"I've eaten here twice. The first time was well over a year ago and spontaneously. It was a warm Friday afternoon for dinner. They sat us in the back which was nicely set up. The service was very kind and attentive. I appreciated how they were welcoming to my young child despite it being a white linen table. They showed no fear of a child ordering pasta with marinara! Haha The second more recent time we ate here was planned although I forgot to make a reservation. Still, no problem. They took our party of four and offered us a seat outside immediately or inside with a 30-45 minute wait. We took the outside despite the cold. They had heaters nearby although they did let us know the one directly next to us wasn't working. It was during winter holiday time so they were a little busy but the service was still very kind. They apologized for the waits but we understood. The bread came out and was warm and yummy. When our food came out, everyone was pleased with their orders. We'll plan to come here again."
"This is a great place to stop by to pick up lunch before you hit the beach. The sandwiches are to die for using high quality ingredients. Everything from the bread to all of the fixings were really good. I highly recommend if you're looking for a good place to stop by for lunch or grab takeout."

"I've always passed by here to Hmart but never visited. One parent had organized a team basketball dinner here and I was surprised. Clean, decent seating, draft beer and wine. Cashiers were very pleasant and really accomodated our large group that consisted of 40 people. Ordered a half steakhouse/ chicken pesto pizza and it was delicious. Highly recommend."
"OMG THE CLAM CHOWDER!!!Fresh, thick, full of tender clams, hint of garlic... PERFECT!!! Tim is a great server, too. These delightful dishes keep us coming back!"
"Walking up to Jack's for lunch, I couldn't help but admire the vibe--this place knows how to catch your eye! The sleek design and inviting outdoor seating were calling my name. Stepping inside, I was greeted with a classy, spotless interior that immediately set the tone. I barely had time to take it all in before being promptly seated in the bar area. And wow, what a bar--elegant, with big, beautiful screens hovering like trophies overhead. My lunch order? A half-pound of all-natural beef perfection, nestled on a toasted sesame brioche bun, with crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, and red onion. At first glance, I thought, "Huh, this burger's a little small," but then I noticed how satisfyingly thick it was. Bonus points for putting the lettuce and tomato on the side (I like to DIY my burger toppings). Now let me tell you about that first bite. OH. MY. GOD. A flavor explosion of perfectly cooked medium-rare beef and that glorious, smoky charbroil goodness. Seriously, it's like the charbroil gods blessed this burger. It's been a long time since I've had one this good. The fries? Solid natural-cut classics--good enough to keep eating, but let's be real, the burger was the star of this show. Jack's, you've officially made my lunchtime legendary."
"Excellent, authentic Veracruz taqueria. Delicious food. Friendly service. Large portions at reasonable prices. I especially love their Filete de Pescado ala Veracruzana. Delicious!Highly recommend."
"A lovely place to meet friends. Great menu to pair with wine. Love the samosas and the Brie with prosciutto. The service was attentive and our server was bright smiles. Only complaint is the music was a bit loud. Love the atmosphere and the window table was great."
"An institution in downtown Palo Alto. Service is friendly and pleasant. Food is serviceable with nothing that stands out. Lots of tables inside and out. Fills up on Stanford football game days. Great beer selection!"
"Local watering hole. As someone who frequents this location almost weekly I can say I have nothing bad to say.The staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is great and I love the daily specials which mixes things up. They source most of their food locally in the Bay Area. For anyone wanting a good solid meal with great service I highly recommend. They do have TVs all around playing different sports and have a bar section. Kid friendly and outside seating for those bringing pets. My favorites are their deviled eggs, apple chicken salad, pot roast and pretty much any burger with garlic fries!"
"Fast service, good food. Authentic flavors, friendly staff. What else can you ask for?"
"Stumbled on this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and was so glad we stopped in for lunch. The food was great (recommend the Italian sandwich!). Large portions, authentic ingredients. Full bar! Plenty of seating. Clean restaurant. There's a patio, so I'm excited to come back on a sunny day. Good service as well."

Garden deli cafe--- located downtown half moon bay! Came here after a long day at the beach! It's a little confusing because I thought it was called San Benito house. It's also connected to a Mexican cantina. Nevertheless-- the food was good! You go inside to order-- they had a wide variety of drinks, chips, and desserts. I got a turkey sandwich, chips, a soda and a brownie. Everything was delicious. I had my yellow lab with me so we had to sit outside. I really liked the fact that they let me come in with her to order, as I was alone and didn't have anyone to watch her outside. The food was really good! The outdoor patio is beautiful! Would totally come back! Also the staff was very nice and respectful!

We came here after a long drive and ordered pizza and some wine. Both were delicious and pizza was made to order. They had multiple tvs to watch the warriors game and it was busy but not too crowded. The seating is spacious with plenty of booth seating for privacy.

