Staff is friendly when ordering over the phone or in person. At busy times best to call ahead but today decided to come in around 7pm and they got my 3 orders ready in under 10 mins. Sometimes when busy they will tell you 20 mins. Pretty standard seating for a Hawaiian spot. Like a fast casual spot from the 90's and it's still the same as the 90's. One of the better more consistent spots for Hawaiian in the peninsula."

Mike L. "You know, even though I was never a regular here, and that my last visit came long before COVID ever became a thing, I was actually pretty happy to see SF Wraps still alive and kicking. Not only that, though, but that they still maintain their late night hours as well. Because, if I'm being honest, most of the times I came here were driven more by the time of night than for the food itself. Not to say that the food here was bad, though there does seem to be a correlation between level of sobriety and how good food tastes...In the years since my first time trying SF Wraps, not much seems to have changed, for better worse. There are still a handful of tables, the decor is about the same, and the menu looks all too familiar. While their range of offerings isn't super wide (wraps, plates, bowls, soups, salads, and sides, along with some cookies and baklava), it covers all of the bases. What's more, what they do have still sounds pretty enticing and they have a decent variety of vegan options, if that's what you're looking for. Unfortunately, though, the food doesn't seem to have changed much either.-- GYRO WRAP - Beef & Lamb Gyro Meat, Cucumber, Tomato, Spring Mix, Red Onion, and Tzatziki...$14.75(https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/sf-wraps-san-francisco?select=FrlM1C4xZViMG7grcnECJg)In terms of taste, this wasn't bad. The gyro was fairly juicy and the veggies were all very fresh. The lavash, however, is not good. I don't know if it's the wrap itself or how they toast it, but it's so dry and brittle that it completely fell apart after just two bites (not to mention the need to sip my water often).-- SHAWARMA WRAP - Beef & Lamb Gyro Meat, Cucumber, Tomato, Spring Mix, Onion and Hummus...$14.75(https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/sf-wraps-san-francisco?select=QgXCYzBS3NO0R3rVBKxL6w)It's essentially identical to the Gyro Wrap, but with hummus instead of tzatziki. The taste is comparable to each other as well, but this one feels a little heavier thanks to the hummus. Plus points for it also helping to offset the lavash's dryness, though it's still brittle and falls apart.Beyond the food, the one thing that I really like about SF Wraps is how utterly convenient they are. On top of how late they stay open, parking is both easy and plentiful (at night), their handful of tables are almost never taken, and the food comes out fairly quick. It's just a shame that they're not nearly as cheap as they used to be (the wraps used to be $9-$10). Otherwise, if I worked in the area or was looking for a late night bite after hitting the bars nearby, SF Wraps isn't a bad option to have around. If/when I do return, though, I'll probably go with one of their plates or bowls instead, so as not to bother with their lavash again."

Elvine V. "Turo Cafe and Grill is one of the few places in the Bay Area to get good quality, Filipino food. Turo serves the same dishes that I grew up with at home.In the past, I've ordered popular dishes, including: pancit (noodles), silog (breakfast combos w/egg), pork sinigang (tamarind soup), BBQ skewers, and of course, LUMPIA. It's rare to order lumpia shanghai (finger food pork egg rolls) at such a girthy size. And there's is kinda girthy for a shanghai. Believe me, I've had shanghai in other places which were either "too skinny" and/or "too short". There's one place I know of that tends to roll their shanghai in extra wrappers to almost deceive customers that it's actually filled with enough meat! LOL. In any case, Turo's Shanghai is "fat, tasteful and meaty" for the discerning lumpia lover in you!Turo Cafe deserves 4.5 stars!!! @feastyle approved! The Turo Cafe storefront makes the store look as if it's heavily busy because of outside traffic, but I've developed a "system" on how to work with here. LOL Otherwise, everything has been great since the food is so tasteful they bring back memories of the quality Pinoy dishes I know and love."

Golden Edge was not on our list but we stumbled upon it as we were looking for a kid-friendly food option last minute. We've tried plenty of pizzerias but this had to be one of the best we've tried (in terms of the speciality pizzas that are served). We tried the spinach sausage and the supremo and the husband and I LOVED the spinach sausage. Prices were comparable to our local LA pizzeria and portions were huge. They also do not skimp on toppings! The cherry on top was seeing the workers/owners (?) treat customers with kindness. I don't see this often and when I do, I make sure to let everyone know because it makes our world a better place. I observed a woman come in to ask for a drink and one of the workers smiled and without saying much handed her a soda. She profusely thanked him and left and that made my night :) Ty for the delicious food--we will be back!"

