I haven't been in years and it's still delicious and well worth the wait. There's no longer picnic tables outside to dine, but everything else is just about the sameOrder via phone if you can, to help reduce wait time. Regardless, the wait time is well worth the amazing sandwich.

great sandwiches here as always. our go to is the roast turkey with jack cheese.we always split it as it's large so it's enough for two people. One of the better sandwiches in the bay area, but I will say that its not as consistent as it always was. Newer employees don't make sandwiches as well as the vets there.

If you're from the Bay, you've probably heard of Little Lucca. Most people would agree that in this economy, a $12 sandwich that easily feeds 2-3 people is a great deal. Little Lucca offers a great bang for your buck meal, that is if you can brave the long wait times. We came during a Sunday morning around 9:30 am and there was no wait. The location is pretty small and can be easily missed if you are driving fast down El Camino Real. There is a tall sign out front along with a small size parking lot. The thing that I like the most is how the employees treat their creation/assembly of a sandwich. The workers work with their ingredients so delicately and artistically that it really shows how much love and care they put into building a masterpiece as such. Chicken Cordon blue sandwich on dutch crunch - 4/5 stars. To be frank, we ate this after 20 minutes of receiving it so it was a bit on the soggy side. The bread soaks in all that mayo and garlic spread. I enjoyed the bits on the side that wasn't soaked with the sauce and had a bit of a crunch to it. The chicken and ham was tasty while the cheese was very cheesy and melty. Perhaps the best bites with the acidic punches of pickles. I feel like this sandwich could use more contrasting textures to be more enjoyable. To be honest, a sandwich is a sandwich. Sure, the ingredients are quality and the sandwiches are thoughtfully made, but in the end, it was nothing mind-blowing about it. I rounded up on the rating because the service was friendly, patient, and took their time neatly making our sandwiches. From ordering to checking out, the process took almost half an hour. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way for Little Lucca but if I'm in the area looking for a big meal, I would get it.

In regard to food I would say it's solid. It's nothing crazy in terms of how good the sandwiches are but the price for the about of food is crazy good! You could def split one sandwich between two people and that would be enough food.The process is fairly simple. You go in, talk to someone who's free behind the counter and tell them when what want. Its a small place so keep in mind to let them know if you're thinking about what you want and if you would let someone go before you order.Who I assume is the owner is nice every time we come in.

Seriously massive sandwiches! My sandwich lasted through lunch and dinner. We ordered the lucca combo and the tri tip sandwich on Dutch crunch and both were delicious. I liked the tri tip sandwich a little bit more so I would probably order that again. The sauces and all the fixings on the sandwich were perfect. We went on a Saturday around 10:30am and there was already a line, but we called in to place an order about 15min before and it was ready when we got there!It's a tiny little shop with no seating, so we ate on the hood of our car. Would definitely come back!

My husband works nearby and recommended we stop here over the weekend. There was a long line but we wanted to wait for their infamous sandwiches. He got his usual Tri-tip special on soft bread with everything on it, extra jalapeños and extra onion. I had roast beef on a Dutch Crunch with everything. The hot pepper sauce isn't spicy and I have a mild tolerance for spice. The sandwiches were packed and good for 1-2 meals. The place itself is small so the line goes outside. They work quickly to get sandwiches made, and had extra patience for those with multiple orders and customizations. I will get some dessert next time I'm there!

Absolute BEAST of a sandwich, wow. This was probably the biggest sandwich I've ever seen, and they do not skimp on the fillings. Their GARLIC SPREAD is just as they advertised and more. I love that all the flavors of toppings work so perfectly together too. I'd definitely recommend if you are looking for a hefty sandwich to share. Take it to a park and have a picnic for less than $20. ! The workers are also so friendly despite being busy the whole day. I appreciate it!

Small little deli shop where the line was out the door. I want to say we were in line for about 30-45 mins. Definitely a popular spot. We ordered their specialty sandwiches and they were good but not exceptional. What I would say is the pro about this place is the portion - each sandwich was HUMONGOUS! I personally expected more flavor wise especially since there was a long line. I'm glad I got to try it out but I personally wouldn't wait in that line again because it gets all cramped in the shop.

10/10 sandwich shop. Be careful because everytime I have gone here there is a line especially around noon. Food is amazing and portion sizes are crazy big. I wish I could order half a sandwich because they are seriously like a foot long lol. I got the turkey, bacon, and pepper cheese and it was so yummy with the garlic sauce as well. This is definitely a Bay Area favorite!
