"Soldi 4.5 stars, rounding up for good service and reasonable price. Doesn't hurt that it's also in an ideal location near a bunch of desserts for afterwards. Came here with a group of 6, and we luckily beat the dinner rush by coming a bit before 6pm. The inside is kind of cramped, so it's a better fit for smaller parties unless you come earlier and take a lot of their tables to fix together a big one. Service was great - the guy gave good recommendations and told us if we pay in cash we can also each get a free drink from the ridge. Woohoo! We ordered a lot of things:- two types of fish with different bases (one crunchy fish, one is fillet)- chili oil beef - vegetables- dry pot It is unlimited rice but I only needed 1 bowl. The portion was more generous compared to the other fish place (Wei's fish?) and the flavor was more flavorful. Even though my stomach suffered the next day because of the spice, but it was so worth it.I would come here again! So affordable and delicious."
"This is one of those places I wish was better, but I regretfully have to give it a middling review. The concept is very good - simple bento box, prepared quickly, with a nice amount of food in each box. Also a local business run by mom&pop, something that is really dying out here in the bay.I got the salmon and chicken teriyaki bento plus a California roll side.Honestly, the California roll was surprisingly good - very freshly made and carefully wrapped. Superb for the price really. The bento on the other hand was just average. The salad was good, nice variety of vegetables and had edamame which I like. But the chicken was fairly dry and didn't have a lot of flavor. The salmon had a decent crunch, but I wish it was more seasoned, although the texture was a high point.Additionally, the price is quite high for the taste quality. ~$20 for a bento is not competitive and makes it hard for me to want to come back with so many options that have a larger impact on each bite.If I had to give a pointer/feedback, I'd say the best thing would be to reduce the amount of items on the menu. Focus on just a few different bentos and bring their taste up. Right now, the stock to upkeep the variety has probably too high overhead, driving cost up. So, I'd suggest doing what places like Hironori do. Less than 5 variations, but top notch quality."

"Server was great but all the food was barely warmed. We order Brussels sprouts, adobo pizza, sausage pizza, fries and spam musubi. Everything was pretty much room temp and the drinks were pretty much no alcohol and all juice. For $17 per drink ... I'd definitely go somewhere else. Alter Ego, Still OG, or even paper planes is the place to be. Unfortunately for our girls night they were all unavailable last night."
"Kusan Uyghur was featured on the show Check, please! and a friend recommended it, so I decided to check it out. While I was a little nervous that it might be too adventurous for my taste buds, I found lots of dishes that were delicious. The restaurant isn't huge, so it feels best to come with groups of 2-4 to avoid a long wait. The heat lamps outside were a nice touch since there isn't a lot of space to wait inside. Also, I enjoyed the complimentary ice cream cone at the end of the meal. Looking forward to my next visit!"
"Tasty hat yai (fried chicken) meal! I went with the 2 piece combo with papaya salad and roti. Fresh and flavorful. Great crunch on the fried chicken. Nice assortment of dipping sauces. My partner ordered the hat yai box with curry sauce, roti, and rice so I got to dip my roti (curry sauce not included with the papaya salad combo). Quick serve environment: order on a tablet and pick up at the counter. Outside seating only. Perfect for takeout or a casual meal."
"Ordered around five dishes- crispy baby corn, chicken lollipop, chicken chowmein, chilli chicken sauce and egg fried rice. I placed my order over a phone call and my order for egg fried rice was misinterpreted as szechwan fried rice. All the dishes tasted almost the same- sweet and sour with a very prominent taste of vinegar. Maybe if I got my correct order of egg fried rice it would have been better. The fried rice had strong overtones of old unwashed rice and was not very pleasant. The salt content in all the dishes was high as well but not enough to be called salty. Some pluses- they have more menu choices compared to other such trucks, meat was not overcooked. My experience this time was close to three stars but rating it at four as I had better experience earlier."
"This was a good spot coming back from north of San Francisco. It wasn't too crowded so we got seated immediately. They had very good hot tea which was great after a cold day. We got the soft tofu stew which was very different than any of the stews I've tried at other places. It had a lot of veggies which was good and the broth tasted different. The portion size was also good. We also tried the tofu nuggets which tasted like a very Japanese influenced dish, it was tasty. Overall a good experience, with many options."
"I've been here twice now and both times were excellent. The service is friendly and fast, but the food quality is what stands out the most. It's been delicious and fresh both times.Tried the black pepper Berger and basil chile beef, both excellent. And their desserts...it's worth it. The fried bananas with ice cream were great."
