"Charlie is such a gem! Absolutely delicious cheesecakes, cannot wait to share these with our friends! Charlie is so kind and cheerful, I'm happy to support a business like his!"
"My friend and I had strawberry and dragon fruit. They didn't have an option for type of crystal boba on the kiosk or I forgot but the main cashier register wasn't work, so I paid again to add boba.Nice ambianceThe taste of my dragon fruit drink was a little flat for sweetness so maybe next time I'll get 100 instead of 50%. This place is my go-to for boba with friends. Generally very chill and good vibes and clean."

"This is a great authentic restaurant off the beaten path of Castro Street in downtown Mountain View. They have all the traditional dishes you'd expect at a Mexican restaurant. The drinks are yummy too! I'd highly recommend the Sangria! We were so busy eating that I forgot to take pictures. Here are a few of the inside and outside seating areas. They have an okay seating area in the parking lot, but the inside is magical with artwork and unique lighting."
"My favorite place for Banh Mi.Love the option of a small sandwich size. It's the perfect size. The ingredients are fresh and consistent. The person at the register was nice and patient. The interior was clean. It can get busy so there is a little little wait.I wish they were on DoorDash from where I live."
"Very good to excellent place for breakfast and lunch. Many healthy choices on their menu as well as some standard American fare. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. You also get your own water. Very popular with locals. Many specials every day. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. We've been coming here for 20+ years now and have sampled just about everything on their menu."
"If you're in the heart of Burlingame avenue, Caffe Central is a must visit spot! That definitely holds its weight when it comes to delicious food. It offers something for everyone with their variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. Not to mention their irresistible selection of pastries. I got the breakfast bowl after spotting it while walking past the restaurant and every bite was satisfying. Plenty of shops around to walk to after that add the overall experience. I'll definitely be back to try more of their offerings. Giving it a 4/5 only simply because the service could have been just a tiny bit better but it seemed to be a younger staff so I wasn't too worried."
"We've been hooked on this spot since 2020, and it's been our go-to destination for unique ice cream flavors! Yes, they're a bit pricey, but trust me, it's worth it.I'm obsessed with their Banana Brownie and Chocolate Trio (though sadly, the latter has been discontinued). Almost all their flavors are delicious, and they let you sample before you buy!Their brownies are also a must-try - perfect sweetness level, not too sweet or bland. Sharing a scoop (which is huge, btw!) with family on a Saturday night was a highlight. And let's not forget their amazing chocolate waffle! I always order my ice cream with a chocolate waffle here - it's the perfect combo!Pros:- Easy parking- Extended hours for late-night cravings- Super quick service (never waited more than 5 mins)- Nice ambience and Instagram-worthy spotNote: It's a grab-and-go spot, no seating. We'll keep coming back for their amazing ice cream and brownies!"
"YEAH!!! Annie is back! We are so happy Annie is back. She makes the atmosphere so happy. She is so inviting, friendly and kind."
"We catered Che-Lo for our holiday party and it was a hit! I placed my order in person, and the owner and daughter were super helpful in providing recommendations to accommodate my needs. We ended up ordering 2 types of banh mi (cut in half and lightly wrapped in parchment paper), a tray of shrimp spring rolls and 2 types of tea. Since I wanted the drinks in a large serving container (instead of individual boba style cups), they offered to lend me their own pitchers which worked out perfectly for our party.10/10 would recommend and will easily choose them again to cater our next party!"
