."
"We were really excited to try this place for the first time! We were excited about all the options they had available. We finally settled for the crab Rangoon, honey garlic wings, sundubu, and pho. Everything tasted really good! I've had better sundubu tofu soup elsewhere but it still tasted good. We'd love to come back and try other items on the menu. The cashier was friendly and explained where to grab sides and utensils. Nice little place on the inside. Also, the Thai tea was delicious! I forgot to take a picture but highly recommend everyone to give it a try!"
"Dive bar vibes in SODO. One bartender and a large amount of people clammering to get a drink. So intensely crowded after a Mariners game. Fun vibes here though even though it was packed. Diverse age group as well which made this old lady (lol) feel ok to be out so late at a bar. Fun times and strong pours. Loads of televisions showing movies and sports. A dart board and two bar areas. We went to the back bar thinking it would be faster, nope. No worries. The one lady bartender was absolutely killing it behind the bar. Pouring drinks like a boss! Legit fun and good times here. If you happen to be in downtown Seattle and want to have a late night beverage come here. It is a full bar with a good choice of beers on tap too. Cheers everyone and happy Yelping."
"Had a great Yelp elite experience here. The menu is extensive and lots of great choices. You can customize the drink as well. I got the Thai green milk tea with lychee jelly. The drinks were made great and tasted good. The staff was very nice and friendly. There is some seating in the boba shop. There is a good amount of parking in the complex as well. I would come to this boba shop again and highly recommend these guys."
"The pies really are as fine as silk! Really like the creme brûlée, which was exceptional. My other favorites were some of the chocolate pies and the gingerbread fountain. Loads of parking in the huge parking lot. But it was a bit hard to find as I was expecting a large sign on the outside of the building announcing the Alaska Silk Pie Company. The 5-year anniversary party was amazing! Great food, amazing pies, and interesting people."
"OK so I had this lady tell me that this teriyaki was so good and the people are so nice so I decided to go and give it a shot. The lady at the front was very nice. The teriyaki is the worst I've ever had sorryThe sauce is very thick and does not really taste like teriyaki sauce and the dressing for the salad was just as thick. I'm sure the family likes thick sauce not my favorite."
"Cute and delicious, brand new French and Italian style dessert and snack shop just opened in downtown Kirkland 5 days ago.Decorated in lots of pink flowers and Audry Hepburn pictures, the gals in your life will love this place.Stopped in to pick up pastries to go, but they have dine-in too. (Wifey wants to come back with her GF's for lunch here.). I got 4 pastries: Tiramisu bar, chocolate decadence, hazelnut something, and a Paris Best Eclair. Tasted them all, and all were wonderful. Being a chocoholic though, the chocolate decadence was my fav.Peeked at the food menu and saw salads, sandwiches, and dessert size waffle and pancake dishes. Will have to come back and try the waffles....and more pastries too.Oh, they also have fresh loaves of bread."
"We have been here so many times. The noodles and dumplings are delicious and freshly made. Service could get better. Prices are reasonable. Easy to find, ample parking spots."
"I love Seattle. Even after the pandemic quarantine hit two weeks after moving here, I will still take Seattle over every other city, except maybe Paris. The SODO Wine Tasting scene just adds to the allure of the Emerald City. Located in a festive strip mall of happy imbibing, Rotie Cellars is my choice of wine amongst the dozens of tasting rooms sitting side by side. What a fabulous concept! If my hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin created this same concept with breweries, it would be a Woodstock of beer drinking, "400,000 strong." Luis was our wine handler on this glorious Saturday in September, following a week of bad forest fire air. He was charming, entertaining and customized our tasting. Join Rotie's club. It's worth it, as I received "special" treatment at Rotie, making the experience even better. I love Rhône Valley wines, especially the North. That is what Rotie is aiming for. One of Rotie's developers reveres Jacques Perrin, (Rotie's Homage) and a case of 1990 Beaucastel CDP Hommage a Jacques Perrin is one of my prized possessions. Thus, all the wines were wonderful, some reaching the heights of my palate choice, especially the Northern Red and the 2019 Southern White. We had a blast at Rotie Cellars thanks to Luis, the great wine, good friends, the festive ambiance and the vibe of Seattle. What pandemic? What climate change? What election? What city council? It was great not trying to solve the world's problems for a couple of hours. Rotie Cellars provided a wonderful way to welcome in my new year. La Shana Tova."