"Amazing lunch! Great portions ! Great value! Delicious! Service is quick and professional! Best in area!"
"When I was younger, I was known as the "FAN TONG 飯桶" aka Rice Bucket, because I ate SO much rice and I HAD to eat rice for lunch and dinner in order to be full. Obviously, at my old age now, I had to cut out the carbs so it was a treat to be trying out Rice Monster (located inside Social Eatery). .:: FOOD ::.Chicken Feet and Pork Ribs $15.99 (+$1.99 Chinese Sausage add on): chicken feet, sauteed pork ribs, chinese sausage. Comes in a clay pot and a very known canto dish, 煲仔飯. The rice on the bottom crisps up as it sits on the pot . Very simple dish. Wish the pork ribs were more on the salty savory side, it had more sweetness to it, and I wish the chicken feet had more meat to it. .:: Service / Ambiance / Parking ::.Terrible Service. Pretty much self service on everything. You order on your phone through QR code. Wait was super long and unorganized. Located inside Social Eatery, but there's no waitlist, no way to put your name down. You literally just wait at the door in line (very narrow if I may add), until a table opens up. They need to at least let you write your name down. My friend wanted to ask if we could add something on our order and the waiter was so rudely annoyed. He did a big sigh, rolled his eyes and was like no your order is in you cannot add anything. It was SO hard to flag ANYONE down, we just went up and grabbed things ourselves: napkins, to go box, etc. All the waiters literally did was bring food out and thats it. The place has a cute little exterior outside, when I went it was during Halloween week, it was decked out in Halloween decors. The inside had logs / wooden vibes as table. There were ones in high chairs, ones with benches, ones with low tables/ chairs. Parking was scary. The parking lot is SO narrow and small. I feel like its asking for an accident to happen. I would recommend parking on the street, its much more space and safer."
"This is probably the best Xinjiang food I've ever had.I recommend getting the regular menu and not the hotpot. My favorite dish was the stir-fried lamb tripe. It has a unique taste and is probably the tastiest thing I ordered here. The lamb rice is very good too. Skewers and the da pan ji is not bad too. This restaurant has high quality food, but don't expect the service to be quick. I like to judge more on food than service, therefore I'll give it five stars. Bonus of having kvass on their menu, a fermented Russian drink."
"Loved the chicken teriyaki bowl with brown rice! I am very particular about teriyaki sauce - if it doesn't taste like my mom's - then I'm not having it. So, the sauce was milder than my mom's (not quite as salty/sweet), but I was okay with that because it was absolutely delicious and exactly the right consistency to me (Noelani's knows how to do chicken teriyaki the way I like it!) - excellent dipping sauce - the marinade was also spot on - oh and the chicken was cooked perfectly I might add. Super flavorful, moist and succulent - YUM! The furikake sprinkled on the rice was an epic surprise (I love furikake) and added an additional layer of flavor, I would definitely order it again. The waitstaff were super nice and awesome! We also ordered the ice cream Oreo cookie crust pie - also YUM!!!"

Great food, great service. The workers were all super friendly. The waitress even gave us spicy powder on the side just because we were inquiring about whether or not there's a spicy version for the beef soup. We got the two dishes that was marked #1 recommended (one fish + one beef). The beef soup was very good/flavorful so we didn't add spicy powder. The waiter is also observant - he knew that we wanted a refill of the rice before we even said anything. Portion size was pretty big. We got two small, but that was enough to be 5 individual meals (with rice/noodle added).I liked how diverse their menu option is. There are plenty of non-fish item for those who were curious. They also have different soup options available. This was the first restaurant in the Bay Area that I saw offering unlimited noodle refills (for dine in only). We drove all the way to south San Jose (40 min because we were up north) to find out the restaurant we wanted was closing earlier than the time stated, so we had to made some last minute pivot. We arrived here around 3pm, and while the restaurant wasn't full, they were still pretty busy. There were a steady stream of takeout orders & at least 3 or 4 tables there throughout the time we were there.

Nomikai has some of the best Lychee Martinis, I highly recommend them. Their Ube Rum Milk Punch is also really good. We tried the gyoza and enjoyed them as well. The service was pleasant and fast. Overall ambiance is also great, good vibes all around. I like that they play anime on the screens above the DJ booth. The music is also enjoyable! I'll definitely be coming back to try more drinks and menu items.

