"I've tried Falafelle multiple times and usually go during weekday lunch time. STARS (stand out qualities)-Tasty and fresh in ingredients -Falafel is one of the better ones I've had on the peninsula -Pita bread is above average and fluffy and fresh!-Decent portions especially the falafel containerSTAIRS (areas for growth) -I had trouble hearing the names called out for the food. I recommend staff vocalize the name of person loudly or broadcast it in a screen (visuals are great) TIPS-container seems to have more food than wrap (I ate it all but was really full! I probably could have saved half portion for another meal!)-order BEFORE pickup. It took about 15-20 minutes from the time of order -order and pick up BEFORE peak time (possibly around 11:45-1pm) as there is a bit of a wait during 12-1pm -keep boxes up right - sauces leak -You can eat at nearby Twin Pines park which has some picnic tables, benches, grass or stage/stair area (no seating at restaurant)"
"Redemption Song---Bob MarleyLast time me and my beloved went to Golden Era we didn't have a good experience. I had previously gone there heaps over the years. It was time to give Golden Era a second chance after they dropped the ball on service previously maybe two years since we went there. They were on their A game. Service was on point. Atmosphere was just fine. We both loved seeing so many folks enjoying all vegan meals. Ahimsa. We ordered the Mushu Rolls as a starter. Four of them and recommended for tasty goodness rolled up in a parantha with avocado and vegan mayo with veggies. For our main we split the Spicy Sweet Potato Curry subbing tofu for the faux meat. Sweet curry with a bit of heat. Tasty and ample portions. We had this with brown rice.We were going to get another dish yet this was plenty for us.We saved room for dessert getting a coconut banana dessert that hit the spot in healthy goodness. Friendly service. All vegan goodness. Ample portions. Golden Era returns to our favorite spots to frequent in San Francisco once again. Top seller: 5 falafel balls served in a pita with zesty cabbage, sauerkraut, roasted red peppers, house salad, pickled turnips, sumac onions, pickled cucumbers and mild banana peppers. Don't want a topping? Let us know. We suggest adding hummus. Vegan.

"Another great meal at Sugandh. We started with the complimentary pappadum with 3 dips. Then, our mains were chicken korma, butter chicken, lamb biryani, saag paneer and bhindi masala. We also had plain nan and basmati rice.We thought everything was flavorful without being too spicy hot. Service was excellent. We always enjoy seeing customers who look like they lived in India eating here."
"This is one of my favorite restaurants. I am allergic to garlic, and they don't use garlic nor onion, which means I can choose anything I want. And every single thing here is wonderful! Super nice people, intimate and casual dining, delicious food no matter what you get. Their imitation meats are delicious."
"I always appreciate a fully vegan restaurant. This place has a lot of really interesting and unique mock meats (goose!) and lots of tofu options. I got the potstickers which were very tasty. Filled with cabbage and paired with a sweet and sour sauce. Also got some seaweed/tofu soup which I would've liked a little more dimension to, but would be good for those that prefer a simple broth. Portions are pretty big! Couldn't finish the soup as a single person. Good value for the cost. The servers and staff are lovely. 3% surcharge when using a card."
"What a great find! Wonderful music, cocktails, and vegan food. Lots of gluten free options."
"Location: The restaurant is located on a busy street with limited street parking in front of the restaurant. There is an amazing metered parking spot right in front of the restaurant BUT there is a sign that you can't park there Mon- Friday before 7PM. More street parking is around the corner, but we drove around a bit until we found a free spot. There are multiple homeless encampments in the area, so the restaurant is kept locked during business hours and an employee will open the door when they see you. Food: Taste was amazing. We ordered the veggie platter which came out in a big bowl on top of injera. For the main dish we ordered beef, which was placed in the middle of the bowl and my only qualm was that this portion was extremely tiny. The beef and veggie platter was about the same price, $17-$18 each, but the portion of beef looked similar to the portion of one item from the veggie platter. Ambiance: The restaurant is very neat--almost corporate looking. The seating area is small with only 5 tables as pictured. You order at the counter and seat yourself. The place is very casual and there is even a self self water station."
"We always come back to this Ike's location. Prices are still good for what you get and the consistency of the sandwiches is what brings us back every time. The staff are always friendly and pick up is a breeze. Even when we have to wait a bit, it's because this location is packed which is a good thing others enjoy is as much as we do. We don't eat there but it's nice they offer tables for those that do or to sit and wait. We also love the loyalty cards they offer which keeps us coming back."
"Nice restaurant very accommodating staff. There were 7 in our party, 4 vegans, a vegetarian, and 2 "regular" eaters. The menu had a vegetarian section, and I asked if the food was vegan. The server told me she could have any of the menu items prepared vegan by subbing tofu and they had a "clear" broth for the soups. We ordered one of the house made noodle soups with pickled cabbage (normally spicy beef) but had it with tofu instead. It was delicious! We also had the veggie clay pot, Kung Pao tofu, and 2 chicken and veggie dishes with a few sides of rice. Generous portions and excellent flavor. Everything tasted freshly made and nothing was too oily. Service was great and very clean restrooms."
"Delish, healthy and wholesome food made with real ingredients. So happy to have a wonderful place like this in the heart of the Mission!"
"Hip vibe, stellar service, and a truly satisfying meal. We got something healthy that was way better than what we were expecting. The staff made some good recommendations based on what we were looking for. It's an SF gem."