We had lunch here over the weekend here and i couldn't believe how packed the place was. Our name was put on the list and we were seated within 5 minutes, which was quick. We were seated in a nice clean booth. We both ordered the grilled rosemary chicken sandwich. I chose the soup for my side and my husband got the salad. Our food arrived quickly with our sides arriving first. My soup was the fideo chicken and it was delicious. The salad my hubby ordered looked really good and it was big. Our sandwiches arrived shortly after that and we both thought they were excellent. The grilled chicken was moist and juicy and full of flavor. Our service was also excellent. We will definitely be returning.

Went there to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful experience. They have nice seating area outdoors but we chose to sit inside which was awesome too . The food was really delicious. We ordered lamb chops , Jacks burger, kids hamburgers and kids chicken tenders . Loved all of them . The service was good . Our server helped us by suggesting their populars . It's conveniently located in the same complex as the Westgate mall, so you can do some shopping and then walk to the restaurant and have some yummy food .Absolutely recommended

This place is a gem and absolute five stars. The quality and freshness is always so consistent. Their food feels like how their family invited you for thanksgiving, made with love which you can feel and taste. This authentic restaurant specializes in Veracruz region which is the east coast of Mexico and i find their flavors more delicate to the Palate.

Came by here on a random day a couple weeks ago. We wanted wine and lunch - unfortunately their kitchen was closed so we munched on chips and salsa while enjoying our wine flights. Absolutely perfect location and spot - very nice inside and out with nice weather. Liked it very much and we will be back at a more convenient hour to sample the kitchen food.

The least pretentious bar in downtown Palo Alto? Perhaps. Do they have Guinness on tap and fish and chips? Oh yeah. And great looking cheese quesadillas (the guy next to me had them), and every other bar menu type food. There's a lot to look at when you're seated at the bar. They have these little doors in the wall that hide various bar stuff. I'd love to know how the place evolved over time. Whenever I've gone, there were groups of friends-regulars, but I always felt welcomed.