Went here for belated Valentine's Day and was super delicious! My first time trying this cuisine. You will experience the sichuan numbing effect from some of their dishes if you're sensitive to spicy! Also very nice ambiance inside of the restaurant, which you would never expect from looking at from the exterior.

Very tasty Thai fried chicken! We got the smallest a la cart box of 8 pieces of dark meat. Chicken is crispy outside, juicy inside. You order on this screen at the counter, pay there and put in your name. When your order is ready, your name is called. No eat in, all take out. There are some tables outside that you can use if you want to eat there. Parking in Town and County Plaza could be tough at times, but if you circle around there will be a sot opening up.

One of the best food truck with authentic taste. My favorites are Momos and chicken lollipop, best in town and haven't seen anyone nearby who can come close to taste and price. Worth it.Ask Dominic for any specific instructions and he follows. The only place that uses green chilies to make food spicier instead of chili flakes or siracha. But be aware that this place get overwhelmed on weekends so please order food before time.

walked in on a saturday around 7 pm with 2 friends - we waited ~30 minutes for a table and were able to sit at the bar and look at the menu while waiting, so we were ready to order as soon as we got a table. the ambiance was more casual; i think it was great for just enjoying some good food. we ordered the sizzling bibimbap with spicy pork, chicken jjim (soy garlic), bulgogi quesadilla, boneless fried chicken (soy garlic). we got a little tripped up by all the flavor options, but i think we ended up with a good mix of flavors. the bulgogi quesadilla was unexpectedly good albeit a little sweet, so i wouldn't have too much of it. we were thinking that more kimchi would've made it better. i liked the bibimbap as well, it had good spiciness & flavor, and i liked that the rice was crispy. the chicken was a bit dry/salty, though.overall pretty solid, i don't think i'd go out of my way to come here again but would be down to stop by if i was in the area and wanted good korean food!

An update since we came here one more time and actually dined in. We took family to dine here as they've never had Burmese food. So we decided to order the standard Tea Leaf Salad but ended up getting a few more items we've never tried.Parking was quite easy and it wasn't at all busy when we came by, just a few tables of folks dining in. We ordered the Burmese Style Chicken Curry, Vegan Samosa, Tea Leaf Salad, Salmon Lemon Grass Fusion, Burmese Garlic Noodles and Mango Shrimp. For me, everything was a bit saltier than I wanted. But the winners were were the Mango Shrimp (which were very tender), Salmon Lemon Grass Fusion, and Burmese Garlic Noodles. I of course died due to all the garlic, but it was well worth the heartburn.Service was very good and quite stellar. They had a table celebrating a birthday and they had sparklers for them!Overall, a good place to get your Burmese food fix with get great service and very flavorful food. Definitely check them out!

"Vegan Mushroom and Cauliflower Peas Curry & Vegan Momo Super flavorful! The warmth from the spices is what gets you full without being over-the-top full!"
"I fly into work routinely and this place is always a must visit. Their food is absolutely delicious, way more delicious than a bar should be! Their crab is fresh and they go so far as to ensure meat quality on their crabs are all up to par for their customers. The owner always treats her guests extremely warm and it's always a pleasure coming back to her hospitality. Ambiance isn't anything phenomenal but it's really the food and service that's gets us excited to come back here. Flavors are always blooming and authentic!!"
"Poki Run has truly ruined it for myself when it comes to my poke cravings. No other place can compare, especially when it comes to taste and quality of that sushi rice. Let's be real- if your rice is trash, the meal itself couldn't possibly be any better when it comes to this type of dish. Poki Run is a bit of a drive compared to a couple of poke spots located a lot closer to home but I'd easily make the trip. 5/5 stars!! Seafood, protein, and ingredients are always fresh, tasty, and the pricing is 100% justified. Flavorings as a whole is always spot on and satisfies all my cravings completely. Having a few recent fails at other establishments have only solidified my love and high praises for PR."
"i have been going to bar bay grill for the past two years as a regular and i absolutely adore this place. their $1 oysters on tuesday and thursdays are a steal and i love going during those times. i usually avoid bars since i do not drink but this place's atmosphere does not make it uninviting. you could definitely bring kids and the atmosphere would still be light and fun.honestly there had never been a bad bite from me here.my favorite things are the oysters, garlic bread, wings, garlic fries, samgyeopsal, chicken wings. i love this place to death and it definitely needs more people coming here!"