"Easy online ordering, food was fresh. But reason I'm writing this is who ever rolled my burrito has strong skills , didn't fall apart and layered perfectly."
"Small mom n pop place everything made fresh. Had the soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Both very flavorful. The soup is served more tepid than steaming hot. The service is friendly and prompt. The seating is pretty cool made up of eclectic furniture"
Disclaimer: The cream on top is not dairy-free!If you like cream, you'll love this drink! The strong coffee flavor, mixed with our thick house made cream, make this a perfect dessert coffee drink. This one features a healthy dollop of sweet black sesame on top. Try our signature Einspanners today!

"Always enjoyed the food here. Used to go every week when I used to work close by. Every now and then I still swing by. Food taste just as good. Boiled fish, crispy chicken are among my favorite."
"I've really been enjoying the quinoa salad at this location and am happy that this place exists so that I can add it into my take out lunch rotation. I've been hoping for some better lunch options around this area for a long time, as there are so few places that can accommodate a vegan friendly diet. Parking can be difficult, although free, and the service is not as fast as I would prefer, but I guess that's probably because everything is made fresh. Service behind the counter has been friendly and I like how you can see back into the kitchen area while they prepare your food. It looks like I can save some time by ordering online via the website. So far the quinoa salad is the only thing I have tried although many of the other salad options also sound appealing. I like that this is a healthy food option and that things are fresh, I am sure many people are excited that its organic. I wanted to try the soup, but they have been out of it whenever I ask. The quinoa salad is pretty huge and comes with delicious avocados in it. My coworkers have reported enjoying the things they have tried as well. I plan to take advantage of the smoothies and coffee on a visit soon. Personally I would love to see some more vegan friendly options, but they did assure me I could remove the dairy from most items."
"This was a late birthday event. I mean, who doesn't like birthday tacos? But I will admit to shedding a tear for the space that Kingfish Cafe used to inhabit. Tacos and a Pacifico hit the spot on a sunny afternoon. It's no Michelin star establishment but this was a nice place for an afternoon lunch."
"I'll be back! with friends! we stopped on a whim. what a pleasant surprise in downtown Everett! a small inconspicuous front opens into a narrow yet welcoming interior with a faux cherry blossom tree, semi-private booths, regular tables along the wall, and understated art. the feel is calm and serene. the background pop music volume was not deafening and we could converse without shouting at each other. my only wish was that the music was Japanese pop music. the menu is sn extensive Japanese- focused menu. the ramen choices are mostly traditional style and not too wacky. appetizers and entrees, again, are Japanese focused and mostly traditional. service was attentive and low-key.lovely serving plates.tonkotsu ramen: above expectations. I'm not a tonkotsu broth fan, but on another whim, decided to order. the broth was a light, creamy broth unlike the gluey, fatty broth that seems to be de riguer nowadays. large portion of chasu, not the common paper-thin single slice. perfect egg slice. tons of bamboo shoots, and super thinly sliced green onions. i was pleased to see red pepper on the table I happily added to my ramen. no sriracha please!steamed buns with pork belly: as expected. buns were fluffy, they did not skimp on the pork belly. I did not care for the sauce, but that's a personal taste.karaage don: loaded with crispy seasoned karaage. a huge portion of lightly pickled very thinly sliced cucumber was a delightful surprise and a calming foil to the muscular karaage serving. too much mayo, imho, but again, my personal preference. my dining partner loved it.rice (in the donburi): outstanding! steaming hot, moist, and tender. not dried out. not microwave reheated.noodles: perfect! slightly al dented, not mushy. it's on the thinner side and curly: my favorite style of ramen noodles.good food and the price is right.I'll be back. I want to build my own shoyu ramen and try all the other appetizers, and the Kyoto beer.highly recommended."
"This is an awesome spot for congee, fresh fried Chinese donuts, and snacks. Breakfast only inside the hot pot restaurant, but be early if you want to avoid a crowd. You can't beat the all you can eat congee with fresh donuts (which cost extra). After you get your first bowl, you just refill yourself at the congee bar, and you can try all the flavors and toppings you want."
"They have some affordable pizza that is pretty good and can also be warmed up fast. We came here during the day in between lunch and dinner and there were various pies in the display -- cheese, pepperoni, veggie, breadsticks, etc. I think they also make garlic knots upon request. I think the only thing that might be difficult with eating here was that there was very little air circulation inside the shop -- it was warm and could have used some air either more fans or the AC. But overall the $6 slices were pretty affordable and convenient."