My SO has always loved coming here for a quick, healthy meal. I didn't really have a strong opinion on it. Aside from the super soft pita bread, I never really craved anything from Falafelle. I eat like a child--I don't like vegetables, especially pickled vegetables. Plus I like meat lol.My opinion on Falafelle completely changed once I tried the Heaven's Pita. It's the best pita pocket I've ever had. With cauliflower, eggplant, and walnut pesto in their fluffy pita bread, I still feel like I'm eating a somewhat healthy meal. I definitely recommend it for those who don't like vegetables :D

My colleague orders these vegan avocado rolls to our work pot lucks and I've been obsessed with them! They have an extensive menu on everything vegan from rolls, salads, soups, noodles, rice plates, clay pots etc. It's healthy Asian vegan food, what's not to love! I ordered the mushu rolls today which comes with raw cabbage, carrot, avocado, & soy protein wrapped w/ paratha. Soo good, Golden era will be a staple in my book, can't wait to try more dishes from them!

Currently my favorite Indian restaurant in the Bay. We literally wiped our plates clean and left no crumbs. Super underrated hole in the wall, but food was 10/10. Tikka, Naan & chicken momos are to die for! To think our bill was also $39 for 2 people is unheard of.

Worked from the office a couple of months ago to grab lunch at Sam Wo before it closed, as the owner was retiring. Sam Wo was crowded and had a long line, so I walked over to Enjoy that was recommended by a health conscious colleague. I had the vegetarian braised spareribs with vegetables with a bowl of brown rice. The dish captured the flavor of the carnivore version of the dish, which inspired it with faux meat, made with a soy- based protein but not on par Beyond or Impossible meat. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and would come back.

Lucky Creation Vegetarian was one tea restaurant that reminded me of having my first vegetarian selection for takeout since childhood. Seeing those soy protein foods like faux bbq pork and sweet & sour gluten puffs were proof enough. So for lunch, I came all this way to savor a vegetarian dish during this year's Autumn Moon Festival. The space of this vegetarian tea restaurant had been small over the years, but there were still few people with half the amount of empty seats, which was perfect for me to fit right in. The food here, especially my Diced Mushrooms with five spice curry over rice, never gets old. Moon cakes, at the very bottom of the glass display, look good (should've asked if these have real egg yolks inside). If there's any tea restaurant where I can easily find, Lucky Creation Vegetarian will be my best place to go to. If I were given the path of a Buddhist for my new journey, I might, depending on how much thought I put in. For now, I will always eat more greens.

Hidden vegan gem in North Beach! SF really does vegan restaurants well. The combo plate was delicious, hearty, and savory - didn't feel like vegan food at all! I was absolutely stuffed afterwards. My friend had the empanadas, and said it tasted like a pot pie (in a good way). The kale chips are an absolute must try. They were crispy and cheesy and addicting. Would also come back here to try the reuben and corn taco, so curious about the raw menu!Sangria was also great and so was the mango cocktail. Very fresh but no frills at all. Just good drinks.Restaurant was quiet on a Tuesday night, just a few tables inside so it was quiet, but felt like a friendly neighborhood joint. The tables are close together, but we ended up chatting to our neighbors about the food and how we ended up choosing to eat there. Servers were very sweet as well.