"11/17/24Yup! Still the yummiest donuts. I honestly just get donut jokes but you can get lots of very exotic donuts here! Open 24 hours"
"I decided to come here after work to focus on writing an essay. I arrived around 4pm and instantly noticed that it was crowded. I started scanning the not-so-big place to see if I could sit anywhere. There was a long communal table and a free chair in front of a man, so I asked him if I could sit, and he kindly nodded. I put my stuff down and headed to the restroom (which was clean! Thank you!). I returned from the bathroom, saw an empty table, and moved since I was waiting for my husband to arrive. I tried to log into wifi, but there was no sign with a passcode, so I asked, and the manager said the wifi password is on the receipt after you purchase something. I told her I hadn't bought anything yet, returned to my space, and logged into my hotspot. I wasn't quite ready to order anything yet. About twenty minutes later, my boo arrived, and he ordered a coffee and sandwich while I stepped outside for a phone call. When I returned, I tried his coffee and was inspired to order the same thing. I asked him what it was, and he told me macchiato, so I went and ordered a macchiato and was presented with what looked like an itsy-bitsy cappuccino. I said um, I tried to order what my husband ordered, and this is not it. I looked towards him, and they said oh, that's a caramel macchiato. I asked if I could get that instead, and they said I'd have to pay for the new drink. I said it was an honest mistake, especially since my husband's first language is not English, and the employee said no, so I turned into a Karen and asked for the manager. The manager specified that it was my bad and couldn't do anything about it. I tried to explain about the honest mistake and him not speaking English well, so she then resorted to charging me the difference, which is fine.I honestly refrain from complaining or causing a scene; the thing is that tiny macchiato was like two tablespoons of espresso with some foam on top--tiny. It was bitty, and I would've drank it, but it tasted like tar, and I wasn't in the mood for tar.I paid the difference and got my new drink, and I swear you'd think that I had just asked them for twenty free drinks...they were so annoyed by me. I almost didn't want to drink the coffee because of the bad mojo, but I blessed my cup and drank it anyway. Instead of writing my essay, I am writing this review, and in this time, I've had to use the bathroom again. This time I noticed a sign on the hand dryer (no paper towels are provided) that says to not dry your hands with toilet paper. Um...I will dry my hands with TP if I want to."
"I am a hugee fan of this ice cream place. My favorite flavors are Meetha pan, butterscotch and falooda kulfi. They have a variety of flavors like gulab jamun, gajar halwa, sitaphal, Rajbhog, etc. The kesar pista and malai kulfi are good too! There are non Indian flavors too like Belgian biscuit, Ferrero rocher. They let you taste a sample of the flavor before ordering."

After going here many times, I finally tried one of the cakes... I don't know why I waited so long. It was so smooth and light!I love the variety of drinks, plus the endless build-your-own options! You can use a self-order kiosk or place your order at the counter. It's a great place to hang out and yap with friends. I've even seen people study here.

This is by far the best Ban mi sandwich I've tried. The baguette itself fresh and so tasty. I always get extra few baguettes to make my own sandwich for another day.My favorite is the egg or the sardines sandwich.

Food is always delicious, took a friend from out of town and they loved their breakfast burrito. Perfectly filling before a day on the golf course. Enjoyed some of their blueberry coffee cake. Plus is always a win! Perfect weekend spot for brunch. Love how they run their service of ordering first.

4/20/24This is my first time visiting the Caffe Central in Burlingame. I have been to the Caffe Central in San Francisco since it's across the street from my work (Mission bay area). As usual, downtown Burlingame was busy so we had to park a few blocks away. It was a nice day so we managed to get outdoor seating with Coco. You order at the counter, you get a number and then find a table. Here's what we got:- corn chowder (mine)- chipotle bowl (his)We waited about 10 minutes for the food to come. I only got the corn chowder since at the time I was feeling sick with not much appetite. The corn chowder was creamy and delicious. The bread was too hard for me, so I gave that to Coco to munch on. Zach's chipotle bowl looked great. He said it tasted good too. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu.

I went here the other day and I got a scoop of cherry & watermelon for Italian Ice. I loved these two flavors! They tasted amazing and I honestly wish I got another scoop. This spot is hidden because it's next to a Wingstop and a Starbucks so you have to look closely. The dude that was helping me had great customer service. He helped me decide between the ice cream or Italian Ice. He let me try the flavors before picking the one I wanted. It's definitely a grab and go place. You can sit down and eat your ice cream or Italian Ice but the store has a really pretty set up. I would definitely go back here and try out their ice cream next time!

Will not blow your mind, but this is a solid, quality hometown sushi joint especially at this price point! 2 item dinner combos for $20 or 3 item combos for $23, in this economy?! The sashimi that comes in the dinner combos comes in large slices that are good quality, fresh, and have no gristle or other weirdness, in this economy?! The portions of salmon teriyaki or tonkatsu are reasonable, flavorful, and tasty, in this economy?!You get my point. (That being said, the katsu tilapia is a bit of a miss - maybe skip that. Tilapia doesn't hold up well to being katsu'd, you want something sturdier like cod for that.)Also service is fast and attentive - dishes come out quickly and there are plenty of watchful servers who will take your order, top up your tea and water, etc. Come try Sushi Heaven - not a Michelin star joint, but will satisfy your Tuesday night tempura dinner combo craving at a very reasonable price.