"Our Lift driver told us about this place. It's walking distance from Marriott waterfront and pier 66. I ordered nachos and hubby ordered burritos. Both were delicious! Very generous potions. Highly recommended!"
"Over a year since my first review and still fantastic. In this day and age, as businesses, sadly, come and go -- all too often retro trendy spots that have been around for a long time - then it's something to say that the quality of the experience at a restaurant is still 5 stars. Got the katsu tofu burger with an egg added (recommend - add the egg, makes everything come together) and the 12-spice fries. My family member who was craving a burger got the chicken katsu and added pineapple and ginger. Yum. Add to this friendly service (they have added order kiosks since I last came - I'm fine with that!).I loved seeing the range of customers who come in here on a weekday. Folks that work nearby in hands-on labor jobs. Folks who live or work farther afield yet still stop by for a good sandwich and a memorable meal.Highly recommend."
"Love the cuban sandwich and yuca fries. I usually order at westlake square when truck comes few times a month. I love it but just it's very inconvenient take it to go because sauces that they have there doesn't have any lid. One time I came with my own small containers and put sauces there because I was arranging my husbands business lunch in our high-rise in downtown and took 4 sandwiches to go and sauces."

(Overall: 3.5) Aesthetics and menu of Our Place Dessert Cafe drew me in - I've been dying for a cafe like this in our area so we took a drive to visit! We went on a Saturday and as we expected, it was pretty busy. Inside is spacious with various sized tables. We were lucky that a table had some open seats and took those. We got the Blanc Pistachio Einspanner and Oreo Einspanner, as well as the Strawberry Croffle. Presentation was beautiful and the little postcards on the trays were a cute touch. We really enjoyed both, but they were a bit sweet for our liking Croffle was made fresh so it was still crispy and hot! I honestly would really enjoy a plain one of these, or one of the less sweet options next time I go, if it's something they offer. Another thing I really liked was that the Blanc Pistachio was COVERED in tons of pistachios. I'd be interested to try a variety of their menu because of the unique options. The only downside was the volume of people and many groups taking up seats for long periods of time. We were barely finishing the Croffle when an employee asked us if we'd move so a larger group could sit at the table we were at. It left me feeling a bit disappointed and rushed...

Had a big event at KCAC and this restaurant was suggested as the post meet lunch. We were able to make reservations and they were able to accommodate our group size...about 11 adults and 7 teenagers. 2 pluses!Place was clean, and spacious. Staff were friendly. For a big group, they did well taking our orders. Only one mistake -- I ordered 1-P2 and 2-P3, but got 2-P2 and 1-P3. Luckily they were somewhat similar so we were ok with what we got. Since it's a big group, I don't know what the rest ordered but what we ordered was:A2 Goi Cuon - Spring Rolls appetizer (2 rolls) - was disappointed about this. VERY thinly sliced shrimp, a hint of the pork, a small piece of a lettuce, and A LOT of vermicelli noodle. So not much taste unless you pour the peanut sauce all over. P2 Pho Tai - Steak PhoP3 Pho Tai Chin - Steak & Brisket PhoBoth Pho were good. We ordered the regular bowl. It was a good portion for lunch. If you're super hungry and eat a lot, you might want the large. We were only given one plate of the Thai basil, sprouts, lime wedges to share among 4 adults. I'm used to being given a plate just for me! So we asked for a second plate and they gave it to us with no issues.Ca Phe Sua Da - to my knowledge is Vietnamese ice coffee (emphasis on ice). So when we said we wanted 1 Ca Phe Sua Da and 1 Ca Phe Da (which we know as Vietnamese coffee...as in hot coffee) it confused the server. So we clarified by saying we wanted one hot and one cold. It was good. Mango bubble tea - I didn't get to taste this but was told it was good. I'd go back again.