"**Title:** Cupertino's Late-Night Pizza Odyssey - A Tale of Dough and Glory!**Rating:** (5/5) **Act 1: The Discovery**In a plot twist worthy of a Hollywood movie, I discovered not in Half Moon Bay, but in the bustling streets of Cupertino, a pizza joint that would change my late-night culinary escapades forever. With the clock ticking (50 minutes to closing, to be exact), our hero (that's me) bravely places an order for the legendary "Half Moon Bay" pizza. **Act 2: The Pizza Arrives**Cue dramatic music. At precisely 10:30 PM, a hero emerges from the night - the pizza delivery person, bearing the fabled pizza. In a tribute to the esteemed Dave Portnoy and his 'One Bite' challenge, I bestow upon this pizza a majestic 8.2. Why not higher? Because I'm a tough critic, and perfection is a journey, not a destination. **Act 3: Wingin' It**But wait! Our story takes a flavorful twist with the entrance of two mighty sidekicks - the hot wings and the barbecue wings. These weren't just any wings; these were the Hercules and Achilles of wings, mighty in spice and dripping with flavor. A feast fit for a king or a very hungry late-night Yelp reviewer. **Epilogue: The Grateful Diner**As the curtains close, I extend a standing ovation to the staff. Not all heroes wear capes; some wear aprons and make pizzas 50 minutes before closing time. To the unsung heroes who fed a weary traveler (again, that's me), you have my eternal gratitude and this five-star review. I shall return, for the saga of the pizza and wings in Cupertino is one for the ages!"
"Great service-great food! Wish they had this in Sacramento. Was just in the area visiting family and was craving Filipino food and early enough for Tapsilog. Had their sisig silog and it was the bomb. Kuya (behind the counter) I think is the owner is super nice. Place reminded me of a "beer house" in Manila. Plenty of seating, outdoor seating as well. Parking in the back and street available."
"We were hesitant to try Campbell Pizza at first, as we weren't sure how the pizza and crust would turn out based on the photos. We've had bad experiences before (looking at you, Laughing Monk in Sunnyvale with your cardboard-tasting frozen crust!), but we decided to give this place a shot. So glad we did!The pizza was delicious--thin, tasty, and with a crust that was clearly fresh and homemade. The wings were impressive too--meaty and packed with flavor. We also noticed they have a seafood pop-up with some very tempting options, which we'll definitely be trying next time. The atmosphere was just right for catching a 49ers game, not too crowded but still lively. Plus, there are over 20 tap handles, making it a great spot for beer lovers. Definitely a hidden gem!Now the downsides: The bathrooms could use some serious cleaning, and the place could be a bit brighter. It's kind of dark inside. There are no purse hooks at the bar. Also if you go to Doppio Zero in Campbell their pizzas which are top tier quality 00 Italian wood fire pizzas are less than Campbell Pizzas 12" medium. So pricing is a bit expensive here. 12" pizza here at Campbell Pizza is a whopping $27 when it should be less than $22. Flour House in San Luis Obispo ranked 19th best pizza in the Nation. Most of their pizzas are also less. Other than that, it's a great spot, and it's group- and kid-friendly. We'll definitely be back! This is no doubt a solid spot and the own Bic is super nice. This could very well be a place we visit often!"
"Okaaaay what a fun spot! I recently went to Metro City Restaurant & Bar for my cousin's wedding reception and had such a great time.First things first: there are TWO Metro City Restaurant & Bar locations in Sunnyvale so make sure you're checking the address and going to the right one. Or else you'll be like me and you'll unintentionally crash someone's 40th birthday (lol oops sorry if that was your party!!!)Anyways, this location is the larger venue. It's located in a plaza with other restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. Lots and lots of parking for your events. The space is separated into two parts. It was fine for the party as one side had a dancing/DJ area while the other side had the buffet and more seating/tables. The food was pretty solid - a variety of handhelds like quesadillas, sliders, garlic fries (the best!!). They also had pasta and our family brought in some food as well. The bar was serving up drinks all night and their one bartender held it down for our very eager to drink family. The bathrooms were very clean, though there was only two single-bathrooms so you just might have to wait a bit. Looks like they also have pool tables available, but we didn't use that for the night. Solid venue for a fun night of dancing and celebrating!"
"A local favorite. Love the old-school diner vibe. Service is consistently good and the food is all around comfort. Love going for brunch after the rush. Faves include Country Breakfast, BYO omelet, Chunky Monkey Waffle (no chocolate chips) and eggs bennies. I always get a milkshake before leaving."
"I came here for a Work Holiday Lunch and while I've had Burmese food before I was a little optimistic. Walking inside I was blown away by how beautiful the restaurant is, the decor is just breathtaking. The restaurant is small but packs a punch and they can definitely fit quite a lot of people in there. The staff here is very friendly and professional, they quickly greet you as soon as you walk in, make sure to get you a table in a timely manner and almost immediately a server was there to bring water and take our drink orders. Top notch customer service! The menu wasn't too big but there were a nice variety of items to choose from. Since there were about 7-8 of us we decided to order a bunch of appetizers and small plates to start. We ordered the Laphet Tea Leaf Salad, Roti Platha, Rainbow Spring Roll, Crispy Calamari, Potato Samusas, Dry Fried String Beans and Jasmine Rice. All of this alone could have been the whole meal. My favorites were the potato samusas which were so good. They were cooked nicely, crispy on the outside and the curry potato and veggie filling was so full of flavor. The dry fried strings beans were perfect, they had a nice crisp to them and had a ton of garlic flavor. I also enjoyed the roti platha, the roti was nice and chewy and the curry went perfectly with it. For my main course I went with the Bone-In Short Rib Curry. This came with roasted leeks, fingerling potatoes, cipollini onions and thumbelina carrot. The presentation for this short rib was amazing, it was served alongside the bone. The meat was divine, it was melt in your mouth tender. I have never had short rib that was that tender and full of flavor. The curry was different, definitely not what I expected but it was good and had a nice flavor and went very well with the short rib and the vegetables that accompanied it. This is something that I would definitely order again!! The portion size didn't look too big but it actually was a lot of meat and I still had a lot left over to take home. Overall, this is a wonderful restaurant. Everything from the customer service to the food was amazing, I have no complaints. I will definitely be back!"