"I'm SHOOKETH that Churros El Guero was the stand out star vendor of our wedding this weekend, and had to gush about them immediately to let the world know! Summary: We had a wedding of about 150 people and served churros as one of our late night snacks. Guests were RAVING about these... to the point of stopping me on the dance floor to be like "dude wtf why are the churros so good" and "hey man! churros are fire- better than Disneyland!" instead of gushing about my marriage bwahaha. Churro Offerings: The churros were made fresh at the cart and were hot and crispy. They served 4 flavor choices for our guests: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and caramel. They even made heart shaped churros for us newlyweds which were AMAZING! They also tasted so fresh and in my opinion were truly better than any Disneyland churro or anything I've tried in Spain/Mexico! Note for those hiring them for weddings or events: GET THE CART instead of the tray of churros delivered! This was such a crowdpleaser and the freshness and customization of each churro is what made guests really happy and excited.Business: Carlos was very easy to work with. We went back and forth via email to work out the logistics and he was able to generate an invoice so I understood exactly when, how, and how much to pay them. The cart arrived on schedule and served churros without a hitch. When I hit my churro limit, they also allowed me to purchase more in real time via some quick calls to Carlos, which was nice of them. Appreciate their flexibility here as guests loved this so much that they went back for seconds!! Pricing: Pricing was extremely fair given the late night hour of our service. The final price of bringing a whole cart to make ready-to-order churros was much cheaper than asking our venue to put out milk and cookies on a tray and way cheaper than getting most other dessert bar offerings catered in.Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a churro fix, especially those considering them for weddings.Thank you Churros El Guero for making our wedding night so memorable and delicious! I'll definitely hire them in the future and can't wait to eat their churros every anniversary!"
"Me and my friend went here for our first time. The food was great. We got the combo 1. Combo 1 is you choose 3 type of seafood. We got the clams, crawfish, and shrimp. Their sauce choice is good. All their sauces are great. We were able to sample some before choosing what sauce we wanted on our boil. The garlic noodles were a little bland in my opinion. Not enough garlic flavor. We also got the fried calamari, which was so good. Crunchy and fresh. We also got the Cajun fries. Also good. Overall 4.5/5. The garlic noodle were a little disappointing.Service was great. Helen was so nice and seated us right away. She checked up on us multiple times when we didn't need anything, great service. She answered all of our questions about the menu right away. Definitely going back for the food and service. She was so nice enough to give us some claim chowder, and refilled our waters without us even asking. Great service. 6/5Ambiance inside is great. Great lighting inside. Plenty of seats for big parties or small parties. No outdoor seating."
"why is the first thing on your menu something that doesn't even have tea in it????!?!?!I ordered a Brown sugar Boba, and was so sad when I realized that what I had ordered was basically just caramel flavored milk with Boba in it. I don't understand who would order this on purpose? They should on the menu explicitly state that it does not have tea in it or just make it a secondary option based on a milk tea. Disgustingly sweet and childish drink"
"Easy to orderFast Courteous Delicious Perfect level of sweetness We will be back!"
"Had the chicken slouvaki bowl for dinner. The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly, rice was flavorful and it had the right amount of lettuce, tomatoe, red onion and feta cheese. I'm really writing this review and giving 5stars because the customer service was exceptional for a fast food chain. The young man behind the counter was courteous and brought our plates to the table for us. He noticed we were done eating and grabbed our empty plates and threw our garbage away for us as well. Good attentive customer service is rare these days so we appreciate the young man behind the counter. I wish I had gotten his name. 5:30pm worked the register today 2/18 if management can see this."
"Shanghai Dun Dynasty is a culinary gem that brings authentic flavors straight from Shanghai to Cupertino! Every dish was a delightful experience, showcasing top-notch quality and care. The Crab Roe Xiao Long Bao was the star, with rich, savory broth bursting from the delicate dumpling skin. The Pan Fried Buns had the perfect crispy bottom, while the Shrimp & Pork Wontons (both spicy and non-spicy) offered comforting, bold flavors. We also loved the variety: the Chinese Little Greens were fresh and vibrant, and the Shanghai Ham and Vegetables Fried Rice was hearty and flavorful. The Shanghai Style Braised Duck and Poached Chicken were beautifully tender, and the Shanghai Stir Fried Noodles were everything you'd hope for--perfectly chewy and delicious.Thank you, Grace Chen, owner of Shanghai Bun Dynasty, for inviting me to an unforgettable dining experience. This is a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Shanghai cuisine. Please come here with your friends and family!"