We needed an easy and healthier lunch option after playing some golf, and I was dying for a vermicelli noodle bowl. Picked this spot because we loved all the menu options. They have a huge menu with something for everyone! Japchae, pho, ramen, vermicelli, fried rice, appetizers, boba... they have it all! I was feeling ambitious and asked the person taking our order if I could get my vermicelli bowl with katsu chicken and they were thrilled that I wanted to do something new, even said "I'm going to have to try that, that sounds amazing". And it was! The katsu breast was so perfectly crispy while not dry at all, the noodles and salad were fresh and perfect. My partner got the Japchae and decided to do it with a katsu breast on the side as well. The Japchae was so delicately sweet and savory. It was all so delicious! We also devoured the gyoza, which was crispy and flavorful. I got a Thai iced tea, which was the perfect balance and refreshing to wash down my lunch with. My partner got the coconut boba smoothie and it was so much like gully wash (without the rum, of course) it was incredible. The restaurant itself was peaceful, ample seating, food shows playing on the tv to get you psyched for your meal, and the server was polite and warm. Will definitely recommend this spot to friends who head towards Renton!

Came here for a work happy hour tonight. I am a dive bar fanatic and this is a great one. Can't believe it's my first time here. You can smell the old beer on the floor when you walk in. Good diverse crowd here and heavy pours. Good music playing too. Can't wait to come back again.

Came in for the Yelp Elite event, fully confident I had RSVPd...and guess what? Your girl wasn't on the list -_- but guess what? Owner/manager was amazing enough to let me participate so that was super kind. It speaks volumes of the quality of the staff. I've had their drinks at this location before so I know the quality is good already. I got the purple galaxy with coffee lychee (Elite drink) and my husband got a tea drink with clear boba. The place was definitely packed at 9:30 PM so...come early y'all.

Phylis is friendly and makes great cakes! I had discovered her on Yelp by chance when I was looking for cakes for my husband and we have been hooked since. So far every single cake that we had ordered from her has been amazing. They do delivery and pick up but if you live in PNW I would just recommend a pick up as parking is convenient. It is located upstairs inside the green SoDo building. We even ordered Caramel Apple for our puppies birthday -- obviously we had a feast on our own but she got a little to taste. We were happy campers.

Teriyaki sauce is gelatinous and doesn't taste good. No ginger dressing for salad, no vegetables as a side. Lots of teriyaki restaurants around, skip this place.

The best place to live out your Viscountess Bridgerton fantasy!I came by with a few friends, and we were seated for high tea at this gorgeous table! Our reservation included so many options - teas, coffees, light appetizers, finger sandwiches, and desserts. I tried every single item from our menu, and it was so worth it - every single one of them was scrumptious! Plus, despite sounding pretty light, the food was actually quite filling and we all had leftovers to take home! The best part was how cute the area was. It really felt like I was at a fancy event instead of a smaller shop - the perfect getaway from everyday life.I absolutely had an incredible time and highly recommend!!

They meet you under the tent and take your order and very friendly at the end of the drive thru. The ambiance of the restaurant overall appears great. I'd recommend this location for good food and great brownies. Thanks for making my birthday special with my free brownie."
"The only bubble tea place in the area with chrysanthemum tea which is my favorite. You get to pick the level of sweetness and ice level. This place is always busy but service is alway fast. There isn't much to this place but a counter to order your drinks and a little sales area. Don't expect to be able to sit and drink your Rea."
"**vegetarian review**Who doesnt like Mamnoon Street. I am yet to meet people who dont appreciate this place. I have been there for many years and tried basically the entire menu. I used to love fleifleih which isnt on the menu anymore. Their Falafal wrap is awesome and very very filling. Their Mujadara is so so good as well - this used to be my goto order at their sister restaurant - anar. Their new special - cant remember the name but has aubergine is really good too. See the trend? everything they make is very well done - so dont think twice!"
"Great small Saturday Farmers Market with exceptional, multicolored produce. This place is so hippie chic!! I felt a little out of place in my Seattle grey and dark denim, but there was a tie-dye stand at the Market, should you be inspired to go local.I love this small market. Enjoyable live music (and later, taped Irish folk music) played on the loud speaker. The produce was incredible: orange and yellow cucumbers, vine ripe tomatoes in all colors, enormous multicolored kale, beans galore. Everything farm fresh. Not a lot of baked goods or food vendors, but there is a great carmel vendor (Vashon's own King's Carmels) who was tasting and selling a bevy of flavors, including the mouth watering ginger carmel. (Of coarse, our daughter liked the straight ahead caramels, and who wouldn't?) We bought some bison steaks from a couple of ex-investment bankers now running the "Midlife Crisis Farm." (Gotta love it.) We cooked them up tonight, medium rare with melted butter on top. So good. The market reminded me of a smaller version of the organic Farmer's Market on Salt Spring Island in B.C. complete with craftspeople, organic farmers, food artisans and local island kids running around and hiding under tables.Anytime I am missing the Bay Area and Santa Cruz, or don't feel like driving all the way to B.C. and taking a ferry to Salt Spring, I will have to come here instead. Hippie fabulousness!"