"I had never been to an Indo-Chinese fusion restaurant and was excited to try this one out! I came on Valentine's day and was looking forward to the meal. Here are the items my group and I got:Dry Chili Chicken is a great appetizer! It's good for 2-3 people and not too spicy. The chicken is super crispy and full of flavor. 5/5!Chicken Lettuce Cups - These definitely surprised me! They meat was super refreshing and light for the lettuce cups. I recommend and get it again 5/5!Honey Chicken - The sauce is pretty sweet but very tasty. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't like spice. 4/5 for me.Prawns - These were extremely good! Crispy and had the perfect kick to them 5/5!Chili Garlic Noodles w/ Chicken - The noodles were a lot thinner than I expected but nevertheless there was so much flavor in these and they were slightly spicy but in the best way! 5/5Service was amazing and they even gave a Valentine's dessert to the table. Would recommend checking this place out!"
"Excellent fruit teas. I got mango, lychee, and peach teas with passion fruit popping bobas and lowest sugar level (10-25%). They have a buy 2 get 1 free deal. I paid $4.50 per drink + 0.50 per topping. Really affordable, but more importantly, very delicious teas. Their fruity teas are perfect treats on a hot day. The lychee tea has bits of lychee fruit in the drink. I really like the snacks too: takoyaki are my favorite. Service is great: nice and friendly. This is my favorite boba tea in San Jose."
"YumWe were doing some quick shopping and we got hungry so why not try out "Kelly's" Cajun Grill as a Kelly, haha! The employee who was working, an older gentlemen gave us samples and that helped us decide what we wanted. He was super sweet and the portions were great! For $10 after tax, this is not bad! Definitely a place to go to. Try stuff before you get it!"
"Okay, I remember liking this place, but I don't super remember why, and alarmingly, it's not because I was 34 beers deep :-OThis is indeed alarming - why would I be out and about and not 34 beers deep...?Let us get to the bottom of this! Now, I remember this being a weekday, because I was dressed appropriately enough for people to think that I was employed. It's not my fault that looking homeless also means living in comfort. My loss - all the more suits and ties for you bozos! Now, this doesn't disqualify the beers, because working WUI is really the only way to get through work. Man, remember the days when we were all working remotely and we weren't turning on our cameras?! Wooooowiiiieee!!Um, anway, I think the food was pretty good. Probably be back, cuz it's right across from my place and I am laaaazzzzyyyyyyy."
"Love going to this place for a date or with family, they offer great sushi and fish for a nice fair price. The chefs plate in front of you and also they offer more than sushi and seafood, they have ramen which I always enjoy. The service is always kind and they are always so helpful."
"Found this gem today. When I am in that area of Sunnyvale i will definitely return. I was greeted promptly and given time to peruse the menu. (I admit I used my phone to look up a few things I was unfamiliar with.)I ordered the Egg Dum Biryani and a slice of Roti. My order arrived quickly and was so large! I dug in and found it to be very tasty. I then tried the yogurt sauce on the rice - very goord. Then I tried the Salan (had to ask what it was) and wow! That blew me away. So delicious! Not too spicy and actually sort of sweet (I guess that would be the peanut portion of the sauce). After eating only about 1/3 of my meal I was full so was given 2 bowls to put the rest in along with extra Salan and Yogurt. As I was putting the rice in the bowls, I noticed this red piece of bark on top of the rice - turned out to be beet root - another treat! Thank you!!"
"Adorable patio, feels like you're in the middle of a garden. Food was very good, so was service. Great spot for when you want a nice evening out with friends or a date."
"Great place to go for hot plate sizzling food! We came on a weekday night and they were pretty crowded at around 6 pm. You order on QR code, and they bring the food out to you. I highly recommend you to not wear something that is hard to wash because the smell will permeate into your clothing. I ordered the curry rice with beef and added kimchi on top. We also ordered the calamari to share, the calamari took awhile to come out, about 15 min, they make it fresh! I really enjoyed my dish! It came with a good portion of meat and rice."