"We were in the area visiting family and ended up having dinner at Mandarin Gourmet because my SIL couldn't stop raving about their food. We were greeted and seated upon our arrival. The restaurant is quite spacious. You can definitely tell it's been around for a long time. We ordered:- Hot & Sour Soup- Honey Walnut Prawn- Mongolian Beef- Crispy Chicken in Hot Garlic SauceWe were not impressed by the hot & sour soup. It would've tasted better if we had some white pepper and garlic chili sauce. We liked the honey walnut prawns. It was perfectly cooked and the sauce was light. The prawns were HUGE. The mongolian beef was tasty. Crispy chicken in hot garlic sauce was a little on the salty side.Overall our experience was good. Our server was fast, friendly and sweet. The bill came out to $100 for 4 dishes. Not bad at all. Definitely, got the vibe of a family owned restaurant. Would I be back? Definitely, if I was in the area and craving Chinese food."
"I used to live so close to Bobbi's, but it wasn't until 10 plus years later that I came back to try this little diner.Parking is shared with Yamagami's and can be difficult to park during peak hours. Inside, it wasn't too crowded on a late Saturday morning. The food came out insanely fast!I ordered a build your own omelet with bacon, spinach, mushrooms, and onions with an English muffin. For around $16, it was standard in price. Heard great things about the hash browns. However, as you can see from the photo, the omelet was oozing in oil. I had to use an entire napkin to sop up the excess oil. The hash browns were incredibly oily too, not a fan.Overall the food is decent, but was just too greasy for my taste."
"I can't believe I have not yet left a review for Viet Noms. My family & I have been regulars since 2021. On average, we eat here once a week. The food is consistently delicious (especially the spring rolls) and the staff is friendly and welcoming. In particular, Yuri (sp?) who goes out of her way to prepare my son's rice plate to his liking. I find that they are really good at following special instructions such as removing cilantro and green onions from the dish. In addition, the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. In the 3+ years I've been coming here, I have never had a bad meal or dining experience. Highly recommend!"
"This shop is connected to a gas station, but once inside you'd never know it. There's plenty of seating inside and a decent amount of parking available outside. There was wifi so I stuck around to do some work and had a fun time listening to the music play on the speakers. The cashier was sweet and patient with me as I decided what to order. She recommended the bacon & cheese mochi waffle and I'm happy she did because it was the perfect little pick me up and only $3. It is small so I'd recommend getting 2 if you want a treat (it's also so cute, shaped like a corgi!). I ordered the honeycomb latte at 75% sweet - I have a sweet tooth so at first I didn't think it was sweet enough, but once the honeycomb dissolved it was perfect. This place is definitely a hidden gem."
"This is a great boba shop all around! The interior is nice and clean with several seating areas. You can order at a kiosk which makes it quick and convenient. There are plenty of great drink options available which makes it hard to choose! I got the chocolatea and it was exactly what I was looking for. It came with boba, chocolate drizzle, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream- so good! My partner got the secret garden tea which was refreshing and bold. I really like the ice they use too. Great spot!"
"Excellent food, lovely screens between tables provided a sense of privacy, friendly staff"
"Decided to check out Park & Howard Bistro for dessert and drinks and it was phenomenal. It was pretty chill and lowkey for a Saturday, which we greatly appreciated. The service was also superb and very attentive. We never felt forgotten and hardly had to wait at all. My wife ordered the Chocolate Lava Cake and I ordered the Bread Pudding and Eggnog Espresso Martini. Everything was absolutely delectable! Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend for a date night away from the kids."
"When my dad said he wanted apple pie for his birthday this year, I knew I had to check out Niles Pie Company. I had already been introduced to their blueberry crumble at my friend's house so I knew I would be in for a treat. When I got there on Saturday morning, the only "apple" pie that they had was a 6 inch caramel apple. Since it was a little over a week post Thanksgiving, they were still ramping up their pie production. They did however have a frozen classic apple pie that I could bake at home. In the end, I decided on three 6-inch pies: caramel apple, classic apple, and the blueberry crumble. All three were outstanding...my brother in law who typically does not eat sweets really enjoyed the blueberry crumble. He found it not overly sweet which we all agreed. My dad enjoyed both the caramel and the classic apple but surprisingly the classic was probably mine and my husband's favorite. I wasn't sure how the frozen pie was going to bake off in my humble home oven but it worked out fine. My oven though must run a little low because it did take longer than the instructions. Since it was my first visit, I also got a free cookie. If you are in the area, this is worth the visit. They have other bakery items and empanadas if you are not in the mood for pie. I had the ham and swiss empanada for breakfast and it was delicious. The Niles Pie Company operates under a co-op model. It is clear they take great care and pride in their work and it shows in their baked goods."