"If there's one snack/meal/"food" that'd I'd never get tired of, it's salad. And for real, this is 2020. If you think salad only consists of spinach, sliced tomatoes and overly oily Italian dressing, you best get out from under that rock you've been living under! This location is pretty darn nice; especially compared to others mainly because it's pleasantly spacious & airy. It's also a short walk from my office. The staff is pretty standard and cordial but not too knowledgeable with some ingredients (or maybe the supplier's packaging just sucks). My go-to is often a hodgepodge custom salad or grain bowl. Sometimes minimal simplicity such as mixed greens, several scoops of chickpeas, some cucumber and my favorite toppings of lemon squeezes + black pepper. Other times a party bowl! Maybe some arugula, brown rice, corn, black peas, red bell peppers, scallions, seasonal item (like apricot), chickpea, tofu and The Toppings. Sage herb is a seasonal item usually leftover at some shops but I wish it was permanent. *FOOD HACK* I take back to my desk and - armed with my spice collection - often add powdered ginger, coriander and fennel to bowl container - reseal & shake! Ahhh, yeah. Goodness.Salad, boom."
"My review is based on the various take out experiences. It's very far my place; but if I am in Everett area and want to take out some Indian food - Curries is always my first choice. Should have taken out food from here 5-6 times in that last one year.Loved the flavor of the food here. Felt authentic. Loved their Malai kofta and paneer curries. You must adjust the spice levels while ordering. Once I ordered a spicy tikka masala and it turned out to be really spicy. I keep my spice levels up for chicken & kind of mildish for the Paneer curries. This place has never disappointed me.The service is always great. They are very friendly; sometimes I wait outside in my car for the food to be ready. They always come out and tell me that it's ready. Location is quite convenient. Limited parking spots. They got a very nice place out there with plenty of seating. I would love to go back and dine-in there as well."
"As Yelp says of three-star reviews, this place is A-Okay. If you're local to Lake or happen to be nearby and just want to enjoy a tipple of wine in a very friendly neighborhood setting, round this up to 4 stars. We've been hearing great things and saddled up on a sunny Saturday afternoon (first one in a while!) to see what all the good chatter was about. We found a great little addition to the area. It's not a wine shop, it's a wine bar with a full menu focused mainly on snacks you can work on as you sip different wines. You pull in to a strip mall that's a funny mix of fast food, a little retail, some medical/dental offices. RC has the end unit facing back out toward the highway. One nice detail--they have an enclosed sidewalk patio with a table and a couple chairs. This will be a good space for nice weather when they add more seating. Kids and well-behaved dogs are welcome. There was actually one young lady selling Girl Scout cookies while we were there, and a handsome old hound resting in the sun. You almost feel like you're at someone's house, judging by the vibe, though the building is purely commercial construction. There is a nice mix of tables, highboys, and overstuffed chairs inside, and there's a garage door rolled up on nice days to get you out to the sidewalk/patio. The staff are super friendly, which puts together a nice ambiance. We ordered the taster flight, which is by default how we start at a new place. We noticed after we ordered that 4 of the 5 wines were from one place (Milbrandt), which seemed odd. This isn't a winery tasting room, it's a wine bar--variety is the power of the programming at a wine bar, and trying lots of stuff you haven't had is the fun of it. We got a little table tower that cradled all 5 glasses. All of the Milbrandts were incredibly subdued--even the cab. In fact, they were arranged in order of strength/flavor profile, and the cab was 3rd of 5. Overbuilt cabs aren't necessarily all that fun, but it still seems odd to see 2 other wines that overpower a cab in a starter tasting. Bottom line, the Milbrandt pours were dull enough to make the tasting seem like they were trying to get rid of underperforming sellers, rather than showcasing one winery because it deserved that spotlight. There are about 35-40 wines on the wine menu, mostly from WA. We ordered a rose that was fine and an Alexandria Nicole syrah that was a little too jammy but also fine. We got the Green Goddess salad that was, oddly, served with a super-duper-sweet balsamic vinaigrette rather than the Green Goddess dressing you'd expect. Decent salad, but kind of surprising and a little overpriced. The charcuterie board came out with dried apricots, which were a cool little surprise. Chocolate almonds, too. There were cheese cubes aplenty--cutting cheese into cubes is a weird choice for a charcuterie board. You want slices (not cubes) because you're eating the cheese on crackers or bread. Sweets on the charcuterie board and sweetened dressing both landed strangely, given that almost everyone in here is drinking wine, and all that sugar will make the next couple sips of wine taste weird. Everything from the kitchen seemed like supermarket ingredients, which is fine, but the prices are kinda high. $25 is a bit much for a charcuterie board with exactly 6 slices of cold cuts and a bunch of sweet stuff that doesn't really work with wine.I hate to nitpick at all these things, because the people are great and the vibe is great. If I'm visiting friends in the area I'm very happy to see a nice wine-centered option locally. We saw so many happy groups and couples hanging out and talking about anything that came to mind. Everyone here is having a good time. That's the real bottom line."