I don't have a lot of Ethiopian food in SF but this was very tasty, well spiced food.We tried the vegan sampler & siga tibs, which was a great way to try a little bit of everything. Vegan sampler comes with braised cabbage, red & yellow lentils, and collard greens; siga tibs is beef. The beef and red lentils were my favorite, both really well seasoned and flavorful. The injera texture is a sponge-y sour dough and I really liked the texture, especially combined with all of the other foods. Being a sour dough base, the injera does have a sour flavor that was a bit overpowering to me in some bites but with the right amount of lentils/meat was well-balanced. I really enjoyed the style of eating as everything is shared and you can create your own bites and flavor combos. Great vegetarian options and would recommend for anyone looking interested in good Ethiopian food.

I have been to this location three times and two out of the three I think I was helped by the Manager or one of the Owners. A very happy, friendly and welcoming guy. His positivity alone is worth 5 stars because you feel your business is appreciated and he enjoys interacting with customers. Even with a mask on (which I appreciate the health aspect) you feel his smile and joy.Ike's locations are hit and miss. This location gives generous portions and the rolls are fresh. My wife had a Spiffy Tiffy on a Dutch crunch roll and she said it is the best Ike's sandwich that she has enjoyed. I had the Steve Young on a soft roll and mine was pretty good too. I ate mine so fast I forgot I wanted to take a picture first. Definitely patronize this business for fresh, generous portions and friendly outstanding service.I live in the East Bay but will stop here on my way home when my wife or I crave an Ike's sandwich.