Lorraine G. "This will likely be my last visit to this Shake Shack. After four tries, it's time to share my experience. I still remember my first visit during the pandemic. My friend and I ordered through the app while standing right outside. It was straightforward--place your order, get an estimated pick-up time, and check the monitors to see when it's ready. We waited a long time, but our names never appeared. When we asked an employee about our order, the woman rudely told us that if our name wasn't on the screen, our order wasn't ready. We ended up asking another employee, who was able to locate our food, but the experience left us with a negative first impression. As for the food on the 3 previous visits, I've always thought the burgers were just okay--nothing exceptional. Every burger I've had here has been lukewarm at best, never hot and fresh.Tonight's order was particularly disappointing. I got the ShackBurger and a frozen custard (vanilla & chocolate). The burger was a mess--sloppy assembly with tomatoes sliding out, a pickle against the cardboard box, and a sad, wilted lettuce leaf between the top bun and cheese. The buns were flat, and once I reassembled the burger, it looked so unappetizing. As usual, the burger was lukewarm with a soggy, flat bun. It wasn't worth the $7.99 as I was still hungry afterward. The only bright spot was the frozen custard.Another annoying detail: despite checking the box for napkins, they never include them, and I always have to ask. I've had great experiences at Shake Shacks on the East Coast, but this location consistently disappoints."

Vic S. "My go-to order at Shake Shack is the "Shack Stack," a delightful combination of a single beef patty and a fried, stuffed portobello mushroom filled with gooey melted Muenster cheese. This burger stands out as one of the best on their menu, though the rich cheesiness and the intense flavor of the mushroom can be a bit overpowering. Nevertheless, it remains a delicious and indulgent choice.Although I'll be honest, I typically only visit Shake Shack when I need to use my $10 monthly credit from Amex, so the high price and small portions are slightly more bearable especially when there's a special promotion, such as free chicken sandwich or milkshake. These deals are worth keeping an eye out for, even though the free sandwich is just so so.The ongoing debate of Shake Shack vs In-N-Out is a tough one. Though they operate in different tiers with varying options, Shake Shack leans more towards a "premium" experience. However, when considering value and overall taste, I typically favor In-N-Out for its consistent quality and satisfying portions.Overall, while Shake Shack delivers on quality, the smaller portions and higher prices make it a less frequent choice for me compared to other options."

If you're walking in from the neighborhood, you'll be enticed by the aroma of the grilled meats a block before you get there. My go to is the super surf and turf burrito. It really hits the spot with succulent shrimp and tasty chunks of Carne Asada. But this time, I just wanted a little snack for tonight, and save the rest for tomorrow. Was thinking of trying their taco salad, but decided to try the Carne Asada fries instead.I'm used to having smaller sized french fries in Carne Asada, but these lean more toward steak fries. I want to say, somewhere in between McDonald's fries, and steak fries. Either way, definitely filling, and has a good crunch when hot and fresh.Topping the fries is a generous portion of everything: Beans, cheese, meat, and especially the salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. Everything tastes super clean, but no mistaking that this is going to be a heavy meal lol. Golly, so many carbs, so plan to share, or have a small portion if you have the willpower to stop eating. Shake Shack, however, would continue to keep the business running as the only burger joint.Like Marugame, Shake Shack has a big enough space, with both indoor and outdoor seating. A staff member kindly delivered a meal to my table with a fair amount of time. But still, I rather use cash to pay to the cashier than my credit card for self service. Regular criss-cut French fries, non-dairy chocolate shake, and a nice Shroom Burger; a perfect health conscious trio! I wanted to try the Golden State Burger, but I'm not much of a beef guy. If anyone loves beef burgers, I say grass fed shall be the best choice. This type of beef is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and micronutrients. You can't spend money every single day to go out and eat...unless my co-worker pays for my meal. I have meat and vegetables for lunch, but no rice. I need some starch for lunch. So I landed to this small "Hole in the wall" Chinese deli to get something to accommodate my leftovers. The small, but dirty deli has a 1-3 item lunch combo, ranging from $4-$6.00. They also sell single items too. And just by coincidence, one of the cooks just made and brought out a fresh batch of Fried Rice. I took a box of the fresh fried rice for $2.75, which contained rice, peas, carrots, bits of scramble eggs and Barbecue pork. With the lunch combo seeming to be popular, presumably this place goes through a lot of fried rice, and it's always fresh. Considering not many Asians dining here, the friendly ladies were not shy to pack my fried rice into the white box. Maybe my uniform has something to do with the nice treatment. This place is "cash only." I would highly avoid the deli's lavatory, because it's dirty, repugnantly hideous and nasty. There no paper towels and the walls are covered with tons of graffiti. Just get your food and take it "to go"."