"The food was surprisingly good, I am always hesitant to try pad thai in thai restaurants because they're usually disappointing lol but I actually liked theirs. The pad thai had a good flavor not too sweet like some and plenty of meat, I would order it again. We also had sautéed vegetables with chicken and spring rolls. They were delicious! Service was great, they were around or near by without being annoying we also liked the ambiance, kid friendly for sure."
"We love this truly "country cafe" and drive 50 miles to enjoy it. It's like going to grandma's house at Thanksgiving. The very plentiful portions of freshly prepared food to the quaint old comfy chairs and brightly covered tables make a wonderful welcoming experience. The local friendly patrons and excellent service add to the warm ambiance. Every menu item is deliciously prepared and proudly served by a very friendly staff. We are not usually desert eaters but at this establishment it is a must! Their pies are the best homemade on the planet!"
"I can't say enough great things about this quaint wine bar/shop. It is intimate, and cozy, and the owner Carol is not only a sweetheart but extremely knowledgeable. She is quick to tell you all the details about the wines they sell and are pouring during their daily tastings. Stop by anytime Tuesday -Saturday for a very reasonable 5$ tasting, or a cheese and antipasto plate (or both). They also serve wines by the glass that range in price but are all extremely affordable. This is a great place to spend an hour (or three) any given afternoon chatting and sipping it up. Everyone who visits the shop is extremely friendly and there is a genuine sense of community that comes across. So glad to have wild side wines not only because of the amazing wine and atmosphere, but because of the people I have met from stopping by."
"A review for bongos is long overdue for me- it's been a staple for my husband and I for years and we love any time we get it delivered or are able to hang out on the "beach" at their shop.We always get the indies chicken plate. I love their mango slaw, the black beans and the coconut rice.. the plantain and the chicken with the sauce.. ughh it's so good! Their portions continue to be huge and the flavors are incredible. We have been fortunate to get food here since before the pandemic and so glad they've continued to thrive since.Their location is fun, it has a beach outside and nice fire pits to sit by. It's unique and it's nice. Nothing fancy, but delicious food and a great vibe- prices are good and you get a great value with huge portions.. my vote, go to bongos!"
"This place deserves 10 stars for their customer service. I had been hearing about this restaurant for over a year now. I've heard nothing but raving reviews and I couldn't wait to come check it out for myself. The restaurant itself is smaller than what I expected. It's cute and clean. They had a sign at the door that they were only taking cash payments on this day. Probably a huge inconvenience for most people. We were seated right away. The waitress was very nice however spoke with a very soft voice and it was hard to hear her over the other people in the restaurant(lots of small children crying and yelling on the day I went). Menu options are great and not overwhelming. I will say I was a little shocked to see the prices but we figured they must be great portions. Food arrived quickly and came with freshly handmade tortillas. Food portions were not what we expected. The burrito was large but was stuffed with a ton of sour cream and lettuce. The pollo Asado has thin dry pieces of chicken with about 2oz of beans and 3 different salsas. The chiles I would say were a good portion. My mom got tacos de asada that came with 2oz of beans and salsas. The horchata tasted like cold thick atole. I waited for my ice in the cup to melt before drinking it. For dessert we tried the flan. Flan was a good portion and was good but nothing I would buy again. I don't think we will be back. The service and people were amazing but it's overpriced and the amount of food doesn't match what you pay for. I really wanted to fall in love with this place after waiting all this time to try them out."