"465 Broadway AveMillbrae, CA 94030Gourmet Village is an old school, family style Chinese restaurant. It has a wide variety of items on it's menu. Prices are fair to pricey for what you get. Table setting is bare to basic. If you need something, you have to ask for it. After visiting family in the hospital, I went to Millbrae's Broadway Ave to grab a meal before heading home. I decided to try Gourmet Village because they have Claypot entrees on their menu. This restaurant is cool because they have booths as well as tables. Server brought tea and a menu. They were busy with a takeout customers, so I had to wait a bit. I ordered:- Braised Chicken Tofu w/ Salted Fish Claypot- Hot 'n Sour Soup, Small- Side of Steamed Rice (equal to 2 bowls) The food was good, the flavors and portion sizes were okay. The Hot 'n Sour Soup for $6.95, could serve 2-3 people. The bowls provided are a bit small. The Chicken Tofu w/ Salted Fish Claypot was perfect for a cool evening. This dish is one my favorite chinese comfort foods. The clay vessel retains the heat, and keeps the food warm for awhile. Maybe Salted Fish Chicken Tofu isn't for everyone, but if you like it.....you love it. I have it over steamed white rice in a small rice bowl. I will definitely return and try other claypots.Total w/out Tip= $25.65"
"Food was really good, just the salmon skewer was a little bit on the drier side. Otherwise flavor and presentation is good! Karaage chicken was very juicy! Service was amazing, they took the time to explain the menu. It is a great place to meet with friends, drink and munch on some tapas."
"The asian foodie in me says long standing 3 to 3.5 star places are the gems of the asian restaurant industry - and this is one of them. The ambiance might be a little tight for some but that's what I appreciate about these seemingly old school spots. They're lean, provide quality, there isn't this need to service you in this fluffy way to your expectations.Do give their rotisserie yellow noodle chicken a go. They use fresh oil and bring it out shortly after you receive your bowl of yellow noodles so its piping hot and crispy. It's always my go to."
"The Husband was tasked with picking a restaurant tonight 11/20/24, and chose Spicy Kitchen (he chose it only because he said that it had a rating of 4.8). When I choose a restaurant, I read other reviewers' comments and their recommendations, then I look at the restaurant's menu online as to what else is offered.I can't do spicy, but because I'm a trooper I made the best of a difficult situation. I chose the following two dishes that sounded "safe": Spring Onion Protected Beef, and Yu Xiang Braised Eggplant. Also, you can't have Asian dishes without the requisite bowls of rice (I ordered a bowl each for us in lieu of ordering a fried rice or fried noodle dish). The Spring Onion Protected Beef was flavorful and delicious, and came with lots of sliced white onions and 1-inch pieces of spring onions (looks like green onions). This was right up my alley because I looove onions (red/white) and spring/green onions. The Yu Xiang Braised Eggplant was ABSOLUTELY divine. It kinda reminded me of eggplant in garlic sauce that you'd get in other Asian restaurants, but much tastier. Make no mistake, this dish came with TWICE the amount of eggplant that you'd receive in other Asian restaurants. It was a good thing I didn't order a third entree because these 2 dishes were just the right amount for 2 people - otherwise, a wheelbarrow would've been needed to wheel me home! When the bill came, I noticed that the eggplant dish was called "Fish-flavored Eggplant". I thought that that was a mistake because the eggplant did not taste fishy or have any fish taste at all. Later on at home I compared the Chinese characters on the bill/receipt to the Chinese characters on the paper menu I asked our server for (to take home), and the dish is correct. So keep in mind that if you're vegan, this eggplant dish does have some kind of a fish ingredient in it.The great thing about this restaurant is that its cuisine is VERY flavorful in comparison to Cantonese cuisine. The only drawback is that unless you speak Mandarin and/or can read and understand the Chinese characters (with English directly below the Chinese characters) on the menu, you'd be clueless as to what most of the dishes are. This is because there is absolutely no description for each of the dishes. For instance, there's a dish called "Millionaire" - I have NO idea if it was a meat or vegetable dish (or for that matter what kind of meat or what kind of vegetable). But if you're the daring and adventurous type, go for it!!! Let it be a wonderful surprise - or let it be a stupendous letdown for you haha. The restaurant was very clean and well-lit, and our server (attractive young man with glasses) was awesome. If you're in the mood for Chinese but are tired of the same-old, same-old Cantonese dishes, come here and treat your taste buds to a glorious adventure - because the dishes are flavorFULL - yes, emphasis on the FULL! In the end, I'm glad I came here and will come back to try other dishes!!!Advice for the restaurant when updating your menu in the future: It would help your customers to: 1) give descriptions as to what each dish is, or the ingredients involved in each dish, 2) separate the dishes into categories - for example: cold dishes, chicken dishes, beef dishes, pork dishes, lamb dishes, seafood dishes, dry pot dishes, house special dishes, fried rice/noodles dishes, soup dishes, other dishes (such as frog, intestine, duck blood, kidney, lung) and lastly, 3) pictures of the dishes (this is especially important).Regardless, based on my experience tonight, this restaurant rates a 5 out of 5 stars"
"Phoever is hands-down one of the best pho spots in Sunnyvale! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. The menu is packed with delicious options, but the pho is the true star--deep, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and generous portions of tender meat.I ordered the Beef Pho (rare steak & brisket), and it was the beau idéal! The broth was rich and aromatic, with just the right balance of spices. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and they give you plenty of fresh basil, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños to customize it to your liking. Beyond the pho, their spring rolls were fresh and packed with flavor, and the Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and delicious--just the right amount of sweetness. What really makes Phoever special is the service. The staff is incredibly welcoming, making you feel like family. Even on busy nights, they're attentive and quick. If you're craving Vietnamese comfort food and stuck in Sunnyvale and don't feel like driving all the way over to the east side, Phoever is the place to go. I'll definitely be back again and again!"