"Excellent service! Stopped by for a quick bite and really enjoyed the experience. The indoor space is quite cozy, with around nine tables, but they also offer outdoor seating. Their hours cater to brunch, but the team was kind enough to seat us at 2:45, which was much appreciated! The atmosphere was great, and our waiter Nathan was both attentive and accommodating, even joking about the number of creamers I added to my coffee. Plenty of parking is available in the back, and the overall vibe was perfect for a relaxed brunch outing."
"Cork'n Bottle have a fantastic selection of beer & alcohol. A tasting room with many many many choices that is dog friendly and open late. It has the perfect dive bar feel to it. But most importantly fantastic customer service. Which is the best reason to come in and spend money. I highly recommend you come here. Especially if you're looking for something specific."
"I LOVE State of Mind!!! Great for the whole family. Fun vibe, friendly employees. Love the variety of pizza combinations, appetizers and they have the best seasonal salads too!!!! This has become one of my favorite places for dinner out in the Bay Area."
"Great little spot! Derek is our favorite person. We have been trying to stop in and finally made it. Very clean. Nice seating. Good music. Service is 5 star. The food came out steamy hot and quick! Everything was very delicious. The green beans were excellent. We were very happy and it was nice to see Derek!"
"Everything is so good!! The food and the service. I can't remember the last time I've had German food.. I ordered the Wiener schnitzel with lemon. Even the jäger schnitzel is delicious with the mushroom sauce. Ours came with salad but we ordered a side of red cabbage. That's delicious!!!The only oddity was the music!! It was country, Amy Winehouse, more country. I hoped for German music. Or none...it's really not necessary for dinner!!We shared the German chocolate cake for dessert. It was SO moist."
"My husband and I went for thanksgiving dinner. We arrived an hour early but were seated promptly. Staff was very friendly and quick to tell us the specials and take our order. We split the Brussels sprouts and meatballs. The Brussels are a must. It really could be its own meal. You get 2 meatballs which is a bummer but only because the are so good.I had the cornstar martini which was very refreshing & the perfect balance to my very rich & DELICIOUS spaghetti carbonara. The portion size was double what I expected and a very yummy snack a couple hours later. Pasta tasted fresh & perfect al dente. This is the kind of dish you want for a cheat meal. My husband had the salt & vinegar with kettle one. Personally I hate pickles, but the drink wasn't bad. He had the seafood stew which I couldn't try because I'm allergic to shellfish but he loved it, and he's pretty picky about his seafood. The portion was also big and came with a giant prawn on top. There was a lot of seafood in it too which he was happy about. For dessert we had the chocolate bomb & Americano. The chocolate bomb was a chocolate shell with a mousse inside. Not overly sweet at all. It was ridiculously good. One of the top 5 desserts I've had. The Americano was great and a great pair with the chocolate. Normally when I have carbs I instantly bloat...bad. After eating here I was fine! No bloat at all! Everything was high quality and fresh. They really know what they're doing. Everything we got came out hot. I mean blow on it hot. I've never been to a restaurant and had my food come out like that. You can tell it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. I loved it! Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked delicious. We will definitely be back!"
"Came here with friends on a week night and they were doing a special at the time. We were able to try multiple pizza flavors. Half and half on large (only) pizzas. We tried:MEAT: CHICKEN TIKKA & BUTTER CHICKEN VEGGIE: MALAI PANEER & ALOO GHOBIThe chicken pizza was good but actually I enjoyed the vegetarian pizza more! My favorite of the four flavors was the Malai Paneer, which had a slightly sweet flavor. The Aloo Ghobi was tasty but a bit spicy for my liking. I would definitely come back again for their Malai Paneer. Large size was quite large, was pretty full after eating 3 large slices. I wish I took a picture but Service was great. Explained the menu when we had questions. Very casual dining area. Not too large, with a few tables. I would be curious see how it tastes if I got it for take-out bc having the pizza fresh is usually preferred."
"Weird food seems great .. I order fried fish and jicama Fresca.. .. but half hour after I ate here.. I had a major diarrhea.. my friend also had tummy pains..,my other friend saw my video n notice the waitress wasn't wearing mask ... aaahhhh ..."
"This was the perfect place for my wife and I to enjoy our Valentine's Day dinner. Like so many we encountered who didn't reserve or previously plan in advance to go to a particular restaurant our options were limited. Thankfully, Hayashi came to the rescue. Although there was only 30 minutes until closing, management quickly seated us, and anyone else who followed, happy to serve them. The service was excellent. The food options were decent. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our combo meal which consisted of a delicious rainbow roll and teriyaki beef. In addition to that we ordered some alcohol, but I cannot recall unfortunately, the drink my wife ordered. It came in a really cool bottle that had ice cubes centered out in the middle to keep the alcohol nice and cold. Both of us were more than satisfied. Not just in the quality of food, great service, but beautiful scenery that carried an aura of happiness for each customer that was seated in their restaurant. We look forward to coming back here again, and I happily write this place a 5/5!"
"We had a great experience as an after work HH today! The bartender/I assume owner or manager from his vibe, was extremely friendly and accommodating. The chips and salsa and guac which we got to munch on were absolutely delicious. The patio furniture was updated from the previous edition of this place and I will 100% be coming back."
"I cannot resist ordering the Hickory or Guaco Bacon Burger whenever we stop by. Paired with a nice cold beer and garlic fries, the whole meal is complete. Nice place to watch hang out and for sports. Order at the counter and a buzzer is given to you to let you know when your food is ready."
"Good spot that's open late, good vibe inside with beer tower on the menu lol.The food was good, with lots of variety to choose from on the menu. Quite an expansive menu! For the indecisive, it can be difficult to make a decision.Roll combo A was great. California roll was good, Oregon (salmon) and Miami (tuna) were both good as well. No complaints. The combo comes with miso soup and salad. The beer tower was an excellent choice for a big party, pours for many. Cheers!Service was warm."