"Yum! This restaurant is worth a visit. It's small, but the service is friendly and fast. My partner and I live in the neighborhood and stopped by for dinner a few weeks ago and I'm so glad we did. We tried the Kathmandu chicken, lentil soup, and Shahi paneer. We loved them all and it was a filling meal with a nice variety of flavors and textures. I also have a lot of vegetarian and GF friends, and they have a lot of available options, so this is a crowd pleaser for a group with various food sensitivities."
"This place is always consistent. Food is still a 10/10. Service is quick and staff members are friendly. Went for dinner on a Friday night and it was the busiest I've ever seen the place. Mission Curry House has always been super strong with takeout/delivery so it was a nice surprise to see a bunch of people in the restaurant.Tried the Chow Mein for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Tasted better than I was expecting. The only change is the menu. There's a QR Code on the table and you order through your phone and also pay through your phone."
"Came by for Sunday lunch with a friend and enjoyed the experience! I had the Togarashi 2.0 with mixed legumes, and it was so delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked, and everything was perfectly seasoned. The overall meal tasted so fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The waiter was also very kind and provided us with cucumber infused water. Would definitely return again!"
"If I could give this place more stars I would! Absolutely loved everything, from the service right down to the food. Staff were incredibly welcoming and interior is nice, and they also have good outdoor seating. Prices are the best I've seen since moving to the city, as well as portions for a Mexican restaurant. $2/taco and $15/burrito AND LET ME TELL U THE BURRITOS ARE HUGE AND CAN EASILY BE SHARED! It was insane too because they packed it with avocado and meat, avocado surprised me the most as most places like these usually do an extra add on fee but nope. Impeccable, I cannot recommend this place MORE! ‼‼‼"
"Healthyish Republic is a eatery with Turkish and Californian influence, rooted in nutritious meals. The creative menu accommodates a range of diets, making it an awesome option for groups. The service is warm and attentive; it really feels like dining at a friend's home.During our latest visit, we tried the Turkish breakfast, a fantastic option if you want to sample a bunch of dishes and sides. The dishes were high quality, vibrant and delicious--reflecting the high standards set by the staff and owners. Can't wait to make it through the rest of the menu! Please come out and support this great neighborhood business!"
"fantastic cheese pull! The ambiance is quick and quaint. The service is fast. You will be happy you found this gem in the Castro."
"Amazing vegan food! I particularly loved the crab aranchini ( highly recommend) The ceviche tostada was also good, but a bit hard to eat (the toppings kept falling off lol) I'm eager to come back to try more of their offerings. This is a pop-up kitchen located in a bar, phonobar. There's a fair amount of seating, but they don't take reservations and it does get pretty busy post 6:45pm. Service is a hybrid between restaurant and bar, but prompt and helpful."
"Yum! Ordered from Door Dash so I can't speak on the service, but the food itself was delicious! Ordered 6 pc vegan mozzarella sticks and they were huge, bigger than my hand -- would stick with the 3 piece next time! Both the vegan and non-vegan pizzas were amazing! Would definitely order from them again."
"A new hidden gem in SF, Basil Cart will leave you on a flavour journey to be remembered!I ordered from Grubhub, and this restaurant was a new option and I'm happy to support new businesses! Other reviews are pretty accurate, as I had a great experience ordering here. They currently have specials on Grubhub which enticed me to try them out but for the quality and flavour it's well worth it regularly. The delivery was timely and the owner included a hand written note, which was a nice touch and shows how much effort they put into their business!I tried the Pad Thai, Green Curry and Yellow Curry. The Pad Thai was very flavourful all around for some authentic flavour. It came with some peanuts and lime for garnish and was very fresh! Had some green onion and beansprouts as well, which I would have liked more of but not a big deal. The dish was also lined with a leaf (not sure what it's called) but also adds to the authenticity. The Yellow Curry had a lot of unique flavourness and rich body. Chunks of carrots and potatoes permeate the dish for some added richness as well which balances out the curry nicely. The Green curry is probably my favourite, as it also had a very rich body and taste as well. The bamboo shoots give a nice crispness to balance out the thick curry, but the flavour is the amazing point. A slight sweetness provides an upside to every bite, and combined with the slight spiciness and texture of the eggplant gives an awesome curry that's not too heavy and should go well with just about anything! The rice was perfect to my preference as well, as it was not soggy so that it goes well with curry. Very fragrant and fresh! All the portions sizes were great, so if you're looking for a nice flavourful and filling meal to satisfy your Thai cravings this is the place!"
"It is located up stairs of Saluhal along with other restaurants. First time trying Puerto Rican food. Opted in for the sampler plate - $20. Had a choice of vegan chicken skewers or pork (but real pork). I was curious to try the vegan chicken. I didn't mind it that much but the texture was a bit too dense for me. The portion on the plate was very generous. They gave me lots of rice, some cooked plantains, a bit of green salad and the protein. I took half of it home because I also ordered a side of tostones - $6 and it was filling in itself. They were fried perfectly and the dipping sauce paired well with it."
"Found Pinche Sushi while scrollling through DoorDash and decided to give this place a try. Saw all the 5-star ratings on Yelp so the food should be bomb dot com right? SIKE.Ordered 4 "Four Item Bowls" and boy, they were HUGE! Very generous amount, so if you haven't been starving for days, I would suggest the Three Item BowlThe Goods:-BIG portions with LOTS of fish-Huge variety and selections on their menu-Came with half of an avocado at no additional charge (although it was uncut which was weird lol)The Bads:-Rice was too mushy and vinegary-Fish seemed like it was frozen and thawed (slightly mushy and had no fish taste)All in all, it's totally worth the price! But if you're looking for more quality fish, I would suggest looking somewhere else."
"I have loved pressed juicery since I had my first try living in Dallas! The juices are light and fresh and have a taste for everyone. I love that this location also has freeze and açaí bowl options. I tried the açaí bowl option and even thought it's like a froyo texture the taste was amazing!it was the perfect treat to the day! I love that this location makes your pickups for juices so easy having it in fridge where you can just grab and go. It's great addition to the hillsdale mall!"
"Tasty sandwich, ready quickly and served with a smile - great new spot to grab something to go!"
"Nextlevel Clucker is delicious! I gobbled my Chik'n tempeh Bacon Ranch Burger so fast and enjoyed every bite--I didn't give myself a chance to take a photo! This is my family's first time ordering from Nextlevel Clucker and we will be back for seconds! Oh, and the tots and shakes were great too!"
"Wow! Finally, excellent vegetarian/vegan delivery food! I remember the brick and mortar restaurant and I'm so glad to see it revived in its new incarnation. The Neatloaf dinner is as hearty and tasty as it gets. Can't wait to dive back into this menu again!"
"Food 4Service 4.5Ambiance 4Price is slightly higher than other taquerias in the Mission."
