Damn, I was trying really hard to not like this place because Milohas nearby also sells empanadas and theirs are cheaper and really good. However other than price point (which isn't horrendous at $9 for 1 empanada, but wish it was a bit lower), I could find no faults. The chicken and mushroom empanada was amazing! Super flavorful, almost getting some Italian feel from this. The chimichurri sauce was really nicely done. The olive oil that bathes the herbs has a great but subtle flavor while the herbs pack a strong flavor punch. It is going to be difficult to determine where to go between here and Milohas the next time I am having an empanada craving. I am split down the middle at this point. Highly recommend, would come back!

Best Artisan Empanadas (aka bae) is devoted to empanadas but they do have a coffee bar. The place seemed clean but we only took the food to go. The service is fast and friendly. The empanadas were heated and bagged in about 5 minutes. The chicken and mushroom empanada was really good with a generous amount of filling. The pastry was also flavorful and flaky. The peach and blueberry empanada was just ok. It was sweet and syrupy like the fruit came out of a can. I think the savory ones are better.

As empanada enthusiasts, we have tried various spots nationwide, but this place lives up to its name--Best Artisan Empanadas truly has the best empanadas we've ever had! We tried a variety of flavors and were blown away by the quality, flavor, and care put into every single one.For our order, we went with the Ham, Egg, and Cheese Empanada paired with their rocoto sauce and a sampler of the spicy mango chutney (big shoutout to Ernie for the excellent recommendation!). The chutney was so good we ended up taking an extra side home. Then we had the Lomo Empanada (a Peruvian classic) filled with juicy beef, sautéed onions, potatoes, and smoky chipotle pepper sauce. We paired it with the Argentinian chimichurri, which was so good we had to order an extra serving of that as well! The buttery, flaky crust was amazing with the juicy breakfast/savory fillings. The empanadas are huge, but with flavors this good, we couldn't stop eating even after we were full. We ordered each empanada as a combo with a salad, so we tried the Caesar and Mediterranean salads, which were both super fresh and tasty. The combo comes with a choice of salad is an amazing value for a few more dollars. We also ordered an Americano, and with their premium espresso machine, it was perfect. To top it off, Ernie and Stephanie surprised us with a complimentary seasonal pumpkin empanada as a welcome treat. It tasted like the best pumpkin pie you've ever had in empanada form--such a warm, delicious dessert! The service was wonderful--Ernie and Stephanie were so friendly, answering all our questions and making sure we had a great experience. The atmosphere is spotless and aesthetically pleasing, making it a great place to sit and enjoy. Overall, this is the best empanada spot around! Can't wait to come back and try more flavors.

Honestly, we wanted a place to sit and eat our Bloom bagels. But they have a rule of no outside food which is fair.Anyhow, I wanted to eat some protein for breakfast and the traditional beef empanadas looked yummy. I liked how the pastry skin is thin so the fillings can be the main deal. The beef was chopped up, not grounded, so it retained its texture. It also had complex flavors of sweet raisins and sour olives with the savory beef and onions. We paired it with a nice hot mocha. This place was a great treasure find.

Friendly staff welcomed us with useful info on the popular choices and sauce pairings. We tried the Traditional Peruvian & Chimichurri sauce, Chicken with Mushrooms & Spicy sauce. Chicken with Mushrooms was our favorite and don't think it needed any sauce. The Empanada crust was of top quality with right amount of flakiness. Also enjoyed the Raspberry and Cream Cheese empanada for dessert. Recommend Taro Steamer to pair with their Sweet Empanada offerings. The interiors are beautifully designed giving off a vibe of outdoor cafe in South America.Location is fantastic, beside the Campbell Park and strip mall with gym studios.

I definitely want to come back to try their other empanadas! I got the chorizo, eggs & cheese empanadas as a quick snack and it was savory, flavorful, and a little spicy. I would've liked it to be a bit spicier! The dough was flaky, buttery, and soft while the flavors inside went well together. They have all their empanadas in the display case so you just pick one and they heat it up for you. The service here was super friendly and welcoming! Makes me want to come back and try their coffee as well!

Took 2 days off to give myself a mental break from work. I was on the brink of a breakdown and knew I needed to do this otherwise I would snap at anyone in my path. I did go to the gym in the morning per usual, but after I dropped Gavin off at school, I drove straight to Campbell to walk a few miles on the Los Gatos Creek trail. I was actually in the mood for a bowl of pho but then I remembered that I have been wanting to try this place. I ordered the spinach and cheese w/ tzatziki sauce and a spicy Thai w/ mango and jalapeno chutney. Of course, a Diet Coke to accompany my meal. It took about 10 minutes for my meal to be brought out. I was subtly regretting ordering 2 because they're quite big in size but after 7 miles completed, I felt entitled for the gluttony. Both empanadas were delicious, generous w/ the filling. Not to mention the 2 dipping sauces that I ordered (I think $.50) per was so good that I came back the next day to purchase some for Gavin, myself, and the alter. Staff will provide heating instructions. This time I ordered the traditional beef w/ their chimichurri sauce to go w/ it. I stuck w/ the spicy Thai and the spinach and cheese because it was too good.+ get the mango and jalapeno chutney+ get the tzatziki sauce+ experiment and order different empanadas Friendly service. You can make any empanada a combo (salad or potatoes), too.

The empanadas were pretty good- I got the beef empanada and it pairs nice with what is called a chimichurri sauce (olive oil and other spices). The service was very friendly!Ambiance wise, it was a cute little place- pretty empty. Similar to a small cafe vibe.