"Solid 4 stars.Sat outside on the dog-friendly patio. Ordered our food and 15 minutes later we began eating. To my surprise I found out that Camino Corner had Asian fusion options. I would highly recommend the longanisa with garlic rice. All very flavorful food options. Great, friendly customer service. Only downfall is parking. Only street available.Be sure to check in, because with every check-in you get 1 buttermilk pancake ;)"
"Pie HardLocal woman-owned pie shop located in a nondescript Willow Glen strip mall at the edges of The Mighty Guadalupe. They do more than just sweet fruit pies, but savory quiches, tarts, and egg custards. My son decided he'd rather have a fruit pie for his birthday than a cake--he is my son after all! He settled on a blackberry pie so I ambled in after work one day to place an order to be picked up the next day. The Good:*Ordering process could've been smoother, but the guy at the counter was still training so I'll cut them some slack. *Indoor seating for dining in*Tons of different flavors to choose from in almost every category. Definitely can't complain about selection. *Vegan options available *Blackberry pie filling was out-fucking-standing. Nice balance of sweetness helped bring out the natural flavor and slight tartness of the blackberries. *Crumble on top was decent, but had a bit of a raw flour taste. The Meh:*Parking lot is tight but there is some street parking, as well. *A bit pricey but everything is handmade *I'm not 100% how I feel about this part, but their crumble on top contains almond flour; I wasn't aware of this when ordering or I would've bounced seeing as my son has a tree nut allergy. Fortunately, **he** did spot a sign when he and Carissa came to do the pickup the next day, or it could've been a disaster. Now, I get that they have signs and that's great, but they really, really, REALLY should say something to you when you're ordering. Quite frankly, I've never seen a crumble recipe that uses almond flour so I would never think to assume there might be some in the pie--and I'm sure I'm not the only one. The Ugly:*While the filling was fantastic, the bottom crust was the complete opposite. Somehow they managed to overbake and simultaneously underbake the pie crust at the same time. It was stiff as a rock and pale as an albino's ass. Not sure how that happened, but mazel tov? (ノ゚゚)ノConclusion: Great filling but awful crust. Would definitely be willing to give them another shot, tho."
"Friendly local Vietnamese. makes the best eggrolls vegetarian.I come here for our family events. I always get there shaking beef. . Ambience is relaxing and many shared memories."
"Ordered a cake 3 days ahead and got a confirmation email. Arrived day/time of pick up, only to be told the cake was never made and not in season. They offered to pick something else, however I ordered a specific cake and now it's too late to order from a different bakery. I had no choice but to pick a cake that was leftover end of day."
"Good italian good and very friendly staff. If you eat inside the vault, then there will no phone signal."
"We've been here twice. The first time we had such great pizza, we told everyone! But I don't know if they believed us because 1. this is a vegetarian pizza spot or 2. because they didn't want to make the drive to Fremont. Walking into the restaurant, it's nice! Large windows, plenty of tables (some outside), and even booths (you gotta have luck to get one of those). The service here is great. They were so patient with us while we were trying to decide. They have daily specials that you can even buy by the slice. The first time we went, we shared an elote pizza. SO GOOD. I dream about this pizza. I rave about this pizza. The dough is nice with enough chew. The pizza toppings make you not miss meat and the flavors are exquisite! The second time we went, we got half potato pizza and half mushroom. The potato pizza I enjoyed. The rosemary was a nice addition to the pizza. My husband said the mushroom pizza was good, but he was expecting a little more *something*. We also ordered the corn and waffle fries. I felt the corn was missing flavors. The waffle fries, although crunchy, were very salty. We really do like their green sauce for the pizza!"
"I love this place. Eat there about twice a month. Staff is super friendly. Recommended."
"The food was amazing! Highly recommend the bruschetta and fettuccine di tartufo. Vince and his staff were incredible. Had a really nice dinner! Thank you so much!!"
"We love their takeout pizza for indian fusion flavors!!Today we ordered takeout for 2 medium pizzas:1. Half and half veg - masala veggie 4/5 and paneer tikka 5/52. Half and half non veg - chicken tikka masala 5/5 and pesto chicken 4/5My personal favorites are chicken tikka masala and then next best was paneer :) must try!!I love the fact that they offer so many size options and price for regular crust and thin crust is the same :)Size options below:- mini 7 inch for $8- small 10 inch for $15- medium 12 inch for $18- large 14 inch for $23- giant 18 inch for $302 mediums were good for 4 of us as lunch.Definitely recommend it! #supportlocal"