"Went here for lunch. Got the Hot Stone - Chicken and Shrimp with Brown rice. As the name suggests, the bowl was super hot (almost sizzling) which enhanced the taste of the food. The chicken and shrimp were very tasty and the food was hot till the last bite. Loved the crispy brown rice that got stuck to the stone :DFor obvious reasons the hot stone is available when you dine is, so would recommend eating here to get a better experience."
"Highly recommend this place. I personally would rate it, four out of five however, my husband gives it a five out of five. To me what makes the food amazing is the sauces. I feel like they have to add more seasoning to their food. The service is great. The ambiance is okay, it's a food truck so be prepared to wait a while and there's no chairs for customer to sit. Other than that I highly recommend this place."
"We were just vising Pacifica for the holidays and honestly came here entirely due to walking distance proximity. We liked it so much we actually ended up going twice in one week! I will say that we had great service the first night (week night) and less so the second time since it was a busy Friday night and it didn't seem like they had enough servers. Now on to the highlight, the food, organized with tastiest on top!Tempura (Green bean & Mushroom) - You'd think tempura is just tempura but both the green beans and the mushroom tempura was top notch. It was so addicting with the light breading and perfectly cooked veggies. Highly highly recommend ordering either tempura green beans or tempura mushrooms or BOTH!Fat boy roll - This roll is LOADED. The roll that sits on the bottom is fried and warm so its such a nice balance to the cold toppings on top. This is definitely a filling roll and the fish on top was very fresh and tender.Salmon sashimi sampler - We tend to gravitate towards salmon sashimi so we enjoyed this little sampler! Nothing crazy but still tasty.Grilled skewers (Scallops & Pork belly) - The bacon wrapped scallops were good and well cooked but the pork belly was a bit tough. I would probably skip these next time."
"There is something unique and heartwarming about this restaurant. As soon as you walk in, it's very bright and modern yet simple and clean. The food was amazing. My friends and I ordered the chicken rice, Rin-Tei Hot Pot with Cod Creamy Soy Milk-Sesame Sauce, clay caramelized cod, calamari, and yuzu sorbet. It was all exceptional...along with the service! Our waiter was so kind and attentive. We came on a Sunday evening and made reservations for 5:30 but we could have probably walked in and waited for 5-10 min to get seated. There are a few street meter parking spots right in front. Restroom is extremely clean and beautiful. We loved everything about this restaurant. Please give it a try for your next date night or friend get together!"
"We used Bun Me Up for one of our catering events at SJSU and they were a hit! The students were huge fans of rolled tofu and in fact, that was eaten more than the other tasty option, soy garlic chicken. From what we saw, both options were popular fillings and the fresh toppings really brought the entire bun together. They offer dairy free buns as well if you need to cater to lactose intolerance. Joshua was very good at communicating throughout the entire process and showed up right on time for delivery as well. Highly recommend!"
"Always wanted to try this spot but it's always popular with a long line. Not busy at 8pm on a weeknight when indulging with friend Max L! I love noodles but udon is not at the top of my list...it's just too "worm-like" for me. Hey, we all have our preferences. Still, enjoyed my bowl of: :: TONKOTSU UDON - flavorful and rich broth, with a hard boiled egg, and thin slice of pork. Added green onions and it was perfect for this cold weather. :: SHRIMP TEMPURA and ZUCCHINI TEMPURA ($2 each)Good try and probably wouldn't get it again as it had lost its crispness sitting under the heat lamp.Staff friendly and helpful. Ordering is "cafeteria-style": pick your udon bowl (pick a size) or protein bowl with your choice of toppers (crisp panko and green onions) and option of tempura. Bus your own tables. Lot parking and structure parking at the City Center Bishop Ranch, San Ramon"
